Subject: RE: Additional Squads Requested/Jans Olsen

To General Edward Alcatraz,

Your request to have additional Meta-Human squads posted in the USNA has been acknowledged, and you will be provided with reinforcements. While I understand the preference for BETA units I'm afraid we do not have any BETA units to spare, so we are transferring three new squads of GAMMAs to your command. They are already fully equipped and trained, and should be sufficient enough to bolster your forces.

I have sent an invitation to Professor Olsen to come and join us here at Geneva. When he arrives we will begin establishing countermeasures for the Ascension. Hopefully we will be able to avoid another incident.

CONTROL, Commander of Meta-Human Warfare and TRANS-Ops

The Bounty Hunter

Bilgewater City Docks

Bilgewater was what Isaac had expected it to be. A port city built around the side of two cliffs that faced each other, with a small stretch of ocean in between that was maybe about a third of a kilometer in width. One half of the city was referred to as the North side, while the other was called the South side. Half of the north side faced out into the open ocean in Valoran's direction, while the other half faced the South side of the city. Of course, that meant the first half of the South side faced the North side, while the rest of the city faced another cliff of the Blue Flame Islands.

The city itself, as Isaac had expected, looked like one massive pirate-slum. Wooden buildings built in all shapes and sizes were scattered around without any kind of sense of organization or city planning. Random docks spouted out of the sides with hundreds of ships of all sizes were sailing around in a sense of organized chaos.

And the people all dressed like pirates, both the men and the women. But what made Isaac weary was that each individual he looked at had some kind of visible weapon, from cutlasses to a flintlock pistol.

"Well isn't this just a nice tourist attraction?" Mute chuckled as Isaac looked around the city they had just arrived in.

I've got a feeling that if we piss anyone off here... we're going to get into a huge fight... Isaac felt that that was a fair judgement.

The meta-human, once again fully clad in his armor with his face hidden behind his visor, stepped off the ship they had brought them to the port city, and onto one of Bilgewater's many docks.

"Archangel." Isaac heard someone call to him from behind. He turned around and looked back up at the ship they he had just departed from, and saw the Ionian soldier Ren Yokoyama calling down to him. "My soldiers and I will wait here, come see us when you have learned of your next destination."

Isaac nodded. "Understood. Not coming ashore captain?"

Ren Yokoyama shook his head. "Ionians and Bilgewatians don't exactly see eye to eye, and we're not here to start any fights." The captain turned to walk back down his ship's deck. "We'll remain docked for three days, let us know soon." And with that, he walked away.

"So... what are we actually doing here?" Mute asked. "Aren't we just supposed to tell people 'we don't know' to more questions about people going missing?"

Isaac sighed and looked around the pier he was standing on. "One step at a time Mute, one step at a time."

First, lets find Vega. Vega, Ezreal, and Jinx had all already left the ship, the latter of those three jumping off and running into the city as soon as they docked. I hope she isn't blowing something up already...

Isaac tried to get his bearing in the city. This whole city is basically one giant hovel slash dock... with buildings going up the bloody cliff. How are we supposed to find ANYONE here?

Just as he thought that, he spotted Vega talking to a group of people at the pier's entrance.

"Well, let's just follow Vega around the city." Isaac said to his AI and walked towards the young summoner.

"What? Afraid you're going to get lost again?"

Isaac responded with a "humph". Honestly, yes. Last time I got lost was in Piltover, and that ended with us running into Jinx and Vi smashing my face in by mistake.

Sure in the end it got him to meet with Caitlyn, like he was originally planning, but that headache he had was a poor trade off.

As he approached the summoner, Isaac looked over the trio of people Vega was talking to; two males, one female. The males seemed like your typical run of the mill pirates. Hats, beards, open shirts, and cutlasses all. The woman on the other hand was different. She had a black pirate hat and piece of white cloth wrapped around her breasts, with a strange looking black leather bra-like piece that went over top. Her torso's midsection was exposed, and her black pants had several buttons on the sides of her legs undone, revealing more skin. At her sides, we're two pistols that had (in Isaac's opinion) unnecessarily large barrels that made them look like mini-cannons rather than side-arms.

Of course, what stood out the most from this woman was her bright, blood-red hair that flowed down her back all the way to her pants.

"I know pirates like to wear exposed clothing..." Mute mumbled, "But I can't believe that that girl would go into battle dressed like that..."

Isaac rolled his eyes. "Jinx goes into battle wearing nothing but short-shorts and a bra..."

"Well that's because she's crazy. Literally."

"Fair enough..." Isaac looked the woman over again. She seems to be the one in charge and doing most of the talking... not a bad looker either...

As he approached Vega and the trio, he could over hear their conversation.

"In the time it took for you to arrive we've lost seven more ships. Two of them were just ferries, they had no valuables on them." Judging by the woman's tone and her annoyed expression, she appeared to be arguing with Vega.

"The seas around Bilgewater are always dangerous, mainly due to the fact that this is a pirate nation." Vega retorted.

"That's not the problem!" The woman spat back, "Remains of these ships are being fished out of the water, along with the rare survivor, and they all speak of lights in the water and the skies that occur JUST before these attacks."

"That's why we're here! We now have information on this threat."

The woman scoffed. "Oh really? NOW you do? What about all those letters I sent to your so called minister? He never-" The woman's slowly rising voice filled with annoyance ceased when she noticed Isaac approaching. Isaac saw her eyes dart to him, and looked him up and down. At first, she had seemed surprised at the sight of him, which Isaac kind of expected.

Her expression quickly changed from surprised to one of amusement. "Well, well, well..." The scaly clad woman's face broke into a grin. "Look who it is..."

"Who are you talking t-" Vega glanced behind him as Isaac walked up next to the summoner, facing the trio that he had been talking to. "Oh..."

"Am I interrupting something?" Isaac asked, fully knowing he was.

The two men and the woman didn't hide the fact that they were looking him up and down. Isaac looked each one of them in the eyes to try and figure out what they were thinking. Of course, he couldn't, but he got the vibe off the two men that they were sizing him up in case they needed to fight him.

The woman on the other hand...

Smiled.

"I thought you'd be taller." She said with a slight laugh.

Isaac's shoulders dropped slightly as he shook his head. Oh please... if I wasn't short, I'd look even more imposing with this suit of armor...

Vega brought a hand to his forehead and sighed. "Archangel, meet Miss Sarah Fortune." He motioned toward the sole female in the conversation. "League Champion and one of the political leaders in Bilgewater."

Isaac was slightly taken back at that. He looked Miss Fortune over again.

She's a politician? Isaac thought, bewildered.

"She's a politician?" Mute's voice echoed in his helmet, also bewildered.

Thanks Mute... wait, she's also a League Champion?

Isaac was about to ask her about that, when Miss Fortune spoke first.

"So they say you're from another world huh?" She questioned him, taking a step forward in his direction as she did. "I wasn't sure if I believed it at first, but seeing that armor of yours in person, I believe it now."

She stopped approaching him when she was within arm's reach. "How much is that suit worth anyways?"

More than this entire piss-hole of a city is combined...

"Billions." Isaac responded.

Miss Fortune crossed her arms and made no effort to hide the fact she was looking him over again. She also stood a full head taller than him, but that might've been because of her boots. "Billions huh? So if I was to... relieve you of that armor, I could buy out the entire Bilgewater Union's council and never have to worry about anyone opposing me in politics again, wouldn't I?" She asked a rhetorical question.

Isaac rolled his eyes. I hope that was a poor attempt at humor. "Not going to happen lady..." He muttered.

"You never know..."Miss Fortune laughed. "Maybe I'll just charm you into bed with me and take it while you sleep." She smiled and winked at him. "After the sex of course."

Isaac was taken back. What the hell?

"Well THAT was sure direct." Mute chuckled.

Isaac shook his head in disbelief that he had just heard all that. "You're a politician... right?" Isaac was starting to doubt even that.

"Just because I'm in politics doesn't mean I don't know how to have a good time." Miss Fortune winked at him again.

"AHEM!" Vega cleared his throat very loudly. "Can we get back onto the subject?"

"Aww... sorry Archangel, maybe next time." Miss Fortune gave him a sad look and walked back to in between the two males she had come with, who Isaac guessed we're her bodyguards.

The hell is wrong with these people?

"Anyways..." Vega began, his voice now a bit more annoyed. "Archangel has a great deal of firsthand experience with the one who are likely responsible for your missing ships and people."

"Oh?" Miss Fortune raised an eyebrow and returned her attention to Isaac. "Please, do tell hon."

I'm NOT hon... Isaac mentally sighed at being called that. "There called the Ascension, and to make a long story short, there a massive military terrorist organization from my world."

Miss Fortune raised both eyebrows at that news. "From your world?"

Isaac nodded. "So I'm sure you can guess as to how advanced their weapons are."

Miss Fortune's gaze lowered to the wooden pier they stood on and bit her lower lip. "So then those lights in the sea and sky..."

"Are likely Ascension submarines and aircraft." Isaac finished, looking around at Bilgewater. He saw several ships with cannons that stood guard at seemingly random points around the city, and he saw a fair share of ironclads as well. "To be honest, your navy doesn't stand a chance. Those ironclads MIGHT be able to do some damage though."

Miss Fortune sighed and adjusted her hat. "Well you sure know how to bring morale down there hon..." She looked back up at him and Vega. "The problem isn't whether or not we can defend ourselves, its getting everyone in the Bilgewater Union's political council to agree on that we need to work together to stop this threat."

"Well, I can't imagine a council of pirates working together anyways..." Mute mumbled.

"We're here to help you deal with the problem of missing people." Vega interjected, "Not levy the political situation in your favor Sarah. The Institute of War doesn't involve itself in foreign politics."

"I know, I know... you would rather sit on your hands and do nothing..." Miss Fortune sighed, taking a shot at Vega in the process, which visibly irked the young summoner.

Isaac thought about the situation. If they were here to deal with the Ascension raiding Bilgewater's ships, how the hell were they supposed to do that right? The Ascension wasn't just going to conveniently come at them and reveal themselves. They were going to keep taking shots at ships out at the open sea where the odds of being caught were minimal. Not launch an attack on a defended city itself unless there was something to gain from it.

Not that this city could offer up a solid resistance anyways... Isaac looked around at the port city of Bilgewater again. The city was, for the most part, made of wood. And it was out in the open. All the Ascension had to do was launch a series of airstrikes at it and the city would be doomed.

So how do we deal with the Ascension then?

Isaac's train of thought was ceased when he heard his name being called again.

"Archangel?" He felt Vega tapping the armor on his shoulder.

"Oh? What?" Isaac replied, shaking his head lightly, "I was thinking, sorry."

"I said we'll be meeting with the Bilgewater Union's political council this afternoon." Vega nodded at Miss Fortune, who nodded back.

"Me?" Isaac didn't feel too good about that. His meeting with Irelia was tense enough as it was, but meeting with a council of pirates? That didn't sound appealing to him in the slightest.

Even more so I'm probably just going to go in and tell them all how screwed they are...

"Yes, you hon." Miss Fortune pointed at him. "If I can't convince everyone we need to work together to stop this... Ascension... then I need you there to help. Seeing how you've actually fought this enemy. Right?"

Isaac crossed his arms over his chest. "Fought a war with them, yes. From what I'm guessing though, this sounds like it's doomed to fail."

