Saiyans on the Grandline
"Damn those two." Kaen growled, delivering a spinning back kick to one of the prison guards. "First they complain how we got caught in a trap, they set off, then they climb up the net and ditch us as soon as we break free of it."
"Yeah I know, those jerks. But there's not much we can do." Luffy said, dodging a pitch fork aimed right at them. "Still, if we can make it to the next level, then we're that much closer to rescuing Mina, Ace, and your child."
"Come on, this way." Kaen said, grabbing Luffy and flying through the air with him. "I can use my ice to keep us cool in this heat, but it probably won't do us much good on Level4."
"Great. We don't have anymore time to loose."
"Halt, you two shall not escape my fury." The head guard of the third level said, running after them, only to be sent flying back as Kaen punt kicked him like a pig skin football.
"Just shut up already will ya? You little freak." Kaen exclaimed.
"Watch out, here comes the lion thing." Luffy called out.
Kaen looked up, and saw that the stairwell guardian was coming straight for them, with a spike of stone stuck in its head.
"Oh shit, the Sphinx didn't die after all." Kaen called out, before they were trapped by the beast. "Damn it, the thing must have fallen down here with us when I destroyed the ground."
"Kaen do something."
"I'm too dehydrated to do anything right now." Kaen said pushing against the Sphinx's paw.
"HEY, LET THEM GO."
Kaen and Luffy's heads shot up as the familiar voice echoed around them, however when they looked up and saw who spoke up, Kaen realized immediately that it wasn't actually their Ship's three sword style swordsman, mainly because of one thing.
"Need a hand pal?" The imposter asked.
"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU? ZORO WOULD NEVER DO A BALLET POSE LIKE THAT!" He shouted.
"Swan: ARROWBET." The imposter called out, hitting the Sphinx in the side, knocking it away, and freeing them.
"Well, at least he's on our side." Kaen said, as the imposter landed, revealing that his face had changed to one of a man's wearing lipstick and eye shadow, as he kept repeating the word, swan.
"That is not Zoro, but he does sound familiar." Luffy said.
"Been a while Straw Boy, did you miss me old pal?" The man asked, tears in his eyes.
"It's Bon." Luffy cheered as he ran and hugged the inmate.
"Who?" Kaen asked, firing Ki blasts at the guards who were taking aim at them. "Piss off you damn pests."
"Ah, you really bailed us out last time, but I'm glad you're not dead. Am I sure happy to see you." Luffy cried happily.
"Oh stop pulling my tail, you know swans never die. Unless that isn't true." Bon said.
"Seriously, who are you?" Kaen questioned.
"Oh right, we never told you the story." Luffy said. "This is Bon Clay, after what went down in Alabasta with Crocodile, he sacrificed himself and his crew to create a diversion to help us get away from the Marines."
"You seem to have picked up a new friend Straw Boy." Bon said.
"This is Kaen, one of my newest crewmates." Luffy said. "We're both here on a rescue mission."
"It is an honor and a privilege to meet a Saiyan Warrior." Bon said. "By the way, a little wax birdie told me you both wanted to go down all the way to Level5."
"We actually need to go down to level six." Kaen said. "Our guides took off and left us to die."
"We could use another guide if you're not too busy." Luffy stated.
"Wouldn't have it any other way my friends." Bon smiled. "As fate would have it, there's someone down on Level5 I'd like to see too."
"Really?" Luffy asked.
"Now then, shall we go?"
"Lead the way." Kaen said.
"Follow me." Bon smiled, leading them through Level3. "Next stop, Level4."
Following the swan ballerina, Kaen and Luffy were excited to know they were getting closer and closer to their goal. However, fate was rarely on their side since entering the prison, and Kaen was the first to sense why.
"Stop you two." Kaen said, sticking his arms out in front of them.
"What's wrong Kaen?" Luffy asked.
"I'm sensing a murderous aura." Kaen stated, taking a battle stance. "Just leave this one to me."
The sound of heavy footsteps reached their ears as Kaen stood ready to fight. Bon and Luffy were both scared, but determined to see this through. The instant that they saw the beast that came, Kaen just stared, the minotaur like creature reaching the top of the stairs leading down to Level4.
"What is that thing?" Luffy asked.
"My guess, one of the guardians of the prison." Kaen said. "Stand back."
"Hold up Kaen, wait." Bon tried to warn him.
But Bon was too late, as Kaen went charging at the beast, and once he was within range, the beast hit him with its studded club, sending the Saiyan back, and sliding into Bon and Luffy.
"You doing okay?" Bon asked.
"I'll be fine." Kaen groaned, picking himself up. "This thing's tougher then he looks, and I'm low on energy. I don't have any other choice. I'm gonna have to eat another Primal Rage."
Reaching into his pouch where they're kept, Kaen's eyes widened with shock, when he realized he only had one left.
"Not good." Kaen said.
"What's wrong?" Luffy asked.
"I've only got one candy left." Kaen said.
"An' that's important why?" Bon asked, dodging each of the Minotaur's strikes, before Luffy joined in.
"Those aren't just any ordinary candies." Luffy said. "His sister made them, they only work on Saiyans, and they bring out the power of his inner beast. With only one left, we don't really stand a chance when it all wears off."
"We still have one more ace in the hole." Kaen said, pocketing the candy, and pulling out his own concoction of a power amplifier. "It's the drug I made. The one that should allow me to take on that beastly form again."
"No way." Luffy said, activating Second Gear. "Save it for if we really need it. Because right now, we don't. If we time our attacks just right we can take this thing down."
Hitting the minotaur with a Jet Bazooka, Luffy sent the beast flying into the overhead pass up the stair behind them, and rendered it unconscious as piles of rubble landed on it.
"The path is clear now, we can make our way to the next floor bellow." Kaen said, walking stiffly. "Damn it."
"What's the matter?" Bon asked. "Why are you walking like that?"
"It's the Primal Rage." Kaen coughed. "It doesn't last for very long, and one of the side affects for when it wears off completely, include paralysis lasting for a few days. My body's fighting back against the paralysis, due to how often I've used the Primal Rage, but it's not gonna last."
"That's not good." Bon said.
"We're almost there." Luffy said. "Just a few more levels to go."
"I'll keep fighting, and I'll get to Mina and Ace." Kaen huffed, gritting his teeth with dark bags forming under his eyes. "Even if it kills me."
"I don't think that beast is down for the count, so we'd better hurry." Bon said.
"Kaen, what about those drinks Mina kept pulling from her Duplication Void, for you and the rest of the crew?" Luffy asked.
"You mean a Rockstar?" Kaen asked. "It's got caffeine in it, so that might help."
"What is this, Rockstar?" Bon inquired.
"An energy drink. Packed with caffeine and sugar. Lately after I've had a Primal Rage, I have found they tend to help fight against the paralysis for a couple hours." Kaen explained.
"Well, do you have any on you?"
"I've got a Pocket Void pouch on my utility belt. Helps hold the larger stuff I can't carry in my arms all the time." Kaen said, reaching into the pouch. "I've got six in the pouch, five after this, but that's it."
