Where they would meet the cast of The Owl House... Note: It's rated M, there will be adult language, that is all for that. There is gore but that won't happen until way later into the story.

16. Chapter 14: Be Greater

Chapter 14: "Be Greater."

Luz and Amity were watching the conversation. They were so interested to see Lilith and her group. Amity never expected to see many humans and never thought in a million years

"I never expected to see so many humans in one place," said Amity.

"Yeah but this is so cool. It feels so unreal at this point," said Luz.

"Luz, I remember you mention you know Mario even though you never met him in person. Why is that? Is he like a celebrity?" asked Amity.

"Well, it's a bit complicated… You see, in my world, he's from a video game called Super Mario. The same thing goes for the others, Link, Kirby, Ren, Sora," answered Luz.

"Video games? What is that?" asked Amity.

"Oh boy, right… You don't have that in the Boiling Isles. Simply put, video games are interactive entertainment. There are consoles, computers, and arcades. It's kinda like the phone you guys have except it can be displayed on the TV… Oh right, you have those kinds of television," answered Luz.

"I kinda get it. So it's like games except the games are displayed on a screen," said Amity. "I noticed she has the same name as Eda's sister."

"Now, you mention it. You're right, it's a rare thing to a meet person who has the name Lilith," said Luz.

"Hey Lilith, I was wondering where you guys were," said Brick.

"Brick! Brick! Brick! Hi," said the young teenager calmly.

The young teenager had blonde and blue eyes. She was wearing a mask on the right side of her head and the mask had a similar design to Krieg's mask. She has red ribbons attached to her hair. She is wearing a pink shirt underneath a brown dress with a pink design that has an adorable bunny but its mouth and eye are crossed out. A bandaid on her left arm and sleeve cloth strapped on her right arm. Around her waist, she has two pouches, one brown pouch in front and a white pouch with a bunny design from behind. She's also wearing a backpack and there are pairs of scissors attached to the strap. She has a bunny button attached to her backpack. On her left wrist, she is wearing a watch with a bunny design and an orange wristband along with dynamite. She is wearing orange pants, the left side is slightly tucked up while half of the right side of the pants is ripped. She is wearing two different socks, on her left foot, and she's wearing a pink long sock. On her right foot, she has a short white sock with two pink stripes on the top part of the sock. Just like the socks, she's wearing two different shoes, a mary jane shoe on her right foot, and an orange hightop sneaker.

"Hey, Tina. It's good to see you crazy bomber," said Brick happily. "Mordecai, come here bro!"

Brick and Mordecai did a bro handshake. Mordecai has long black hair in a ponytail and a sharp beard, and he is wearing goggles. Another red cloth wrapped around his neck down to his waist. The red cloth is also holding a sword on his back, underneath the cloth, he is wearing a brown shirt. His left arm is covered in bandages, a few straps attached to his wrist. There is a silver shoulder pad attached to his right shoulder. Mordecai is wearing two dark brown gloves and wearing light brown pants. A water container attached to his left hip, a pouch at his right hip, a third pouch at his back, and a brown bag attached to his left thigh. Brown boots, the right boot is covered in a red bandage, and four straps are attached to his left boot.

"It's a relief to find you guys. Seems you already made new friends," said Mordecai.

"Yeah, these guys are so far badasses. I used to dream of meeting video game characters. Guess it came true," said Brick.

"It's very uncanny to see that. Here I thought Pandora was weird but this place is closer to it," said Mordecai.

Tiny Tina gasps in shock seeing Kirby in person.

"Poyo?" said Kirby.

"Oh my god! It's… It's Kirby!" Tiny Tina grabs Kirby forcefully and bears hugs Kirby "Oh my lord, You're so squishy!"

"No. Tina, I know you're excited but crushing the little guy," said Axton.

"Whoa! Look at this crowd feels like I'm in a weird dream," said the cube robot.

The cube Robot has the color yellow around its body and has a white stripe in the center of its body. An antenna on top of its head and a singular blue eye on the top center of the body. It has two thin robotic arms. A black part on its chest that looks like a small vent. There is a label that has a sign it says "Warning." The robot has one wheel as a leg.

"Oh… You're here too?" asked Athena.

"Who is that?" asked Delsin. "Why did it sound like you didn't want him to be here?"

"This is Claptrap. A friend and co-worker," answered Athena.

"Hey, Athena. It's good to see you again. Even though it was just a moment ago," said Claptrap. "But I'm glad you and I are part of this shitshow."

While Claptrap is interacting with Athena and Delsin. Gaige walks up to Sora and begins to interact with him. She's a bit nervous about meeting the icon of Kingdom Hearts.

"Um… Hello, my name is Gaige. Big fan… Oh my god. Your games are so awesome, KH III was okay. But anyways, can I get your autograph?" asked Gaige.

"HOLY SHIT! IT'S SORA FROM KINGDOM HEARTS! WHOO! KIIINGGGDOOOMM HEEARRTSSS!" The muscular man screams excitingly.

"Whoa… So far this guy has the energy of "The Fan." That's impressive," said Sora.

The muscular man had long brown hair, a pair of sunglasses, white headphones, gold chains around his neck, and a red kerchief. The buff man isn't wearing a shirt but you can witness his glorious abs. He is wearing a pair of large spiky metal gauntlets and a pair of black fingerless gloves. He has a belt, blue jeans, a strap attached to his left thigh, and another strap attached to his right leg. There are two metal pads strapped to his knees, the right one is a metal pad with spikes and the left one is a standard metal pad. He is wearing black shoes that have a few straps on them. Gaige was surprised to see a good friend.

"Mister Torgue, why are you here?" asked Gaige.

"NEVER MIND ABOUT WHY. BACK TO DISCUSSION, A FANTASTIC FRANCHISE BUT I BELIEVE IT WOULD BE BETTER IF THERE WERE MORE EXPLOSIONS, THEN IT WILL BE A BETTER EXPERIENCE," said Mister Torgue.

Mister Torgue is known for the foundation of Torgue Corporations. A weapon manufactured that specializes in explosive elemental tech. Explosion shotguns, pistols, assault rifles, and rocket launchers however not snipers and SMGs.

"Explosions? Is that a bit… extreme?" asked Sora.

"EXTREME? NOPE, IT IS MAGNIFICENT TO WITNESS EXPLOSIONS," answered Mister Torgue.

"What? Adding more explosions would ruin the explosion of the KH franchise.

"WHAT? YOU TAKE THAT BACK," said Mister Torgue.
"No," said Gaige.

