Chapter 03: Finding a message.
It seemed strange, but before we set off, Tommy delivered a message to us which turned out to be very cryptic. The wording was weird enough, however, it described more of these ranger keys to be found. Man...this was a first...we had never heard of these keys, however there were a few others to find.
"Hey captain, according to this, it says "To find your spirit...you need to head to the jungle of your heart, then you will gain your special animal guide"...does this mean we need to head to wherever it says?" One of my crewmembers said as I looked at it and laughed. "Manic...you devious bugger...We need to head to Twilight Town! That is where we're gonna find the next set of ranger keys!" I said as we set course.
As we did, I had a feeling Manic was thinking more about our time as rangers as I was whilst were were on course to Twilight Town.
/Manic and Tommy's Point Of View - Land Of Dragons
"Hey dad, are you feeling alright...I mean well you know..." Tommy said as Manic looked at him and nodded. "I'm fine son...just can't believe Naminé is doing well by herself...we all split up after we sacrificed our powers to defeat the enemy...I just wish there was something I could do." Manic said as he looked towards the door and then got up as the doors of the dojo swung back and forth as a single light came flashing near the beach where the dojo was.
"Do you see what that is?" Manic said as Tommy nodded. "Yeah, let's go and see!" He replied as they ran to where it was. When they dug the hole, they noticed something as Tommy picked it up. "Hey dad...you don't think..." He said as both looked towards each other/
We finally arrived at Twilight Town, docked the ship and walked to the main town, we could see young children run around making myself thankful we did stop the invasion for the first time...however as we were looking around, we heard a familiar voice shout, "You're a sight for sore eyes..." making us turn around and we saw Olette, Pence and Hayner there as we ran up to them.
"It's been a while, hasn't it...about twenty years..." Pence said as he looked at both Hayner and Olette. "Yeah, it has been...hows the others...you know, Manic and Tommy, Sora, Kairi, Riku?" Olette said as I looked at them. "Well we did see Manic and Tommy at the land of dragons, they're doing well...Manic no longer has his long hair, neither does Tommy, though he's still scruffy looking as ever." I said as we all laughed. "Oh those were the good old days...so where are you now...well now you're not a ranger anymore?" Pence said as I shook my head and looked back at my fellow crewmembers and pointed to them.
"That's my crew, I'm literally a pirate now, we go about looking for treasure." I said as they all nodded. "Come, let's go to the secret hideout." Olette said as we all nodded. As we got to the hideout, it hadn't changed much as we all sat down. "To tell the truth Olette, Hayner and Pence, we're looking for keys..." I said as they laughed. "Oh keys, that is funny. But all seriousness, why keys?" Olette said as I shook my head.
"Not ordinary keys...we're not that kind of pirates. The keys are ranger keys...don't ask us what they are, but we were brought here." I said as I passed them the letter with the cryptic notes on it. As Olette looked up at us, we heard the sound of rumbling.
"Oh no...it can't be here..." One of my crewmembers said as I stood up . "It's best you stay here, we know how much harder these guys are to fight..." I said as they shook their heads and ran outside as I groaned loudly and we all ran outside. "Oh hell, well let's get to it!" I said as we fought the enemies as we saw the trio get knocked down as one of the main enemy and we stood side by side as one of my crewmates went to help them up.
Looking back at the trio, I nodded to my friends and we all held our armada morphers up. "Let's do it!" I said as we turned the keys into keys. "It's morphin' time! Go Go Pirate Armada!" We shouted as the five of us morphed into battle and Olette alongside Pence and Hayner looked in shock as we started fighting but got knocked back. "Let's try this!" I said as we grabbed another key from the belt and went to morph. "Go Go Pirate Armada!" We said again as we morphed into the SPD rangers from the box that we had been given by Manic and Tommy which had some ranger keys from the past ranger teams and kicked some butt, but as we were getting our butts kicked moments after morphing back into the armada rangers, Olette stood in front of us.
"NO! You will not hurt our friends!" She said as Hayner and Pence also stood in front of us but got hit instead. "You will not hurt our friends! Leave them alone!" I said as our belts glowed bright. As we touched the switch, we saw five new keys. "Oh, these are..." Armada blue said as I looked at him. "Yes, the Jungle Fury rangers! This is why we had to come here! Well, let's make this incredibly showy!" I said as we morphed into the jungle fury rangers and defeated the monster that had came down to terrorise the innocent children and families of Twilight Town. Even though most of the town had been destroyed, we were determined to help but after we demorphed, Olette, Hayner and Pence made us stay and train to gain our animal spirits as what Manic said in the letter.
