Orion knew that she had to get to Lostlight and try and find Azreal. But, since the only way to the city of the angels, they had to use the gates, and Laura's friends had opted to return home, but with good wishes and with information for her mother as well.
Laura opted to stick close to Orion for the time being when they met Nathaniel. The large warrior angel noted Orion's wings with Laura holding on to her from behind and asked,"You are Death's daughter than? Don't worry, neither of you will be hurt here."
They went to meet the new archon as well, and it happened to be Azeral. Orion settled her wings behind her so that she had access to her scythes in case something went wrong while Laura stood beside her friend noting that the young half breed was calm but also rather tense as well for some odd reason.
The Archangel of Death noted the tension in the young half breed as well and said,"Do not worry Orion, for you truly are one of a kind even among the angels here in Lostlight."
She nodded in understanding and relaxed as best as she ever truly could. They spoke for awhile before finding out what was needed to be found out in time of course.
They talked for hours until they were called to dinner. By Nathaniel of all people. They went together and found seats while Orion opted to turn the chair she was offered around to ease her wings a bit and to keep the other angels aware of her scythes as well when Orion sensed an on coming fight and she managed to defend herself well while her attacker was on the floor bleeding from half a dozen wounds.
After the eventful dinner and such, Laura and Orion were escorted to their rooms for the night and were told to expect Azreal in the morning and the girls fucking agreed to the terms of course.
Orion opted to find a place to settle in due to her wings and found a crossbeam while Laura opted to use the bed when she asked,"Why don't you settle on the bed with me Orion? It's much softer and much bigger too."
The young Halfbreed agreed and settled beside Laura before saying,"My wings are pretty good sized Laura so I hope that I don't tickle you over night or something."