"EXCUSE ME, GAIGE?!"

"Nah-ah!" Gaige refuses.

Gaige and Mister Torgue stare at each other intensely. Sora was surprised to see the two individuals going at each other. Mister Torgue and Gaige smile and laugh it off.

"AW. I CAN'T STAY MAD AT YOU FOREVER," said Mister Torgue.

"Okay. You exploding behemoth. Maybe adding explosions won't be a bad idea," said Gaige.

"Wait, NOW I THINK ABOUT IT… IT MIGHT BE WEIRD TO ADD EXPLOSIONS CONSIDERING IT IS FROM DISNEY," said Mister Torgue. "WAIT… AM I ALLOWED TO SAY THAT?"

"Wow… This guy is expressive. I've been getting a few interesting interactions especially since they are big fans. Trust me you're not the only one who's gone full fan mode," said Sora. "You should've seen Luz's reaction the first time she saw me."

"Luz? Who is she?" asked Gaige.

"YEAH, WHO IS SHE? BECAUSE SHE SOUNDS LIKE A BADASS," said Mister Torgue.

"She's the one with the purple cat hoodie," answered Sora.

"Oh, that kid right there. What is she doing here anyway?" asked Gaige.

"That's my student," answered Eda. "Look enough with all this. Can't we just go back to the important talk?"

"Right. So, we heard Maya's echo… I didn't want to believe it at first but after seeing and meeting a friend of yours. We were convinced. When Maya said Handsome Jack was alive. At first, I thought she was pulling my leg but she was serious about it," said Lilith.

"I can't blame you for thinking like that, Lilith. None of us can because we never thought about the possibility of him coming back. As if it's a nightmare that came true," said Mordecai.

"No… I don't think he came back to life. It's pretty obvious that he's from your universe but in a different timeline," said Spider-Man.

"Different timelines? Aw no. Please do not tell this is a gonna complicated to understand," said Brick.

"Wait, what do you mean a different timeline?" asked Lilith.

"I'm gonna guess in his timeline that he became the winner in the story," said Spider-Man.

Lilith couldn't comprehend the information that Handsome Jack achieved his goal of opening the Vault.

"Handsome Jack won?" asked Lilith. "No, it can't be."

"That's right," said Mr. X.

His voice startled the Crimson Raiders.

"Gah! Who said that?" asked Gaige.

"Wait, is that you Mr. X?" asked Caboose.

"It is I, Caboose. It's good to see you all," answered Mr. X.

"Wait, where are you?" asked Lilith.

"Oh. First the talking invisible lady and now this. We can't see him for some reason," answered Eda. "Wait, do you know this chick?"

"No… I am familiar with the entity's existence and her communication with the party. But I have attempted to find this entity however, I'm having a difficult time communicating with her. By the looks of it, she doesn't know me either but knows I'm watching the story of this timeline." said Mr. X.

"Oh. So, this is Mr. X. He watches stories on his big TV and sees many universes," said Caboose. "He's a nice guy, you'll love him."

"Thank you for the enthusiasm, Caboose. I got this covered. Lilith. Known as the Firehawk. A Vault Hunter, and leader of the Crimson Raiders. I know you have many questions regarding Handsome Jack's appearance in the Boiling Isles and I have answers for them. But I'll get straight to the point, in your universe, you were the one who eliminated Handsome Jack. But in this alternate timeline, all of you have met a terrible outcome. In this alternate timeline, Handsome Jack was able to achieve his goal. Opening the Vault that holds the Warrior. Defeating the Vault Hunters and continuing his rampage through the corrupted lands of Pandora. After unlocking the Vault, he learned the Vault map showing other Vaults hidden across the galaxy."

Borderlands Story: What if Handsome Jack won?

Heroism is an aspect that many people desire to require in their life. However, there are people out there who believe are the hero or main focus of the story. Ignorant, cruel, and arrogant to understand who they are. Jack was one of those people who believe he was doing the right thing. Before the events of Borderlands, Jack was raised by his Grandmother who treated him harshly during his childhood. Jack gains resentment towards his guardian. As time went on, Jack found a job opportunity to work at the Hyperion Corporation as a standard programmer. During those years working as a small programmer, he was engaged and had a family of one daughter. Her name was Angel. Jack believed his life would be simpler however the fates have already plans for him. One day, Jack discovers Angel's unexpected development during her youth.

"Captain bear, who is a bear, he is a bear, Captain Bear," Angel sings as she plays with a green teddy bear named Captain Bear.

"Hey, Angel! Who's this guy?" asked Jack.

"Captain Bear! He eats crime," answered Angel.

"Well, he must be eating a lot with that big belly, huh?" said Jack. He notices the tattoo markings on Angel's arm. "Angel, darling, what's that on your arm? Did you do that?"

"Blue! I don't where it came from. Do you think it's pretty?" asked Angel.

"Yeah, sweetheart, it's… it's real pretty. Hey, uh, honey?! Can you get here for a minute?!" asked Jack.

That was the day when Angel manifest into a siren. This lead to concerns for Jack and his wife. Sirens are a rare specimen in the Borderlands universe. Only six Sirens can exist in the universe.

Later on, Jack's family went to the hospital to check on Angel's condition. Jack was getting candy from the vending machine however the machine malfunctions. This upsets Jack and he began slamming his fist against the machine.

"Stupid… goddamn… piece of asshole!" Jack exclaimed.

"What's an asshole?" asked Angel.

Jack was surprised to find his daughter right next to him, even saying an unnecessary word right in front of her.

"Oh, Angel! Sweetheart, I'm sorry, I didn't see you there. Uh… Don't say any of those words daddy said, okay?" asked Jack.

"Okay," answered Angel. "Is the machine broken?"

"Yeah. Looks like no candy for us," answered Jack. "Hey… Why don't you go back into the waiting room with mommy, darling? The doctor's going to be here any minute, okay?"

"I think I can fix it," said Angel as she use her Siren abilities to make the vending machine back to working condition. The vending machine began making noises then, candy bars began coming off the vending machine. Jack was surprised to witness Angel's new capability.

"What… the hell did you just do, Angel?!" asked Jack.

After time passes, a bandit named Grogmouth discovered Angel as a Siren and captured her. He planned to sell Angel considering Sirens are rare and valuable.

"Mommy! Daddy! Help!" Angel screams for help.

"Look, you filthy bandit just give us our daughter back, okay?!" asked Jack strictly.

Are you kiddin'? She's a freakin' Siren! I'm gonna be a trillionaire! You and your wife get out of here before I sic my turrets on ya. Forget the kid, go make another one," said Grogmouth viciously.

