Chapter 16 Kira's Rescue
Blackwargreymon was hovering up not far from the silo. He knew he just couldn't bust in there and take Kira back. He had to play it smart. While Blackwargreymon was pretty strong he was not yet strong enough to take on MetalEtemon without Kira's help. He would have to get Kira and if he had to then fight MetalEtemon. Blackwargreymon had no idea why MetalEtemon wanted Kira and he really didn't care. Kira was his and he wouldn't let anyone take her away from him. Out of the corner of his eye Blackwargreymon say movement. He hovered closer to a window that was almost at the top of the silo. Taking a closer looked saw Kira. She was being pushed into the room by a Gazimon. The Gazimon then shut and locked the door. Kira walked up to the window and leaned on the window seal. Blackwargreymon rushed to the window and hovered in front of Kira.
"KIRA!"
Kira looked up to see Blackwargreymon come up to where she was leaning. "BLACKWARGREMON!" she shouted back.
He came up behind her. He then kneeled down and took Kira in his arms. "Thank goodness your safe."
Kira hugged him back before pulling away. "Im fine Blackwargreymon. But will you please get me out of here before MetalEtemon comes back."
"What does he want with you?"
"He said he wants me to be his bride. I tried turning him down but he said he was going to make me marry him." Kira shuddered. "Please Blackwargreymon get me out of here. I don't care if he did kidnap me I just want to leave."
"Don't worry Kira ill get you out of here."
"Afraid not there buddy"
Turning around Blackwargreymon saw MetalEtemon standing at the door with his arms crossed. "I plan on making her my wife and im not going to let you take her uh huh."
Blackwargreymon stood in front of Kira in a fighting stance. "OVER MY DEAD BODY!"
"Sighs I figured this would end in a fight. Very well lets cut a deal shall we. One on one battle. If you win you can take Kira. If I win she stays with me and becomes my bride uh huh."
Blackwargreymon looked over to Kira and then back to MetalEtemon. "Very well I accept the challenge."
"Blackwargreymon no you don't need to do this." Kira pleaded.
Blackwargreymon looked at Kira. "Don't worry Kira. I wont lose."
Scene Change.
Blackwargreymon and MetalEtemon faced each other in a roman like arena. The Gazimon were cheering for their master from the stands. Kira was in a cage dangling from a post. She was gripping the bars tightly as she viewed the scene before her. You can do it Blackwargreymon. I Believe in you. She thought to herself.
"You ready to go Blackwargreymon uh huh?" MetalEtemon said from his side.
"Ready." Blackwargreymon replied.
A Gazimon rang a gong and the battle began. Both digimon rushed at one another and collided in a stale mate lock. Then moving at the speed of light they dashed at each other and kept colliding. One blocking a kick here, another blocking a punch there. For a while it seemed like the match was an even one. Then MetalEtemon jumped up in the air and yelled Metal Punch. His hand glowed a white aura and he punched at Blackwargreymon. Blackwargreymon jumped out of the way but was a little late. The punch landed on Blackwargreymon's shoulder knocking him down on the ground with a loud grunt.
"Now to finish you off uh huh." "DARK SPIRITS DELUXE." As MetalEtemon said that dark lightning struck Blackwargreymon clear in the chest, engulfing him in negative energy and creating a fog.
"NOOOOOO!" Kira screamed as she slammed herself against the bars.
The fog cleared and Blackwargreymon was kneeled down panting and covered in bruises. His eyes were closed and he was grunting. He tried to get up farther but couldn't move because of the pain.
"Looks like im going to win this one uh huh." MetalEtemon said as he neared Blackwargreymon. "Not only do I get rid of you but I get to take your partner as my wife. We shall be the most powerful duo in all of the digital world uh huh uh huh."
"BLACKWARGREYMON NOO!" Kira screamed again.
Blackwargreymon struggled to get up but still couldn't as MetalEtemon came close to him.
"Time to lose Blackwargreymon." MetalEtemon yelled as his hand started to glow the same white aura it did before.
Kira watched in horror as MetalEtemon prepared the final blow. Then she remembered Blackwargreymon saying her digivice could make him stronger. Pulling it out she pointed it at Blackwargreymon and shouted "TIME TO POWER BACK UP BLACKWARGREYMON!" As she said that her digivice glowed at the end then shot towards Blackwargreymon. Hitting him he started to glow the same color and let out a loud roar. MetalEtemon backed up a few paces. "Whats going on uh huh?" When the glow faded Blackwargreymon was on his feet again. He opened his eyes and they glowed a dark red for a few minutes before going back to normal. His bruises were gone and he looked stronger than ever.
"No its your time to lose now MetalEtemon". He said menacingly.
MetalEtemon staggered. "How… is this.. Possible? I had you defeated?"
"That's the power of having a partner. Even if your at full evolution you can still gain power and support. Your going down MetalEtemon."
"Noo I will not be defeated. METAL PUNCH." MetalEtemon said after throwing the punch. Blackwargreymon easily dodged and jumped into the air yelling "TERROR DESTROYER." A large red energy ball formed in his claws. He then released it and it engulfed MetalEtemon. MetalEtemon screamed as he was engulfed. When the light cleared MetalEtemon was black with a ring of data around him. Then the data turned into an egg and the egg floated out of sight. The Gazimon gased in fear and they all scattered to get away. Blackwargreymon floated over to the cage and with once swipe cleared the lock. Opening the door he grabbed Kira is his arms.
"You ok Kira?"
"Im fine Blackwargreymon. You did it you saved me."
"No we did it. Without you I would have been defeated."
"Glad I remembered what you told me."
Blackwargreymon chuckled slightly "Looks like your getting the hang of this after all. Come on lets get out of here."
"Agreed."
With that Blackwargreymon flew off with Kira safely tucked in his arms.
