Teth-Adam. Reborn as Black Adam. Inside the Rock of Eternity, with a simple objective: to free the Seven Deadly Sins and absorb their powers to destroy the Earth, in retaliation after 5,000 years of sleep and the loss of his family, as proof that humanity would never be able to change, even with the mistakes they made long ago. The wizard that gave Adam his powers, seemed to be more worried than ever. Weakened by these last years, powering the Rock and the nexus of magic that gave his champions everything they could've imagined, it was clear how Black Adam was in his way to take everything and much more coming forward. Having Spider-Man, Miss Martian and Lady Shazam in his hands, Teth-Adam was one step closer to becoming the most powerful being that ever existed.
"Earth will see how does it feel like to lose something they love the most." Near the orb, Black Adam smiled, looking to the Spirits trapped in the sphere. - "Can you hear me? Yes. I will be your new master. Black Adam will reign supreme. In a new world."
"How does this new world will fit in between your point of view?" Spider-Man started to move, unnoticed, making sure that he wouldn't be seen and drawing Black Adam's attention to him. - "These people desserve to suffer only because of your pain?"
"I have seen a lot of things happen. Kahndaq has always suffered at the hands of tyrants and we have all been seeing things far greater than we can consider." Teth-Adam found himself on the verge of collapse because of all the emotions around his body taking over. Because deep down, all of his willpower was directed precisely by the fact that he was making the world suffer for all the punishments mankind had committed and for people who saw themselves as having the right to try to rule as if other people were slaves. - "5,000 years and yet I harbored all my resentment for humanity because of what was taken from me. No one here would be able to understand what they took from you. In those hours, we will all be in serious danger. The world will be remade in my image and for the others, there will be only the punishment that will come in hand."
"And at what cost? All the people around this world have families, people they care about! Are you going to take all that away from them just to soothe your own pain?" Lady Shazam said, trying to understand what their next move would be, but the silence only served to answer that not even Black Adam himself knew the exact answer to the problem he had with him.
Taking advantage of the moment of distraction, from the second Teth-Adam turned and looked at the statues of the Seven Deadly Sins, Peter took the opportunity to throw his webs at the villain, which allowed an attack from Mary and Megan who still had the Wizard's powers in his body. Attacking very quickly, Miss Martian invaded his mind, trying to contain the villain, but at the same time, indirectly absorbing part of his and his family's memories, which left her paralyzed for a few seconds, giving an opportunity for Teth-Adam to use a lightning bolt on the heroine, throwing her on top of the Wizard, which made Lady Shazam start to float, along with Black Adam, with the two using each of their powers to win the fight.
"Speed of Mercury! Power of Zeus!" Channeling two powers at once, Mary opened a hole around the Rock of Eternity, reappearing behind the villain and attacking Teth-Adam so quickly as to make his anger explode to the point where several bolts of lightning came out of his body, which made the Wizard worried. Picking up the staff on the ground, Adam gave a smile, until Peter kicked the object in his hands, throwing it away and putting each of them on standby at that moment. - "Thanks!"
Megan then rose up and looked at Teth-Adam, using her psychic powers to make several boulders fall on the villain, who held them back and destroyed much of the surrounding scenery, trying to contain his opponents, which left the Wizard with a huge fear about what was happening at that time. The trio attacked Adam with all their strength around their bodies, using everything in their power. Taking advantage of the breach, Peter launched each of his webs at Teth-Adam, managing to trap the villain, until his fury destroyed the boulders that Miss Martian had thrown at him, freeing him and with this, he returned with everything for the attack. Peter then attached his webs to Teth-Adam's feet, taking the opportunity to serve as a distraction and in the same way, Mary Bromfield attacked, using a combination of her skills to contain the villain, who resisted with all the strength of the world and of his being, trying to do the impossible to resist at that time. Her movements put everyone in readiness, but at that very moment, the Wizard looked at the scenery, realizing that he would need more help to contain the former champion at all costs.
Holding the staff in his hands, he looked at the current scenario, certain that the heroes would be defeated. But still holding out hope, he began to send a signal through the staff to find reinforcements that could confront Teth-Adam and have a chance to perform a miracle before the entire world was destroyed.