"No! I wanna go home!" Angel struggles.

"Shut up, or I'll-" Grogmouth was startled by the turret's activation due to Angel's phase shift. "Hey, what the…"

"I! WANNA! GO! HOME!" Angel screams furiously.

"Honey, get down! No! NO!" Jack screams.

When Angel unleashes her fury, her powers triggered and activated a turret nearby. Grogmouth who took her hostage brutally met his demise. However, the turret was shooting out of control and unfortunately, Angel's mother was caught in the fire and died instantly. When the firing was over, Angel realized and witness the collateral she has caused.

"...Mommy?" said Angel weakly.

"No, Angel, what did you do?! WHAT DID YOU DO?!" Jack screams painfully.

After the unfortunate tragedy of his wife's passing. Jack sought a plan to protect Angel by any means necessary. It was difficult to tell Jack's intentions by this action. Whether it was punishment or love. Jack decided to hide Angel from the rest of the galaxy or anyone.

"Daddy! Please, let me out!" Angel begs.

"No can do, my sweet little Angel. You're in that chair for your own good, okay?"

"You're such an asshole!" Angel screams at her father.

"LANGUAGE! Look, sweetheart. I can't let you out because of what you did to your mother, okay? I just couldn't bear it if something else happened to you," said Jack.

"I didn't mean to," said Angel sadly.

"Shhh, I know, darling. That's why you need to stay in the chair. But I got you something! That chair is connected to the entire Hyperion network. Now you can see through every satellite we own around every planet in the sky. You've got the best view in the whole universe from that chair. And we're gonna work together. You and me, kiddo. Sound good?" asked Jack.

"Yeah. Okay," said Angel.

"I love you, Angel," said Jack calmly.

"I love you, too, dad," said Angel.

Throughout her youth, Angel would spend her days inside a chamber. Sitting in a chair and witnessing every Hyperion Satellite's viewpoint but chained to Hyperion Technology. It didn't take long for Angel to heavily despise this gift. Jack would continue to use Angel as an asset for his self-benefit within the Hyperion Corporations.

Time passes. Angel has grown into a young adult. One day, Angel found four Vault Hunters on the Planet Pandora. Roland, Lilith, Brick, and Mordecai.

"Okay, any candidates today, Angel?" asked Jack.

"There are… four treasure hunters who arrived on a shuttle several hours ago. They are currently on a bus to Fyrestone," answered Angel.

"Great! Say this to 'em: "Don't be alarmed. I need you to stay calm and don't let on that anyone is talking to you. Start making your way off the bus," said Jack.

"The bus is still moving, sir," said Angel.

"Shut up. Tell them–" Jack was interrupted by someone who came barging in.

It was President Harold Tassiter of Hyperion Corporations. Tassiter questions Jack about the satellites.

"John? Why have you dispatched one of our satellites to Pandora? What are you doing?" asked Tassiter.

"Uh... Sir, uh, the energy readings my uh… instruments, uh, at home are getting from Pandora are-" Jack was interrupted.

"Get out of there at once, you hideous little code monkey! And shut off that satellite!" Tassiter exclaimed.

"Yes, sir. I'm sorry. Mister Tassiter, it won't happen again, sir," said Jack.

This would let the beginning of Borderlands. Angel would serve as a guardian angel and guide the Vault Hunters to reach their goal. Once the Vault Hunters reached their goal and the creature inside the Vault known as the Destroyed. Jack would collect the remains and use them as a weapon. This will be known as the eye of Helios.

"Wait, Mr. X. Why are telling us about Angel?" asked Spider-Man.

"Jack wouldn't make it that far to reach his goal without the help of his daughter. As well as the Vault Hunters who helped on the planet called Elpis," answered Mr. X.

Amity remembers the name Elpis from Handsome Jack's lecture.

"That's right. Earlier he talked about a Vault hiding inside a planet called Elpis. Jack hired a group of people to do that," said Amity.

"That's right. Athena and I were those Vault Hunters who used to work with Handsome Jack," said Claptrap.

"Wait, you were one of the Vault Hunters that worked with him?" asked Amity.

"Yes but that was a long time ago," answered Athena. "Times have changed since then."

"It's true. Athena did a lot of messed up things but it was under Handsome Jack's orders. In fact, Athena hated working with him," said Axton.

"I can't even imagine that. But something caught my attention. Claptrap, I can't imagine you as a fighter," said Luz.

"Oh yeah. I used to do all kinds of badass stuff. Placing turrets, turn invisible, become a wizard, use a rubber duck, and use a large bomb," said Claptrap. "But I can't do that anymore."

"Huh? Why not?" asked Luz.

"That's a story for another time. For now, let's get back into the topic," answered Claptrap. "Okay, You can continue."

Jack placed a job offer to open the Vault that resided within Elpis. Six Vault Hunters took the job to open the Vault on Elpis. Athena, Wilhelm, Nisha, Claptrap, Aurelia Hammerlock, and Timothy Lawerence who became Jack's doppelganger. To fight against the Lost Legion, an organization that saw future visions given by Elpis's Vault and led by Colonel Zarpedon. Jack acquired the help of Moxxi, Roland, and Lilith, who were in the area as well. During the process to reach the Vault, Jack's worst tendencies came to light. The Meriff attempted to shoot Jack but missed horribly. He begged for mercy however Jack didn't hesitate to open fire. Later on, Jack murdered a group of scientists by sending off them to space because he worries one of them was working with the Lost Legion or even attempting to backstab him. Even using the AI of Felicity as a weapon who refused to turn it into a weapon. Zarpedon was eventually defeated by the Vault Hunters and killed by Jack. Moxxi, Lilith, and Roland acknowledge Jack's dark side but continue to pose as allies until they get close to the Eye of Helios. They double-crossed Jack and destroyed the Eye of Helios.

"Oh, great, what now?" asked Jack.

"Jack… I'm sorry," said Roland.

"I'm not!" said Lilith.

The Hyperion voice started an alarm and Helios moonbase began shaking.

"Woah?! What the Hell?!" Jack exclaimed.

"Good job, everybody," said Moxxi.

"What's Moxxi—w-what the hell are you doing?!" asked Jack.

"Betraying you. Trying to kill you. Two things I shoulda done a long time ago, you power-hungry psychopath." said Moxxi coldly.

"What do you mean, Moxxi? How did you even–" Jack was interrupted by Moxxi

"I've been watching you, Jack. And behind that smile, behind that hero complex, there's something wrong about you. If you come down from Helios alive, a lot of decent people will live to regret it.