Miss Fortune shrugged. "Don't knock it till you try it. It might just work. We're desperate enough as it is thanks to the Harrowing."

"The Harrowing?" Isaac furrowed his brow. What the hell is that supposed to be?

"That's..." Vega rubbed the back of his neck. "Something to discuss another day..."

"Yes... it is." Miss Fortune turned to leave, motioning for her supposed bodyguards to follow. "I'll see you two just before the meeting then."

And with that, she and her duo guards left, leaving Isaac and Vega at the pier.

"So... Do you really think we can convince these pirates to work together? Will that even do anything?" Isaac asked the summoner, relaxing his posture.

Vega pinched the bridge of his nose. "I don't know... I'm starting to wonder why they didn't send someone more experienced them me to deal with this."

"I don't think they were planning on sending us to any political meetings when we set out." Mute responded, using Isaac's helmet's external speakers so that Vega could hear her.

"Ehh... You might be right. Whatever." Vega exhaled loudly and nodded. "Come on, Ezreal went ahead to get us some rooms at a tavern."

"What about Jinx?" Isaac asked as he followed after the summoner.

"I thought she was with you..."

"Oh good job you two!" Mute growled. "You let the lunatic off the leash... she could be up to anything out there!"

"Well I don't hear any explosions, so maybe she's just behaving herself?" Vega raised his arms up in question as he said that.

Isaac rolled his eyes. You honestly can't believe that...

Whispers in the Dark

Unknown Location

The room was dark, cold, and nearly void of everything. The only four things of note in the dark room was a desk with a chair, and a computer screen that rested on top. Across from the desk, was a large 80 inch screen that gave off the only source of light in the room.

To a lay person, the entire room would give off a feeling of dread, of cold, and of emotionless. But also a sense of power, or that this room war where decisions were made.

In the room's sole chair sat a tall Caucasian male, who seemed rather relaxed despite the cold feelings of the room. The man had a slender but muscular build, appearing that even though he was not bulky, he could take more punches then a world-renown boxer. His blonde hair was cut short, and his blonde beard was nicely trimmed. Combined with his choice of a black suit, to anyone he would appear to be a man in power.

And from the way he sat relaxed, with one foot up on his knee, holding a cigar in hand, and a drink in the other, anyone would say that he felt comfortable in power.

But no one would recognize that the well groomed man in his thirties was a devil in disguise. However, the eight faces that appeared in eight different boxes on the 80 inch screen knew otherwise.

Of course, the eight different faces were too busy bickering with each other to pay the man any attention as he thought deeply on their situation.

"... and if you had acted with a cooler head, we might've prevented this from occurring in the first place!" One of the faces, a male with greying hair at the sides, scowled as he lectured someone.

One of the other "faces" on screen shook her head, her expression and face hidden behind a white angelic/gothic style helmet. "There is no point on arguing what could have been, instead we should focus on the now."

"You LET them escape!"

The third face, a young Korean female with glasses cleared her throat to get everyone's attention. "As much as that is up for discussion, Siren is correct. We need to focus on our current situation."

"Yes," The forth face on the screen nodded, his face also hidden behind a helmet and visor that resembled one of the TRANS-Ops soldiers. "And that current situation is that our enemy has undoubtedly informed the local population of our presence."

"The meddling of those damn TRANS-Op soldiers has cost us our element of surprise." The older man with the greying hair mumbled.

"We were bound to lose it eventually, given how active we've been in this world." The Korean woman waved off. "So the question is, what do we do now?"

All eight faces, including those who had yet to involve themselves in the conversation stopped talking, and looked out at the screen, seemingly at the man who sat in his chair relaxed.

The well groomed man sighed. Indeed, it had been going so well, until those five TRANS-Ops soldiers had stumbled into this world. They had managed to keep one of them prisoner, but even she couldn't provide them with any information they didn't already know.

So how were they to deal with the new situation that the still free TRANS-Ops soldiers had complicated for them?

"Ladies and gentlemen..." The well groomed man spoke with a slight Italian accent. "I think it is time we played a little more of a… direct hand, in shaping our destiny here on Valoran. Until now, we had only been harvesting this world's resources and its people, but now I think we should start moving on with our plans."

"What do you plan, my lord?" Siren nodded to him, her addition of the words "my lord" caused a slight wave of annoyance of flow over the face of the man with the greying hair.

"I believe we need to step up, and show this world that we are not to be trifled with, that we should do something similar to that which we did on Earth those years ago."

"You want us to do another Ascension Day?" The fifth face, another woman with glasses though this one appeared more mature and had a Russian accent to her voice.

The well dressed man waved his cigar holding hand around dismissively. "Not quite on that scale, but something like that that will show our power, and hopefully eliminate this troublesome Archangel in the process."

"Archangel is in the hovel called Bilgewater, he arrived early today, along with the Champions Jinx and Ezreal, and a summoner." The spectacle wearing woman informed them.

The greying man nodded. "Aye, I think I know what you're getting at."

"Oh?" The man who clearly held all the power took a sip from his rum filled glass, savoring the taste. "Do tell."

"You want to hit Bilgewater, sending the world a message, and killing Archangel in the process."

"Are we truly ready to do something on that scale here?" The sixth face, a black male who's face and eyes showed his experience in battle.

"Given our current status... yes." The armored male nodded.

The well groomed man took a puff from his cigar, savoring that too. "Well, Commander Julius?"

The greying haired man nodded. "Aye, I'll see to it."

"Then that will be all for now friends... You may return to your duties, Commander Julius, please carry out the plan tonight."

"Understood sir." The man nodded and his face, along with everyone's aside from the Korean woman, Siren, and the armored male's faces vanished from the screen.

"How goes our army?" The man with the nice suit asked, his question directed at the glasses wearing woman.

"Ahead of schedule, although it is taking some more time then we planned to gather the arms and armor we will require."

"If you need to, divert other resources, that army is going to play an essential role. That will be all Miss Hoang." The blonde man nodded, and the woman with the glasses vanished from the screen. "How does our... Ionian friend fair?" He asked the armored male.

"He is suspicious, as he should be, but is willing to cooperate as long as we hold up our end of the bargain."

"Then we better hold up our end then, no?"

"I will request additional troops and aircraft then, we'll need them down the road if we wish to capture the powerful Ionian mage once he gives her up."

The blonde man took another puff of his cigar. "Granted, but do be cautious how you use our forces, I would like to refrain from drawing additional troops from our bases on Earth if need be."

The armored man nodded. "Understood sir."

"That will be all then."

"Yes sir." The man saluted. "Flammenschwert out." And the meta-human's face vanished from the screen.

Leaving only the angelic armored Siren onscreen.

The man took another sip from his rum. "Is there something you wish to speak about Siren? I do not believe you require anything further given your expertise."

"I would like to voice my opinion against the attack on Bilgewater as long as Archangel is there." The cold, feminine, metallic voice said.

"Ah yes... because you wish his head for yourself." The man nodded, understanding his lieutenant's request. "However, this is an unfortunate bed we are lying in, and it was made by your hasty and rash actions."

The armored female, whose face was always hidden under her helmet, shoulders drooped slightly at hearing that.

"Now I understand that you have a burning desire to kill this man, we cannot pass this chance up to remove this pest and send this world a message, since they are becoming aware of our existence." The man took another sip from his rum, pausing his speech before continuing. "However, if he is just the person you believe he is, I do not think he will perish in this attack."

"Then why do you order it?"

"Because it is too good a chance to pass up. And what good is intel if we don't use it?" The man set his glass back down onto his desk, as a quiet robotic vacuum made its way around his desk and sucked up the ashes from his lit cigar. "Nonetheless, on the chance he does survive, you will have your chance."

Siren nodded. "Yes my lord."

"Is there anything else?"

"No my lord."

"Then you may return to your duties."

"Of course my lord." Siren saluted, and the screen went black, eliminating the only source of light in the room.

The well groomed and dressed man took another puff f his cigar in the dark room, before tapping a button on his desk. In response, the wall behind him opened up, revealing a large window behind him. The man spun his chair around lazily and looked outside, rum glass in hand once again.

From his office, the man could see the spawning snow and ice covered lands of the Freljord all the way to the horizon. Not far off, the man glanced at the Gelid Vortex, a never-ending storm of snow and ice that resided in the far north of the Freljord.

The man looked out at the frozen wasteland, and thought deeply about his next move and the move after that, and the one after that.

From the Ascension's headquarters up top one of the Freljord's tallest mountains, Enzo Lefèvre planned, planned, and planned.

The Dragon's Den

Bilgewater City

"There… holding the meeting… here?" Isaac asked out loud in disbelief, looking the rather unimpressive building up and down from where he and Vega stood outside. "This is…"

Vega sighed. "A tavern… yes…"

Isaac planted his face into his armored gauntlet. He couldn't believe this. Sure he got the idea that Bilgewater was run down and basically an overgrown shack, but… holding an important meeting to discuss the future of the Bilgewater Union's safety in a tavern?

"Well… they ARE pirates…" Mute muttered. "Let's just hope there sober enough to understand what we have to tell them."

I'm not going to hold my breath…

Isaac looked to his right, glancing at Vega. "So… exactly what are we supposed to do at this meeting?"

Vega, who had been the only other one who had come with him to the meeting (Ezreal and Jinx remaining behind at their own tavern), scratched his chin. "We're supposed to give them all the answers to their questions. If we stand up there and say anything like I don't know, or I can't tell you that… they'll probably shoot us on the spot."

Isaac deadpanned at the summoner. "Well THAT'S real reassuring…." This armor of mine will probably block most of their primitive guns they use, but I don't want to test that theory.

Vega shrugged. "Well, that's how it is. Now, the League isn't very popular right now as you've noticed, so I'm going to be taking the backseat for most of this. Since you're the Ascension expert, you'll be on stand."

Isaac rolled his eyes and faced the tavern again. "Thanks for the support…"

"Sorry, not much I can do here."

"Whatever…" Isaac started to walk towards the tavern, which was starting to be illuminated by the setting sun. "Lets just get this over with."

He and the summoner entered the tavern. It was somewhat crowded, with all sorts of dirty sailors shouting and laughing at their tables and hitting on the bar-maids as they served them drinks. Isaac took a small whiff in though his nostrils and shook his head. Doesn't smell as bad in here as I thought it would.

"So where are we supposed to go in here?" He heard Vega ask him from behind. Isaac looked around, trying to spot a place that MIGHT have resembled a somewhat organized meeting, but he only saw drunks and soon-to-be drunks.

"Hey you!" He heard an angry shout behind him. "Don't hold up the door!"

"Oh! Sorry!" Vega responded, and Isaac felt someone push him to the side. He looked over his shoulder, annoyed, and saw that Vega had pushed himself and him out of the path of the door, earning a few angry looks from some sailors who had been trying to get in.

"Bloody mages…" One of the disgruntled sailors muttered just loud enough for them to hear as he walked by.

"I'm technically not a mage…" Vega muttered under his breath.

Isaac looked around again. Should we sit somewhere then? Before he could decide what to do, he spotted two tall burly men with cutlasses strapped around their waists standing guard at a door on the far side of the tavern.

That looks like our best bet. Isaac tapped Vega on the shoulder. "Follow me, I think I found it." He informed the young blonde summoner and waded his way through the busy tavern. As they approached the guarded door, Isaac spotted it opening, and from the other side, came a somewhat irritated looking Miss Fortune.

Bingo.

