Today, is a BIG DAY!
Currently ino and along with her other teammates had received a news about the upcoming Harvest festival this friday, it is announced to honor the farmers who've been working hard all this years to provide everyone food and ingredients used for everyone's daily life.
Ino being herself have been very excited the moment she heard that news. Although she doesn't show it nor does anyone know, she actually can't wait to join in the festival's cooking contest! Well of course when ino spoke about joining that.. Both shikamaru and choji look at her in terror and shock
"Ino you know i really cherish you as a friend... I think it's better if you don't join that event.."
"yeah ino even if were still young I don't think they will forgive you for food poisoning hundreds of people"
Choji spoke first, followed by shikamaru.
Ino could only feel wrath and frustration towards them as she hit both of them in their head "WHO SAID I'M GOING TO FOOD POISON PEOPLE!? For YOU'RE information, I'm a great cook! It's just that none of you know it!"
ino proclaimed huffing angrily at them
But it did not stop shikamaru from further speaking "yeah yeah.. Why are you so into that anyway? it's not like you're so into showing everyone that you can cook" he asked in confusion, in which, he is indeed right. Why ino suddenly want to join that event?
Ino went silent for a bit and look for an answer but was unable to find a reasonable excuse. Perhaps she joined after sasuke seems to be satisfied by her cooking?
By that thought ino's face quickly become red which give shikamaru an idea "ugh.. don't tell me your doing this because you want Sasuke's attention or compliment" shikamaru grunted, mumbling troublesome underneath his breath. Ino after hearing those words quickly become more red and came to defense "WHA- of course n-not! why does it matter to you if i wanted to try something new!" she quickly denied as she came up of an 'excuse' in where shikamaru doesn't believe. Not even one bit.
"well.. anyway ino you only have one more day left to get ready. I heard that there should be three main course to be made, a main dish, side dish and a dessert all should contain or be made by vegetables, meat and fruits. I'm afraid that your only going to cook super healthy which most doesn't like" choji disappointingly said attracting the other twos attentions, ino can't deny that she's pretty much still obsessed into being 'healthy' but she does know that if she do that in that event, then no one would like it.
"About that... I actually already know what to make and- i be honest it's not actually going to be what you call 'super healthy' but instead it will be like.. Kinda mid? but of course i make sure it still doesn't contain too much calories for health reasons!" ino assured them however the two is still not fully convince she can do it without making mistakes.. Though they're still teammates and overall friends, they still support ino regardless of what she will do or what type of crazy choice she will make.
After all, friends should be about trust and being supportive to each other.

"Ugh! those lazy people! Can't they make time to actually help a 'lady' go shopping for ingredients!?" Ino angrily mumbled, lightly stomping on the ground as she head towards the nearest and widest shopping market in konoha.
She swore her teammates always and she meant ALWAYS manage to find a way or reason of excuse to slitter away whatever she ask them to come with her! What if she went alone and something bad happened on her?! She bet they'll feel bad haha!
umm.. uhh she's walking alone right now but it's okay! It's broad in daylight and there's so many people walking and passing by! Ain't no way she's gonna get kidnapped. right..? oh well ino guess she should stay the heck away from the alleyways-
On her way ino 'coincidentally' run into sasuke well, not a literal run into 'him' but rather encountered him on her way. He was standing in front of a gift shop staring longingly in one of the items presented although ino can't figure out which one.
She had thought to leave him be but.. After running into him the last weeks several times perhaps sasuke would be more willingly to help ino than her stupid lazy teammates!
Shallowing her unexplained nervousness ino approaches sasuke and lightly tap him on his shoulder in which he respond by a light twitch before glancing to ino "ah- ehehhe... Hello! Good afternoon there sasuke kun! What are you doing here? are you looking for something?" ino wanted to greet him in a friendly and energetic manner but she only made it sound awkward and- weird.
Sasuke like always only huff as a reply and turned to leave till, ino grab his arm... Sasuke seems to be shock or most likely 'annoyed' well... even ino did not expect that reaction coming from herself. So her only choice is to make an excuse.
'ahhhh think ino think! what should i say!?! this feels and look so weird and awkward!'
"u-uh sasuke kun can you please help me go shopping!" she randomly blurted out and upon realizing ino can feel her face heats up
"I- um i was supposed to be with shikamaru and choji but they slitter away the moment i turn away due to their excessive laziness!" she added
Ino were not expecting any normal answer from sasuke, heck she would feel more happy and comfortable if he just left without a word.
'uggghh! why did i even grab him!?'
She screams internally now wondering how she would end this awkward conversation
"fine."
Ino was about to speak how it's okay if his busy and etc. She did not expect him to actually agree to her "r-really sasuke kun? oh thank you so much-! wait! sasuke kun wait for me!" well no matter how much ino like him before and how cool does he look.. There really are times where you will wonder if sasuke even know basic manner.

'Hm... i wonder if i should add cherry tomatoes...'
ino wonder as she stares down at the ingredients in front of her thinking carefully before she finally came up with an answer, which is, to take and add cherry tomatoes to her dish! She bet no one would expect that!
anyhow ino still did not expect sasuke to actually help and join her to shop without any questions ask. Perhaps he already knows ino will join the cooking event during the harvest festival?
"sasuke kun! what do you think will taste better for a drink? Should i make fruit juices or fruit shakes? maybe vegetables are okay too..." it was rather a weird question but ino is really in need of answer in that one
"No matter what it is, it's fine to me"
"huh? sasuke kun i didn't catch that, what did you said again?"
"nothing.. I said it depends on what dish are you going to present."
ino feels like that's not what he actually said first but maybe... maybe she actually misheard him the first time. Oh well his still kinda right, she really need to make up a decision already on what to make.

There's so many people now days, it's so annoying specially when one of my 'fangirls' get to find me.

in this gift shop... There's this beautiful lilac hair pin ribbon. And the moment i caught eye on it, it quickly made me think about ino..
Would that suit her? Heh of course it would.
Everything suits ino regardless of what she wear
while i stare at that item i seems to have fallen into trance, forgetting im in public.
I was so surprised when i felt a tap at my shoulder.. although im happy it was ino, at the same time i felt so embarrassed that for that moment... i lost track on what i was doing.
Ino as always greeted me with a happy, energetic expression. I feel happy and fluffy inside whatever she stares and smiles at me...
I don't know how to respond so I've only 'huff' before i turned away and tries to leave
i did not expect her to grab me...

tsk. how disappointing.
how could they do that to ino? if only i get to 'talk' to them personally.

i never felt so relief in my life after that... well.. im quite sad she didn't get to hear me say it but.. that's a moment of weakness right there.

i feel bad that i had to lie about it but.. she really shouldn't know this.. attraction i had towards her.
not when itachi is still around.
perhaps one day.. ino..
