Chapter 3
Dukey and Perry were riding jetpacks; Perry had his own and Dukey had a spare. They arrived back at the Test house and landed on the roof. Then, they looked through the window of Susan and Mary's lab and saw that no one was in there.
"Okay, I think the coast is clear," Dukey said. "Let's go inside."
Before Dukey or Perry could open the window, they were startled by two voices.
"Dukey?" the first voice called out.
"Perry?" the second voice called out.
At first, Dukey and Perry were afraid that Johnny, Phineas & Ferb had caught them but when they looked down, they were relieved to find out it was only Mr. Black and Mr. White, who were standing in the front yard.
"Did you finish the mission already?" Mr. White guessed.
"Not yet. We're just here to use the lab," Dukey explained.
"Did you find out what Wacko and the pharmacist are up to?" Mr. Black asked.
"Yeah, they're using giant robot action figures they made of themselves to take over Porkbelly," Dukey answered. "We wanna build our own so we can stop 'em."
"Do you need any help?" Mr. White asked.
"Well, there is one way you can help. Are you guys here to see Johnny?"
"Affirmative. The General ordered us to check out what he and his friends are building in the backyard," Mr. Black informed.
"Can you do us a favor and not tell them where we are or what we're doing?" Dukey asked.
"Sure thing, Dukey," Mr. White agreed
"Good luck on the mission," Mr. Black said.
"Thanks. We'll need it," Dukey replied as he opened the window. He and Perry climbed through the window and into the lab. Then, Dukey closed the window. "Okay, Perry, here's the plan. Susan and Mary have these construction drones and we can use 'em to-"
Before Dukey could continue, he and Perry were startled again by footsteps coming from outside the lab.
"Oh, no! Someone's coming!" Dukey panicked. "We gotta hide!"
Dukey and Perry ran over to the supercomputer and crawled under the desk below it. Once the duo was hidden, Susan, Mary & Candace entered the lab.
"Okay, here's the plan," Candace said. "We get a video camera and record the skate park onto a disc."
"We tried that last time when our brothers built that go-kart track, remember?" Susan reminded.
"Do you have any better ideas then?"
"Maybe, if we use more than one video camera, we'll have a better chance of saving the evidence," Mary suggested.
"Yeah, that might work," Candace agreed.
"Let's get our collection of spy cameras and set 'em up in the backyard. We can record the skate park onto our computer, save the videos onto another disc and show it to Dad when he gets home,"
"And I can show it to Mom when I get home,"
"Excellent plan, Mary," Susan complimented. "Let's get to work."
Susan and Mary collected all their spy cameras and left the lab along with Candace. Once the girls were gone, Dukey and Perry crawled out from under the computer desk.
"Whew, that was close," Dukey said in relief. "Anyway, the construction drones can build us some robot action figures that'll help us beat Wacko and Doofenshmirtz. Does that work?"
Perry gave Dukey a thumbs-up, meaning he liked that plan.
"Alright. Now, we just need to find the drones." Dukey looked around for them. Luckily for him and Perry, the construction drones were done building the skate park and were now back in the lab, waiting for their next command. "There they are," Dukey pointed out when he found the drones. "Let's get to work."
Johnny, Gil, Phineas & Ferb were admiring the now finished skate park. It was larger than the house, it covered most of the backyard and it had all kinds of ramps; half pipes, quarter pipes, bowls, you name it.
"Dude, that is so awesome!" Johnny exclaimed. "I can't wait to ride it."
"Me neither, bro," Gil agreed. "I'm gonna go get my skateboard. I'll be back."
Gil left the backyard and at the same time, Mr. Black and Mr. White showed up.
"Hey, Johnny," Mr. Black greeted.
"Hey, Mr. Black. Hey, Mr. White," Johnny greeted. "I don't have time for a mission right now. I'm in the middle of somethin'."
"We know," Mr. White replied. "We're just here to meet your new friends and check out what you're building out here."
"Oh. Well, this is Phineas and Ferb and we just built a skate park," Johnny informed.