Miss Fortune looked around the bar as if trying to spot someone, her gaze only stopped wandering when her eyes "meet" with Isaac's. A second after he was spotted she waved them over with a slight grin.

"About time you two got here." She said to them as they approached.

"Sorry, weren't expecting the meeting to be in a busy bar." Isaac skeptically responded. I still can't believe they would be having this meeting here…

Unless it's a trap…

Isaac thought about it for a second, he would have to be cautious going into the next room. He was still armed with his blades and Jackhammer's pistol, but then again, he was guessing that regardless if it was going to be a meeting or not everyone on the other side of that door was probably armed.

Miss Fortune gave a snort to his last response. "This isn't Piltover boy, this is Bilgewater. Where did you expect us to hold a meeting full of pirates and traders?"

Well… when she puts it that way…

"So, has it begun?" Vega interjected.

Miss Fortune's amused face changed to one of annoyance. "Yah, and there already bickering like always. Eager to pin the blame on the Harrowing, or one other another and pirates."

"Isn't nearly everyone in this city a pirate?" He heard Mute mutter. Her avatar wasn't visible right now so he imagined that she was likely rolling her eyes.

"So what do you want us to do exactly?" Isaac asked. "Try to convince them that the Ascension's the bad guy and not pirates?"

"Well if you just drop the name "Ascension" on everyone, I doubt it'll have a lot of effect. So you're going to have to go into detail." Miss Fortune put her hands on her hips and shrugged, making a lop-sided expression that made it look like none of this was her problem. "Well, not that anyone in that meeting room is going to have much patience for long explanations anyways, so try to keep it short."

Isaac rolled his neck to the side, feeling another urge to roll his eyes. "So you want me to explain just how danger this enemy is in a short manner, and without just dropping it on them?"

Miss Fortune shrugged again. "Basically. Of course, just dropping the bomb on them might work too… but hey, think of it as trying to convince an angry mob that their wrong."

"That is anything but reassuring…" Mute mumbled.

Agreed…. This is already sounding like a massive waste of time.

He felt a hand on his shoulder, and glanced back to see Vega giving him a reassuring smile. "Good luck."

"Thanks…" Isaac responded half-heartily, he couldn't tell if the summoner was being sarcastic or sincere.

Whatever… let's get this over with…

"Ready?" Miss Fortune asked.

Isaac nodded in response.

The bounty hunter turned on heel and pushed the door open and walked in. As soon as she opened the door, Isaac could already hear several loud bickering voices.

Oh boy… this is going to suck… He thought as he followed Miss Fortune into the meeting.

"All right everyone settle down. The man of the hour is here!" Miss Fortune shouted as Isaac entered the room.

The room shared the same run-down appearance as the rest of the city, with everything being made of wood with the odd piece of stone here and there. There was a single, large, round table in the center of the room with twelve chairs, all but one occupied. However, instead of having a matching number of people to the chairs, there were at least twenty to thirty people in the room, the vast majority being male. Everyone had a weapon of sorts on them, from cutlasses to pistols, and one of the females even had a rifle.

Everyone was dressed like a pirate, a merchant, or a sailor. Some people had visible tattoos; some of the males had their shirts unbuttoned as did some of the females. Most of them looked like they had seen some form of battle in their lives, even some of the merchants. Isaac also spotted someone in the back corner of the room who was wearing robes that closely resembled Vega's.

All of them, however, stopped there bickering and focused their attention on Isaac the moment he walked in; which made him feel rather uncomfortable.

Talk about being put on the spot.

Isaac took no more than six steps into the room (about four feet from the round table) when he heard the door close behind him. He came to a stop and scanned everyone's faces. Everyone single person in the room was looking at him, sizing him up. Some had interested looks, some had surprised looks, others seemed bored , and others looked at him as if he was nothing more than an intruder.

The silence though, was awkward.

Do I say something? I doubt a wave and an introduction will do anything other than make me look like a fool here…

Thankfully, he didn't have to break the silence. A pirate on the far side of the table from him with a brown pirate hat, a red overcoat, white shirt, and blue pants did it for him.

"So… yer that outworlder Archangel eh?" The pirate addressed him with a thick stereotypical pirate accent. "I thought ye be taller!" The disgruntled pirate's brown bearded face broke into a mocking grin and a scoff.

Oh please…. Not that again…

Isaac looked around the room again, noticing that Miss Fortune had taken a seat at the one open chair at the round table. The faces around the room seemed to agree with the pirate who called out to him and made mocking expressions.

Better take this cautiously, but still showing a degree of power. From what Isaac knew about pirates, the only thing they respected was wealth and power. And since he didn't have any of the former, he better show the latter.

Isaac took another two steps toward the table, until he was within arm's reach of the two figures with their backs turned to him but looking up at him.

"That's right…" Isaac responded, voice calm. "I'm the outworlder." He glanced around the room again, still keeping a careful eye on each person in the room. "And I hear you all have a problem with missing ships and people?"

"That's correct." A flamboyantly dressed merchant with a fat belly and gold teeth who sat at the table responded. "As does the rest of the world I've heard."

"And we've heard from a certain someone…" A young black haired woman with an eye patch and a rifle slung over her back nodded to Miss Fortune, "That you might have a few answers for us."

"So…" The red coated pirate who addressed him first edged him on, "Spit er out lad."

Patient lot…

"The ones who are most likely responsible for your missing ships are called the Ascension." Isaac nodded. So much for not dropping it on them suddenly. "And there from my world."

There was a whole second of silence around the room before another pirate, this one an older man with a blue coat and a black beard, scoffed at him. "From another world ye say? Hah!" The man leaned back in his chair and turned to Miss Fortune, mocking smile and all. "This ere the best you can do Sarah? Invaders from another world?"

Miss Fortune rested her elbows on the table and rolled her eyes. "Well explain the lights in the sky and in the sea Fredrick. I think invading force from an advanced alien world is as good an explanation as ghosts as most of you seem to believe it is. The Harrowing can't be responsible for every wrong doing that happens to the Bilgewater Union."

"The Harrowing is likely the true culprits behind all this." Another pirate-looking man at the table shouted out.

"Only the ships are going missing between us and the mainland, not between the Islands and the Shadow Isles!" Miss Fortune argued back.

"It's still a better explanation then alien invaders." The fat merchant scoffed. Several others around the room nodded in agreement.

Well this is already going nowhere quickly… what the hell is this Harrowing thing anyways?

Best not to ask that now though…

Isaac looked around the room again, scanning everyone's faces in case things got hostile towards him. He noticed that the red coated pirate hadn't taken his eyes off him once since he entered the room, seemingly ignoring the arguing around him.

"What makes ye so certain that it be this Ascension boy?" The red pirate asked loudly, getting everyone's attention again.

Isaac felt the urge to sigh. "To be honest, I'm not a hundred percent sure because I haven't seen any of your ships get wiped out. But at Piltover we encounter an Ascension submarine that had holding cells for prisoners, and had kidnapped someone moments before we fought them."

"A submarine ye say?" The red pirate raised an eyebrow. That line seemed to get more people's attention.

Isaac nodded. "Yes, which would explain the lights in the water your survivors claimed to have seen." Isaac crossed his arms over his chest, trying to appear relaxed in front of the assembly of pirates and sailors in front of him. "And the lights in the sky would be explained by the fact that the Ascension also processes advanced aircraft that could blow one of your wooden ships up with a single shot."

Some of the pirates and sailors who were not seated at the table exchanged whisper with one another.

"And why should we believe…" The black haired woman with the rifle raised an eyebrow at him. "That it really is this Ascension and not the Shadow Isles?"

"I don't have any idea what this Harrowing is or what the Shadow Isles are." Isaac shrugged, "But I can tell you right now, that if the Ascension was to attack tonight, tomorrow, or next month, Bilgewater wouldn't stand a chance." Isaac snorted. "Your cities are nothing but target practice to them."

As soon as those words left Isaac's mouth, he got a reaction from just about everyone in the room. Several of the merchants had a look of fear wash over them. Most of the pirates seemed angered by his words and started shouting insults at Isaac. The younger black haired woman with the eye patch exchanged glances with Miss Fortune, while the black breaded pirate with the blue coat scowled at Isaac.

The pirate with the red coat simply kept a straight face and his arms crossed, his eyes never moving an inch from Isaac.

Through the corner of his eye, Isaac spotted Vega, face-palming.

If Vega's face-palming… Isaac sighed, looking around at the angry faces that were turned in his direction. Then I think I might have fucked that one up…

Got them to stop bickering with each other though…

"Good one Isaac…" He heard Mute sigh. "Real diplomatic."

Shut up Mute… I was aiming for getting a reaction from them…

"Enough of this outworlder dog!" One of the pirates, a large man without a shirt on who had been sitting at the table, bolted up from his chair and glared at Isaac. "You think you can come in here and insult us?!" He shouted at Isaac, getting everyone's attention, even the pirate in the red coat finally looked away from Isaac and at this large enraged man.

Isaac opened his mouth to say something, but before he could, the man drew his cutlass from his belt.

"Then you better prepare yourself for a painful death boy!" The large man jumped onto the table, and leapt at Isaac, swinging his sword savagely as everyone in the room started shouting again.

As soon as the man had drawn his blade, Isaac was ready. He leapt back three feet, causing the enraged pirate to slash at open air and land right where Isaac was half a second ago. The shirtless pirate, who was at least two feet taller than Isaac, snarled and charged at him again. Behind the attacker, Isaac spotted several of the people sitting at the table, including Miss Fortune, get to their feet, shouting at him to stop.

He's not listening…

Guess I'm doing this the hard way.

Isaac readied himself to the man's charge. Now that they were on even ground, Isaac knew he could handle this overconfident man easily.

As the cutlass swung downwards at his head, trying to split it down the center, Isaac back stepped again, causing the blade to miss him. As it slashed the open air in front of him, Isaac lashed his left hand out and grabbed the back end of the cutlass with inhuman dexterity. With a sudden and hard jerk, he twisted the cutlass upwards, causing it to come loose in the man's grip. As he pulled the weapon free, Isaac drove his right fist at his attacker's chest.

Now, the man had a very muscular chest and he was much larger then Isaac, so an average man his height would've probably done more damage to his own hand then his opponent's chest. However, Isaac was anything but a normal human. His bones and muscles had been enhanced through unethical bio-engineering. That, combined with the fact that he was wearing an advanced suit of armor, meant that he had little to worry about his own personal safety when punching.

His fist slammed into his surprised opponent's chest, and the sound of breaking bones echoed in the room.

The man's momentum (that had been used against him) came to a stop. He stumbled backwards, coughing up blood onto the wooden floor, and fell back against the table, slamming his back into the side of it.

Aside from the cough and the sound of the pirate falling backwards, the room was silent. Nearly everyone had a surprised look on their face when they realized that Isaac has, with a single punch, just downed someone at least two feet taller than himself.

Isaac's mind raced. He knew that the man he just downed likely had friends in the room, so he had to make sure they didn't try to fight him.

I need to avoid killing anyone here, that'll just make this whole trip worthless.

So he needed to get a point across that he was not to be messed with. Pirates respected strength after all.

Isaac narrowed his eyes and focused on the dark matter in the room. Carefully and quickly, he brought the dark energy around him into his body, using it to strengthen and reinforce his already reinforced muscles. However, as he did so, he felt the muscles in his body burn with a painful sensation from having the energy melded into his body.