"Drink two of them now. We need you at your best." Luffy said, before they stopped at a dead end. "The path is blocked."
"This is where we need to go actually." Bon said.
"Up there?" Kaen asked, before guzzling down one of the Rockstars.
"From here, it'll be tutu easy to get to Level4." Bon stated. "Don't just go barging in though, you'll need to watch your step. It's not called the Blazing Hell, for nothing."
"The heat's what's causing this level to be so hot right?" Kaen asked, after downing the second Rockstar. "If it's hot in there, then this heat will feel like a cool summer breeze in comparison."
"Kaen, give us a lift?" Luffy asked.
Moments later, Bon was crying in shock, as he and Luffy were thrown from the ground to the platform leading into Level4, before Kaen hopped up and joined them.
"What was that for? Can't Saiyans fly?" Bon asked.
"We can, but I'm low on Ki right now, so I have to preserve what I have until I get a chance to recharge, or until I take my last Primal Rage." Kaen said, cracking his neck.
"Uh guys." Luffy said, looking over the edge, leading to the fourth level. "It's really hot in there."
Kaen just stepped up to the ledge, just as a gust of hot air, blew in his face, forcing him to step back, as he felt blisters forming on the skin of his face.
"Damn, it's really hot in there." Kaen said.
"That is a lot of smoke. Don't tell me we have to go down there, it's bad enough up here on the ledge." Luffy stated.
"Alas, this is the Blazing Hell you so desired to visit." Bon said. "An' double alas, it lives up to its name, quite accurately."
"Well damn, what's down there?" Luffy asked.
"It's akin to a scalding pot, and once you go down there, you'll find nothing but a boiling pool of blood, in a blazing sea of fire." Bon exclaimed.
"I hope they're cooking something awesome down there, and not just prisoners." Luffy said.
"Do you ever think without your stomach involved?" Kaen asked. "We have to move, otherwise we'll be cooked alive as well."
"We can jump to the bottom, but if we land in the wrong spot, we'll be fried in an instant." Bon said hopping down onto the path bellow the ledge. "You'll be risking your lives with each step you take from now on."
"Uh, Bon, Luffy." Kaen said, looking to his right.
Bon and Luffy looked to where Kaen was looking, and saw Mr.3, and Buggy running towards them with the Minotaur chasing them.
"So that thing's still alive?" Luffy asked.
"At least it's forcing Buggy and Mr.3 to keep their promises to us." Kaen said. "Unfortunately, I don't have the energy to fight that thing, so let's run, right now."
"Agreed." Luffy and Bon said, as they began to run, with the other two joining them.
"Not you again damn it." Buggy said, realizing who they were running next to.
"I knew you'd change your mind and come with us." Luffy smiled.
"Screw you. That is now what's happening here." Buggy stated. "We were just trying to hide, when this thing came crashing into… hey give that back." He complained as Kaen took back the armlet.
"You broke your promise, so you don't get to keep this." Kaen said, handing it back to Luffy.
"Keep it for now." Luffy said as they ran. "Think you have enough energy to take that thing down?"
"I might have enough for a single attack." Kaen said. "But I'll need to gain a bit more distance before I can do anything."
"We'll get you what you need." Bon said. "Come on boys, let's rough this beef loin up."
"Why are you dragging us into this?" Buggy asked, as the three of them turned back to face the Minotaur, while Kaen continued to run a bit more, before he slid to a stop.
"Alright, here goes nothing." Kaen said, taking his stance, with his hands at his side, Ki building up in the space between his palms. "Ka-me…ha-me…"
"You ready yet big boy?" Bon asked.
"It's ready, everyone out of the way." Kaen called out. "HAAAAA!"
Sending the attack at the Minotaur, the other three moved to the side, with Buggy barely avoiding being hit by the attack, before it struck its target, and sent it flying through the walls and back into Level3, creating a giant hole in the wall that let more heat out.
"The hell kind of attack was that?" Buggy asked.
"The same attack that destroyed the Zombie, Moria made using Kaen's shadow." Luffy said.
"Moria, as in the Warlord?" Bon asked.
"Yep. Kaen's strength was barely enough to beat him, but he prevailed in the end." Luffy stated.
"Amazing. I know Saiyans are strong but… he's kinda weak for one actually. Yamoshi could take on all Seven Warlords and barely break a sweat." Buggy said as they made their way back to him. "I mean, how weak can his Zenkai boosts be?"
"Let's just say, there's something inside me siphoning the power build up from my Zenkai's." Kaen huffed. "It's keeping my power down to the bare minimum, enough to where I won't be able to destroy the entire planet, not in on go that is."
"Then let it keep doing its thing." Buggy stated. "The last thing we need is for you to destroy the planet and killing everyone on it."
"I hate to interrupt, but can we get a move on now?" Mr.3 asked.
"Right. Now we're gonna head down, and get to Level6, no matter what it takes." Kaen stated, his eyes flashing with power.
~Mina, Ace, Jinbe~
All was quiet in the prison cell. Mina, and Ace were mulling over their fates, while Jinbe was shaking in rage about the Government willing to execute Mina, despite finding out she was with child. The silence was soon broken, when they heard one of the transponder snails, from one of the nearby guards.
"Hello, hello. This is the Guard Station on Level4. All of our forced are rallied under Warden Magellan, we're ready for anything down here." The voice said.
It was obvious what was on their minds, as Ace couldn't help but to worry for his younger brother's life, and think how much of an idiot he was, for even trying to attempt this rescue operation.
"Luffy." Ace said in concern.
Mina just looked at Ace, one hand remaining on her stomach as if trying to find any semblance of comfort, before she turned and looked at debatable Fishman Warlord.
"Jinbe." Mina began. "Can I ask a favor of you?"
~Marineford~
"An' you're certain of this?" Garp questioned, looking at Koby and Helmeppo as they had given their report.
"Positive. It would seem that Celeron and Chisaki, aren't who they say they are. An' they're true objectives are far more sinister then they claim." Koby said.
"Then it would appear, Eri was right." Garp sighed. "I knew they were lying, but to this extreme. Seems like we don't have much of a choice, we have to keep Eri safe at the execution as much as we possibly can."
"What exactly is his power, if you don't mind me asking sir?" Helmeppo inquired.
"From what I understand of it, according to Eri who's suffered at the hands of Chisaki's power, he can break anything he touches down, to their smallest particles, and reconstruct them to any shape of his will. An' he's not limited to plants of inorganic materials either." Garp explained. "His power works on people and animals as well. She knows this, because every time he harvested some of her cells and blood, for his experiments, he would force her Rewind power to activate, and then kill her by destroying her body, and reconstructing it, multiple times a day. He did this, for two whole years, before Kaen and Mina rescued her, apparently."
"That… that's awful." Koby said, his face twisted in utter disgust.
"Who… who would do such a thing, to a child?" Helmeppo asked. "Not even I would have been that demented."
"The worst part is, Eri's only six." Garp said, driving the knife even deeper. "I don't usually like killing, but for Chisaki, I'm make an exception."
~Kaen, Bon, Luffy~
"Alright, I'm gonna ask you this, one more time." Buggy said. "After this, do the both of you still honestly wanna go down to Level4?"