Mr. Black and Mr. White stared at the skate park in amazement. "Cool," they said in unison.
"Phineas and Ferb are geniuses like Susan and Mary and they build a lotta cool stuff in their backyard," Johnny explained.
"What kinda stuff?" Mr. Black asked curiously.
"We do something different everyday," Phineas began. "We built a rollercoaster, a beach, a miniature golf course, a water slide..."
While the construction drones were working on the action figures, Dukey and Perry were staring out the window, admiring the skate park.
"What a cool skate park!" Dukey exclaimed. "I can't wait to ride it."
Suddenly, a set of miniature TVs inside the lab turned themselves on and Hank Anchorman appeared on the screens.
"Hank Anchorman here with breaking news," Hank announced. Dukey and Perry started watching the news report. "Porkbelly faces total destruction, thanks to Wacko, the evil toymaker and some crazy pharmacist."
Hank was interrupted by Wacko and Doofenshmirtz, who appeared on the screens and pushed him aside.
"Greetings!" Wacko exclaimed. "I, Wacko, and my new partner, Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz, are taking over Porkbelly."
"Then, we are taking over Danville," Doofenshmirtz added.
"If you're watching this, Dukey the Dog, be warned. I know where you and Johnny Test live and once I own Porkbelly, I will eliminate you both," Wacko threatened.
"That goes for you too, Perry the Platypus, once I own Danville," Doofenshmirtz threatened. "Except for the 'knowing where you live' part."
"Good luck tryin' to stop us when you three come out of hiding!"
"You might as well give up 'cause we're unbeatable!"
Wacko and Doofenshmirtz laughed evilly. Dukey and Perry became nervous.
"Oh, man. I hope Johnny doesn't find out about this," Dukey commented.
I hope Phineas and Ferb don't find out either, Perry thought.
"...a time machine and a go-kart track," Phineas continued.
Mr. White whistled. "That's impressive," he complimented.
"Do you ever build weapons like ray guns or missiles?" Mr. Black questioned.
"No, we never build anything destructive," Phineas answered.
"Alright, that's all we needed to know," Mr. White said. "Enjoy your skate park."
"Before you guys go, have you seen Dukey?" Johnny asked.
"Or Perry?" Phineas added. "He's our platypus."
"Actually-" Mr. Black began. He was interrupted by Mr. White elbowing him. "Nope, haven't seen 'em."
"Oh, well. It was nice meeting you guys,"
"Same here," Mr. White replied as he and Mr. Black started leaving the backyard.
"How'd they know we were building something out here?" Phineas asked in confusion once Mr. Black and Mr. White were out of earshot.
"They're secret agents who work for the government. Sometimes, they spy on me and my sisters," Johnny explained.
Susan, Mary & Candace entered the backyard and started setting up their spy cameras.
"Hey, it looks like the girls are gonna film us again," Phineas pointed out.
Johnny realized that Susan, Mary & Candace were trying to bust Phineas, Ferb & himself again. He immediately thought of a way to thwart their plans.
"I'm gonna go get my skateboard," Johnny said. "I'll be back."
Mr. Black and Mr. White were in the front yard, walking over to their van.
"Guys, wait up!" Johnny called out as he ran up to them. They stopped and turned towards him. "Can you do me a favor?"
"What is it?" Mr. Black asked.
"Phineas and Ferb have an older sister who's tryin' to bust us,"
"What's her plan?"
"To film the skate park. She's gonna show it to my dad when he gets home and then, she's gonna show it to her mom when she goes back to Danville. Is there any way you guys can stop her?"
"Well, there is one way," Mr. White replied as he and Mr. Black each pulled out a laser.
"Whoa!" Johnny shouted, startled by the idea the agents had in mind. "I don't mean get rid of her. I mean get rid of the evidence."
"Oh, right," Mr. White said in embarrassment as he and Mr. Black put away their lasers. "Even if we do destroy the evidence, your dad's gonna see the skate park anyway unless you get rid of it before he gets back."