He gripped the blade of the man's cutlass with both hands, and with a single hard twist of both his arms, snapped the blade in half with a loud crack.

As soon as the deed was done, Isaac relaxed his body and felt the dark matter leave him, but the pain still lingered in his body.

Isaac dropped both halves of the cutlass to the floor, causing a clanging sound as they hit the wood he stood on.

"Alright…" Isaac spoke confidently and calmly, loud enough for everyone in the suddenly quiet room to hear. "I've fought an entire war with the Ascension and have seen just about everything they can throw at the human race. So let's NOT try that again… ok?"

No one responded to his question. Most of the people around the room still appeared to be in shock. Miss Fortune had a slight grin on her face, as did the woman with the rifle. The pirate with the red coat, hadn't moved an inch, and still sat in his chair with his arms crossed.

His expression that he was constantly looking at Isaac with, however, had changed from a mocking one to an amused one.

The man who he had injured coughed up more blood and spat it at Isaac, the red liquid landing on Isaac's boots.

"Gross…" Mute muttered.

"Outworlder scum…" The large shirtless man growled at Isaac from where he slouched against the wooden table, one arm holding him up against it, and the other gripping his injured chest.

"Someone, take out the trash please?" Miss Fortune chuckled. On cue, the pirates sitting on either side of where the man had fallen back against got up and helped the man out of the room.

"Well now… the name's Gangplank laddy…" The brown breaded pirate with the red coat uncrossed his arms and rested his elbows on the table, clasping his hands together. "Tell us a bit more 'bout this ere Ascension…" The pirate named Gangplank's face broke into a cruel smile. "Preferably, how we beat these land-lubbers."

Isaac mentally breathed a sigh of relief. Finally, he was getting somewhere. He took a few steps forward so that he was back to where he was before the fight had broken out. "To start, you're going to need more of those..." Isaac pointed to the rifle that was strapped around the black haired woman's back. "Some underwater mines and some more of those ironclads I saw outside…"

Accusations

Bilgewater City, near the docks

"You know…" Vega began as they neared the tavern/inn that Ezreal had rented out rooms for them in, "When you told them how screwed Bilgewater was, I thought it was over for sure."

"Yeah that was real diplomatic…" Mute chuckled.

Isaac rubbed the back of his neck and chuckled nervously. "Yeah… that wasn't my best choice of words."

"And then that guy attacked you… which somehow turned out to be in our favor in that meeting."

Isaac nodded in response. Pirates respect power, and I was able to show that I had that.

The pair opened the door to the inn and glanced around. Unlike the tavern where the meeting had been held, this one was sparsely populated, and it didn't take long for Isaac to spot a certain oddly dressed blonde explorer sitting at the bar counter, writing something down on a piece of paper.

Isaac motioned towards Ezreal for Vega, and the two made their way over. As they got closer, Isaac peered over Ezreal's shoulder to see what he was writing. More journal logs, it's like he's writing a book or something on everything we do…

"We're back." Vega exhaled, clearly relaxed now that they weren't in that meeting and in friendly company. As the young summoner took a seat on Ezreal's right, the explorer looked up from his work and smiled.

"Welcome back guys," He greeted them, and then turned to Isaac who was taking a seat on his opposite side. "How'd the meeting go?"

"Well…" Vega smiled sheepishly. "Archangel only got attacked by one pirate in there."

Ezreal's eyes widened. "Wait, what?"

Isaac shook his head and let out a brief sigh. "Long story short Ez, we conceived Bilgewater that the Ascension is behind the abductions and they're going to strengthen their fleet to defend themselves."

Ezreal raised an eyebrow. "Ok….. how does success come from getting into a fight?"

The bartender walked over to the trio. "Can I get you guys anything?" He asked, also having some sort of pirate accent.

"Yeah, I'll have…" Isaac opened his visor up and exposed his face to the outside world, before looking at Ezreal's drink. "What he's having."

Ezreal tried, and failed, to stifle a quick laugh. Isaac threw the blonde champion a "fuck off" look, and didn't catch what Vega ordered for his drink.

"So…. What happened with this fight?" Ezreal asked as Isaac received his drink.

Isaac took a sip of his drink out of the glass and felt a slight burn in his throat. Its… rum… Isaac savored it; it had been a long time since he had any kind of rum.

"You drink rum?" Isaac asked the explorer. He hadn't expected someone like Ezreal do be much of a drinker.

"Well, Bilgewater IS famous for their rum, so it would be a waste not to have some while I'm here." Ezreal responded. "But, rum aside, what happened?"

"Well, it happened like…" Isaac began as he scratched his exposed cheek, which he had been dying to do for some time now.

But before he could explain, he felt someone jump on his back.

"Archi!" Jinx's over enthusiastic voice came from the figure on his back. Isaac yelped in surprise as he grabbed the bar counter, trying not to fall backwards as Jinx wrapped her arms around him and pulled him backwards.

"Jinx?!" Isaac barked, "What the hell are you doing?!"

"Hmm?" Came the innocent but manic sounding reply. "Oh nothing." Isaac felt the weight on his back vanish, and looked to his side. The long blue haired lunatic took a seat next to him, giving him her signature crazy smile. "Come on now, you know you like it!" She laughed.

Isaac rolled his eyes and turned back to his drink, throwing a glance at Ezreal and Vega. The duo had turned away from him and started a conversation on their own. Their message to him was clear.

Jinx was his problem now.

Jerks…

"So? So? So?" He felt a frantic tapping on his right shoulder and he turned back to face Jinx and her crazy smile. "How'd the meeting with all those idiots and boring morons go?"

That's one way to refer to politicians… just not pirate politicians.

"It… went alright." Isaac replied, still unsure of how to handle the crazy woman he invited to come along with them. "Only had to fight one of them."

Jinx clapped her hands together in excitement. "You got into a fight at a political meeting?! That's AWESOME! I bet that helped everything!"

Isaac rolled his eyes. Had anyone else told him that, he would've labeled it as total sarcasm. But given the smile on Jinx's face, he knew she was serious. "Not really…" Isaac mumbled, before pausing and remembering the aftermath of the fight. "Oh wait, it actually did…"

"See? See!" Jinx clapped her hands together again. "No need for all that political bullshit and neatness! Anarchy solves everything!"

Isaac shook his head and took another sip from his drink. Only in Jinx's world…

A brief silence fell between them, the only words spoken being Jinx's to the bartender to order her own drink. Ezreal and Vega were wrapped up in their own conversation, and Isaac took a moment to think about what was next on the agenda.

We've handled the problem in Bilgewater and Piltover… so where are we going to be sent now?

Those Ionian soldiers who had escorted them to the port city were still docked, so Isaac was thinking about tagging along with them back to Ionia.

From what Irelia was telling me, it sounds like Ionia is neck-deep in trouble… maybe we should head back there and lend her a hand.

His thoughts were interrupted by a frantic tapping on his shoulder again. Isaac turned to see that it was once again Jinx tapping him like a little kid who was trying to get his mom's attention.

"Archi! Archi!" Jinx called to him over and over again by the nickname she had given him.

"What?" Isaac asked, setting his drink back down on the counter.

"What do we do now?" Jinx asked. "Do we FINNALY get to blow something up?"

World safety verse blowing stuff up… anyone else would have the right priorities… Jinx on the other hand…

Isaac shrugged. "Not sure… Vega is probably going to get more orders soon."

"Ugh!" Jinx overly dramatically rolled her eyes and leaned on the bar with both arms as if to put emphasizes on her boredom. "More jobs for the goody-two-shoes summoners. You know Archi, I came along for some enjoyment! Some fun! And sure pestering all you is fun, but all we've done is travel, no action!" Jinx sighed, stirring her drink with the straw provided to her as she spoke.

Wow… never seen her look that down… Isaac felt a bit bad for the lunatic. Of course, he also felt worried that if Jinx didn't have some source of entertainment, she would start shooting random things.

"Well…" Isaac tried to pick his words a bit more carefully. "When the Ascension makes its move, you'll have all the action you can dream of." He eyed Jinx for a reaction, and saw her perk up a bit at the thought of combat. "But… for tonight, I don't think we're going to be seeing any action…" Isaac added at the end.

Jinx sighed. "Awww… but I wanted some action TONIGHT!" She paused, threw her straw away, and proceeded to down her entire drink in a single gulp.

Whoa…. Isaac looked the skinny, barely clothed girl over. How can that tiny of a body hold… well… anything… Isaac had seen Jinx eat; she downed everything that was handed to her like a little kid with chocolate. How the hell was she not gaining a single pound?

With a satisfied "ahhhh" Jinx slammed her glass on the table and looked ahead, as if thinking.

If she's thinking… that scares me…

And to Isaac's horror, Jinx's expression changed from one of deep thought, to a mischievous grin. She glanced over at Isaac, looked him up and down, and her grin grew into a full on crazy smile.

She's got something planed… I don't like this…

"That… can't be good…" Isaac heard the abnormally quiet Mute mutter in his earpiece.

"Soooo…." Jinx began with her voice full of enthusiasm. "We're doing nothing tonight?" She asked somewhat innocently. Jinx reached down to one of her hair's long braided tails and started to twirl it around.

"Uhh…" Isaac mumbled, knowing he had to choose his words wisely. "Yeah… were just taking it easy tonight…"

"Well then!" Jinx gave a quick, quiet laugh that sent a shiver down Isaac's spine. "Since we not going to be having any action for a bit…" She suddenly leaned over onto the counter and moved towards Isaac, resting her head on her arms and looking up at him with a dangerous grin. "Why don't WE have some action tonight?"

Isaac rolled his eyes. He wasn't going to fall into one o f Jinx's traps for what she called "fun". "We're not blowing anything up here." Isaac declared with authority.

That's the LAST thing I need right now right after convincing the Bilgewatains that the Ascension are the bad guys. Isaac thought as he took another sip from his drink.

"Pffph! I know that!" Jinx chuckled. She pushed herself off the counter and leaned even closer to Isaac, totally invading his personal space. "I meant… "Jinx's voice suddenly dropped to a whisper, full of malicious intent. "When those two goody-two-shoes next to you go to bed… the two of US have some action!" Isaac's skin started to crawl as he saw Jinx get even closer, and felt her breath on his right ear. "…. In your bed tonight."

Isaac was totally taken aback, suddenly coughing up his drink and spat it out all over the bar counter. Ezreal and Vega broke from their own conversation to turn around and give Isaac a questioning look. The bartender appeared less than impressed with the new mess, and Jinx reeled back, howling with high pitched laughter.

Wh-wh-wh-what the fuck!? Where did that come from?!

Isaac wiped his mouth with an armored arm, apologizing to the bartender for the mess, and throwing a look at Ezreal and Vega that silently told them NOT TO ASK.

They got the hint, and returned to their conversation.

"That was weird…" Isaac heard Ezreal mumble before zoning out on whatever else they were talking about.

Isaac turned his attention back to the cause of his embarrassment. Jinx was holding her sides and laughing loudly.

"You…" Isaac growled. "You did that on purpose…"

"Y-y-ep!" Jinx managed to get out between laughs. Isaac scowled, still embarrassed by the ordeal, and asked the bartender for a new drink. The bartender looked like he wanted to say no, but poured him a new one anyways.

After a minute, Jinx's laughing fit died down and she wiped a tear from her eye. "Oh man… that was PRICELESS!"

