Rosie was getting ready for her date when there was a knock on her door.

"Yes?" Rosie said

Callie came in. "What are you doing?"

"Getting ready for my date." Rosie said

"Wait. You're still going!?" Callie asked

"Yes. Why wouldn't I?" Rosie asked confusion on her face

"Um. Well. I. Never mind." Callie said going to leave the room.

"Callie. What did you do?" Rosie asked

"Nothing." Callie said as she closed the door to the room.

Rosie sighed. She finished getting ready and went downstairs.

Dave had gotten home earlier that day and he and Hunter were watching the news.

"You look very nice." Hunter said

Rosie smiled. "Thank you."

"Are you ready?" Dave asked

"Yes." Rosie said "Um. Did Callie tell you two something?" Rosie asked

"Something about what?" Dave asked

"About my date tonight." Rosie said

"She might have." Dave said

Rosie let out a breath and mumbled "Shit."

"We don't like that you weren't exactly straight up about where you are going to be but we also know you are growing up and that this is going to happen." Dave said

Rosie nodded.

There was a knock on the door.

"Go. Enjoy your night." Hunter said

Rosie smiled and went and opened the door.

Nolan smiled and kissed her "Hey."

Rosie smiled and kissed him back. "Hey."

"You're ready?" Nolan asked

"Yes." Rosie said

She linked arms with him. "I'll be home by curfew." She called out

"Have fun." Dave called out.

They left.

"How was your day yesterday?" Nolan asked

"Eventful." Rosie said

"Oh?" Nolan asked

"I don't want to bring the date down. I would have called you yesterday but time got away from me." Rosie said

"Rose. I want to know." He said opening her car door.

Rosie got in. Nolan closed her door and went around and got in on his side.

The both put on seatbelts and the drive started.

"So. What happened?" Nolan asked

Rosie lifted up the sleeve of her dress to show the scratch that was already healing. "It was worse yesterday."

"Okay. What happened? You get scratched on a climbing wall?" Nolan asked

"No. Can we talk about it later?" Rosie said

"Okay." Nolan said

"Seriously?" Rosie asked

"Sure." Nolan said with a smile

They pulled up to the restaurant and went inside. They were seated.

"Seems like a very nice place." Rosie said with a smile

"Its supposed to be very good." Nolan said

They both looked at the menu. They ordered once they were ready and ate when the food came. Nolan paid and they headed out to the car.

Nolan started the drive to the hotel.

Rosie was quiet.

"Are you okay?" Nolan asked

"Yes." Rosie said

"You're sure you're ready for this?" Nolan asked

"Yes. I am." Rosie said

"Than why so quiet?" Nolan asked

"I'm just thinking." Rosie said

"You're sure?" Nolan asked, "You can tell me anything."

"I'll tell you after." Rosie said

"Nope. You're going to tell me now. I'm not going into this with secrets between us." Nolan said

"If I tell you it might not happen." Rosie said

"Well than maybe it shouldn't." Nolan said

"Seriously?" Rosie asked

"If you cant tell me what is on your mind than we clearly aren't ready." Nolan said

"My parents know were planning to have sex." She blurted out

"Oh. How?" Nolan asked

"Callie overheard us on the phone talking about it. And told them." Rosie said

"I see." Nolan said, "But they didn't stop you from coming out?"

"They are okay with it." Rosie said

Nolan nodded "But is it making you feel weird about having sex because they know?"

"Kind of." Rosie said

"Does it make you want to reconsider?" Nolan asked

"Kind of…" Rosie said

"Okay. We can wait." Nolan said

"Why are you so okay with this?" Rosie asked

"Because I love you. And I don't want to take this next step unless we are both fully ready." Nolan said

"You are going to have to pay for the hotel room either way…" Rosie said

"We can go hang out. Watch a movie." Nolan said

Rosie took a breath "Okay."

Nolan drove there and they went inside and to the room. Nolan checked in and they both went up to the room.

They both flopped on the bed and turned on the TV.

Rosie snuggled into him. Nolan smiled and put his arm around her.

"You going to tell me about the scratch?" Nolan asked

"Matthew's girlfriend after he was arrested. Connected it to something to do with me. We were both at the rock climbing gym and well she tried to attack me. Scratch was the worst of it." Rosie said

"I see." Nolan said

"Police were called. Statement made." Rosie said

"Your uncle" Nolan asked

"No. Different district." Rosie said

Nolan nodded. "You're pressing charges?"

"Haven't decided yet." Rosie said, "I think she might just have been manipulated by him."

"Its possible." Nolan said

"You think I should press charges?" Rosie asked

"Yes. If it was a one time thing nothing will come of it and if there is a history that we don't know about its better she gets what is coming to her." Nolan said

Rosie looked up at him. "Can we change the subject?"

"Yes." Nolan said.

She kissed him. He kissed her back.

Before long clothes were off and they were doing what they had planned for the night. They fell asleep after. She woke up a little later and looked at her phone.

"Shit!" She said

Nolan woke up with a start.

"What's wrong?" Nolan asked

"I need to be home in ten minutes." She said

They both got up and threw their clothes back on. She texted her dad.

'On my way home. I'm sorry I lost track of time I might be a little later than curfew.' She sent

When they were both ready they headed out and started the drive to her place.

"I will get you home just a few minutes late." He said

"Already sent a text saying I'll be a bit late. Don't speed please." Rosie said

"Yes dear." He said with a smile "You okay?"

Rosie let out a breath and smiled. "Yes. You?"

"Very much so." Nolan said

Nolan pulled into her driveway. They both got out and Nolan walked her to the door.

"Thank you for a great night." Nolan said giving her a kiss

She kissed him back "Was pretty good for me too."

"Good." He said kissing her again.

She kissed him once more before opening the door and going inside.

Nolan smiled and left.

"Office." Dave said

Rosie went in. "Hi…"

"You're late." He said

"I texted you…" Rosie said

"I know." Dave said

"Am I still in trouble?" Rosie asked

"Did you really lose track of time?" Dave asked

"Kinda…" Rosie said

Dave raised an eyebrow.

"Look I know you want me to talk to you about everything. But there is a limit. Can we just leave it at I lost track of time and that it wont happen again?" Rosie asked

"You were safe?" He asked

"Yes." Rosie said

"Go. Get some sleep." Dave said

"Night. Love you." She said

"Love you too. Good night." He said

Rosie went upstairs to her room. She went in and found Callie asleep on her bed.

Rosie sighed. She went and showered before getting ready for bed.

Callie was awake. "How was your night?"

"It was fine." Rosie said

"Just fine?" Callie asked

"Callie. Why are you so interested in how my date went. You never have been before." Rosie said

"Because this date was different!" Callie said

"Go to bed." Rosie said

"Why wont you talk to me about it?" Callie asked

"You tried to get my date canceled by dad and papa." Rosie said

"I.. Just.." Callie said

"And even if you didn't your twelve. Go to bed." Rosie said

"Fine." Callie said with a grumble before she left the room.

Rosie got into bed and smiled. She texted Nolan.

'You get home okay?'

Nolan texted back

'Yes.'

Goodnight. I love you' she sent

Nolan smiled and texted back

'Good night. Love you too.'

Rosie went to sleep and had a blissful sleep.
