JOHNNEAS & FERB 2

Chapter 6

A while later, Phineas, Ferb, Candace & Perry prepared to leave. They along with Johnny, Dukey, Susan & Mary were in the lab.

"Well, it's almost time for us to call it a day," Phineas said. "Mom and Dad are gonna be home soon."

"Dinner's almost ready, kids," Hugh announced as he came into the lab. "Your friends can join us if they want."

"Thanks for the offer but I think our parents want us home for dinner,"

"Maybe another time then." Hugh pulled his wallet out of his pocket and took out $20. "Before you go, here's 20 bucks." Hugh gave Candace the money. "Thanks for looking after your brothers and my kids while I was gone."

"No problem," Candace said as she took the money.

"I have to say you boys are very smart for your age," Hugh told Phineas and Ferb. "I bet your parents are real proud."

"They don't even know. Every time I try to show Mom one of their inventions, it disappears somehow,"

"Really? That's strange. Anyway, it was nice having you three here today. Come back anytime," Hugh said before leaving the lab.

"Thanks for visiting, guys. I had a great time," Johnny said.

"So did we," Phineas replied. "We'll plan on revisiting sometime and if you want, you can revisit Danville."

"That would be great,"

"Sorry we ditched you earlier, Candace," Mary said. "We didn't want Gil mad at us for helping you."

"It's okay. I would've done the same thing if Jeremy was here," Candace replied. "How do we get home?"

"We still have the portal we used to visit Danville. We can use it to transport you there," Susan informed.

The portal was attached to the supercomputer. Susan and Mary activated the portal and programmed it to send Phineas, Ferb, Candace & Perry back to Danville. The machine started to shake and spark and after a few seconds, a portal appeared. The Test and Flynn-Fletcher kids said their goodbyes. Then, Phineas, Ferb & Candace jumped into the portal.

Dukey leaned close to Perry and whispered, "Thanks for visiting, Perry. I had fun today. I'll visit Danville again sometime."

Perry smiled at Dukey and gave him a thumbs-up. Then, he jumped into the portal and it disappeared after Perry entered it.

"It's dinner time, kids! We're having meatloaf!" Hugh called from downstairs. Johnny, Dukey, Susan & Mary groaned in disgust.

"Not again," Johnny complained. "Do you think it's too late to ask Dad if we can have dinner at Phineas and Ferb's place?"

In Danville, a portal appeared in the Flynn-Fletcher backyard. Phineas, Ferb, Candace & Perry jumped out of the portal. Then, the portal disappeared. The group of four explored their surroundings.

"Looks like we made it home," Phineas announced. "And the sun's back out."

"Well, even though I didn't bust you guys, I still had a better day than I would've if I had stayed home," Candace commented.

"Did you have fun too, Perry?" Phineas asked. Perry chattered in response. "I'll take that as a 'yes'. Susan and Mary have a cool lab. We should add that to our list of things to build this summer, Ferb. Maybe, we can use it to store our projects like the portal we built this morning."

Candace suddenly realized something. "Wait! The portal!" she interrupted. "I can use that as evidence. Let's check the garage and see if it's still there."

Phineas, Ferb & Candace made their way over to the garage while Perry stayed behind. When they entered the garage, they saw that the portal was gone.

"It's gone!" Candace shouted in shock.

"That's weird," Phineas commented. "I wonder what happened to it. Do you think someone broke into the house while we were gone?"

"I found the problem," Ferb informed as he pointed to an outlet which the portal was plugged into.

Phineas looked at the outlet and noticed that it was labeled as 'high voltage'. "Oh, that's what happened," he realized.

"What happened?" Candace asked.

"We plugged the portal into a high voltage outlet," Phineas answered. "It must've been so powerful that it imploded after we left."

"Oh, well," Candace groaned. "At least, I still have the picture I took of the skate park."

The group of three heard the front door open. Then, a voice exclaimed, "Kids, we're home!"

Phineas, Ferb & Candace walked into the kitchen and saw Linda and Lawrence entering the kitchen from the living room.

"Hi, Mom. Hi, Dad," Phineas greeted.

"Hello, boys," Lawrence greeted. "How was your day?"

"It was awesome! Isabella, Buford & Baljeet were all busy today so we visited Porkbelly and hung out with Johnny,"

"How nice, Candace," Linda said. "You took them to visit their new friend."

