George and Anne Darcy are still alive but estranged due to the elder Darcy's continued support of George Wickham. It is a very different Fitzwilliam Darcy that meets Elizabeth Bennet in 1809.

So Lydia liked to party. What'll they do, sue her? Unfortunately, that's what Will Darcy threatens when she crashes his car. After striking a deal with him and Bingley, Lydia's summer plans changed from chasing the guys on the swim team to cleaning out a dusty old mansion. With a new friend in tow (Georgiana should get out more), the uncontrollable Lydia Bennet might grow up.
