50. Status Update

A/N: Hey readers. Sorry for the long wait on the new chapter. These past few months have been... a lot.

To start, I had most of the fourth round written out. However, about a month ago, the file it was on got corrupted and I lost the entire document. That was a massive mood killer to my motivation cause I really didn't want to rewrite the same thing all over again. On top of that, this arc has been kind of rough writing out as it's five fights in a row under the same format and was mostly a matter of shoving Class C into the already existing matchups.

So between the corrupted original file, my lack of motivation, and my busy life, I decided to blitz through the rest of this arc since there's only two rounds left. The new version of this chapter is going to mostly skip through the fourth round, and go straight to the fifth and final round. Sorry for anyone who was really hoping to see Bakugo beat the crap out of some of Class C's members, but it's for the best in terms of getting the chapter out sooner.

Once this arc is over, it will move onto the My Villain Academia arc. I'm actually very much looking forward to this arc. It's going to be on the shorter side as I don't want to rewrite a bunch of stuff exactly as it happened in the anime, but it will go more in depth on Cougar's backstory, as well as finally give the full backstory for Utocha. So look forward to that.

Now that I've explained what the next chapter will be, as well as the arc after that, let's move onto the question that many of you are probably asking. When is the new chapter coming out?

Originally, I was hoping to get it out sometime this month. However, I just recently started a new job that is going to have me busier than ever, so I'm not certain on that anymore. I will definitely have it out sometime in February at the latest though, that is a promise. The new chapter will replace this, so if you plan to comment on it when it comes out, please do not comment on this version as it will prevent you from doing so when the new chapter comes out. If you want to comment, just put it on a previous chapter or PM me if you want.

On another note, allow me to talk about one of the things that has been keeping me busy from my fanfic writing. I've been wanting to move away from fanfic writing for a bit, and move onto more original work. And just last month, I finally finished the first volume of my first original story, Genesis Game. I think some of you would enjoy it, especially if you're a fan of series like No Game No Life and Tower of God. It's currently up on Wattpad, under the same handle I have here. Just go on Wattpad and search story Genesis Game. It should be one of the first results. I'd love to have some of my fanfic readers on here check it out and let me know your thoughts.
