Chapter 6
Ben and Ciara got out of the car and they found RJ.
"RJ, what did you do?" Ciara asked.
"I'm saving them," RJ responded.
"Oh, Ben and I are doing the same thing as you," Ciara said. The two friends turned to face Verne. They waved at them. RJ smiled at Verne and he smiled until the skunk came to the window.
"You sorry sack of rat dung," the skunk said.
"Whoa, Stella, this is a rescue mission. I'm rescuing you," RJ said.
"Guys, come on," Ciara said.
"I'm gonna gas you so hard your grandchildren'll stink," Stella said to RJ.
"Bear!" Verne said.
"What's that?" RJ asked.
"Bear!" Verne said again.
"Hair?!"
"Bear!"
"Dare?"
"Bear!"
Ben looked and sees a bear coming their way!
"Ciara, we gotta move!" He said as he grabs Ciara's arm and pulls her away to safety and then they got back in the car.
"We got to get catch up to the truck," Ciara said.
"You got it," Ben said as Ciara starts driving.
"Ben, there's a walkie talkie in the cup holder in the passenger side in the car. We're gonna use it to communicate with the animals,"
"Got it,"
"Guys, can you hear me? This is Ciara,"
"Yeah, we can hear you and what is that?" Verne asked.
"This is a walkie talkie; Ben and I are going to use it to talk to you guys,"
"That makes sense now,"
"You guys are the truck and somebody needs to drive,"
"We can drive," one porcupine kid said.
"It's just like Auto-Homicide 3!" the other porcupine kid said.
"What?" Verne asked.
"So, that's what happened to my game. I have been looking for this for a few days," Ben said.
"You played Auto-Homicide 3?" Ciara asked.
"Yeah, it's a really fun game," Ben responded.
"Ben, focus,"
"Right, sorry. Ciara, there's something that I need to tell you,"
"What is it?"
"I'm in love with you, Ciara Foster,"
"When did you fell in love with me?"
"Since junior year in high school,"
"Aw, Ben I'm in love with you too,"
"Guys, I hate to break up the moment between you two but we need to focus," Verne said.
"Sorry, Verne," Ben and Ciara said.
"Kids, lose that bear!" Verne said.
"What weapons do we have?" one porcupine kid asked.
"We got a hammer," the second porcupine kid said.
"Cool," the third porcupine kid said as he pushes the button. The bear grabbed the hammer and he tried to hit RJ but it hit the window.
RJ hopped into the truck and then the others caught him at first. "Thank you! Yes, yes," RJ said in relief, and then they tossed him out to the other window. "No, no! Let me in, let me in!"
"No, ring-tailed charlatan!" Ozzie said, glaring at RJ while closing the window.
"Ozzie!" RJ said.
"He's just trying to help us. Just let him in," Verne said.
"After what he did to us?" Stella asked.
"But, he came back," Verne said.
"And he brought a bear," Lou pointed out. The others were arguing until each of the porcupine kids turned to their family.
"Hey! No fighting while we're driving," one porcupine kid said.
"We will turn this thing around, mister," the third porcupine kid said (A/N).
Ben and Ciara looked at each other and laughed a little bit.
"I'm telling you, he's trying to help us, really," Verne said.
"But, Verne, you're the one who always says trust your tail," Ozzie said.
"But, it's not tingling," Verne said.
"Guys, just let RJ in now before that bear kills him," Ciara said. Ozzie opens the window and RJ jumps in safely.
"Thank you, thank you," RJ said.
"Good job, guys. RJ, when you guys get to the house, grab the walkie talkie and put it in your bag," Ciara said.
"Got it," RJ said. The truck turned left and the bear got caught into the balloons. Ciara parked the car at Ben's house and then they got out of his car. Ciara took her phone out to call animal control.
"Hello, Animal Control? We have a problem, there's a bear in El Rancho Camelot. You'll find it in my aunt's backyard. Okay, thank you," Ciara said before hanging up and then calling the police.
"Chesterfield Police Department," the police officer answered.
"Hi, I'm calling to report you that my aunt has an illegal animal trap in her backyard. It's called the Depelter Turbo,"
"Alright, ma'am, we got your location and we'll be on our way," the police officer said.
"Thank you so much. Have a nice day, officer,"
"You too," the police officer said. Ciara hanged up the phone.
"Alright, let's go," Ben said.