"Yeah, I knew you guys would come with me." Luffy said.
"Aren't we already there though?" Kaen asked.
"There's no way you're getting me down there, I already feel like my skin's melting off my bones." Mr.3 complained.
"What is it gonna take to make you realize, it is too damn hot?" Buggy asked. "Does a boiling cauldron of blood and fire sound like a good time to you? What about Blazing Hell don't you get?"
"Listen here chuckles." Kaen growled, grabbing Buggy by the front of his shirt. "My wife and unborn child's lives are on the line, and so is Ace's. I am not gonna abandon any of them, knowing I could have prevented it. So I'm not gonna let a little heat stop me."
Buggy just looked at Kaen before grabbing his wrist and pulling himself free.
"Listen here Saiyan." Buggy said. "I don't agree with what the Government is planning on doing with your wife either, but was just able to pry your hand off of me. If I'm able to do that, then you're in no condition to help her. You'll die."
"No I won't." Kaen stated. "I will save Mina. Even if I die, at least Eri will still have her mother."
"You've already picked out a name for the child? You don't even know if it's a boy or a girl." Bon said.
"No, Eri's the daughter he and Mina already have." Luffy said. "She's in the custody Vice Admiral Monkey D. Garp, my grandpa."
"If I'm able to rescue Mina, then Eri will still have her mother, and baby brother or sister in her life." Kaen stated.
"Look at you. You're barely able to stand, how do you think you're gonna save anyone in the condition you're in?" Buggy asked. "Either way, we are not going down there."
"Aw why?" Luffy asked picking his nose.
"It's pretty obvious." Buggy and Mr.3 shouted.
"We wanna go up, not down. Up, up." Mr.3 stated.
"Yeah, we're trying to escape and that's up." Buggy said. "Don't you get it?"
"Uh guys." Kaen said.
"Man, that is one really big bloody booger I just picked." Luffy said.
"You're not even listening." Mr.3 and Buggy shouted, slamming their feet on the ground.
"Guys." Kaen tried again.
"Just let them run away Straw Boi, they clearly don't have the balls to go one step further." Bon said.
"Hey, even my nose is a damn ball." Buggy complained.
"Your what, really? That is weird." Bon stated.
"HEY." Kaen said.
"WHAT?" Buggy and Mr.3 shouted at him.
"I don't know if you noticed but the floor's about to…"
Before Kaen could finish, the platform beneath their feet gave way, and they all began falling to the level bellow.
"Hey, is it just me, or does it look like the ceiling is going up?" Luffy asked.
"The platform we're on, broke off from the wall. We're falling to the level bellow." Kaen said. "My Kamehameha Wave must have done more damage then I intended."
"AAAAHHHHH WE'RE FALLING INTO HELLFIRE!" The four of them cried out.
"Oh quit being a bunch of babies." Kaen sighed. "Gather close to me, I can use some of my power to shield us should we fall into the boiling blood."
The four pirates gathered around Kaen, and clinging to him tightly, they were in shock and aw as they were enveloped in a dome of ice, that wasn't even melting in the heat.
"If I die here, it's all your fault Straw Hat." Buggy shouted.
"I don't wanna go to Level4, it's hot enough already." Mr.3 cried.
"Speaking of hot, we're heading for the pool of blood." Bon stated.
"Man, this sucks." Luffy cried out.
"Hold on." Kaen said.
Breaking through the top of the barrier of ice, Kaen pushed his Ki reserves to their limits as he flew, and grabbed the ice, before carrying it to the platform, located right over the cauldron of boiling blood.
"Alright guys, we're safe. For now at least." Kaen said, as the ice melted due to the increased intensity of the heat.
"Damn it, ow-ow-ow-ow-ow." Buggy whined as he danced on the hot platform. "The floor is insanely hot in here."
"It's so hot, my lungs feel like they're full of fire." Mr.3 stated.
"The faster we move, the faster we can get out of this place. Now which way should we go?" Luffy asked.
"Come on, this way." Kaen said, running off down the platform.
"Huh, now where could our little Saiyan be leading us?" Bon asked. "Of course, to the kitchen." He said, following Kaen.
"Why to the kitchen? I'm hungry too, but why there?" Luffy asked following Kaen as well.
"He needs food to refuel his body. An' what better means for that, then the kitchen?" Bon smiled. "Which is a good thing to, because I'm famished."
"Good point. If he gets some food in him, he'll be full of energy." Buggy said. "Crazy bastard might just be able to pull this off. But I'm not gonna lie, food does sound good, kinda hoping for some booze too."
"No, wait hold on a minute Buggy." Mr.3 said, grabbing his arm and pulling him back.
With Kaen, the Saiyan's stomach grumbled intensely, as he continued making his way to the kitchen.
'Mina's probably hungry by now. She's eating for more then herself now, so she's probably not getting enough nutrition. I'll bring her some food and take care of her for the rest of our lives.' Kaen thought, as images of a heavily pregnant Mina came to the forefront of his mind, while he was cooking for her, as she relaxed at the table. 'I'm gonna treat her like a Queen, and with the addition of this little one, she will have to settle down on an island while I keep going on adventures with Luffy and the crew.'
"What do you think he's daydreaming about?" Bon asked, noticing the look on Kaen's face.
"Probably how he's gonna treat Mina like a Queen and be there for his family. I actually know the perfect island in the East Blue, Mina can move to so she can raise Eri and the baby." Luffy said.
"There they are, Straw Hat Luffy and Kaen the Saiyan." The sound of a guard shouting echoed through the air, breaking Kaen out of his daydream.
"After them."
"Don't let them escape."
"Kill them if you have to."
"Damn, there's a bunch of them." Luffy said.
"All this heat's been beating us down. But I'll get my energy back, once I get some food in me." Kaen stated.
"Stop right there." One of the guards shouted as they neared the running trio.
Kaen and Luffy just looked to one another, before jumping into the air, with Kaen grabbing Luffy, and throwing him into the horde of guards. The impact and sudden attack took the guards by surprise, which was the perfect opportunity for Kaen and Luffy to strike, knocking each of them down without killing any of them.
"Kaen, give me a boost?" Luffy asked.
"No need to ask." Kaen smiled, throwing Luffy into the air.
"Gum-Gum: FIREWORK." Luffy cried out his attack as he spun around, curling into a ball, before throwing out multiple punches and kicks.
"Detroit: SMASH." Kaen cried out, hitting more of the guards with the air force of the thrown punch, before Luffy landed on the ground.
"Gum-Gum: WHIP." Luffy called out, throwing a kick, extended like a whip with his Devil Fruit powers.
"Around and around, and around I go. Oh come my way kempo, memoirs of a summers day." Bon called out, passing right through the group of guards, and stopping on the other side before they all were blown away, literally.
"Get the Fuck out of our way." Kaen cried out, ramming through more of the guards. 'Damn it, the Rockstars are already wearing off. I can't afford to have more of them now, they could be needed later on.'
Before Kaen could think of a plan, he jumped back, pulling Luffy away from the area with him, narrowly avoiding being hit by a blob of a purple gelatinous substance.