Isaac rolled his eyes, taking a sip from his new drink and swallowing it quickly, in case the crazy girl said something strange again.

"But…" Jinx's face resumed her evil smile and she leaned over towards him again. "I didn't get an answer…"

Isaac turned his head to look at Jinx, only to realize their faces were about half a foot away from each other. "Wait…. You were serious?" Isaac asked, a bit shocked.

"Duh!" Jinx replied, voice still a dangerous whisper. "If I can't blow anything up, we might as well have something just as fun right? Well… almost as fun."

Isaac blinked. He was at a loss for words.

"Wow… she's direct…" He heard Mute mutter. "What is with people and sex today?"

Not now Mute…

Before he could say anything, Jinx suddenly leaned back away from him and started twirling one of her braids again. "Besides…" She began, still grinning, although Isaac could now see some lust in her eyes. "I've seen what kind of body you've got packing under that suit. Sure it's all scarred and scratched up, but I like that. And, those abs you got."

Isaac felt his face go red. In truth, he was still a bit self-conscious about all the scars that covered his body head to toe, some from his days as an experiment in Halcyon's labs, some from the countless fights he had been in. Never, had anyone called his scars anything close to "attractive".

Even Kasumi hadn't said that…

"What?" He heard Jinx ask him. Her face turned into a slight pout. "Why are you quiet?" She leaned forward, until their faces were inches apart. "You've got a total crazy girl proposing some fun time in a bed together, and you're quiet?"

"Did you just call yourself crazy?" Isaac asked. Of all the things to say… why to go Isaac…

Jinx's face suddenly turned half serious. "What? I've got a doctor's note."

. Wait what, Huh?

Before either of them could say another word, the door to the tavern suddenly flew open, loudly. Isaac turned away from Jinx to see what the sudden commotion was about, only to see eight men enter the tavern.

And at the front of the group of newcomers, was someone Isaac faintly recognized from the meeting with the political heads of Bilgewater earlier in the night.

"Archangel…" He heard his name come from the lead man, a pirate that appeared in his forties with a blue coat and a black beard called him. "I've got a few words for ye…"

Uh oh…

Isaac sat up straight in his chair, pushing the conversation he was just having with Jinx out of his mind. The lunatic in question rolled her eyes and muttered something about "the mood being killed" before turning around to order a new drink.

What mood? There was no mood…

Isaac shook his head slightly and pushed those thoughts out of his mind again. As the pirate and his entourage approached him, Isaac noticed that while the pirate from the meeting came right up to him, the other seven spread out, encircling them around the bar.

The other patrons in the bar all ceased there talking and turned to see what the commotion was about.

"So… enjoying some of er rum after a victory eh?" The black breaded pirate, who Isaac remembered Miss Fortune calling Fredrick at the meeting.

"Is there something you need?" Isaac asked, right to the point. Although, he was quite sure they were here to pick a fight. He turned around on his bar stool so that he was facing the older man, so that Jinx was on his left, and Ezreal and Vega on his right.

"Yeah…" Fredrick nodded, his expression quickly turned sour. "Ye think ye can just wander in ere, in er city and boss us 'round?"

"I'm not bossing anyone around, just telling you how it is." Isaac replied, his own tone getting dark. He's here to pick a fight; why else would he bring so much muscle?

Isaac glanced at the other seven men who had casually surrounded them. Each man seemed either eager, or nervous. It was clear what they intended to do.

Fredrick scoffed. "So, ye think ye can just insult us eh?" The elder pirate crossed his arms over his chest. "I'll bet… since ye look like it with yer black armor, that ye be part of the Harrowing!"

Isaac blinked, a bit surprised at the accusation. "The Harrowing? You think part of that?" Isaac's hands went out to his sides, palms up in the air as he shook his heads. "I don't even know what the Harrowing is!"

Fredrick laughed, but his laugh was full of scorn. "Sure ye don't… ye just be telling those paranoid fools at the council whatever bullshit that would convince them!"

Isaac shook his head. This guy…. Actually believes that!

It was then, Isaac knew that nothing he said or did would be able to avoid the incoming fight.

"So… I think it's best if ye left our city." The pirate grinned. "Now!"

That was the signal, and Isaac knew it. His hand shot up and quickly closed his visor over his face. As he did, he heard a yelp to his left.

Isaac quickly glanced to his left, and saw that one of Fredrick's goons had put Vega in a head lock from behind, and another two were making a grab as Ezreal.

Before Isaac could say anything, he felt a chill go down his spine, and quickly looked back towards Fredrick. One of the pirates who had come with Fredrick had a club, and was rearing back to swing it at Isaac's head.

Oh shit.

On reflex, Isaac dropped out of his seat and ducked, causing the club to miss him.

These guys haven't clued in from the meeting, that I'm faster than the average human…

As the club passed over Isaac's head, he grabbed the man by the wrist and pulled back on it, bringing his free hand forward. With an open palm, he slammed his hand into the back of his attack's elbow, while pulling the arm in the opposite direction. The joint snapped loudly, and his attacker screamed in pain. Seizing the chance, Isaac maintained his grip on the man's arm and shot out with his right leg, kicking the man square in the stomach. As the injured sailor doubled over, Isaac yanked on the arm he had been gripping, pulling the man towards him. As the man tumbled towards Isaac, he delivered a hard knock-out punch to the side of the man's head, sending him to the ground with a thud.

Isaac let go of his downed opponent and got into a fighting stance, facing Fredrick, whose expression only got darker.

As if on some hidden cue, the other four men that had come with the angry pirate charged at him.

"HELL YES!" Isaac heard Jinx shout. "BAR FIGHT!" The anoxic jumped up onto the bar counter and leaped off at one of the men charging at Isaac, her boots smashing the attacker in the face. As the two fell to the ground with Jinx on top, and she wasted no time; the blue haired girl started feeding the poor attacker left and right hooks to his face.

To Isaac's right, Vega still struggled with the head lock he had been put in, while Ezreal kicked one of his attackers in the groin, trying to keep the other large man away from him.

Isaac wanted to help them, but he had three attackers of his own coming at him.

While Fredrick, stood back with his arms cross, grinning.

Guess we're seeing some action after all tonight Jinx…

Isaac quickly reached behind him and grabbed his still half full glass of rum, and threw it at one of his attackers. The glass smashed into the man's face, spraying its contents in his eyes. The attacker shouted something and came to a halt, trying to furiously wipe his eyes.

That's one.

The other two, however, had reached him in time. One of the men grabbed Isaac's right arm, while the other, holding something akin to brass knuckles, aimed a punch at his face.

Isaac ducked down to dodge the punch aimed at his head, but the man on his right had a firm grip on his right arm. Ok then… Isaac quickly thought back on something his teacher had once told him.

"In a fist fight, remember, anything goes."

True to his trainer's words, Isaac punched the man to his right with his free hand.

Right in the testicles.

The grip on his right arm vanished, and the attacker dropped to the ground like a sack of rice, howling in pain.

That's two.

The other attacker however, didn't waiver, and his knee managed to connect with the side of Isaac's head.

Damn it! Isaac cursed as his head rattled inside his helmet from the force. As his vision went dizzy from the blow, he heard his attacker grunt in pain from having his boney knee connect with his hard helmet.

Although dizzy from the blow, Isaac stood up quickly, twisting his body and raising his right fist as he did. A combination of his strength, armored fist, and momentum equaled to him delivering a harsh uppercut to his last attacker's chin. There was a cracking sound from the man's head, and he too dropped to the ground.

That's three.

Although still slightly dizzy, Isaac got back into a ready stance and faced the attacker's leader, only to see that Fredrick had been put into a headlock from behind by another tavern patron.

Huh? Isaac looked around. The fight that Fredrick had started had quickly spread to the entire tavern. Everyone had just started fighting with each other, causing the entire establishment to become one giant bar fight.

"Why is it…" Mute half sighed half yelled. "That everywhere we go, shit hits the fan?"

"I'm starting to wonder that myself…" Isaac mumbled, but his conversation with Mute was cut short when he spotted someone at another table throwing a beer bottle at him. Isaac bashed the oncoming object out of the air, shattering it. Thank God I've got this suit on… If he had done that with his bare hands, he'd probably have glass stuck in his knuckles.

Isaac turned around and grabbed the bar stool he had been sitting on, and with a heave, he threw it at the man who had thrown the bottle at him some ten feet away. The drunken man who had chucked the beer bottle at him clearly hadn't been expecting Isaac's inhuman strength given his somewhat slender body that the meta-human had.

The man raised his arms in defense, but the wooden bar stool slammed into his body, shattering, and sending the man backwards onto a table behind him.

That takes care of him… Isaac thought at looked around the tavern, trying to figure out what the hell had become of the place. Everywhere drunks were fighting with each other. Fredrick, the cause of all this, was still struggling with the headlock he had been put into. Jinx had gotten off the man she had jumped on (who was now lying in the ground with his eyes rolled back into his head) and was fighting some other random patron with her usual crazy smile.

To Isaac's right, Vega was also struggling with the attacker who had put him in a headlock. Ezreal was having the worst time dealing with the two men that had attacked him. Although Ezreal, still seating in his bar stool, was kicking his legs out, keeping the two men at bay, one of them grabbed his foot and pulled him off the chair with a loud thud and groan of pain.

Better help him…

Isaac leapt to the right, wrapping his arms around the closest and largest of Ezreal's two attackers. As he sailed through the air, Isaac pulled the man down backwards with him. As Isaac's rear hit the floor he grunted, but pulled the man's head downwards, and used the momentum he gained, slammed the back of the man's head on the wooden floor.

Ohh… I hope I didn't kill him… Isaac suddenly thought, he underestimated his own strength for a second there. He glanced down at his victim and was thankful there was no blood on the floor. But the man was very clearly out cold.

Well… he kind of deserved it… Isaac's thoughts were pulled out of him when he heard Ezreal groan. He looked up and saw that Ezreal's last attacker had punched him in the face, and although the young explorer was trying to fend for himself, he was clearly having a rough time of it.

Isaac planted his hands on the wooden floor and twirled his legs around, connecting a hard kick to the shins of Ezreal's last attacker. The man grunted and took a step away from the blonde, turning to glare at Isaac, who had already gotten back to his feet.

The pissed off man savagely swung at Isaac, but the meta-human blocked it and countered by punching the man in the gut, causing the man to lurch forwards and gag from having the wind knocked out of him. Isaac didn't let up, he grabbed the man by the back of his head and brought it downwards, bringing his own knee up to meet it. There was a painful sound of Isaac's armored knee meeting the man's forehead, and the man went limp instantly, falling backwards in a heap.

Another one down.

Isaac looked down to Ezreal. "You ok?" He asked, having to raise his voice loud enough to get over the sounds over everyone fighting. Ezreal gripped the side of his face where he had been punched, and although clearly in pain, nodded lightly to Isaac. "Bar fights aren't my thing…" He mumbled.

I noticed…

A few feet from Ezreal, Isaac saw Vega finally manage to break free of the headlock he had been in by repeatedly elbowing his attacker in the ribs. As soon as the lock ended, Vega grabbed a beer bottle off the counter and smashed it over his attacker's head.

"Fuck off!" Vega shouted, clearly pissed off. The summoner turned to face Isaac, the anger clear on his face. "Did I ever mention how I HATE IT HERE?!"

