The factory produced a loud cacophony of noise, upon entry. Machines alive with activity. Several slamming down, large metal presses. Some cutting sheets of grey material. Some like vats, with it being poured down into the contents. Lifting, dripping, moving into something which formed it.

The air was smoky in here. The girls purple eyes taking note of the many people that seemed to be working the factory. Going about their business uninterrupted. She hesitated, wondering if she should speak to them.

"I...I don't...see her, do you?" Chara asked, getting no response. "Whisper?"

She felt...significantly more alone than she had previously. Taking a few steps, her boots clattering against the floor. Before a little laugh came from above. There on one of the overhanging walkways, was a man. A strange, robotic man, that had a passing resemblance to Metta. She knew him to be the Towns Mayor. If the statues were an honest indication.

"Well, well. Two humans in a single day. That is, fascinating." He commented, pacing around. "You are a human right?"

"Two?" Chara focused on that. "Has Aliza been here?"

"Aliza. Aliza-" Napstattons eyes briefly grew dark, a soft whisper beneath his words. "ahh, your little friend. Yes, she was here. Wearing a necklace, like yours, right?"

Chara grasped at the necklace around her neck. Her coat like a cape, drifting, as she stepped. Following along with him.

"Yes. Is...is she still here?" Chara noticed something in his hand.

"You know. It's fascinating to me, that you're even here at all. Chara Dreemurrr." He turned and leaned over the railing, hand clenching something balled in it. "Last check, you met the most untimely of endings." The girl paused. "Oh, yes. I know about that." He scanned her. "How are you...alive?"

"I don't know." She replied, annoyed. "Where is Aliza?"

"Why do you want to know?" He inquired. "If she wanted you to know, surely she would have told you."

"The knife was missing." She replied.

"And?" He asked.

"I think she thought there was danger." She replied. "And...went to investigate."

"You think, or you hope?" He asked, watching her glance away, smirking to himself. "Awh, hope. That's adorable. All concerned about your little friend." She huffed. "Well then. I'll tell you the answer. However, nothing in this world, is free." He motioned to her. "You tell me how you came to walk among the living, and I'll tell you. Fair?"

Chara glanced around, and noticed some of the workers watching. "I...I don't know."

"Hmm. You don't know. What, did you simply...wake up somewhere?" He asked, the girl remaining quiet. "So that's a yes. Fascinating. Well, here's another one-" His eyes darkened. "did you think you could escape the consequences of your actions, Chara Dreemurr?"

"My...actions?" She asked, scanning him. "What...what are you talking about?" She scanned him. "Who...who even are you?"

"You know, I never did introduce myself to you." He snickered. "How rude. When we first met it was Napstablook, but that was when you murdered me." He snickered, and took note of her confusion. "You may not remember, but I do~" He nearly sang, pacing. "Thankfully, I had an excellent doctor. I was given salvation, and a new purpose. A new life...not unlike yourself." He shrugged. "Oh, and a new name. Nappstatton. Not that it matters to you, I'm sure."

"Killed you?" Chara tried to place this individual but couldn't. "I don't...I don't know who you are?"

"Have you killed so many, you can't keep track anymore?" He inquired, the girl briefly looking ashamed. "But of course you did-" His eyes twitched. "I can smell the dust clinging to you. Like the sins weighing on your back."

"Sins...that's...funny." She glanced, her expression darkening. "You're not innocent. Your eyes are just like those creatures, heartless." He laughed softly. "I can tell...so don't pretend with me." She drew the bat and glared. "Where, is Aliza?"

"I had so many things I wanted to say. But that's alright." He laughed grimly. "Soon...you'll be as dead, as your little friend."

He opened his hand. As something fell from it. Drifting down, slowly falling through the air. Until it fell past her face, eyes wide as she examined it. The torn remains of a rainbow scarf.

It passed her face, obscuring it from his sight for a moment. And when it passed, her eyes had become bottomless inkwells. Darker than oblivion. The various workers having started towards the target of his retribution, and ire.

"There it is." He grinned. "Just...like before." He gestured, his creatures rushing at her. "Let's see how many exciting ways, I can make you suffer, brat."

The Demon stared for a moment at the remnants of the scarf. Body twitching in an unnatural fashion. She had made a promise, the same promise. And like every other time...she'd failed. The black eyed being let out a primordial howl, as its foes neared.

Hate had taken hold, and for now, there was nothing else.

Elsewhere...