"What the hell?" Luffy asked as the substance began burning through the floor. "Acid? Did Mina escape somehow?"
"Not acid." Kaen said, looking up to where it came from, as it began to rain down around them. "Poison."
"Oh no look." Bon cried out, pointing upwards.
Kaen was already looking up, and glared as Warden Magellan came falling down, before landing in front of them.
"It's time to put an end to your buffoonery once and for all boys." Magellan stated.
"You're the warden of the prison?" Kaen asked.
"I am. My name, is Warden Magellan." He said. "But you can call me, your executioner. I've got you now, you criminal scum."
"We're scum?" Kaen questioned, clenching his fists. "You got a lot of nerve calling us that, when you're the ones treating prisoners who don't deserve it, inhumanely."
"Everyone clear out, the Warden's poison will get us too."
"You are scum, pirates do nothing but pillage, rape, steal, and kill. So I am justified in my claims." Magellan said. "I know why you're here, you're trying to rescue your beloved mate."
"As well as Ace." Kaen said, turning around, and showing Magellan Whitebeard's Jolly Roger tattooed on his back. "After the events on Sabaody, I was inducted into the Whitebeard Pirates, and I'm not gonna leave here without either Mina or Ace." He stated, turning back to him.
"Is that so?" Magellan asked. "Struggle as you might, the fates of you all were sealed the moment you set foot here. The Saiyan woman, and Ace will die."
"No, they won't Kaen said."
"They will. An' you know there's one thing I'm sure you're unaware of. Your precious mate, is with child." Magellan stated. "Good riddance if you ask me."
"What?" Kaen asked, gritting his teeth.
"The world will be a safer place, if there aren't any Saiyans here to conquer it." Magellan said, before he laughed triumphantly.
Kaen just grit his teeth, and glared at Magellan, feeling something snap within his psyche.
~Kaen's Mindscape~
"What's happening? Why is the mindscape shaking?" Banjo asked.
"I don't know." Oozaru said, before his eyes landed on Asura. "Oh no."
The resurrected servant was paralyzed, as streams of mist comprised of pure power, was seeping from his body, and into the ground bellow their feet.
"He's siphoning off power from Asura."
~Level6~
"What's going on?" Jinbe asked as the surrounding area began to shake.
"Oh no." Mina said. "This surge in power. Someone's pushed Kaen over the edge."
"What's that mean?" Ace asked.
"It means he's gonna destroy the entire prison, if he's not stopped." Mina stated.
~Marineford~
"Celeron, what's the matter?" Chisaki asked, seeing the Nomu Saiyan as he was out on the balcony, staring off into the distance.
"It can't be." Celeron growled. "This power, I've haven't felt anything like it, since the battle of All Might against All-for-One."
~Impel Down~
"You. Monster." Kaen growled, his body trembling with anger, as the platform over the boiling cauldron shook, with droplets of poison and boiling blood, as well as rubble from the fight, began defying gravity and floated into the air.
Magellan's laughter stopped, when he realized the rumbling was happening all around him.
"You think. You can just take the life of my wife, and child, and laugh about it?"
Kaen took a single step forward, and from the ground, a trail of ice shot forward, traveling rapidly throughout the level, and dousing the flames of the cauldron bellow, covering the entire level in a sheet of thick ice.
Magellan was in total shock, before he looked down at Kaen, and saw his hair had taken on an icy blue tint, with what he couldn't describe as anything else but scales of ice on his cheeks, shoulders, and forearms, with icy blue flames spewing from his upper arms. Luffy looked at Kaen, recognizing that he was in his Wukong form, but something was different. It wasn't red, it now was different shades of icy blue.
"Impossible." Magellan gasped. "This is… Admiral Aokiji's power."
"The… the entire fourth level has been frozen solid." Bon gasped, his eyes bulging out. "This shouldn't be happening, it shouldn't be possible. Just what kind of power did he tap into when Magellan laughed at Kaen's wife and child dying? I thought Saiyan boy was on his last legs. What is this?"
"Love, Bon." Luffy said. "He tapped into the power of his love for his family, and the rage he has towards the World Government."
(Cue Music… Finish Line: Skillet)
Vanishing from sight, Magellan was still in shock at what Kaen had done to the fourth level, before he was taken out of his stupor, when the Saiyan slammed his fist into the Warden's stomach, sending him flying back.
"I will not allow, my wife to die. Not by the hands of this corrupt Government." Kaen declared.
Running forward, Kaen grabbed Magellan by his face, and slammed him down into the ice covered ground, before flipping forward and landing on his feet.
"Anyone else?" Kaen questioned.
"Get him."
"Don't let him escape."
"Damn Pirate, you will pay for what you've done to the Warden."
"Rush him, he can't take us all at once."
"Now Gum-Gum: BAZOOKA!" Luffy cried out as both his hands came rushing past the motionless Kaen, and hit the oncoming guards.
Without missing a beat, Kaen ran at the guards that were still standing, and with ice manifesting on his hands, he hit each of them with an icy strike, causing the ice to grow over their bodies before connecting and being sealed in a glacier of ice.
"That the last of them?" Luffy asked.
"I think so." Bon said. "My goodness Saiyan. You know how to take your enemies by surprise. What did you do to get this strong after you were barely standing just moments ago?"
"Anger and rage can be powerful boosters. For me, they allowed my body to take back the energy that had been siphoned from my Zenkai…"
Kaen's eyes widened, as he stopped before pushing Bon and Luffy down, helping them dodge as Magellan sent a poisoned hydra head at them, and took Kaen into its jaws.
"Kaen." Luffy called out.
"AAAAHHHHH." Kaen cried out, as the acidic poison had started burning through his skin.
"You're mine now, you damned pirate." Magellan said.
"Let him go." Luffy shouted, steam pouring from his body. "Second Gear."
Running at Magellan, Luffy jumped from the ground, barely avoiding another hydra head, before he pulled his arms back.
"Gum-Gum: Jet Gatling!" Luffy called out, throwing his punches at the Warden.
While Luffy was keeping Warden Magellan busy, Kaen condensed a Ki blast, and hit the Hydra head with it, freezing the acidic liquid to ice, before shattering it to pieces as he broke free.
"MAGELLAN." Kaen cried out as he fell right at the warden.
Magellan looked up, right as Kaen came crashing down and hit him with his fists like a hammer, shredding his hat with the force of impact, and let a loud cracking sound echo around the fourth level of hell.
"This ends now." He stated, pushing harder with his strike.
Magellan grit his teeth in pain, as his neck bent in the wrong direction. Never the less, he remained determined to keep the prison's reputation spotless, and forced himself to remain conscious, before he created another hydra head, and used it to grab both Kaen and Luffy, drenching them in the acidic poison.
(End Song…)
From the lump of acidic death, Magellan could see movement on its surface, and he wasn't even shocked anymore, when Kaen stood up from the goop, with Luffy on his knees, both of them weakened, and in pain from the poison.