"Archangel!" Isaac heard his name being shouted by a very angry pirate. He turned around and saw Fredrick having wrestled free from his own headlock, with a cutlass drawn and a clear expression of rage.

The pirate walked towards him slowly, cutlass out and ready. "Ye piece of shit!" He bellowed at Isaac and made ready to swing at him with his blade.

Isaac quickly drew one of his own blades, in reverse grip, and blocked the overhand swing, a loud clang echoing in the tavern as metal clashed against metal.

I'm done with this shit…

Rather than draw a second blade and finish the blue coated pirate off, Isaac lashed out with his leg far from his opponent, and kicked Fredrick square in the balls.

The pirate yelped and dropped to his knees, dropping his weapon in the process. As he fell to the ground, Isaac drew his free hand back and brought it forward. Hard.

His punch connected with Fredrick's temple with a loud smack, and the older pirate dropped backwards, unmoving.

"Asshole…" Isaac muttered, annoyed with the whole situation. He looked up and saw that just about everyone had ceased fighting. Well, everyone who was still standing and the few who hadn't taken part in the fighting.

"Now that!" Jinx laughed as she walked back over to Isaac. "Was FUN!" She rested her hands on her hips and smiled. "Not quite as fun as blowing stuff up, but still, a good bar fight always feels good."

Isaac was about to say something, when he heard a groan. He looked down at the floor and saw the man he had first punched in the groin when he was fighting off the two attackers at once, crawling on the ground, moaning in pain.

Jinx paused and looked down at the poor man. She looked back up at Isaac with a questioning look.

"What?" Isaac shrugged, he had no idea what she was trying to say. Knowing Jinx, it could be any-

"Guess I'll do it." Jinx shrugged and responded, and immediately kicking the crawling man in the jaw with her boot, making him go limp as he fell back onto the floor.

"I don't think that was necessary…" Mute sighed.

Isaac heard a loud "ahem" from behind and he turned around to face the bar, where the bartender was leaning against the wall with his arms crossed and chin lowered, glaring at Isaac.

Uh-oh… Isaac sheepishly grinned under his helmet and looked around. The tavern had been totally trashed with the exception of a few chairs and tables. Various men, and a few women, lied on the ground knocked out cold, while a few stumbled back to their feet and chairs.

We…. Totally trashed the place….

"Uhh…" Isaac nervously chuckled and looked back to the bartender. "Sorry about… your place…"

The bartender said nothing and simply glared at Isaac. After a few seconds, the older man sighed. "I know that that overly paranoid Fredrick caused all this, and I'll be taking it up with him later…" The man's expression softened slightly, and pushed off of the wall, arms still crossed and eyes fixed on Isaac. "But, I'm billing you for that chair you threw."

Isaac cringed slightly, he wasn't sure about his group's finical situation, but he couldn't argue with what the bartender said.

"Oh, and one more then." The bartender added before reaching down behind the bar counter. He came up with two brooms, throwing one to Isaac and the other to Vega.

"You helped make that mess. You can clean it."

.. Fuck….

Isaac sighed, he wanted to argue, but by now, he just didn't care.

"I swear, if that minister of security or whatever saw this…" Isaac muttered to himself. "He'd shit a brick…"

Know Thy Enemy

The Institute of War

Kasubel sneezed, almost spraying the document he was reading over.

"Goodness me." He muttered, wiping his mouth with his sleeve. It was far from a professional thing to do, but at this time at night, he didn't care.

He had read the document in his hands over twice, and was just about to review it for the tenth. He wanted to make sure he had it perfectly memorized before his meeting with the League's Grand Council tomorrow morning.

It was, after all, the information Archangel had given him on the Ascension several days ago. And it was how Kasubel was going to plead his case to increase the world's security on the matter.

With a sigh and a sip of his tea, Kasubel brought the letter to his face, and began reviewing it yet again.

The Ascension possess weapons and technology far ahead of anything the world had been ready for when the Ascension War began. Even the suit of armor I wear was second class compared to that of the Ascension's own armored suits. Of course, this had a lot to do with the fact that a single organization was almost able to bring an entire world to its knees in a half a year.

The Ascension's military forces were comprised of their own professional troops, mercenaries, and what we referred to as "volunteer divisions" (which referred to anyone who had been either recruited or forced to fight for the Ascension). While the volunteer divisions were poorly trained and equipped, the Ascension's own private forces were to opposite.

The most well known are the Ascension Shock Troopers, which were well equipped and trained soldiers that were more than a match for any of the world's military forces. Shock Troopers were trained to use anything from rifles, to blades, to jetpacks, and could do anything from front line fighting to covert warfare.

The Ascension also had various specialists in their army, such as the Banshees and Ghosts. The Banshees were an all female group of soldiers who were equipped with personal cloaking (that means they could turn themselves invisible) and were usually armed with swords. They acted as some kind of battlefield assassin, but what earned them there name was some kind of sound device they had in their masks which would emit a loud screeching noise that would send nearby soldiers deaf.

Ghosts were basically sniper versions of the Banshees, although they weren't female-exclusive, and they didn't have the screaming.

The Ascension also had several Meta-Humans, such as myself, in their ranks, which was how our world became aware of people such as me existing. In addition, the Ascension was not above performing more experiments on their people and turning average humans into super-fighters.

Aside from infantry, the Ascension had a wide array of aircraft and watercraft that all specialized in stealth. 90% of the time, we didn't know the Ascension was attacking until they were already on us. It was common for Ascension submarines to raid coastal villages and towns and kidnap people to use in either their experiments or force them into joining them. These were usually in small numbers though, and nothing like the numbers I've been shown here on Valoran for your missing people.

In the air, aside from aircraft that can fly three times the speed of sound, the most dangerous one is the Avenger class gunship, which is a massive aircraft loaded and armed to the teeth. Aside from be capable to single-handily wipe out entire columns of tanks (really heavily armored machines), it doubles as a transport, usually carrying a squad or two of Shock Troopers.

On the ground, the Ascension had exotic and powerful machines, such as the Ares Walker (think Blitzcrank, only more sublime and about four times as tall with a human pilot). On the subject of that weird yellow robot, the Ascension also had several robots in their ranks to bolster their numbers. The most common were remotely controlled drones with machine guns, or robotic attack dogs that would charge though the battlefield and rip un-expecting soldiers limb from limb.

I could give you more in depth details of the Ascension's forces, but that would result in me using a LOT of technical terms and explanations in a bunch of things you simply wouldn't understand, given what I've seen this world's technology is at.

I think the best way to describe the Ascension to you is think Piltover's technology and times it by a hundred. Now give them a massive army of deadly soldiers and insane giant Blitzcranks. I think you can get the idea.

Sincerely, Archangel

PS – As to answer your question as to how we beat the Ascension during the Ascension War, it was really a few strokes of luck, and the Ascension biting off more than they could chew. Nothing more. If they had more numbers and our luck didn't cause them to lose a few key battles, we would've lost the war.

Sorry, can't give you much advice in that area other then the only way to beat the Ascension is to never stop fighting them.

Kasubel read Archangel's letter that he had requested over again and scratched his head. He tried to picture some of the weapons of war that the outworlder had described, such as the so called Ares Walker.

A larger version of Blitzcrank… that would be dangerous indeed.

Kasubel did pay close attention to the part where Archangel mentioned that the Ascension had been kidnapping people from Earth too.

That explains why he suspected them…

According to this though, the Ascension had never kidnapped people on such a large scale compared to what was happening in Valoran. So, why the change?

More questions… and STILL no answers…

Kasubel sighed and lowered the paper back onto his desk, closing his eyes deep in thought.

As he tried to think of something, fatigue over took the older summoner, and he fell asleep at his desk.

The Calm…

Bilgewater City

Isaac sighed deeply as he entered his room that Ezreal had rented out for him. Thankfully, he had his own this time. The tavern room was what he expected, a single bed and a small dresser.

Nothing much, just a small room… Isaac was exhausted; he stretched himself out and sighed again.

"Rough day, wasn't it?" Mute asked.

"You can imagine…" Isaac moaned as he stretched out his ribs and relaxed. "From sailing to political meetings, to a bar fight…"

"Sounds like a great day! I know Jackhammer would've enjoyed it." Mute chuckled.

Isaac let himself chuckle slightly too. Yeah, he would've…

He also would've taken Jinx up on the sex offer in an instant.

Isaac rolled his eyes at that thought. Between Miss Fortune and Jinx's flirty talk, he wasn't sure what to say. He was NOT used to it.

Although… Isaac scratched the back of his neck, before beginning to remove parts of his armor. Now that I think about it… I haven't been laid in… well… years…

Not since Kasumi had died.

Isaac felt his relaxed mood fall, like it always did when he thought about her. He shook his head, trying to push the depressing thoughts out of his head.

If Kasumi was still around, she would've thought my earlier mourning of her to be a sign of loyalty… but now, she would've smacked me aside the head for being stuck in the past too much.

Sure, Isaac had a hard time letting go of the past, his nightmares proof of that. Kasumi on the other hand… she was always moving forward. And she made sure Isaac knew it.

If she thought I was being too much of a stick in the mud, she would yank me out and force me to come with her…

Isaac sighed. But now, Kasumi was gone, another causality of the Ascension War. To the world Kasumi "Yūrei" Sasaki was just another name on the list of countless names of all the lives lost during the war.

To Isaac though, it was someone in his life he could never replace… just like Isabella.

"Isaac…" He heard Mute's concerned tone in his earpiece. "I know your thinking on the past too hard again…"

"Hmm?" Isaac played it off. "What makes you think that?"

"Oh for…" Mute sighed. "That, just like that. You're sighing too much again."

Isaac was about to sigh in response, but stopped himself. I really got to fix that habit… He shook his head and continued to remove his armor. "I'm going to bed, too much annoying stuff happened today."

"Still not a fan of politics huh?"

"Never…"

Isaac removed his helmet and set it on the dresser. After he was ten minutes into the fifteen minute process of removing his armor, there was a knock at the door.

Isaac halted what he was doing immediately and looked down at himself. Only part of his leg armor and greaves were still on, the rest of him was only covered by his under-suit.

If that's someone here to pick a fight, I'm in a bad spot… Isaac growled in his mind. He was getting too careless in his mental fatigue.

At least I'm still fine physically… He reached for his utility belt that was resting on his bed and drew out a throwing knife.

He heard another knock at the door. Isaac approached the entrance to his room and held the knife in his hand that would be hidden by the opening door, ready in case it was another pirate or something here to try and fight him. He placed a hand on the doorknob and opened the door just wide enough to see out.

"Yes?" He asked coolly.

Instead of a pirate or something, Isaac was greeted with a wide smiling, twin-braided blue haired Jinx.

"What took you so long?" The self-doctor-noted- crazy woman asked with a smile.

Internally, Isaac breathed a sigh of relief. Not someone here to fight… thank god…

Although, deep down, he knew that he should've been even more on guard by the wild-card that was Jinx.

"Sorry… I was in the middle of something…" Isaac replied, carefully dropping the knife in his hand concealed by the door. The blade end stuck itself in the wooden floor with a quiet thunk.

"Well…" Isaac heard Jinx mumble.

"Hmm?"

The blue haired girl looked left to right, as if she was sneaking. Most of the tavern goers were sleeping, Ezreal and Vega no expectation to that.

Why does she look like a little girl trying to sneak out at night?

"Well! Let me in!" Jinx suddenly pushed on the door.