This decision was not one he made lightly. The Flower observing the target of this mission. An insane one, by all accounts, but one he felt he needed to do.

If Aliza was to survive against Sans, she needed help. Thankfully, and unfortunately as well, he had an idea. He hid between the blue luminous grass, watching the tree in the distance. He could barely make her out, sitting up against the tree. Thankful she was still there, the faint echo of guilt hitting him.

"Okay...just...drag her through the pathway...toss her near the smiley trashbag. Easy." Flowey then pondered. "Course...she'd gonna kill me if I get close." He began to sweat, somehow. "Okay. No, focus. You can do this. It's easy. I mean, how many times did I...kill her?" He asked himself nervously, glancing around. "You can catch her off guard. Yeah, that'll-" He looked back to the tree, to find she was gone. "that'll...oh shit."

"Are you okay?" A voice asked from behind him, in that same near-whisper.

The Flower turned slowly around. Finding the shadows cast over the form there, looming above him. A dull red glow to her eyes, being the most pronounced in the shadows. Her lips dry, her voice cracked, and all but gone.

Then again, she had been repeating those words on loop. He also noticed the dirt, and blood on her hands, and fingers. With wrappings around her hands, that were bloodied. He didn't realize she'd know how to do that, but it, combined with the little involuntary twitches of her eyes made him regret his decision.

The girl staring down at him, with an unrestrained fury. A grim expression on her face. The world flashing black, and red.

The Flower noticed his health briefly. "H-hey, whose side are you on!?" It fizzled away, leaving the commands in its place, though he knew it was a mental construct. "E-er, crap."

Flowey used Talk?

"H-hey Frisk...listen. I...uh-" He couldn't think of what to say. "I...s-so you remember...uhm...Chara?"

"Are you okay?" She repeated, appearing to ignore him.

The girl slashed out with a glistening object, a false knife made sharp. The Flower leaning to the side to avoid the first swing, before vanishing into the ground to avoid the second. Letting out a yelp in the process. The knife slammed down into the dirt, pushing beside him, before he burrowed a short distance away, and rose once more.

Flowey decided to...apologize?

"L-listen, Frisk, I-" Flowey stammered. "I didn't know, and, I-"

The act of trying to make an excuse caused the girls eyes to narrow. Her grip on the knife tightening, as she blitzed forward. Eyes flashing red.

Her dash came at an alarming pace, the knife brought slashing up, in an arc. The Flower yelping, as he weaved to the side, dodging it. A second slash down, seeing him retreat into the ground. A section of his petal sliced, as he went.

Popping up again somewhere else, he let out a huff. Frisk was shaking like some sort of wraith for a moment. Before turning, and falling into a dead sprint, rushing towards where he was. He realized he would have to try and outlast her, until a moment presented itself to get out of this mess.

Flowey used EVADE!

"Okay, just...gotta survive." He muttered quietly, the human grey in pigment bursting out towards him again.

The grass parting, as she went. A look comprised of torment, and rage on her face. The scowl locked at him, as she leapt up, and brought the knife down. Letting out a feral growl in the process.

The sound of a snap filled the air, a soul flashing blue. One marred with grey, and orange, consumed by the newfound coloring. Tossed violently to the side, as the owner went with it.

Letting out a cry of desperation and anger. Yellow raincoat waving violently, as she was tossed up. Aliza turning, stabbing the switchblade into a bone that was moving by. Digging it in, to slow her movement to a stop. Grasping the surface, even as the attack tried to force her up. Avoiding being impaled by several spike-like bones above her.

The force suddenly yanking down, the knife pulled out along with her as she started to fall. Spinning through the air, she moved her feet. Landing with a slide across a moving platform of sorts. That appeared as a sharp bone that had been aiming for her. Something she was morbidly familiar with at this point.

Riding the platform as it went, leaping up and forward as another went to hit her leg. Landing back on the unstable platform. Knees a little shaky as she did so. Something whirring in the air beside her, prompting her to leap off, and down towards another. A beam of light erupting out, consuming the bone she had been on only moments before.

Hitting this next platform, she broke into a sprint. Reaching the end, to leap, landing on another with a roll. Avoiding several other things meant to slice her in two. Rising at the end, the air distorted. The massive skull blaster appearing. Its empty, dark eyes staring at her, before light, and energy began building within its maw.

"Ugh!" She growled, eyes shining as a pulse echoed from her soul.

Pushing off her platform, she dove towards it, rather than away. The knife coming to stab down into the top of the blaster, as it fired. The girl barely avoiding it, by landing on top of the thing.