The Eye of Helios was falling apart.

"No, no, no. No, NOOO!" Jack screams furiously. "Damn it, I TRUSTED you, Moxxi! Do you know what you've just done?! You just killed us all!"

Everything went white for a brief moment and the Eye of Helios was destroyed.

"Bye-bye sugar," said Moxxi mockingly.

Luckily they survived but the Eye of Helios was shattered into pieces. Jack was coughing from the smoke.

"Dammit. DAMMIT! The EYE! That was ONE OF A KIND! The things I could have DONE! Friggin' liars – Friggin' COWARDS! They're no better than BANDITS!" Jack screams as he throws an object at the window.

Jack swore vengeance against those who betrayed him and show no mercy to them. The betrayal didn't slow down Jack at all. The Vault Hunters continue their way to their goal and reached the Vault. However, An Eridian guardian of the Vault known as the Empyrean Sentinel. The fight was difficult but the Vault Hunters were able to defeat the Empyrean Sentinel.

"Big bastard, wasn't he? Nicely done," said Jack. "Keep an eye on the creepy red one… I don't wanna get interrupted."

Jack finds the singular content inside the Vault. It was a floating symbol of the Vault. Jack was not pleased to find this reward as the major reward.

"Wait… What? That's it? That… little thing. The hell did…" Jack walks towards the symbol. "Oh… what kinda weapon…"

As soon as Jack interacted with the artifact, it reacted to Jack's presence. Jack was briefly floating, and a pile of stones emerged from the ground, creating a throne-like seat. The artifact began glowing and show Jack visions of the later future.

"Ohhhh my… GOD!" Jack awes.

The visions showed the inevitable story that occurs in Borderlands 2. In the opening of the Vault, it holds a mighty Eridian creature known as the Warrior and important information. However, there was an interruption.

"Heya, handsome," said Lilith as she strikes the artifact and Jack at the same time. The artifact was destroyed but it created a blast that destroyed Jack's left eye and branded the Vault symbol on his face.

"AAAAARGHGH!" Jack screams in agony. He fell to the ground and groaned in agony. Lilith leaves by using a portal. As for Athena, she watches all this but has no sympathy toward Jack.

"Rrrrhrgh! Son of a… I'm gonna KILL her! I'm gonna kill them ALL! First, you're gonna find me a doctor. Then we're gonna wipe those bandit bastards off the face of Pandora. And then… then, we're gonna wake The Warrior."

Athena was unsure what Jack meant by that. Considering Jack alone witnessed the visions of the future.

"The what?" asked Athena.

Jack goes to the stone throne and continues to plan his cruel intentions. He enjoys imagining all the things he's about to do in the future.

"It's gonna be so good. We're gonna scratch the freakin' planet in fire. There's gonna be screaming… bandits are gonna die left and right." Jack laughs maniacally. "I can't wait! Hahahahaha!"

Athena walks away from the laughing Jack. Athena was there to witness the entire story that occurred on Elpis. Even the death of a hero and the birth of a corrupted individual. Jack was no longer Jack but Handsome Jack. Jack believed it was time for a change for the Hyperion Corporations. Tassiter acknowledges Jack's corruption but it was the last thing he witnessed before he met his demise.

"Ah, tut-tut… now, now, Mister Tassiter, "blackmail" is such a dirty little word, isn't it? Actually, you know what, come to think of it, it's not a dirty word at all. It's kind of awesome. Blackmail! Say it with me: black…" said Jack mockingly. Hoping Tassiter would play along unfortunately, he wasn't having any of it.

"Oh, go to hell, John. Just because you got lucky with your Pandora hunch doesn't mean-" Tassiter was interrupted by Jack's mock.

"Because I was right, is what you mean. And call me Jack, idiot," said Jack cruelly.

"You may have been able to scare the other directors into giving up their shares, but I know you. I know that beneath that ridiculous mask, you're still a hideous, pathetic little nobody," said Tassiter viciously.

"Mister Tassiter… maybe you can settle up something for me… do you know the difference between choking and strangulation?" asked Jack.

However, Jack was no longer a nobody. In the future, many would fear his name. Despite Tassiter telling the truth to Jack. He didn't care what Tassiter had to say. In fact, nobody like Tassiter. So, good riddance.

"Mr. Tassiter? Mr. Tassiter, are you there?" asked the Hyperion employee on the phone.

Jack strikes Tassiter in the face, he collapses to the ground. Jack quickly went over to the desk and grabs Tassiter by the neck.

"Mr. Tassiter's has been replaced, sweetcheeks. Starting today, you're working for me," Jack.

"Who is-" The Hyperion employee recognizes the voice. "John, is that you?"

"Call me, Jack, Honey." Jack continues to strangle Tassiter. He struggles but unfortunately for Tassiter, Jack ended his life. He fixes himself and announces his new name. "Handsome Jack." said Handsome Jack.

This was the day when Handsome Jack was born. A man who believes he was doing the right thing however he does the opposite of heroism. After taking the position of President of Hyperion, Handsome Jack began his plan to open the Vault. Many people have suffered at the hands of Handsome Jack. A tragedy struck New Haven, and the city was lost. The Vault Hunters were almost killed by the forces Of Hyperion on the same day when New Haven was lost. Handsome Jack would continue his nightmare for years until one day. A new group of Vault Hunters came to Pandora. Axton, Salvador, Maya, Zer0, Gaige, and Krieg. Handsome Jack thought they were lowly peasants however he completely underestimates them. The Vault Hunters join with the previous Vault Hunters and the Crimson Raiders to fight back against Handsome Jack's forces. Handsome Jack used a better method to speed up the charging process by using a material known as Eridium and this elemental can amplify Siren's abilities. Handsome Jack uses this advantage by using Angel to charge up the key.

"Why isn't this working Angel?" asked Handsome Jack.

"I don't…" said Angel unsurely.

"I'm sorry. I don't know," said Angel.

"You're a Siren! You're one-of-a-kind—now make it work! I want that freaking Warrior. Angel, I want him awake, okay? I want him under my control, now… I want him now! NOT LATER! NOW!" Handsome Jack furiously demands it.

Charging the Vault Key was a difficult process and took time to charge. Eventually, Angel realized there was no hope for her of escaping from her father's grasp. She believed it was time to meet her end. Angel never had a fraction of free will throughout her life. Angel did betray the Vault Hunters however it was part of her plan to stop Handsome Jack. When the Vault Hunters discovered Angel, this infuriates him. Angel continues to help the Vault Hunters to find her location. Instead of being saved, Angel wishes for life to end and no longer serves her father as an asset. The Vault Hunters comply but before she drew her last breath.