"Wa..wait…" Isaac half resisted, but Jinx just opened the door slightly enough to squeeze her skinny body in and gave Isaac a "hah!" as she entered.

"Is there something you needed Jinx?" Isaac sighed as he closed the door behind her and locked it, still a bit paranoid about a potential attacker later.

"Hmm… not really…" Jinx replied with a bored ton, taking a few steps past Isaac to look around the room as she twirled one of her braids again. Her pink eyes came to a halt on the mess on the floor, which was made up of the pieces from Isaac's armor.

"Ooooohhhh…." She exclaimed, suddenly interested.

"No." Isaac deadpanned. He knew what she was thinking.

"What?" Jinx turned to face him with a pout. "Why not?"

"Because last time you nearly gave Mute an artificial heart attack." Isaac said as he walked past the pouting Jinx and reached down to try and organize the mess that was his armor.

Jinx didn't say anything for a few seconds, which made Isaac curious as to what she was doing here.

Actually…. What is she doing here?

"Soooo… is she on all the time?" Jinx suddenly asked from behind him.

"Who?"

"Mute, duh. Who else could I be talking about?"

Always a smartass…

"Yes," Isaac answered. "She can shut herself on and off as she pleases to save power, but she usually stays online twenty-four-seven."

"That's gotta be boring when you're sleeping." Jinx mumbled. Isaac glanced behind her, and was somewhat surprised to see a slight pitying look on Jinx's face.

"Well…" Isaac began as he turned back to his armor on the floor, unsure of what to say.

"Hey, can you turn her off for a bit?" Jinx asked a strange question. "There's something I need to talk about…"

"Huh?" Isaac glanced back at Jinx. YOU? A somewhat serious talk?!

Who was this girl in his room, and what happened to the crazy Jinx?

Isaac looked back at his helmet where it rested on his dresser. He barely noticed a brief flash of blue light across its visor, which was Mute sending him a signal.

Don't. Do. It.

Isaac bit his lower lip and was about to tell Jinx negative, when she suddenly walked past him and picked up his helmet.

Isaac felt some sweat go down the back of his neck as the anorexic female held his helmet in her hands with her back turned to him. He quickly stood up straight and grabbed Jinx by the wrist from behind. "What are you doing?! Put that down!" Isaac said in an authoritative tone.

"Huh?" Jinx looked back at him, with a somewhat confused look on her face.

"Don't huh me! Last time you held that you ran around a ship with it on your head for a good ten minutes."

Jinx's confused expression returned to her devilish smile. "Oh! Well that was sure fun wasn't it!" She laughed.

"No." Isaac pulled her towards him so that he could grab his helmet back. Mute has to be holding her breath in fear right now…

"Hey!" Jinx tried to pull away from him, but only managed in turning herself away from him, keeping the helmet out of his reach. "I was just going to turn her off or throw it outside or something."

"Throw it outside?!" Isaac half shouted, trying his hardest to keep his voice down in the tavern.

"Well! Yeah!" Jinx rolled her eyes. "Since you're not going to turn her off, I'll just throw it out the window and you can go get it later."

Oh for the love of…

Isaac sighed. He wasn't really in the mood for this argument, and given the defying look in Jinx's pink eyes, he could tell she wasn't going to back down.

"Fine, I'll turn her off." Isaac gave in and took his helmet back from Jinx, who parted with it this time.

"Turn around." Isaac nodded to Jinx; he didn't want her to see where the chip was located on his helmet.

Jinx rolled her eyes in response and did as what she was told.

Isaac turned it over in his hand so that he was looking at the back of it and undid a small tab on the back of it, exposing Mute's AIX chip briefly.

She's going to give me holy hell for this afterwards.

He flipped a small switch on the back of it and closed the tab.

"There, she's off…"

And she's going to be SUPER pissed at me later…

"Really?" Jinx turned back around as Isaac placed his helmet back on his dresser. "That was easy."

"So…" Isaac turned to face Jinx. With Mute off, he suddenly realized how close Jinx was to him, half a foot maybe? She was also roughly the same height as him.

"Right then!" Jinx's face returned to her evil grin, and she suddenly jumped at him.

Huh?!

Isaac was unprepared for that. He fell backwards on-to his bed and out of reflex grabbed Jinx, who had wrapped her arms around his neck when she jumped on him. Isaac was about to push her off and shout when he felt something soft on his lips.

?

Isaac blinked. Jinx had just tackled him onto his bed. And kissed him.

Although he had frozen up, Jinx's lips kept moving on his mouth. After a second, without actually knowing why, Isaac returned the kiss.

After a few seconds of affection, Isaac felt Jinx's arms unwrap themselves and then felt her hands pushing down on his shoulders while her kissing became more aggressive.

Waitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwaitwait! Isaac's mind suddenly took off. He raised his hands quickly and pushed Jinx's head back away from his.

"What are you doing?!" He asked, trying hard to mask his sudden embarrassment.

Jinx's face quickly became confused. "What do you mean, WHAT AM I DOING? Isn't it obvious!?"

"Well, yeah but, this is rather sudden!" Isaac protested. He was still surprised, given that Jinx had suddenly jumped on him.

But now that I think about it, given what she was saying earlier tonight… why am I so surprised?

"Well, duh! We talked about it earlier remember? Before that AWESOME bar fight!" Jinx's confused face returned to her usual grin. "Besides, you never said no when I asked. So I took that as a yes."

What kind of logic is that?! Isaac thought.

"So?" Jinx leaned back down slowly; Isaac could see that her pink eyes were full of lust. "I can tell you're having a hard time resisting..." Isaac felt her hand trace down his body and come to a stop at his waist. He suddenly felt her grab his junk roughly, but not hard to the point it felt painful.

Jinx's face came to a stop inches from his. "So… let's have some action…" She whispered and pressed her lips against his again.

Isaac's mind raced, he was not expecting any of this. He was just about to resist and throw her off when he suddenly heard his comrade, Jackhammer's voice in his mind.

"Nothing like a little romp to beat off that stress baby!"

Well, I AM stressed to hell given the fact I'm on an alien world, fighting a war against the bastards responsible for killing…

Fuck it.

Isaac finally gave in and grabbed the back of Jinx's head with one hand, pushing her lips into his harder and returning the kiss. While Jinx seemed surprised at first, she suddenly pushed her tongue into his mouth and the kiss became lust induced. With his free hand he grabbed Jinx by her rear and pulled her onto him fully as he enjoyed the feeling of her massaging his shaft with her hand.

If it's going to happen…. Might as well enjoy it…

(LEMON WARNING)

Isaac pushed his tongue deeper into Jinx's mouth, only to feel her wrap her own tongue around his. While the two of them made out, Isaac fought back the urge to moan as Jinx roughly moved her hand up and down his erection, stroking it through his under suit. In return, Isaac massaged her rear, and the two of them remained like that for several seconds before Jinx broke off and leapt off him.

"Let's get… THESE!" Jinx grabbed his greaves and tried to remove them, "OFF!"

Isaac fought back the urge to roll his eyes this time, as there was no way in hell Jinx knew how to properly take off the rest of his armor. To speed things up, Isaac helped her remove the last pieces of his armor and his under suit, leaving himself completely naked in from of the lunatic.

Isaac laid back onto the bed on his back, looking up at Jinx standing at the base of the bed. Now also naked, the crazy pink eyed girl looked him over, eyes glancing from top to bottom before stopping on his erection; Isaac grinned ever so slightly with a tinge of humor as he saw Jinx's grin grow and proceeded to bit her lower lip, pure lust written all over her face.

Without another word, Jinx climbed on top of him and spread herself out on him. Isaac remained passive, watching and wondering what the crazy girl would do.

"Oh yeah…" Jinx mumbled happily as she traced a finger along his scarred body, in particular along his abs. She traced a finger along his scars as well. "I've been eyeing this body for awhile…" She mumbled, grin on her face showing off just how much she was enjoying this.

After a few seconds of admiring his body, Jinx placed a hand on each of his pecks and massaged them. She let out a light giggle, "For someone so skinny… you're body puts most men to shame."

As much as I'm happy with that compliment… You're not one to call someone skinny Jinx…

Isaac let out a brief moan as he felt Jinx rub her womanhood against his manhood. Jinx must have felt it as well, as her usual crazy grin slowly turned into one of pleasure. As she continued to feel up his body and rub against him, Isaac reached up and placed his hands on Jinx's modest breasts, rubbing them in a circular motion, earning a moan from the blue haired girl. She lifted her head back a bit and sped up rubbing Isaac's manhood between her lower lips, causing her to let out a brief sigh of pleasure.

"It's been to long… ah…" Jinx moaned.

After a few seconds of mutually masturbating them both, Jinx moved down his body and grabbed his manhood, holding it near her face. Giggling, she jerked his penis up and down and rubbed it against her cheek, her eyes look back into his own with a lustful look.

"This is gonna be great!" Jinx laughed, and without further adu, she moved her face up to the tip of his shaft, and swallowed it whole.

Holy shit!

Isaac moaned as he felt Jinx blow him, her moist mouth moving up and down his shaft. He couldn't help but buck his hips to her motion as she bobbed her head up and down his manhood. On his male instinct, Isaac leaned his head back against his pillow and closed his eyes, letting his stress and paranoia vanish as Jinx serviced him.

As he felt her tongue wrapping around his dick while inside her mouth, the noises coming from Jinx's mouth became increasing lewd, making the scene even more erotic. Isaac's hands shot down to Jinx's head and grabbed both her massive braids by the base and applied pressure to her head, pushing her head down harder on his shaft. Jinx went along with the action and let go of his dick, placing her hands on either side of his hips instead as Isaac thrust up in pleasure. Jinx's mouth let out even more lewd noises as he face fucked the wanted criminal, feeling his shaft move roughly throughout her mouth. After a few seconds, Isaac, eyes still closed and lost in pleasure, felt Jinx tap on his waist.

Without delay, Isaac released Jinx's blue haired head and he immediately felt the warmth of Jinx's mouth vanish. Opening his eyes, he saw Jinx grab his cock again with her hands as she gasped for air from the rough act they had just performed. Regardless, Jinx still bore a pleased grin.

Jinx took Isaac hand in hand and pulled him up so that he was sitting up. She laid down on her back and lifted her hips so that her prized possession was inches away from Isaac's, slapping her own possession with a lustful look.

"Come on Archi… your turn!" She laughed.

Isaac obliged. He grabbed Jinx and lifted her up, earning a yelp and a giggle from the crazy girl and the two of them switched places. Now Jinx was lying down on her back head against the pillow and Isaac bringing his face down to Jinx's vagina. As lust took over, Isaac lapped Jinx's clit with his tongue, earning a series of moans from the blue haired girl as he licked and sucked on her woman hood.

"Ooohh… yeah…" Jinx moaned, "This was worth the wait…"

Isaac quickly sat up and grabbed Jinx's hips, earning a yelp of surprise as he pulled her towards him and elevated her vagina to his face as he continued to please her. Suddenly, he felt Jinx grab the back of his head and push his face harder into her vagina as she bucked her hips.

"Yes! Come! On!" Jinx gasped, and in response, Isaac started servicing the crazy woman harder with his tongue, earning another series of moans from Jinx. However, it wasn't long before he felt Jinx's hands stopped pressing him into her, and instead pushed him back. Isaac released her with a questioning expression, but that didn't last long as Jinx quickly got up and shoved her lips onto his own.

