8. GOOD NEWS!

Greetings and salutations, one and all.

If you are new to this story, I do apologize for the strange situation it's currently in. This has been a joint project for years between trickle and myself and with these years comes improvements to how we write. While this did just start off as a fun role play between complete strangers, the fact that we've been doing this on and off for 15 years is a testament. To what, I'm not sure. Maybe it's proof that we're insane, hehe.

As the eldest and most experienced in writing and editing, I have been revamping this admittedly flat story. So far, the prologue and first two chapters are the new version and I really so hope that you, my dear readers, really appreciate the loving edits. The rest of the chapters I am keeping up so you all may suffer in the cringe until I can finally get to the chapters. Muahaha.

Though some words of encouragement, mainly for trickle, would be treasured. She has improved so much as a writer and I am beyond proud, but after years, my words can only go so far. Any advice for her on how to better write Raven in the coming Role Play replies (or RePlies as I like to type) might also help her in the long run.

Aside from this update, I am glad to see that there are still a few stragglers who come across this story. I've been working on this every spare minute I can outside of work and depression. I've even begun making some art to showcase any costume changes for the characters and what they may look like in their civilian form, as well as a few couple poses for Slade/Raven.

I'm no artist. I merely dabble and experiment for hours, but these painted works are definitely something I want to share... once I have the confidence to share it in the first place. XD

Trickle and I really do hope that y'all are enjoying the story, seeing as people barely interact meaning we just have to continue hoping for the best. Granted, we didn't start this RP to post it, but I saw the potential and with her permission, started sharing. We just hope all my editing efforts haven't gone to waste.