"It's done. It's finally done. Thank you, friend," said Angel weakly.

"Angel, you can STOP this! I'll still forgive you, baby!" said Handsome Jack beggingly.

"Dad, I have something to tell you… You're an asshole," said Angel weakly. Then, Angel passes away.

"Angel! No! Angel!" Handsome Jack mourns.

The communication of Handsome Jack cuts off. The Vault Hunters look at the deceased Angel. Without Angel, Handsome Jack can't charge the Vault Key to open the Vault.

"What kind of person would do this to their own daughter?" asked Lilith.

"The kind of guy who deserves to die," answered Roland.

Roland tells the others about their next move to take down Handsome Jack and finish this.

"She's dead. Jack just lost his only way to awaken the Warrior. We've got the Vault Key, but this isn't over yet. We've gotta find Jack and take him out. Lilith, take the Vault Key to Tannis. I'm going after Jack." said Roland.

Unfortunately, Handsome Jack decided to make it even. Roland was shot in the chest from behind by him. Handsome Jack appears in front of the Vault Hunters

"ROLAND!" Lilith screams.

"Sup," said Handsome Jack

"You bastard, I'm gonna-" Lilith charges at Handsome Jack however he quickly places a device on her neck. Preventing her to use powers.

"Language. What's that saying? Don't pick a fight with a man with nothing left to lose? See, I'm going to show you just how much you have to lose - I got the most powerful Siren on the planet to do it with. Kill the Vault Hunters. We've got a date to keep with the Warrior." said Handsome Jack.

Lilith screams as she struggles to get away from Handsome Jack's orders.

"NO!" Lilith struggles as she uses her powers to teleport the Vault Hunters back to Sanctuary.

Handsome Jack used Lilith to charge the Vault Key. The Vault Hunters made their way to the Vault of the Warrior, the location of the Vault. Along with Handsome Jack and Lilith were forced to charge the Vault Key. The Vault Hunters finally encounter Handsome Jack. He wanted this and vowed vengeance to kill the Vault Hunters. Unfortunately despite his great efforts, the Vault Hunters were able to defeat him. However, the Vault Key was fully charged. Handsome Jack was able to place the Vault Key in the center of the Vault of the Warrior. With the opening of the Vault, the Warrior awakens from its long slumber. Handsome Jack commands the Warrior to kill the Vault Hunters. A final battle was against the Warrior, knowing it is the finale between the Crimson Raiders and the Hyperion Corporations. The Vault Hunters were able to defeat the Warrior and killed it. Handsome Jack couldn't believe that godly creature was killed by the Vault Hunters. But before Handsome Jack met his end, he let out his final words.

"No, no, no… I can't die like this… not when I'm this close… and not at the hands of a filthy bandit! I could've saved this planet! I could have actually restored order! I wasn't supposed to die by the hands of a CHILD-KILLING PSYCHOPATH! You're a savage! You're a maniac! You are a bandit! AND I AM GODDAMN HERO!" Handsome Jack screams furiously. "The Warrior was practically a god! How–HOW in the hell have you killed my Warrior? You idiots! The Warrior could have brought peace to this planet! No more dangerous creatures! No more bandits! Pandora… it could have been PARADISE!"

When Eda watches the last moments of Handsome Jack. She thought he was crazy but not by this length. After saying his final words, the Vault Hunters allowed Lilith to kill. Ending the Hyperion Corporations tyrant leader. However, in another universe luck was on Handsome Jack's side. With the leader of the Crimson Raiders dead. The Vault Hunters were the last hope however, they were overwhelmed by Handsome Jack's brutal forces. Despite taking down Handsome Jack's forces and even taking Angel's life. Handsome Jack's fury was strong and brutal, to make sure he won't fail and avenge his daughter. The Warrior proved to be a worthy and powerful weapon for the Hyperion Corporations. The Warrior began its rampage across the lands of Pandora. Blood, corpses, and screaming were stained everywhere. No one was safe and no one was left to rebel against Handsome Jack. Six months have passed since Handsome Jack opened the Vault. With the process of opening vaults. Handsome Jack thought he had everything but the achievement of reaching his goal came with a price. His daughter, Angel. He wishes that Angel didn't have to perish.

"I-I can't believe that. So, there was a chance we could've lost in our timeline," said Brick.

"Unexpected/An unfortunate learning of our counterpart's failure," said Zer0.

"I-I Can't imagine it… Me… Dead? Deathtrap, also dead?" said Gaige worryingly.

"Mr. X. You don't have to explain that part. I know Belos was part of this mess. Creep face told me Belos is using something to bring other people to the Boiling Isles. Not only that he told me that Belos promised something for him once Belos reaches his goal," said Eda.

Lilith was thinking and figuring out what Handsome Jack wishes. She acknowledges Handsome Jack never cared for anyone except for his only daughter, Angel.

"After hearing the full story… Ugh. I can't believe I was in the room with that monster," said Amity.

"Why though? How can he do that to his own daughter? Not even realizing all things he has done to her," said Luz.

"It's sickening I know," said Athena. "I never thought he would go that far to reach his goal."

"I think I know what he wants," said Lilith.

"What is it?" asked Mordecai.

"Angel… Most likely Belos promised him to bring back Angel," answered Lilith.

"Angel? That's right, his daughter. You mention that he had a daughter, that she died. But how did she die?" asked Amity.

"Just like Mr. X. guy said. We killed her," said Salvador.

The others were surprised by the answer from Salvador. The death of a child can do things to a parent, especially if they were murdered.

"It was her request/An unfortunate tragedy/However she wished for the downfall of her father," Zer0.

"It was the last thing she wanted. A galaxy where Handsome Jack no longer wonders the galaxy. I… I wished we could save her," said Maya.

Eda grips her fists tightly furiously knowing Angel meet an unfortunate end. Knowing there was no hope for Angel.

"That jerk! Oh… Now, I don't dislike him. I just hate him. He thinks he cares for his daughter but nope, he was just using her like a tool," said Eda upsettingly.

"Honestly, I can't blame you for feeling like that. All of us were disgusted by Handsome Jack's choice to use Angel as an asset," said Lilith.

"Just what Lilith said. He lost everything. His trust, his family. Even if care for them in a twisted way," said Axton. "The last time we fought. He was very pissed off about what happened to Angel. I guess there was some care into that messed up heart."

"What if that's not the case?" asked Salvador.