In her penthouse, Zatanna continued to use her spells in an attempt to locate the point where they should teleport to find the Rock of Eternity and save their friends at all costs. Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, Green Lantern, Bumblebee and Shadowcat continued to wait, trying to find where Spider-Man and his friends might be now. Feeling an unexpected sign appearing in her mind, Zatanna was a little surprised as to what she had realized, leaving her friends surprised.
"What happened, Zatanna? What dilemma have our enemies created now?" Wonder Woman spoke, mustering all the determination she could muster to try to rescue her teammates and siblings.
"I'm getting a totally strange signal. It's like he's calling me to come over. It must be from the Rock of Eternity. If I cast the spell the right way, we'll be able to reach the place in a matter of seconds." Closing her eyes, Zatanna concentrated her powers, keeping a calm around her body, while at the same time, the magician continued to concentrate all the power around her soul, with a smile on her face. - "Sdrol fo Redro, ediug su hguorht eht langis. Evom lla fo su otni eht ni noitseuq dna evig ot su, htgnerts ot ecaf ruo seimene. Ekat su ot eht Kcor fo Ytinrete!"
Concentrating the power of the Lords of Order, Zatanna enveloped each of her friends in a purple energy, making each of their bodies disappear and reappear in the nexus of all magic. The Rock of Eternity. Watching the scene and seeing the fight between the three heroes and Teth-Adam, the Super Hero Girls looked at the Wizard, where he was surprised to see the scene.
"I am honored that you are here. It seems you have received my call."
"You are the Wizard. Guardian of the Rock of Eternity and watchman of the Seven Deadly Sins." Zatanna said, a little surprised at that scene. That was enough to make Batgirl and Supergirl approach the magician.
"Answer something to us, Zee: How do you know everything about this place?" Supergirl asked, still trying to understand things a little more while Zatanna crossed her arms, nervously.
"It's just that my father, he made sure that I studied a good deal about the history of magic and in one of those chapters, there was an exact description of the history of the Rock of Eternity, according to what he had been able to gather."
"Yes. The great Giovanni Zatara. I know his story in an impeccable way. But yes, I am the Wizard. Protector of the Rock of Eternity. And I have made it my journey through all these centuries to find a being worthy of bearing the powers of the Champion. One who would be the purest of heart and fight for justice." Observing the fight scene, Wonder Woman took the lead and used her Lasso of Truth to hold off Teth-Adam, while Zatanna used her powers to try to immobilize the villain, however, gathering his strength, she managed to take down both heroines in a matter of seconds. Holding her sword, Diana began to attack Black Adam with all her powers and doing her duty as an Amazon to do whatever was necessary at a crucial moment. Bumblebee and Batgirl then combined their skills, managing to get the former Champion's attention, but channeling all the rage, Teth-Adam was on the verge of desperation. First, to free the Seven Deadly Sins and allow them to be able to find a chance to win. That was his main goal at the moment and nothing was going to stop him from achieving his greatest desire.
"Do you really think these reinforcements will help you, Wizard? They are warriors, fighting for a lost cause." Black Adam had a willpower channeled by all the anger and negative emotions he could imagine right now, but with the same feeling that he had something to fight for and would make it his mission to destroy the world around him. Attacking Zatanna with his powers, the magician created several clones of herself, fooling the villain and allowing a barrage of strikes to come from Wonder Woman and Supergirl, with the heroine duo trying to contain the villain on their fronts. With the chance in hand, Diana grabbed the Lasso of Truth, holding the villain with the rope and using all of her powers to contain her opponent, sensing an unexpected standoff coming with everything.
"The Lasso of Hestia forces you to surrender!"
"Never."
