November 1st dear diary I came home this afternoon Beth is such an amazing mommy to both girls. Silvia is an amazing big sister to baby Alexandra. Today at work Manny and Kelly welcomed baby Reuben James Garcia. He is 8 pounds and 18 inches long. he is named after Manny's brother and Kelly's grandfather. He was born 5 days early and will go home tomorrow.
In other news I aced my first round of exams and will be taking 2 more collage level courses starting next week as the ones at Hexly hall are way to easy. I will only be there for math my worst subject, and only taking 3 classes at royal prep including another ballroom dance class and my choir group. In very special news my aunt and cousin are living in the village. They found what's called an apartment which is basically a tiny house in a building with other tiny houses. It is above the Hauntly's garage, the other one is taken by our local butcher and his son. I better sign off I have a ton of work to finish before my late shift.
November 3rd dear diary I spent yesterday busy helping dad with a bunch of royal business. He has appointed me the young royals go to when they visit. This basically means I help young royals feel welcome and hang out with them. Elsie is the one helping royals her age. Signing off I am working a double as Dorrie has hurt her knee badly.
November 10th dear diary sorry I haven't written I am working doubles almost every day as Dorrie needed surgery to repair her knee injury. She is on light office duty until January as they had to repair several tendons. I am going to sign off mom needs help with a secret mission.
November 12th dear diary mom and I got home an hour ago from our mission. We were the adoption of Oona's new baby sister. Her mom recently remarried. They adopted a baby mermaid girl. She is so stinking cute, and she is tiny as she was born just a touch early. In other news my aunt went out on a date with the butcher. They seem to like each other so I wonder how that will end up going.
We spent the rest of the day in weekend clinic I now see pregnant staff members on weekends. Today with guidance from Violet over crystal ball I helped our librarian give birth to a baby boy. I had to do it alone since we are in the middle of a huge blizzard. Signing off I am exhausted and have what I am suspecting is a uti.
November 16th dear diary sorry I didn't write we just got home from a surprise 4 day visit to my home village for mom's birthday. this was such a fun surprise for her and I as I haven't been back in a very long time. We were able to attend my best friends high school graduation she graduated early as she is now a sorcerer. I will write when I get a chance I am doing a 2 week long program in Galdez to help further my midwife skills.
December 1st dear I got home from my program late yesterday afternoon and was excited to be home. We all learned so much and I met several other princess midwifes. And diary I also discovered that mom has either a half-sister or sister who is also a midwife she hasn't ever met mom as far as I know. And I don't know if mom knows anything about her. I discovered this completely by accident as she looks just like me and the lady in charge did some sort of test and it showed she's my maternal aunt.
I need to sign off and discuss this huge news with mom I will write in a little while. I am back it turns out mom did sort of know about my aunt Karen but has never met her, she is the baby girl my grandparents gave up for adoption just a year before they were married. this makes her moms full sister. Mom and she talked for several hours on crystal ball. She is coming out here to visit next month some time. This means mom is actually 2nd oldest of her siblings. And mom said grandma would be so happy they finally met. Mom said she discovered some of this information on accident when she was pregnant with me. All she knew was a name and age plus where she was adopted from. Signing off mom wants me to rest and relax as I have a migraine a lady issues going on.
December 10th dear diary sorry I haven't written I have been having some lady issues. And needed to get a special shot too try and help with them. I will be very busy over the next few weeks, I am working a lot to help out the others as Violet has a very bad case of pneumonia. She is in the hospital for at least the rest of the month. We have so many moms expecting that mom has been helping. She worked as a midwife when I was really little. So between her the other girls Tilly and a new lady on our staff we have it all under control. Signing off till the 24th I am so busy I need some me time.
December 24th dear diary we all spent the day relaxing after a busy few weeks and mom has announced that she and dad are going to be adopting a set of twin girls who are the daughters of one of our stable hands. Isabella and Caroline are not quite 3 months old. their mom has decided as long as she can see the girls they are able to be adopted by mom and dad. This choice was made as she is in a not great situation. She will see them as often as she likes, but they will grow up thinking she's there aunt. Signing off till the first as we are going on vacation.
January 10th dear diary sorry for not writing the house has been crazy, between the babies moving in and all of us getting bronchitis we have been busy. I am going to write the 30th as I am heading out for a 20 day midwife practical exam.
January 30th dear diary I only have a couple minutes to write as mom is waiting for me downstairs. She Elsie the new twins and I are going on a long trip to various kingdoms to help with midwife and nurse work I will write march 1st as that's when we will be back.