"Otherwise he wouldn't be doing this in the first place. He's not a very cooperative person. He literally hates everyone," answered Axton. "But somehow Belos was able to convince him about the possibility of bringing Angel back. Considering this guy has a time machine."

"Mm. That makes sense though. He didn't really care what happened to Nisha or Wilhelm," said Salvador. "Unlucky bastards those two. Two pendejos who were used like tools."

"But they weren't great people honestly they liked working with him. They didn't care who got in the way as long they pay. So, good riddance," said Axton.

"All of us have faced an enemy. Whether it was a powerful or a rival. In different timelines where they became the victor," said Zelda. "Unfortunate ends for our counterparts. Even Link and I don't know the fates our of counterparts yet. But I'm afraid to discover details of that story."

"Me too. I realized we haven't run into Bowser, Dedede, or Ganon yet," said Mario.

"So far it was Akechi, Allison, and Handsome Jack. Even the new guard that was with Lilith earlier," said Washington.

"As for Martin-li, he's a different story because I realized that Martin-Li is from my timeline. The last time I saw him, he didn't seem different or acted differently. Meaning he's the same Martin-Li that I knew because he would've said something like that if I died." said Spider-Man.

"I noticed that too. Most of you haven't encountered your enemy before. Even I worried what other worlds would be involved in this." said Mr. X.

"Really? Isn't it cool at least?" asked Luz.

"That may be true but Luz… None of this was supposed to happen in the first place. It can be dangerous for someone to wield such power," said Mr. X.

"Then why can't you just come over here and help us?" asked Eda.

"Unfortunately, I'm not the guardian of your universe. I have attempted to come to this universe but I'm not allowed to do that. What this means is that I can't enter this universe without your Guardians' permission. The only I can do is communicate with you all and open portals to other worlds," answered Mr. X.

"Guardian? What do you mean by that?" asked Delsin.

"I am a Guardian of countless universes however there are some universes I'm not familiar with. For example, I am familiar with many variants of Spider-Man but not this story of Spider-Man," said Mr. X. "I believe the same thing applies to the other entity. She acknowledges other universes out there and watches over them but only a good amount of them. There is also a possibility that your universe has an entity watching your stories and other worlds. But there hasn't been any sign of your guardian making contact with you."

"Yeah. Now you mention it. There should be a guardian of this universe. Maybe even Mario and Smash Brothers have a Guardian that watches them. Unless I'm overthinking," said Luz.

"No… You're correct. Look, I will attempt to find these Guardians and understand their lack of communication. However, it will be difficult to do because trying to communicate with different Guardians is a tricky process, not only that but not all Guardians expect visitors," said Mr. X. "And everyone… Please be careful, the road ahead is becoming and it will continue to grow."

"Wait, I have still questions," said Eda.

However, Mr. X hasn't responded meaning he is no longer there and left the presence of the area.

"Are you kidding?! Oh, you suck!" Eda exclaimed.

"Right, I forgot to mention he can't do that for a long time," said Tucker.

"So, now what? Are we stuck here?" asked Brick.

"Not until we can prevent the ruin from happening to all universe," answered Carolina. "We also have to help Luz because she's the one who can save this place. In the original timeline, Luz saves the Boiling Isles from ruin."

'Well, why can't we just take down the bad guys already?" asked

"I'm not sure about that's a good idea," said Spider-Man.

"Yeah, Brick. We have to take our time on this,"

"Huh? Why though?" asked Brick.

"After hearing about timelines. It made me realize that we should take our time on this and be prepared for anything. There's gonna be changes around this place that wasn't supposed to happen," said Mordecai.

"He's right. By the way, there is someone we want to meet. Guys, this is Luz Noceda. This is the girl we have to help on her journey," said Spider-Man.

Luz was surprised by this. The Vault Hunters were intrigued by Luz, and not disappointed. In their universe, a con artist and a Hyperion middle manager

"So, this kid is one to stop all this madness," said Lilith. "Honestly, I wasn't expecting that. But it's better than nothing."

"Huh? Aren't you disappointed?" asked Luz.

"No. Luz, Zer0 met Rhy and Fiona who opened a Vault. Not only that but they destroyed the Helios Station," answered Lilith. "Not only that but Tina is the same age as you and she has her own set of skills."

"Really? What kind?" asked Luz.

"You'll find out eventually," answered Lilith. "Anyways. So it's up to Luz to fix all this mess."

"That's right. In the original timeline, a young child from the human realm puts a stop to corruption planning to rot the Boiling Isles. We also have to help along the way," said Carolina.

"Interesting/There were tales of powerful youth overcoming evil/I believe it is possible but the task at hand won't be simple," said Zer0.

"Hey, Luz. You should get some rest.

"Yeah… It's been a long day," said Luz exhaustingly. "But let me talk to Amity for a minute."

Luz and Amity walk to the entrance of the Owl House to talk to Amity alone for a brief moment.

"Hey, Amity. Sorry about all this," said Luz.

"No, it's fine. None of us expected today to be so informative and chaotic," said Amity.

"Yeah. We already talk about that earlier so let's switch it. Oh, I just remember something. Have you finished the book I gave you?" asked Luz.

"Oh, it's interesting so far. I haven't finished it yet. But almost done with it," answered Amity.

"That's good to hear. Hey… I know you heard a lot of things but how do you feel right now?" asked Luz.

"I'm a bit tired… Look, it's a lot especially since you have a lot of responsibility. Even Belos is involved with this. Actually, I could've guessed he was involved considering he did mention the concept of the universe," said Amity. "But what's going to happen next?"

"I don't know… I really don't know," answered Luz. "I guess all we can do is wait and find out."

"I see… Look, I need to go head back home. My family is probably looking for me. But hey. Thank you for protecting Hexside. Everyone is gonna be grateful for what you and your friends did," said Amity. "Good night and take of yourself."

"You too… See you later," said Luz.

Amity makes her leave. As walks away, Amity turns to see Luz again. She smiles and waves goodbye to her, Luz replies by waving back. Luz opens the door and enters the house.

Luz is having a difficult time sleeping. Thinking about the events that occurred earlier. However, her thought process was interrupted by a knocking.

"Hey kid," said Athena. "Are you awake?"

"Yeah. I'm awake," answered Luz.

Athena enters Luz's room.

"Oh…" said Luz nervously. Luz acknowledges Athena's beauty. "Hi…"

"Hey, sorry for interrupting but I wanted to talk to you for a moment if you don't mind," said Athena.