Isaac fell onto his back as Jinx climbed on top of him, lips still attached to his. Isaac placed his hands on her back and massaged her as she pressed her breasts into his chest. Jinx broke off the kiss and lifted her face from Isaacs until they were inches apart. Isaac looked up at Jinx's grinning face with her lust filled eyes.

"Foreplay's over Archi." Jinx grinned and let out another giggle. She placed her hands on Isaac's chest, pushed herself up and positioned her pelvis over Isaac's. Knowing what she was doing, Isaac took his manhood in his own hand and helped position it under Jinx. As the lusty lunatic lowered herself, the two of them worked together to guide Isaac into her.

Just as Isaac's tip rubbed against Jinx's liba, she suddenly dropped herself onto him, forcing his manhood all the way into herself, earning a satisfying moan from Jinx.

"Oh… yeah…" Jinx groaned as she leaned on Isaac's chest with her hands and started moving up and down.

"Ah… you're so wet." Isaac moaned as he felt Jinx ride him. Jinx giggled in response and sped up her motions, and soon she found a good pace.

The Loose Cannon rode Isaac's cannon and her steady breathing quickly turned rugged. "Come… on!" Jinx moaned as she sped up her movements, bringing herself down on Isaac quickly and forcefully, creating loud noises as her body slapped against his.

As much as Isaac enjoyed lying there while Jinx went to town on him, he wasn't one for letting the girl do all the work. He quickly reached up and grabbed Jinx by the shoulders, pulling her down towards him. The blue haired criminal let out a yelp in surprise, but it was short lived as Isaac brought her face down to his and pressed their lips together. As Isaac's tongue invaded Jinx's mouth, he felt her lower body's movement's change as she started grinding his shaft with her vagina.

"What?" Jinx giggled as she broke the kiss for a moment, looking Isaac in the eyes, "Aww… didn't like having the bad girl do all the work?" She playfully taunted him with both her words and her body. As she spoke, she suddenly stopped moving. "Come on then Archi… so me what you can do!" She laughed.

Isaac couldn't stop himself from grinning at that challenge. "Oh?"

He suddenly flipped Jinx over, earning another yelp and a laugh from the tattooed girl as they rolled over on the bed, ending with their positions reversed. Isaac placed his hands on the bed, on either side of the wildly grinning Jinx, and pushed himself up so that he was leaning over her in a missionary position.

"Oh…" Jinx moaned as Isaac began thrusting into her, earning gasps of pleasure from Jinx as she brought one of her hands up to her face and bit down on a fingernail. "That's more LIKE IT!"

Isaac grinned and set on a steady pace, thrusting in and out of Jinx, earning the odd gasp and moan from her as Jinx got herself comfortable underneath him.

"Come on…" Jinx moaned, and proceeded to reach up and give his ass quick slap. "Shoot faster!"

In response, Isaac began thrusting harder and harder, causing lewd noises as their pelvises slapped against one another.

"Yes! Yes!" Jinx moaned, her once focused crazy gaze began to get more distant and satisfied. "Like that!"

"God…" Isaac moaned, "You're… pussy feels so wet." Isaac grunted as he thrust in and out of Jinx, feeling his own pleasure rise.

Jinx giggled, but Isaac could tell she was having a harder time focusing since she was starting to get lost in the pleasure of their act. "That's because… ugh… you're making this soooooooo worth it…" Jinx moaned. This time it was her turn to grab Isaac's head and bring him down to her for a kiss. As they made out, Isaac felt Jinx wrap her legs around him and pull him in closer.

"Come on! Yes!" Jinx moaned loudly, breaking the kiss as her breathing went completely rugged. "Harder! Harder!"

Isaac grunted as he pushed himself deeper into her, feeling the walls of her vagina tightening as he did, making each thrust more enjoyable for him.

Suddenly, Jinx started bucking, wrapping her arms around Isaac and tightened her leg-lock around his lower body in the process. She gasped in pleasure and started moaning loudly. On cue, Isaac felt her vagina constrict repeatedly around his dick.

"Yes! Yes! Keep going!" Jinx gasped as she climaxed. Isaac sped up his pace, although he had to thrust harder since Jinx's tightening pussy made it harder to push all the way in.

"Oh… Archi…" Jinx moaned as she released her arm and leg lock on him and relaxed. "That felt soooooo good…" Her usual grin was lost on her face, and in its place, was a look of complete satisfaction.

Isaac slowed down his thrusting as Jinx tried to catch her breath from her climax. After a few seconds, Jinx's grin returned and she pushed him off her gently. Before Isaac could question it, she sat up and proceeded to get down on all fours.

"Come on… get that hard thing back in me!" Jinx giggled as she waved her rear around in front of Isaac, taunting him.

Like you need to tell me twice!

As the two of them went at it doggy-style, Isaac felt himself getting closer to his own climax. Closer, but not there yet.

Jinx on the other hand, was gasping widely again.

"Come on! Harder! Come on Archi!" Jinx moaned, as she thrust her body backwards against Isaac, making even louder slapping noises as they thrust into each other.

As the two of them enjoyed themselves, Isaac reached under Jinx and pulled her body upwards. Jinx must have realized what he was doing and went with it, lifting her upper body up and placing her hands against the wall by the head of the bed. She pushed off of the wall slightly and leaned her head back so that the two of them could look each other in the eyes.

"You close…?" Jinx grinned, but it was obvious on her face that she was close to climaxing again. "Because I am…"

Isaac leaned forward and kissed the self-claimed-but-clearly-insane woman, as the two of the slightly slowed their pace down. Isaac felt her vagina walls twitch a bit around his shaft, making him moan slightly.

Jinx giggled in response. "I'll take that as a yes…"

"Close…" Isaac moaned slightly as Jinx tightened herself around his manhood again. "But not yet."

"Good! I like your stamina." Jinx giggled like the lunatic she was. "Just make sure you pull out."

"Of course…" Isaac replied, planting another kiss on her lips. He was pretty sure there were no such things as birth control in this world, and the last thing he needed right now was getting someone pregnant.

Mute would never let me hear the end of it…

Jinx broke off the kiss as she started panting more and moaning. "Ohhh…. Come on…" She moaned. Taking the queue, Isaac wrapped his arms around Jinx tightly and started thrusting with reckless abandon. Jinx responded by pushing off the wall so that she was only kneeling upright thanks to Isaac. As Isaac fucked her hard from behind, Isaac noticed that Jinx was now playing with her breasts.

"Yes! Fuck yes! Ughhhh!" Jinx moaned and Isaac felt her constrict around him again, causing him to moan as he got close to climaxing himself.

As Jinx hit her orgasm, Isaac kept on thrusting, trying to reach an orgasm of his own. As Jinx's own climax settled down, Isaac decided that now was the best time.

"Jinx… I'm gonna…" Isaac moaned as he got close to climaxing. He didn't get to finish, as soon as he finished the word "gonna" Jinx pushed her back against him hard and pulled away. As the two of them separated, Jinx quickly turned around and dropped down to all fours, lowering her face over Isaac's manhood.

"Like this!" Jinx exclaimed enthusiastically as she took Isaac's cock in hand and began to beat him off. As Isaac moaned in pleasure from being close to his own orgasm, Jinx giggled.

"Oh yeah… cum for me Archi!" Jinx tempted him, lowering her face onto his shaft and taking it into her mouth. As she roughly began to blow him with passion, Isaac couldn't keep it in any longer.

"Ugh!" Isaac moaned as he felt himself cum, releasing sperm into Jinx's mouth. As he felt his manhood pulse from the ejaculation, Isaac felt Jinx's mouth flood with his seed.

Jinx made a quick surprised noise, but then slowed her pace, bobbing her head up and down on his shaft lightly as she swallowed the sperm as it poured into her mouth. At the same time, Isaac felt her caressing his balls, as if she was trying to get them to produce more sperm.

Wow… Isaac had to admit, having the lunatic swallow his spunk was rather hot.

After a few seconds, Isaac's orgasm subsided. Jinx lifted her head off his dick and wiped her mouth with a hand, sitting up on her knees so that they were at eye level.

"Oh yeah…" She giggled with a very satisfied look on her face. "That… was SOOOO worth it!"

Isaac nodded in response, but he was exhausted now. "Yeah… it was…"

Isaac laid down onto the bed and let out a loud breath of air. He was pretty worn out after that.

Before he could think of what to say next, Jinx laid down on top of him, head resting on his chest and yawning.

"Man… I'm beat now..." Jinx mumbled. She said something else, but it was quickly replaced with the sound of her soft breathing.

Isaac couldn't help but chuckle. All that energy before, and she was out like a light moments after the sex ended. Isaac looked over at his helmet resting on his dresser. He was not looking forward to the lecture Mute was going to give him tomorrow.

But… its safe to say this was worth it…

Near Bilgewater

Commander Julius of the Ascension looked at the distance city of Bilgewater through the Avenger class gunship's night vision on the console in front of him. He scowled at the sight. Such a hovel, such a piss hole. It shouldn't exist. It reminded him of the Caribbean's pirate nations during the colonial age hundreds of years ago.

And everything back then probably stank of piss.

"Commander." One of the ship's pilots on the bridge turned to him from where she was sitting. "The Overseer class Submarine is in position and await your signal."

Julius nodded, scratching his slowly growing grey beard. "Alright then." He replied and got himself a little more comfortable in his leather seat. The Avenger class gunships were large enough, and required enough crew members, that they had to have a bridge similar to that of a naval vessel. Given the ship's already massive size and the appearance of a large beetle in the air, it made the ship slow and heavy, which was why it remained in the air by VTOL thrusters.

The commander tapped a button on his console in front of him, sending the image of the cesspool of a city away and brought up a new screen that was linked to the Avenger's hanger, where two squads of Shock Troopers were armed and armored, ready for what was about to transpire. On the center of the screen, was an armored figure with unique armor that set him aside from the rest of the soldiers. His armor was a glowing blue and appeared even more advanced then that of the Shock Troopers. This one also had a helmet with a pitch black visor that spread across the entire front of his helmet.

"Yes sir?" Said a voice from his console that sounded like the owner of it had died already.

Julius nodded to the figure on the console. "We're about to begin, are you and your men ready?"

The meta-human on his screen nodded. "Aye sir. Locked and loaded."

"Good, once we give this oversized slum of a city its wake up call, prepare to land." Julius lowered his head slightly. "Remember you and your team's objective."

"Sir. The elimination of Archangel and the capture of the League's Champions." The meta-human replied.

"Good." Julius relaxed in his chair again. "Of course, if we end up killing any of these so called champions in the bombardment, no tears lost, there's over a hundred of them."

The meta-human on screen nodded.

"That is all for now, good luck down there." Julius finished up.

"Luck is for fools who can't hope to hold their own." The meta-human responded coldly, "But I appreciate the sentiment sir." And with that, the console went black.

Julius rolled his eyes. Meta-humans…. They think themselves to be superior to use since they have their tricks… but there just freak products of genetic and bio experiments.

Of course, the Ascension as a whole was lenient on Meta humans, and was even led by one, but that didn't mean Julius wholly agreed with it. He believed in what the Ascension stood for, but had his second thoughts about the monsters in human skin.

No matter. Julius shook it off and looked out at the city on his console.

"All personal…" Julius spoke into an open COM. "Begin operation."

Let's show this world why Earth is superior.