Using all his strength, Black Adam began to pull the Amazon and spun the Lasso of Truth with everything he had in his body, electrifying the rope and in the same way, trying to make Diana submit to the will of the former Champion. Realizing what was happening, Supergirl used her super breath, trying to push the villain away and free Wonder Woman, which allowed Zatanna to use her magic to create several giant hands, trapping Teth-Adam's body, but enough to make him giggle in the middle of it all, but in that, he summoned several of his powers, allowing a barrage of attacks that had everyone worried. Kitty Pryde, on the other hand, felt the concern surrounding her friends at that point. At that same point, Miss Martian felt the powers around her body increasing, where she opened her hands towards Adam, invading more and more of his mind, but in an unusual way, resisting every one of her movements, in which every step was clear at that time. Shadowcat then, used her powers, becoming intangible, managing to unleash several punches and kicks on Teth-Adam, affecting part of the villain's body and in the same way, Wonder Woman, Supergirl, Zatanna and Green Lantern took the front, holding Black Adam's body, allowing Lady Shazam to hold him by the back, furious.
"Shazam!" Saying the word, lightning struck Teth-Adam, affecting his body, but it did not return him to normal, due to the fact that it was not Adam who was saying the magic word. - "Shazam!" Speaking the word again, Mary wanted to make Teth-Adam submit anyway.
Out of nowhere, Adam sent several electric blasts around his body, throwing the quintet backwards and knocking each one to the ground, leaving Bumblebee, Batgirl, Spider-Man, Miss Martian and Shadowcat standing. Looking at the current scene, he began to look at the sphere where the Seven Deadly Sins were trapped and with that, Adam raised his right hand, aiming it in the direction of the sphere, where the bubble trapping it began to open, with a smile on his face.
"It's time to remake the Earth in my own image. This all dormant time and it's time to sort out everything that's happened around this world."
Those words only affirmed to the heroes that Teth-Adam had more than just the pain around his body. He wanted to take revenge on the whole world for what he had lost. But at that very moment, it was an unexpected feeling that Peter Parker felt around his body: that could have been him if he had not chosen to follow the words of his uncle Ben. Teth-Adam seemed to be on the verge of victory, which made Peter stand at the ready, casting his webs over the sphere and with that, threw it high into the air, trapping the object on the ceiling with his webs and preventing Adam from using his powers to free the Seven Deadly Sins.
"Apparently, there is still a certain amount of willpower around your body, young man."
"It seems like we are seeing similar scenes. I also lost someone important to me. Someone I loved because of a mistake I made. I left the guy who had it in a corner, but that's how I realized how much none of this would solve the problem I had created. At that very moment, I realized that to be a hero, I decided to embrace my destiny. To use the words that should be used for the greater good. To be Spider-Man. Those very words still made the group worried about what they were hearing at this time, but above that, Peter held his hands, keeping calm in his body, trying to understand what was going to happen now. - "You have a choice. To be the savior of this world or to destroy it. Because every decision we make can change whatever it takes to solve the problems at hand."
Teth-Adam still kept something unexpected around his body. Because all this time, feeding his hatred around humanity, was only serving to surprise him about it all. The smile came around his face, as if he were a little convinced. The girls stood at the ready, worried.
"You can really understand the pain I feel. But you also understand that I can't stop now. These years have made me realize how far I have come, and there is no way I can give up. The fact that I believe I can save humanity is a flawed thing. Because I myself am no longer worthy of these powers. From the moment I let myself be carried away by anger. I cannot stop. And if you persist, I will be forced to defeat all of you."
The Super Hero Girls were in position, preparing their gadgets and powers so that they could defeat Teth-Adam, who made it clear that although one might believe in goodness in his body, he couldn't stop the plan he set in motion now. Every minute would determine what would happen and all the heroes were on standby, ready to face Black Adam and do the impossible in the name of what they believed in. Before the fight resumed, the Wizard looked at the group of heroes around the Rock of Eternity, realizing how much hope was still on display. But should Teth-Adam escape, one answer was very clear. Against all odds, the Wizard had a statement that could mean the worst should the villain win.
Should Black Adam escape, the Earth would be seeing the beginning of the end.

Author's Note: Ok, this one was supposed to end this little arc involving Black Adam, but in fact, I have to be honest with all of you here, folks: In these last few days, I've started to suffer with the lack of ideas, and this little situation kinda of affected the chapter around, and to complete the point, part of me started to suspect that I was starting to suffer from burnout, because I was feeling a little tired when writing the chapter, but I promise to all of you that I'm not quitting this story and I promise that the next part will finish this arc involving Teth-Adam. You can be sure of it, dear readers!