"I'm not… done yet…" Kaen huffed, his Icy Wukong form fading. "You hear me? I will save Ace, and Mina." He stated. "Because I am a Saiyan Warrior, and my pride is my…"
Kaen was stopped, when one of the guards stabbed him from behind with a pitchfork, and the sharp ends of the weapon pierced clean through his shoulder, and he fell forward, landing in the sludge of poison that permeated his nostrils. The Saiyan's consciousness was fading fast, as he just kept glaring at the Warden, with a burning hatred in his heart for the man who ate the Venom-Venom Fruit.
"Seems like you're not as strong as the Saiyans from twenty years ago." Magellan stated. "Good work men. Now then take them down to Level…"
Kaen missed the rest of what the warden said, as he was consumed by the dark of unconsciousness.
~Sometime Later~
"Their legacy was left behind, engraved in one of the rooms we found within the castle. The technique involves two people, and a dance of some sort, that requires them to be in synch with one another." The familiar sound of Athena's voice echoed through Kaen's head, before he was awakened with a throbbing pain, that was worse then any migraine he'd experienced within his life.
"What the hell's going on?" Kaen questioned, his eyesight blurry as he forced himself up into a sitting position. Looking around, the Saiyan found himself in an empty room, filled with nothing but himself, and his thoughts. "Where's Luffy, and Bon?"
Heading down the open path, Kaen could hear the sound of screaming, in what sounded like never ending pain, coming from one of the other pathways. He thought it best to avoid anymore conflict for the time being, and just find where he was. He didn't feel like he was on any of the levels he'd gone through before, so this had to be something else, but what it could possibly be, was the question.
Managing to get closer, Kaen found himself at a wooden door, with voices coming from the other side. With gritted teeth, and determination, Kaen didn't have a choice but to open the door, and so he did. When the entrance to the room swung open, the Saiyan teen was forced to close his eyes momentarily, before they adjusted, and he saw in front of him, a room full of men, women, and those in between, full of queer folk, and those who.
"Where am I?" Kaen questioned. "I'm pretty sure Bon would love this place." He said, before tripping over his own feet.
"Ah-ah-ah. Easy there Monkey Boi." Someone said, as they caught him.
"The hell did you just call me?" Kaen asked, turning his head to whoever spoke, before his eyes bugged out, when he saw a large man, dressed in drag with purple hair and a big chin.
"I said take it easy, Monkey Boi. Or do you wanna cause your body to shut down permanently? The name's Ivankov by the way. But you you can just call me Iva."
"That's not what I meant. Don't call me a monkey, that's an offensive racial slur towards a Saiyan." Kaen said.
"My apologies." Iva said. "Anyways, I would recommend you don't overwork yourself. You looked like you were having a nightmare last I saw when I came in to check on you."
"I wouldn't call it a nightmare per say. But it did feel like I was experiencing memories that weren't my own, yet at the same time they were. Almost like, I was there in person myself." Kaen said.
"Well what did you see?"
"I saw my sister… and then my wife and some of my friends, as we were practicing some sort of technique developed by a people, long extinct who were known as Metamorans." Kaen said.
"Interesting. Could it have something to do with whatever's glowing inside your chest?" Iva asked. "It's been beating like a heart for hours. You were even stone cold dead before it started beating."
Kaen looked down at his chest, and through the bandages wrapped around his torso, he saw a light glowing, with each pulse of energy from the Wukong Gem, strongest in time with his heartbeat.
"Maybe. That's just my Wukong Gem, it's a long story, don't ask where or how I got it." Kaen stated.
"Don't worry, I won't."
"So… if you brought me here, then I'm assuming you also brought my Captain and friend here too?"
"Saiyan Boi?"
Kaen turned around to see Bon, standing in the doorway and wrapped head to toe in bandages.
"Bon. Thank goodness you're alive." Kaen said. "What happened to you?"
"These are nothing, compared to what you and Straw Boi have been through." Bon said. "You both had been taken to Level5, the Freezing Hell, and I came to save you. Fighting through packs of wolves and gales of blizzards. But I never gave up, because of my friendship with you and your Captain."
"You're a good friend Bon." Kaen said. "I'm sure you'd make for an excellent Straw Hat."
"Well, you two decided to join us, did ya?" One of the missing inmates said, noticing them.
"It was about time you both woke up. You were sleeping forever, and we were starting to get worried. Either of you care for a drink?"
"Raise 'em for the newcomers everyone, cheers."
"Cheers."
"We've been watching you guys, on our monitors. Bravo, quite the show."
"What is this place?" Bon asked.
"I'm just as confused as you are." Kaen said.
"I'll seat you both. What floors did you come from by the way?" One of them asked, taking Kaen and Bon by their wrists.
"Broke in."
"Level3." Bon said.
"We've got plenty to eat here, I'd guess you're both pretty hungry."
"Wait." Bon said, freeing himself. "Where are we? Where's Straw Boi?"
"Oh, what. Do you think you somehow magically made it out of the prison?"
"Don't worry, you're both still in Impel Down."
"No way, that's a lie. No one's wearing any prison clothes." Bon said, slamming his hands on a table. "Everyone's drinking and having fun. Did I wake up in some kind of paradise? What's the deal?"
"Try to relax Bon." Kaen said. "Stressing about this won't help the situation any. We have to keep a level head, if we're to free Ace and Mina. But first we gotta find Luffy. It's obvious we're not dead, if this beating gem in my chest is any indication about that."
"You're both a couple of smart cookies." A new voice said.
Kaen and Bon turned to see a woman with orange hair on the left side of her head, and white on the right, along with clothes to match.
'Why do I feel like she's somehow related to Todoroki?' Kaen questioned.
"You've both been asleep for ten hours now."
"Ten hours?" Kaen asked. "Then we don't have much time left to free Mina and Ace."
"That's insane. An' who are you?" Bon asked.
"My name, is Inazuma." The woman said before looking to Kaen. "I believe you've already met Ivankov? The leader of our ragtag team."
"Hold on, are you the one who dragged us here from Level5?" Kaen asked. "I don't remember any of it."
"Well what's the last thing you do remember?" Inazuma asked.
"I remember Magellan giving his guards orders, and I blacked out before I could hear them completely. I was drenched in his poison." Kaen stated.
"Poison that a gem that protruded from your chest out of nowhere, had started to absorb like a powerful magnet with iron sand." Inazuma said. "Either way, the three of you were lucky you didn't die from exposure."
"Wait, you said the three of us?" Bon asked. "Does that mean you brought Straw Boi here too? Well then where is he? Speak up, answer me damn you, there's no time."
"Bon." Kaen sighed. "I think I might know where he is."
"You do?"
"On my way here, I heard screaming, as if someone were in immense pain. My sense of hearing was still somewhat out of it, so I didn't recognize the voice at the time, but I do believe it was Luffy I heard." Kaen stated, rubbing his eyes.
"Something wrong with your eyes Saiyan Boi?" Bon asked.
"Just some irritation." Kaen said, blinking them away. "But we can't let small things distract us, we need to find a way out of here, and rescue Mina and Ace."
"Patience now, both of you." Inazuma said, before taking a sip of wine. "Let him, explain things to you."