"Sure, what is it that you want to talk about?" asked Luz. "I'm sorry if I sounded odd. It's just there are so many attractive people. I blanked out for a moment there. My mind can't catch a break from all this. But anyways, were you gonna ask me something?" asked Luz.

"After hearing the story you're the hero of this world. It sounds… What's the word?" asked Athena.

"Sounds like what?" asked Luz.

"Bullshit," answered Athena.

"What?" said Luz sadly.

"Look, don't get me wrong. I want to believe it but it seems too much for a kid like you. It's a lot of responsibility," said Athena. "

"Honestly, yeah. I found it amazing but I remember what Eda said to me. "Everyone wants to believe they are "chosen." But if we all waited around for a prophecy to make us special, we'd die waiting. And that's why you need to choose yourself." After hearing that from her, that stuck with me. I know the prophecy is important but I want to do things my way since this is my story of becoming a witch." said Luz.

"I see… Honestly, I'm glad you see it that way. Prophecies tend to make things complicated for people. Either fear or overconfidence," said Athena.

"Luz… You seem like a nice kid. But I need to know I can trust you. I need you to promise me one thing," said Athena. "Never hesitate to make difficult decisions, especially killing Handsome Jack. He never values anyone in his life, only himself. One day, you'll learn that there are some people out there who aren't worth sparing."

Luz was not expecting that statement from Athena and felt it came out of nowhere.

"But why? I'm just a kid who barely learns any spells. That's too much for me," said Luz.

"I know. But this is not like those fantasy stories. This is real stuff. Even though you don't have a lot of strength but eventually you'll get stronger and gain more experience. It's a lot of pressure but you're not the only one that has that feeling," said Athena. "Trust me. Handsome Jack is a man you can't simply spare because he will cause more suffering. Do not make my mistake. I don't want you to feel that pain that I did. You have to promise me that, Luz."

"I… I promise," said Luz confidently.

"Good… Look, I know I sound harsh back there but you have to understand that this world you are in. It will bring challenges that I can't even imagine. You have to be ready for anything," said Athena.

"I will and I'll do my best," said Luz.

"That's good to hear. Oh, by the way before I go. You can come in now," said Athena.

"Surprise attack!" Tiny Tina comes running in, crashing into Luz. Kirby walks into the room.

"Offf!" Luz groans in pain.

"Hey, what's up sucka? I heard you're some badass chosen one. Sweet! Huh? Hey, why are you down?" asked Tiny Tina.

"Oh… I was having trouble sleeping," answered Luz. "It's been a long day."

"Aw. Yeah, I heard you were having a bad day. Hey, I have an idea. Let's have a badass sleepover. Sleepovers are a great way to have fun and get away from those bad thoughts." said Tiny Tina. All we need is games, cookies, and a pile of explosions to make the sleepover more exciting."

Kat and Dusty came by to see if Luz is doing fine at the moment.

"Hey, guys. Is everything okay here?" asked Athena.

"We're fine. Tina is just talking to Luz about a sleepover.

"Oh, that sounds nice. Honestly, I need something to relax my mind from all the robot fighting," said Kat exhaustingly.

"Yes Yes. Yes. More part members and we have kitty and Kirby.

Dusty meows. Dusty walks towards her and sat right in front of her. Tiny Tina gently pets Dusty, she finds Dusty adorable.

"Awww…. It's so cute!" Tiny Tina exclaimed happily.

"Thank you. I think he likes you, Tina," said Kat joyfully.

"Oh, my god. We have a full party to do the sleepover. So, Luz… What do you think? Are you in?" asked Tiny Tina.

Luz was surprised by Tiny Tina's enthusiasm for planning a sleepover. Even Kirby and Kat are willing to participate in the sleepover. Luz gently smiles to hear that from her and accepts the sleepover.

"You know what? I'll like that. Maybe it can help me feel better," said Luz.

"Yes! Don't worry my girl, I'll turn that frown upside with no problem," said Tiny Tina. Athena slightly smirks to see Tiny Tina cheering up Luz.

"Okay, you guys get some rest and have fun with your sleepover," said Athena as she leaves the room.

"Good night," said Luz.

"Good night, Athena. You badass pretty woman," said Tiny Tina.

"Ugh…" Athena groans.

"Hey, you need to work on taking compliments you beautiful woman!" said Tiny Tina. "And… She's gone. Don't worry, she's nice once you get to know her."

"Oh, at least that's a good thing to know," said Luz.

"Oh yeah. She thinks she's all cool and brutal. But she has a cool girlfriend and she gets a little soft when she's thinking about her. Trust me, she'll open up more later on," said Tiny Tina. "Now come on! Let's have a sleepover!"

"Poyo!" said Kirby happily.

Luz, Tiny Tina, Kat, Dusty, and Kirby enjoy the rest of the night. Playing games and talking about stories. Snacks and sweets to satisfy themselves. A fun night to get away from the stress. As time passes, Kat, Dusty, and Kirby have fallen asleep. Luz is resting but she wanted to check if Tiny Tina is still awake.

"Hey… Tina… Are you still up?" asked Luz.

"Yo?" asked Tiny Tina.

"Thank you for suggesting a sleepover. I really needed that," said Luz.

"Sure thing. I need to find a way to break the bad mood so I believe it was best to have a sleepover," said Tiny Tina.

"That's so kind of you," said Luz. "And it was a good sleepover. Man, you were going crazy."

"That's my specialty. I'm a master of chaotic, tea parties and sleepovers!" said Tiny Tina confidently.

"Well, that sleepover proves it," said Luz as she yawns. "Okay, I think I'm done for the night. I just wanted to say thanks for all this. Good night Tina."

"Good night, the chosen one," said Tiny Tina as she slightly chuckles.

"Oh my god, stop," said Luz as she chuckles at Tiny Tina's joke.

Tiny Tina and Luz called it a night and went to sleep. Despite the events that occurred today, the day ended in a peaceful night.

Two days have passed and things have calm for the moment. In an afternoon in the neighborhood of Bonesborough, Spider-Man explores the city to see if everything is going well.

"It's been nearly a week since I went to Bonesborough Library, I was surprised to hear they fixed the library in one day. Like nothing ever happened. Amity said to meet her at the library at midnight. What time is it?... Ok, it's 5 pm. Better spend my time on patrol." said Spider-Man.

Spider-Man heads to bonesborough to explore, fight crime, and talk with some of the townspeople. Meanwhile, back at the Owl house. Eda is going through all the school reports, bringing back some good memories.

"So, Eda, how are you feeling?" asked Caboose.

"Yeah, I'm fine, why?" answered Eda.

