November 3rd dear diary sorry I didn't write the 1st I ended up in the hospital 2 extra days due to a minor hiccup. I am ok now I reacted badly to my antibiotics. So, no penicillin for me ever again. Zack and his Siblings are staying with us while His Auntie and Uncle are on vacation he is still on crutches for another month. We will be incredibly busy this month as we all have events contest and Emily is having her first movie premiere this coming Sunday. Signing off till the 8th as its going to be very busy.
November 8th dear diary yesterday we saw Emily's very first movie she even walked the red carpet. We also celebrated several major milestones for the rest of us here are a few, I earned a 2nd place ribbon on my quilted purse in the school competition. Clara won the kids baking show, Rebecca earned a top scientist award. Elsie is working on her 2nd book; Savannah has earned the lead in the nutcracker. Rose has been chosen as 1st chair violin in her school's orchestra. Violet has won several awards. Gwen is becoming quite the little gymnast, and Georgia is now riding on her own with no side walkers. Signing off I need to finish several assignments for school as we are leaving tomorrow with the rest of the gang, for an extended winter break.
November 10th dear diary we arrived here in Germany very early this morning. we are doing European tour first Germany then France then England. We will be gone through the 15th of next year. We are here in Germany through the 30th then in France through the 31st of December. We are then in England until January 15th. I will write every few days as it's a busy trip we have things to do daily.
November 18th dear diary we ended up coming home early as dad received a very important message. He has just found out he can donate a kidney to his cousin who has been ill for almost 5 years. The surgery is scheduled for the 1st of December and he will be off work for about 3 months. This is an amazing thing he is doing. We also found out that dad's cousins' wife is a living match for Ellen who has been in kidney failure since august, so she will also be getting her new kidney the 1st.
I probably won't write till the 30th, as we have a lot to do before all of this and a few other medical related things.
December 4th dear diary sorry I didn't write dad and Ellen had their surgeries the 1st and will be home in about 10 days. In other family medical news Rebeca has officially broken her 1st bone the 3rd metatarsal in her left foot, she fell off the ladder on her loft bed. Savannah needed a bunch of stitches in her hand and arm after she sort of fell through mom's window, by sort of I mean she was half in half out. It was a freak accident she was closing the screen and managed to lean on the glass part and the screen fell out and her arm went through the glass.
Gwen and Georgia both have now broken something they fell off a swing and fractured their wrists. I had minor surgery yesterday for new ear tubes as did Elsie Emily and Clara. And the last medical emergency was that both Rose and violet needed stitches in their chins after a big bump falling from their new big beds. Signing off mom wants us all resting.
December 14th dear diary we are all recuperating from our illnesses and injuries, dad and Ellen were able to come home yesterday. We are all having to be incredibly careful about germs again as Ellen is now on meds that make her immune system not good. She will be on them for life as they protect her new kidney. She along with Daniel are staying with us while she recovers. This is better for them in the long run as they have decided to move back into the family house as its easier for us to help them here. They are both older and need help with the trivial things they used to do on their own. They are both recently retired. They will live in the basement suite and have their own small kitchen. Their little house is now the gathering place. This will be used for us older kids to hang out and watch movies have bible study and other things we may want to do. I am signing off I need some sleep I will write the 24th as we are all going on a cruise.
December 24th dear diary we spent today opening up gifts and relaxing. Mom and dad asked if it was ok to start the adoption of a set of sisters Isabella age 2 and Caroline age 4 they are the daughters of moms friends son. We said yes the process will start the end of next month. They both like Clara have what we call a lucky fin. Caroline's left arm is missing from the elbow, and Isabella was born missing her right arm, they are so cute mom showed us all pictures. I need to sign off its time for church.
December 31st dear diary sorry for not writing but the 2 newest family members arrived earlier then expected. They needed out of there living situation. There grandma has a few health challenges and is no longer able to care for them. They joined our family 2 days ago and are settling in pretty well. We set up a couple of new bedrooms one in Disney fairies, and one in a dumbo theme. Signing off through the 15th moms taking Elsie Emily Rebeca Clara Savannah and I to see the sights in Chicago.
January 15th dear diary sorry for not writing like I was going to I just got over strep throat. It was an amazing trip and mom said we will see so many big cities this year. She also said we are going to finish touring the United States. We leave tomorrow and won't be back until after the 1st of march I will write when I can.
January 30th dear diary we are having such an amazing vacation and I have been so busy I couldn't write. I am happy that I now have 2 more sisters. They are fitting in to our family like they were always here. Signing off till march 1st we are going to be so busy I can't write.