One there she pulled the knife to the side, and yanked at the eye-socket of the thing. Getting it to turn, the laser turning with it. Scorching the ground, and things it passed, moving to her target.

It swung around, towards the skeleton standing by the gate. The beam approaching, as he yawned. Vanishing from sight, at the last possible moment. The ground torn apart, leaving inky waves in the void. Her eyes widening in the moment, before spotting him appearing in front of her.

Their eyes met in that moment, his perpetually smug grin staring at her own distressed, and angered expression. Pulling on the blaster, she tried to get it to aim up at him. Only for him to snap his fingers again. Causing the whole thing to vanish, the presence beneath her giving way, as she gasped.

The girl fell hard to the ground, grunting in pain, as she did so. Rising to her feet, in a scramble, she glanced back, and then dove out of the way. Avoiding a final beam of light. Stumbling, as she once more stood, panting some.

"that was a neat idea bud." The Skeleton commented. "and oh, shoot, you were so close." He chuckled. "wanna try again?"

Aliza took the moment to take a long, deep breath. Drawing it in, she let her tension start to lower some. The remnants of her thoughts materializing her options.

|Aliza - HP 16/26|

|Fight| - |Act| - |Item|

Sans appeared to notice something, and snickered. "damn kid. no mercy option?" He scanned her vacant expression. "guess you finally realized that-"

Aliza chose to Fight.

She pushed forward, with a sudden dash. The skeleton pulling hard to the side, as her knife gleamed out. The blade nearly striking him.

"c'mon bud rea-" He began.

The girl felt the switchblade surge. Bringing it back with a sudden motion. Slashing down, and across his chest, much to the skeletons obvious surprise. He vanished in response to this, appearing a short distance away.

"heh. nice hit. kid." He winked somehow, as a good portion of his health plummeted. "but you ain't gonna pull that off again."

Spikes began to erupt around her. The girl weaving, and dodging each as they approached. The various bones nearly impaling her several times, though she managed to stagger out of the attacks.

Aliza focused on her courage. Drew it forth, energy rising and igniting around the knife. Twisting on her final dodge, she moved near. Slashing earlier than before, prompting the Skeletons eye-socket to raise somehow. The orange energy suddenly exploding forth, causing the knife to become something like a blade.

He let out a sound of surprise, a bone styled like a blade forming, blocking the strike. Cracking, as it neared him. She roared, and continued to slash, and attack. Letting out a mad frenzy, that prompted him to repeatedly conjure new bones to block the hits. Vanishing, to dodge several near strikes. And forming one large one to stop her final strike, holding it, with one of his eyes glowing. The skeleton smiling all the wider.

"where'd you figure that one out?" He asked, while scanning her over. "nothin to say kid?"

The bone shattered, he vanished. The energy fading as it slashed through empty air. The girl glancing around, before spotting him some distance away.

He commented. "c'mon bud. you were rantin this whole time. now though-" he shrugged. "somethin's off. oh, no, I get it." His expression darkened. "you weren't afraid before." She paused her movement. "you had this belief that it'd all turn out okay. you weren't 'actually' desperate. no...you still had faith, that someone would help you." His eyes got brighter, as his grin grew. "but you finally figure out...that you're never leaving this place. that you'll be here, forever. am I right?"

Aliza provided no answer. But her breathing was off. Her eyes dimming for a moment, as she took a breath. She scanned him, and glanced at the town around her, or the facsimile of it.

"I wanted to save you too, you know?" Aliza spoke, finally. "I...I wanted to...help everyone here." She turned to face him. "I figured...if I could get out, then I could help Chara...and I could find someone to help all of you."

Sans let out a sigh. "kid. there is no helping us."

"I know." She replied, smiling an off smile. "But...I thought of something...it's funny, I think?" She laughed softly, and leveled the knife. "If I can't leave...if I'll forget...and it won't even matter anymore...at least I'll have this."

"fighting me?" He asked.

Her eyes seemed to bear an ominous tinge. "Hurting you." She spoke. "Because it won't be long, until I'm the one who wins...and if, by that point, you've taken everything from me." She shrugged. "Then all I'll have left, is making you suffer. And die. Over, and over, and over, and over, and over...again." She began to twitch, her shadow crawling in the dark. "Until you start begging me for death, because you have nothing else."

The skeleton let out a grim laugh. "alright. sounds like we're gonna have a great time."

He snapped his fingers, the blasters manifesting again, as the fight continued.