"We'll cross that bridge later. I just wanna ride the skate park first,"
"Okay, we're in," Mr. Black agreed. "We got nothin' else to do."
"Cool. One thing though; Susan and Mary are helpin' her so it might be harder to pull this off," Johnny mentioned.
"No problem, Johnny," Mr. White assured. "We'll make sure you don't get busted."
Susan, Mary & Candace were done setting up the spy cameras. They were all attached to either the backyard fence or the roof of the house.
"All the cameras are in position and activated," Susan informed. "Now, we can film the entire skate park."
"All we have to do is upload the footage onto our computer and busting our brothers should be easier than a quadratic equation," Mary added.
"For a couple of nerds, you rock!" Candace complimented.
The girls headed back inside the house. Then, Johnny and Gil entered the backyard and rejoined Phineas and Ferb. The former two had their own skateboards while the latter two had spares that were built by the construction drones. The four of them were also wearing helmets.
"We're back and we got our skateboards," Johnny said.
"You guys ready to shred?" Gil asked.
"You bet!" Phineas cheered as Ferb gave a thumbs-up.
Johnny, Gil, Phineas & Ferb took off on their skateboards and started riding different ramps. Meanwhile, Mr. Black and Mr. White started disabling the spy cameras and throwing them into the back of their van. While all this was going on, a song about skateboarding played in the background.
Back in the lab, the construction drones had just finished building two life-size action figures that resembled Dukey and Perry.
"Action figures completed," one of the drones said.
"That was fast," Dukey commented. "Thanks, drones."
"No problem, Dukey," another drone replied.
"Now, we can fight Wacko and Doofenshmirtz!" Dukey exclaimed. "Let's go!"
Dukey and Perry climbed into their respective action figures. A skylight in the lab opened automatically, creating a large opening that both action figures could fit through. Dukey and Perry activated their action figures and used them to exit the lab. Then, the skylight closed itself and the construction drones headed over to another part of the lab.
Once Dukey, Perry & the construction drones were gone, Susan, Mary & Candace entered the lab and walked over to the supercomputer. They turned it on and started watching the skate park. There were multiple screens that showed different areas of the backyard. Suddenly, the cameras began turning to static one by one until they all stopped working.
"What just happened?" Candace asked in shock.
"Our cameras aren't working anymore!" Susan shouted angrily. "Why are they not working?"
"This has Johnny written all over it," Mary realized. "He knows we're trying to bust him and now, he's trying to stop us."
Back in the backyard, Johnny was walking around the skate park when he was stopped by Susan, Mary & Candace, who were glaring at him.
"We know you're trying to stop us from busting you, Johnny," Mary said sternly.
"What did you do with our cameras?" Susan questioned.
"I had nothin' to do with it," Johnny lied, trying to act innocent. "Ask Gil if he knows where they are."
"Gil's here?" Susan and Mary asked in surprise.
"Who's Gil?" Candace asked.
"Our next-door neighbor," Johnny answered. He pointed to Gil. "He's over by the giant half pipe if you wanna go talk to him."
Susan, Mary & Candace looked in the direction Johnny was pointing and saw Gil. Susan and Mary screamed joyously and rushed over to him.
"Hi, Gil," the twins greeted in unison.
"Hey, Susan. Hey, Mary," Gil greeted. "Do you know Phineas and Ferb?"
"Yeah, they're the ones who built the skate park," Mary replied. "Do you like it?"
"Yeah, it's the raddest skate park ever," Gil commmented. He noticed Candace. "Who's the girl with the long neck?"
"That's Candace. Phineas and Ferb are her brothers," Susan informed. "Can we watch you skateboard?"
"Sure,"
"Susan, Mary, wait!" Candace called out as she ran up to Susan, Mary & Gil. "I thought we were gonna bust our brothers."
"Bust your brothers? Are you tryin' to get Johnny, Phineas and Ferb in trouble?" Gil questioned. "That's not cool."