"Yeah, and look what they did," Candace instructed as she pulled out her cell phone and showed Linda the picture of the skate park.

"They went to a skate park?"

"No, they built a skate park in Johnny's backyard,"

"Susan and Mary invent stuff just like Ferb and I do and they have these cool construction drones that helped us build the skate park," Phineas explained.

"You boys and your active imaginations," Linda replied.

"Mom, they're telling the truth," Candace argued.

"Candace, it's impossible for a skate park to be built in a day and I'm sure Johnny's parents wouldn't approve of it being in their backyard,"

"You'd be surprised. His dad saw the skate park and he was okay with it,"

"Well, it's good to know he's supportive," Linda commented. "I'd like to meet the parents someday."

"So would I," Lawrence agreed.

Later that night, Johnny and Dukey were playing video games in Johnny's bedroom. The game they were playing was one of the games Sissy gave Johnny after losing the bet.

"Where'd you get the new video games?" Dukey asked, noticing the stack of Sissy's video games near Johnny's console.

"I won a bet with Sissy. She said I could have all her video games if I got rid of the skate park before Dad came home," Johnny explained.

"So, that's why you moved it," Dukey realized.

"That and I didn't wanna get in trouble," Johnny added. "What'd you and Perry do?"

"We went on another mission and fought that evil pharmacist again. He was visiting Porkbelly and he was working with Wacko," Dukey explained.

"No way!" Johnny exclaimed in surprise. "Did Mr. Black and Mr. White know about it?"

"Yeah, but I told them not to tell you 'cause I knew you wanted to hang out with Phineas and Ferb,"

"That's cool. Is Wacko back in prison?"

"No, he's back at that day camp he hates," Dukey replied. "We thought it'd be a better punishment for him. I wonder if he's still there."

Wacko and Doofenshmirtz were in the swamp outside of Porkbelly, rushing over to Wacko's lair after escaping from Sunshine Happy Kiddie Day Camp. They were panting and sweating after running so much. When Wacko and Doofenshmirtz entered the lair, they took a moment to catch their breaths.

"I think we're safe now," Wacko said in relief.

"I thought we'd never get outta there," Doofenshmirtz complained.

"I can't believe it!" Wacko shouted angrily. "I failed again and Johnny Test didn't even show up this time! I've never been more humiliated!"

"Now, you know how I feel. I get beaten by a platypus everyday," Doofenshmirtz commented.

"Even though we didn't take over Porkbelly, it was nice workin' with you, Doofenshmirtz," Wacko admitted.

"Same here, Wacko," Doofenshmirtz agreed. "We should team up again sometime."

"I agree. We'll have to step up our game now that our nemeses know each other. We're gonna have to talk about that self-destruct button thing too," Wacko informed.

"I know. It's a bad habit of mine," Doofenshmirtz admitted. "I'd better get back to Danville. You can visit sometime if you want."

"I'll take you up on that offer," Wacko replied. "Are you gonna revisit Porkbelly?"

"I might if I have nothing else to do," Doofenshmirtz agreed.

The villains said their goodbyes. Then, Doofenshmirtz left the lair.

"Looks like I'm on my own again," Wacko said to himself. "No matter. I've worked alone before and there are plenty more ways to destroy Johnny Test and take over Porkbelly. It'd be nice to have my old partners back though."

As if on cue, Brain Freezer, Mr. Mittens, Albert the butler & the Beekeeper entered the lair.

"Hey, Wacko," Brain Freezer, Mr. Mittens & the Beekeeper greeted in unison.

"What're you guys doin' here?" Wacko asked in surprise.

"We felt bad about ditching you the other day and wanted to know if you still need our help," Brain Freezer answered.

"Why? I thought you wanted a break from evil," Wacko reminded.

"We did but we got bored," Mr. Mittens replied. "Being evil is too much fun."

"It's even more fun when we work as a team," the Beekeeper added.

"You mean it? You guys wanna work with me again?" Wacko questioned.

"Yeah!" the other villains (minus Albert) exclaimed.

"I'm only here against my will," Albert said flatly.

"In that case, it's good to have you back, gentlemen," Wacko replied. "The Johnny Stopping Evil Force 5 is back in business!"