"Him, who?" Bon asked, before the lights turned off.
"Oh, the lights are down, it's time."
"The show's starting."
"You'll both want a front row seat." Inazuma stated, leading Kaen and Bon to the front of the stage.
"What, is this?" Bon inquired as the curtains were drawn.
"I think we're about to find out." Kaen said as the light reveal Iva was on stage, his back to the crowd. 'I hadn't even noticed he'd left and gone somewhere else when Bon entered. Just who in the world is Ivankov?'
"Did you sleep tight, little candy boys?" Iva asked.
"I guess this performance is to welcome us." Kaen said.
"Or should I say, little Bon and Kaen Boys?" Iva corrected.
"How… do you know our names?" Bon asked.
"Thank you for coming." Iva said, shaking his hips. "Are you ready?"
"I don't think I'm comfortable with being here." Kaen said as a guitar started strumming.
"To get here, you have to pass through the sewers of Impel Down." Iva said, kicking up the mic stand. "Following paths, that shouldn't exist, to a place beyond imagination. It's a prisoners paradise."
"Well, at least he's honest about how we got here. Just hope I don't get lockjaw." Kaen stated.
"We've got every pleasure you could ever beg for, right here." Iva said. "Drinks, women, games. But most of all… we have freedom." He said, as the crowd began to cheer.
"Yeah you said it, we got our freedom."
"Looks like the jailers are playing their tops, again. Prisoners have disappeared, they've been pulled down into hell." Iva continued. "Those silly little fools couldn't be more wrong. We're here and we're Queer. I wouldn't exactly call this hell, would you? Well who knows, maybe it is? Well if so, maybe it's a gay one. The secret underground where dreams come true. I bid you two welcome, to Impel Down Level5.5 bitches, a secret garden for all y'all prisoners."
"They're… all Queer like me?" Bon asked.
"Seems like it." Kaen said. "Seems like Iva's the one in charge here."
"Wait, did you say Iva?"
"Yeah?"
"Then… that's the Miracle Worker." Bon said. "Iva's the only one I had hope who'd heal you and Straw Boi."
"Hate to break it to you Bon, but Iva didn't do anything to me aside from wrap me up in bandages." Kaen said, before directing Bon's gaze to the literal shining light within his chest. "I died from that poison by the time they got us here. I think my Wukong Gem, is acting as a pseudo heart, until I can get a Senzu Bean to properly heal myself, after it cleared my system from all Magellan's poison."
"Then, Straw Boi still needs help. We have to appease to Iva, before it's too late." Bon said, before turning back to the stage as Iva's performance ended. "I'm never mistaken, you're Iva the Miracle Worker, aren't you?"
"Oh, goodness. So you've heard about little old me, have you?" Iva asked.
"Hey watch your mouth, show some respect when you're talking to Iva."
"He's royalty pal."
"Yeah? Well so am I." Kaen said. "I've got the blood of the Saiyan Royal Family flowing through my veins. So watch your attitude, I'm in a temper-mental mood."
"Yes sir." The two said backing away from him.
"You're a King?" Bon asked.
"More like a branch of member of the Royal Family on my bio-dad's side of the family." Kaen said. "But they don't need to know about that little detail."
"Hush now my little candies. I appreciate the admiration, but don't sweat the small stuff. I'm not worried about silly things like labels. People can call me whatever they like, they can even call me dukie." Iva said. "NEVER CALL ME DUKIE."
"Emporio Ivankov." Someone shouted, kicking in the door to the party room.
Everyone in the room turned around to see it was a broad muscle bound man, holding a large firearm, and a large scar over his left shoulder. He looked pretty angry, as it seemed he had a bone to pick with Iva.
"I can't imagine anyone but bigots having a problem with King Iva." Kaen said. "Iva, mind if I handle this guy?"
"Hmm? Go ahead my little candy boi."
"Never call me that, again." Kaen tsked.
"Just be sure you don't reopen your wounds in the process." Iva stated, giving him a shoeing motion. "Now get to it."
"Yeah, yeah I hear ya." Kaen said, cracking his knuckles, as he stepped forward. "Hey buddy, what's your business with Iva?"
"Out of my way, this doesn't concern you. This is between me and Iva." The man said, aiming the shoulder cannon held under his arm, at Kaen. "I've been looking for him. He was the Queen of Kambakka Kingdom. Fifteen years ago, my father, who was the King of my homeland, visited that country of freaks, and then he… HE CAME BACK TO US AS A QUEEN. Do you have any idea how ashamed I was? His family, and his country were ruined. An' I fell from my princely status, to nothing but a lowly pirate. But all the days I spent suffering in this living hell were worth it, if I got one shot at the monster who destroyed my life."
"So you're pissed your dad decided to get a sex change, and went to Iva for help with that?" Kaen asked. "Dude, your anger is misplaced. If your father wanted that, then it's on him, not Iva. Besides there's nothing wrong with any of that, just let it be. You're all family, and there's nothing wrong, with family wanting to change for the better, and stop pretending to be something their not. Two mothers and one son, two fathers and one daughter? I seriously don't see anything wrong with what you're throwing a fit about."
"Shut up, what would you know?" The man questioned, firing the shoulder cannon at Kaen.
Kaen held out his arm, and with an open palm, grabbed the shot, before he used the momentum to spin, and throw it in a back hand, straight towards the man, sending him out the door.
Stepping up to him, as the attacker picked himself up, Kaen just looked down at him, and glared.
"Leave, and keep your mouth shut about this, or I will finish what I've started here." Kaen growled.
"Yes sir." The man said, running off away from him.
"My, that was quite the impressive show of power Saiyan Boi." Iva said.
"Even injured, he'll keep on fighting." Bon said, sounding rather impressed.
"Now, Iva. Let's have a chat." Kaen said.
~Marineford~
"Any luck?" Overhaul questioned Celeron, as the Saiyan returned to their room.
"Not a shred. After that large surge of power coming from the direction of Impel Down, my flying fortress has been treating me like an intruder, rather then its ally. It's like the USJ all over again." Celeron growled. "It's as if another power has taken over its controls entirely, while being named its new master."
"That is a problem." Overhaul said. "Do you think you'll be able to get the situation handled by the time we have to go? The war is in less then three days."
"If not, I can use a teleportation Quirk to get us back to Earth, if I supercharge it with Ki that is." Celeron stated. "Not to worry though, I'm sure it'll be fine. Once we have Eri back, we'll be set to return to Earth without a hitch."
~Impel Down Level5.5~
"Bon Boi, Saiyan Boi." Iva began, leading them down a pathway to a sealed off area. "Did either of you stop to wonder why we treated your injuries in the first place?"
"To be quite honest, I hadn't noticed." Bon said.
"I actually thought of that yes. It couldn't have been easy to get your hands on the medical materials to treat us so well, given the circumstances." Kaen said.
"You'd be right about that. We're all just prisoners down here, we don't have the means to simply take in anyone we find injured." Iva said. "We're not nearly so kind."
"Then something, or someone, managed to convince you to do so." Kaen said.
"You see, I took you in and treated the both you, because your friend begged me to do it." Iva stated.
