Chapter 07 - More trouble...and more keys are given to the new rangers.
As the silver ranger looked down and said "Orion..." he went in search of the key, however Orion found that it was harder to keep his identity a secret from them as he looked on as the mermaids swam around him.
"C'mon...we can show you where the light is coming from!" one of them said as Orion nodded, put his helmet back on and swam with them to the light. Orion then lifted up a rock and saw that it was two keys - the Gold Zeo and Gold Samurai rangers...he wondered what they were doing here but understood a minute afterwards and picked the keys up but heard a rumbling noise above them.
"Oh no...they need my help...I'm sorry, I can't stay long...but I will come back and visit after this is all cleared up...what are your names...I feel like a jerk giving mine but not asking yours." Orion said as he looked at the mermaids.
"Oh...I'm Ariel...and these are my sisters, Attina, Alana, Adella, Aquata, Arista...and finally, Andrina" Ariel said as Orion nodded. "Well it was nice meeting you and thank you for rescuing me...I thought I was a goner there for a moment." Orion replied as Ariel and her sisters smiled. "No worries, we're always around, so when you get chance, pop back." She said as Orion nodded and then teleported back to the shore where he found the rangers but they demorphed after battling the giant monster and winning against them in front of the silver ranger.
"Hey...just who in the hell are you? You're the silver ranger right?" The green armada ranger said as Orion nodded and then teleported away again. "Huh...what is his problem!" The pink armada ranger said as Naminé shook her head. I've got a bad feeling about this...we're going to find out sooner rather than later."
Manic and Tommy's POV:
Back at the dojo, Tommy and Manic were sparring against each other and as they finished, they bowed to each other in respect and then sat down.
"So where were you? I mean you were pretty much gone from the dojo for ages...I went out for a jog and you weren't here after I came back." Manic said as Tommy nodded. "Oh yea, I had to go shower, teaching those kids is murder sometimes, my back is killing!" Tommy replied as Manic nodded.
"Oh well, at least we sparred for a bit, like old times, eh son!" Manic said as Tommy laughed and replied afterwards, "Yeah, it's great to do that with you".
"I wonder how Naminé and her crew are doing...ya know, getting the ranger keys, saving the world and everything...what I wouldn't do to be a power ranger now. But...saying that, you're on alert all the time in case a monster attack came...but I suppose you get used to it after a while." Manic said as Tommy nodded and took a drink of water...however a moment later, Manic came back up.
"Someone took that morpher and the two keys we found!" He said as Tommy got up. "What? You are kidding right?" He said as his father shook his head. "It must have been when I went out jogging!" Manic said as Tommy shook his head. "Relax...we knew it would happen sooner or later, remember what you always said - you don't choose the morphers, the morphers choose you!" He said as Manic nodded and sighed. "Oh well...it had to happen eventually...just hope Naminé didn't freak out when she finds out." Manic said as Tommy looked out the door.
"I'm pretty sure she'll be fine dad...I mean...she's more like you every day now and besides, if I know my gut instincts, she'd have followed the clues and gone to see Shadow." Tommy said as Manic stood beside him and put a hand on his son's shoulder. "You know here more than I do sometimes son." Manic replied as they both chuckled.
As they were training, they all mastered the arts of the ninja...however, this was only part one...the second part was training with Manic and Tommy. As they finished, Shadow nodded and Naminé wondered.
"Hey...how come we didn't get the keys?" She said as Shadow chuckled. "If I know the clue on that paper, you have to go back and train with Manic and Tommy!" Shadow replied as Naminé nodded. "Oh well, it was nice seeing ya again old friend." Naminé said as Shadow nodded. "You're gonna turn out to be a real good leader Naminé...take good care of your new partners!" Shadow said as Naminé laughed. "I will." She replied as they went back to the ship and set sail back to the dojo.
...but some things will come to ahead...like the mystery Silver Ranger's identity.