Gil gave the girls a look of disapproval. Susan and Mary were afraid that he'd be mad at them if they told him they were helping Candace.
"Of course not. We don't want to get them in trouble," Mary said.
"Candace is the only one who wants to do that," Susan said.
"WHAT?" Candace shouted, shocked and furious that Susan and Mary had just turned on her.
"Alright, good to know," Gil said. "I'm gonna ride the half pipe if you two wanna join me."
"Okay," Susan and Mary agreed as they walked off with Gil.
"Fine! I'll get someone else to help me bust our brothers and you can forget about splitting the money your dad pays me when he gets back!" Candace growled angrily as she marched back over to Johnny. "Don't think I don't know what you're doing," she told him.
"What'd I do?" Johnny asked.
"You're using Gil to distract Susan and Mary from busting you. That won't work on me 'cause the guy I'm crushing on is back in Danville,"
Candace stormed off. Johnny was glad Susan and Mary ditched her.
"Hey, Test," Sissy greeted as she entered the backyard and approached Johnny. "Cool skate park."
"Thanks. My new friends, Phineas and Ferb, built it," Johnny replied, gesturing towards Phineas and Ferb, who were grinding a rail.
"Those two built all this?" Sissy asked in disbelief, noticing Phineas and Ferb. "They're just kids."
"So? My sisters are a few years older than them and they can build the same thing," Johnny argued.
"True," Sissy agreed. "So, can I ride it?"
"Sure but first, you have to admit I'm a better skateboarder than you are,"
"No way! I'm the better skateboarder!"
"I have a real skate park in my backyard," Johnny bragged. "All you have in your backyard is a half pipe."
"At least, I get to keep my half pipe," Sissy pointed out. "When your dad sees your skate park, he's gonna tear it down."
Johnny knew Sissy was right but he didn't want to let her win. "Not if I can get it outta here before he gets back," Johnny said.
"Wanna bet?" Sissy challenged.
"Yeah! If I can get the skate park outta my backyard before my dad gets home, I get all your video games,"
"And if you can't, I get all your video games?"
Johnny didn't want to risk losing his video games but he figured since Phineas and Ferb never got in trouble for their projects, he'd have a good chance of winning the bet. "You're on," Johnny agreed.
"You're gonna lose big time, Test!" Sissy taunted.
"That's what you think, Sissy!" Johnny retorted before walking off.
"Stupid Test," Sissy muttered to herself once Johnny was out of earshot. "He'll be sorry when I win his video games."
"Does Johnny annoy you too?" Candace asked as she approached Sissy.
"Yeah, he thinks he's better at skateboarding than I am just 'cause he has a skate park in his backyard," Sissy replied.
"I overheard you two talking," Candace informed. "I can help you win that bet."
"You can?"
"Yeah, if you help me with something,"
"That depends. What do you need help with?"
"I wanna bust Phineas and Ferb. They're my brothers," Candace explained. "Every day, they build stuff like rollercoasters and beaches in our backyard and every time I try to show my mom, they disappear somehow before she can see them."
"Phineas and Ferb built a rollercoaster and a beach? That's really cool," Sissy commented. "Johnny's sisters invent stuff too."
"They were supposed to help me bust the boys but they ditched me for that Gil guy," Candace mentioned.
"That figures. They're obsessed with him,"
"So, can you help me?"
"How is busting your brothers gonna help me win the bet?" Sissy asked.
"If they get busted, you'll win the bet," Candace answered. "We just have to get Johnny's dad home before the skate park disappears."
"Okay. If it means I beat Test, then I'll help,"
"Great! I'm Candace, by the way. Is Sissy your real name or was that just an insult?"
"No, it's my real name. Why?"
"Just asking. Let's get to work,"
Sissy and Candace walked off. Unbeknownst to them, Mr. Black and Mr. White were spying on them while hiding in a nearby bush. They climbed out of the bush once Sissy and Candace were gone.
"Looks like she's got a new busting partner," Mr. Black said, regarding Candace.
"We gotta warn Johnny!" Mr. White panicked.