"Straw Boi did what?" Bon asked.
"That idiot." Kaen said. "He's too stubborn to let any of his friends die."
"Well, we mainly did it for you Saiyan Boi, because the Revolutionary Army, owes a great debt to Whitebeard and his crew, once we saw the Jolly Roger on your back." Iva stated. "Sadly, we were too late, but thankfully that gem inside your chest, is acting as a heart."
"So Luffy begged for you to help us?" Kaen asked. "That's definitely something he would do."
"Straw Boi?" Bon asked.
"I didn't even know that the flower of friendship could bloom in a hellhole like this." Iva said. "But I do know, if I didn't help him, I'd be no better then a demon in human guise. Anyhow I already started treatment on your buddy Straw Boi, about ten hours ago."
"You did?" Bon asked, as they stopped in front of a door, sealed off with giant chains and a pad lock to keep it sealed. The screaming inside was one Kaen recognized from when he first woke up.
"I did." Iva said. "But it's gonna be rough."
"That sounds awful, what's going on in there?" Bon questioned. "You call this healing?"
"What's happening to him?" Kaen asked.
"He's been screaming like this, the entire duration of his treatment." Iva said. "But I assure you that's part of the process. We've locked him away for safety, this'll last another two days."
"What did you say?" Bon asked, falling to his knees. "Are you pulling my tail? Straw Boi has been wailing in agony like that, for ten hours?"
"Spirit and hormones. These are the vital forces of the human body." Iva said. "Of any body really. Combined, the two bring forth a tremendous healing potential."
"What did you do, exactly?" Kaen asked.
"I have drawn out his latent immunity, and changed his body to be able to battle with the deadly poison." Iva said. "Only time will tell, which of the two of them is stronger."
"Then there's nothing to really do, aside from supporting him as best we can." Kaen said. "Right Bon?"
"Within that body lies a battlefield of destruction and recovery, raging away at extraordinary speeds. He will survive only if he can withstand all that pain, and escaping from death does not come cheap." Iva said sympathetically. "You could take a look inside if you really want to."
Bon and Kaen went to the door, as Luffy's cries of agony became worse, and echoed throughout the air.
"Is there a window?" Bon asked, feeling around the door.
"Bon."
The Ballerina man looked to Kaen, and saw a horrified look on the Saiyan's face, with gritted teeth, when he saw what was inside the room.
"What is it?"
"Don't… you don't wanna see this." Kaen said.
"Out of my way." Bon said, pushing Kaen aside, before he gasped when he saw Luffy.
The Straw Hat pirate captain, was chained to a metal table, his body convulsing, and writhing against the chains, as his hair was practically white, and his skin was pale as the moon. Blotches of dried poison were stuck to his skin, with his cries of pain resonating within their eardrums.
"I told you." Kaen said. "You shouldn't have looked."
"Oh how awful, he's gonna die." Bon cried. "It's gonna tear him apart. His body will be destroyed from the inside out. That… that wasn't even him in there. It was a living corpse. I'm begging you here, don't let him suffer like that, you have to do something please."
"HEY LUFFY." Kaen shouted. "YOU CAN DO THIS. FIGHT THAT POISON AND COME BACK, ACE STILL NEEDS YOU."
"What are you doing Saiyan Boi?" Bon asked.
"There's nothing Iva can do. He's done all he can for Luffy, and as I said, this is what we can do for him." Kaen stated. "KEEP FIGHTING LUFFY. DON'T LET THAT POISON KICK YOUR ASS. YOU'VE STILL GOTTA SAVE YOUR BROTHER, AND BECOME KING OF THE PIRATES."
"While I find his shouts of encouragement to be futile, he's right. I'm helping him the only way I can." Iva said. "Don't underestimate the human will to live. Do you have any idea what it takes to strive against one's own mortality, to face the ultimate odds? I'm not a God or an angel, or anything like that. A miracle worker? You can call me whatever the hell you want, but the truth of the matter is this, I could never save a fool, who doesn't have the will to save himself. I saved an impoverished country, and a country that was left in ruin after defeating war. But in both cases, all I did was draw out their own spirit to live. That can only happen to people who have the courage to keep on fighting. Making miracles is never easy."
"But, that's the only thing that will save him right, a miracle?" Kaen asked.
"Nothing less. Even then, it'll take a tremendous one for Straw Hat to survive after everything he's been through." Iva said. "He's in rough shape."
"You said it takes spirit and courage to make a miracle work, and Straw Boi's got both." Bon stated, as Luffy cried out in pain again. "I know he can do it, he can do anything. That's why I'm not nervous in the least."
"Then practice what you preach, and take a deep breath. All we can do is trust in him." Iva said, walking off back down the hall.
~Pub~
"So Iva, I've been curious about something." Kaen said. "I've been trying to get a read on your power, it feels similar to Ki I've sensed from other Devil Fruit users, but it's muddled up right now, like a teenager going through puberty."
"I am so glad you asked." Iva smiled stepping up to him.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Kaen inquired, before Iva stuck needle like nails protruding from his fingers into his neck, and began pumping something into the Saiyans veins. "The hell? What did you just stick me with?"
"Emporio Female Hormones!" Iva said, as Kaen felt something burning within his body as it began to change, with the gem in his chest glowing brighter momentarily. "I had planned on using that intruder earlier to demonstrate my powers to you and Bon Boi, but you'll make a fine example."
"The hell?" Kaen questioned, as he felt his body changing.
"I ate the Horm-Horm Fruit." Iva said. "It gave me the fabulous power to alter the hormones of anyone I see. I can change their sex, skin color, body temperature, growth, even their emotions. I can remodel people, from the inside out. I'm like an engineer of the human body. The candy bois and candy girls you see here have really used my help to kick gender in its sorry pants. Some men became women, and some women men, but all of those hang ups are a thing of the past."
"How is this possible, I'm not even human." Kaen grunted, his voice going higher in pitch.
"Oh sweetheart, it doesn't matter. My powers can affect all species of life, animals, humans, even Saiyans apparently." Iva said, as Kaen's transformation was complete.
Sitting at the table, where a big strapping young man used to be, was now a well endowed young woman, with the Saiyan's black and hair, Kaen's pants, and the bandages covering her chest, acting as a bra for her now bigger chest, and a monkey tail flicking behind her in anxiousness.
"The hell? Change me back right now Iva." Kaen said, before slapping a hand over her mouth, as she found her voice resembling her classmate, Momo's. "Oh come on, my voice too? You gotta change me back now, please I am begging you."
"Not gonna happen." Iva smiled. "At least not for a while. You gotta wait at least six hours, before I can safely use my power on you again to switch you back to normal."
"Oh." Kaen groaned, before looking down and squeezing her chest together. "I'm bigger then Mina, and she's an I-Cup."
"Tell me, are Female Saiyans naturally stronger then their male counterparts?" Iva asked.
"It doesn't work like that." Kaen sighed, picking up her drink. "The Saiyans culture was always based around raw strength, and one's power level. Gender didn't matter, so long as your power level was high enough, or so my mother told me."
"My, what a barbaric yet equal culture." Iva said. "What brings you here from your home world of powerhouses then?"
"It's not there anymore." Kaen said. "The day after I was born, Planet Vegeta, the second home world of the Saiyans, was destroyed by a galactic tyrant named Frieza, wiping out most of the Saiyans in the process, leaving a few survivors who either managed to escape, or were off world when it happened. My mother, siblings, and myself, happen to be members of the former group, who managed to escape before its destruction."
"Second home planet?" Bon asked. "But what happened to the first?"
"Planet Sadala? It was ravaged, and destroyed by civil war. According to my mom, the planet was split down the middle, with the two halves just floating dead in their place of the solar system they are a part of." Kaen explained. "The survivors of each side, went their own ways after that, with the crueler Saiyans taking over what used to be Planet Tuffle, and naming it Planet Vegeta, after the first King of that planet."
"My, then I suppose there might be more of you out there then you think." Iva said.
"Not likely." Kaen sighed. "During the great separation, those who opposed the tyrannical King Vegeta on Planet Sadala, were killed in a collapsing star, that devolved into a black hole, before Beerus the destroyer took care of the problem, but was unable to save any of the planets or lifeforms that got caught in its destructive path."
"Beerus?"
"A God of Destruction." Kaen said. "My mom had the pleasure of being the head chef when he came to Planet Vegeta to visit the King, some days before its destruction. He, along with the Kai's of our universe, do their best to keep the peace, and balance out the universe as much as possible. But the universe is not in balance, due to the Frost Demon Empire that rose up some 3000 years ago."
"I see." Iva said. "So why hasn't the Frost Demon Empire targeted this planet yet?"
"Who says they haven't?" Kaen asked.
"What?"
"The Saiyan attack that happened years ago, that happened because Frieza sought out this planet, and sent some of the Saiyans under his command, to conquer it for him." Kaen said.
"How many did Frieza have under his control before he destroyed Planet Vegeta?" Bon asked, taking a swig of his drink.
"The entire planet." Kaen said, causing Bon to spit take.
"What?"
"That cannot be true." Iva said.
"It is." Kaen stated. "Frieza's father, King Cold, enslaved the Saiyan Race, forcing them to work under him, before her retired and left half the empire to Frieza."
"Half the Empire? What happened with the other half?" Bon asked.
"It was given to Frieza's older brother, Cooler." Kaen said. "Cooler didn't want the Saiyans, so Frieza was given them instead."
"That's crazy." Iva said.
"Putting aside the galactic tyrant for now. What are we gonna do about Ace and Mina?" Kaen asked putting her drink down.
"I don't follow." Iva stated.
"I happen to know for a fact that Level6 actually exists. An' that's most likely where Ace and Mina are being held. Ace is Luffy's brother, and Mina is my wife. Luffy and I broke into Impel Down, so we could free, and rescue them from execution, and put a stop between the War with Whitebeard, and the World Government, before it even begins." Kaen said. "It's the whole reason why we're here in the first place."
"That's such a shame. Unfortunately though, unlike all the other levels, there are no secret passageways, or hidden entrances to this place in Level6." Iva said. "There are criminals on that level, that wouldn't have any trouble, getting their hands dirty just for the fun of it. They'd even kill an entire country if they wanted to, women and children included. There was even one who managed to escape by cutting off his own legs."
"You're talking about Shiki the Golden Lion, right?" Kaen asked.
"I see you're aware of the man."
"Not just aware." Kaen said. "I fought the bastard, and kicked his ass for what he had his scientist do to my daughter."
"Oh my. I hope your pride wasn't wounded when he defeated you. You might have kicked his ass, but that doesn't mean you necessarily beat him." Iva said.
"I destroyed his flying archipelago, and sent him sinking to the bottom of the ocean where he belongs." Kaen said, causing Iva to spit take this time. "Though to be fair, his heart stopped beating when my daughter hit him with a massive surge of electricity. It was his own downfall, as she only got that ability with what he did to her."
"Just how strong are you?" Bon asked.
"Not strong enough, apparently. If I couldn't keep either my wife or daughter from being captured." Kaen stated. "I have a being inside me, he's been skimming power from the top, after each Zenkai Boost, just keeping me strong enough that I could fight, but not be strong enough to destroy this entire planet in one attack."
"That's possible?" Iva asked.
"For a Saiyan? Hell yeah it's possible." Kaen said, putting her drink down. "The former King's son, Vegeta the 4th, is capable of destroying planets with only a fraction of his power, with one strike."
"Former King?" Bon asked.
"Apparently, there was someone who challenged King Vegeta the 3rd, for the Throne, via a trial of combat, and won. Taking the throne for himself, and starting a new royal lineage, a few days before I was born." Kaen explained. "At least, according to what my mom told me when I asked her about Planet Vegeta, and its monarch."
"Was every monarch on your planet named Vegeta?" Iva asked.
"Pretty much since Vegeta the First." Kaen stated. "So ego driven, he even named the Saiyans new home world after himself."
"I'll say. No wonder he was a tyrannical ruler. He certainly had the ego for it." Iva said.
"No kidding." Bone said.
"I bet he was a major creep as well." Iva added.
"But we're veering off track again." Kaen said. "We still need to figure out what we're gonna do about Ace and Mina, since our currently plan is dead in the water with Luffy the way he is."
"Right, Straw Boi has to save himself first, which unfortunately means you're out of time. Ace Boi and Mina, are set to be executed this afternoon at 3pm. I believe they're gonna transfer them to Navy Headquarters sometime this morning." Iva stated.
"What?" Kaen questioned, getting to her feet. "You mean to tell me we've been sitting here, with our thumbs up our asses, on the day of execution?"
"Well yes. How long did you think you've been dead for?" Iva asked.
"Show me to an exit to Level5. I can get to Level6 from there on my own." Kaen said.
"It won't do you any good." Iva said. "Ever since your little stunt, security's been tightened immensely."
"I don't care." Kaen exclaimed, slamming her fist on the table, her body trembling as an aura flared around her with the gem glowing brightly. "Mina, is down there, and she's not alone."
"Yes, she has Jinbe and Ace Boi to keep her company." Iva said.
"That's not what Kaen means." Bon said with a serious tone. "Mina is pregnant. She's carrying possibly the next generation the Saiyan Race, and possibly a future pirate."
"Oh dear." Iva said.
"I don't care what it take." Kaen said, her body growing as the light irradiated off it.
"What in the world?" Iva questioned. "He's… his body's fighting my Horm-Horm Fruit powers." He said, as Kaen returned from being a woman, to being a man. "What kind of Haki is this?"
"I'm sorry Luffy." Kaen hissed. "I know you're in pain, but I have a duty to my wife and Whitebeard's crew right now."
With his aura flaring up like white flames, Kaen flew through the air, and out the door, making a sharp turn in the tunnel. It took some time, but he found the exit, and managed to reach Level5. As he flew through the air, the ground beneath him left a trail as the snow was removed, revealing multiple frozen corpses that had been left for dead, and had been picked at by the predators of the Level.
"I'M COMING MINA!" Kaen shouted.