"I wanted to ask you sooner but I was afraid of how you respond to that because you had a bad day a few days ago," said Caboose.

"Oh… Hey, Caboose. It's fine, I know I got roughed up but I'm fine.

"Well, I wanted to make sure everything is alright. Besides the Handsome Jack thing. Sarge told me you didn't like Hexside. Were you pretending to dislike it?

Eda was surprised by Caboose's question. Eda couldn't lie about it, so she decided to confess her thoughts about Hexside.

"Welp… You got me. Look, Hexside was rough for me… But at the same time, I had so many good memories there. I met a few good people there… Even them," said Eda calmly.

"Who them?" asked Caboose.

"Yeah, who's them?" asked Luz.

"Oh, just a good friend of mine. Well, we don't talk anymore. Something happened between us but that's a story for another time. But the point is that Hexside is a place for students to learn about all kinds of magic. There will be strict rules in there but I doubt that will stop you, right kiddo?" asked Eda.

"Yep. I just hope things go well," answered Luz.

"Oh yeah, by the way, when did you start classes?" asked Caboose.

"Just in a few weeks. So far the campus is taking a break after Handsome Jack but also prepping for new students," answered Luz.

"Well, that's good to hear," said Caboose. "I hope this goes well for you because I heard you're still on one spell. Hopefully, you can get at least one more spell."

"Yeah… Right, Eda?" asked Eda.

"Naw. Too lazy," answered Eda. "Maybe, tomorrow."

"Ugh… Well, at least I tried. One day." said Luz.

"Oh. But hey, that's a good sign. Eda will eventually and inevitably teach a new spell," said Caboose.

Time Passes...

Back to Spider-Man, the web-slinger continues exploring the city. Fighting crime and getting along with the civilians of the city. until midnight has come. He was already outside of the library on the rooftop, waiting for Amity to show up.

"Ok, it's midnight. Amity should be here any minute," said Spider-Man.

Spider-Man waits for Amity's arrival. He brought a midnight snack with him, a full box of pizza. He consumed the delicious pepperoni pie.

"Oh thank goodness, there's pizza here," said Spider-Man relievedly.

Spider-Man continues to enjoy his meal. Amity showed up at the entrance of the library.

"Spider-Man? Are you here?" asked Amity as she calls out Spider-Man's name.

"Up here," answered Spider-Man.

Spider-Man lands in front of Amity.
"Hey Amity," said Spider-Man.

"Hi Spider-Man, I'm glad you could make it. I was kinda worried you wouldn't show up," said Amity. Something caught her nose's attention and it was the scent of delicious pizza."Did you have pizza just now?"

"Yes, I was a bit hungry. But that's beside the point. Of course, I would show up, after hearing those notes from your diary. I was getting worried about you. Make me wonder what you are going through." answered Spider-Man.

"Yes, i-it did," said Amity.

Spider-Man notices Amity seems hesitant about this. I know the two barely know each other but it seems something else is bothering her. Spider-Man questions Amity, wondering what's on her mind. Spider-Man knows Amity has complications between her family and Willow.

"Amity, is everything okay?" asked Spider-Man.

"No, it's just…. I'm just scared to talk about it," answered Amity.

"Hey, take deep breaths. Look, I know it's gonna be rough to talk about it. But, don't worry you're not alone. Sooner or later, you're gonna have to tell this to someone you can trust. Like me." said Spider-Man.

"T-Thank you. Let's head inside," said Amity.

Spider-Man and Amity enter the library. Spider-Man is thinking about why Amity wanted to come here to talk.

"Hey Amity," said Spider-Man.

"Yes?" said Amity.

"If you don't mind me asking, why do you want to come here to talk?" asked Spider-Man.

"Well, you remember I have a secret room in the library," answered Amity. "This place calms my mind because no one is around,"

"Right, I see now. That's where you write about your diary, Luz, school, and your family. Not only that but everyone has their own quiet place," said Spider-Man.

"Y-Yeah. Sorry, it's just embarrassing that you know about my diary," said Amity nervously.

"Hey, we all have secrets and personal diaries. It's pretty much a common thing for most people," said Spider-Man.

"You know, you're right. I think it's time I tell you what's going on. Come on, let's head to the room," said Amity.

Spider-Man and Amity went to the romance section, Amity pulls the book called "The Lone Witch and Secret Room." Spider-Man noticed the title of the book, lone witch most likely refers to Amity, and the secret room refers to her secret hideout hidden in the library.

"Does anyone else know about the secret hideout?" asked Spider-Man.

"Well, my siblings, Luz, and you. The others who were there as well," answered Amity. "Also, I didn't catch their names. Except for Carolina and Washington, especially Carolina's fight against her mother."

"The one wearing the skull mask name, his name is Ryuji and the other wearing the panther, her name is Ann," said Spider-Man.

"States are like territories of a country back in my world, like big towns. There are 50 states in the U.S. Where I live is called New York City, a wonderful big city." said Spider-Man. "There's also Washington, South, and North Carolina," said Spider-Man.

"Interesting, you know I was interested to learn about some information about the human realm. I learned something new that was quite interesting," said Amity.

"Alright, now we're done with that fact. Ok, Amity, ever since what happened last time we were here, it didn't turn out ok in the end, but we made it out safely. However, after hearing some of the diary logs. It's concerning because it sounded like you wanted to run away from home." said Spider-Man.

"I… Yes," said Amity truthfully.

"Amity, tell me what's wrong, and don't worry. I won't tell everyone, but I will tell this to Carolina, Washington, Ryuji, and Ann because after hearing what the diary said, both of them want to know a little about your parents. She doesn't trust them, is that okay with you Amity?" asked Spider-Man.

"Yes, but you can only share that with them? Okay?" asked Amity.

"Yes. Remember, take your time with this. I know this is gonna be difficult to talk about but I need to know what's going on," answered Spider-Man.

"Alright," said Amity as she takes a deep breath, she is still scared to talk about her family but she needs to do what was necessary to let out her thoughts.

"Do you remember what Willow said to me back at the convention?" asked Amity.

"Yes. Back at the convention, Willow mentioned you used to be friends when you guys were little. But she said you left her with new friends, and you guys bullied her ever since." answered Spider-Man. "But what happened? That's the part that was stuck in my head," said Spider-Man.

"I-I…. I never wanted this but I let it happen," answered Amity.

"What do you mean by that?" asked Spider-Man.

"Willow was my only best friend, I never wanted to be friends with Boscha or the others in the first place," answered Amity.

"What? Willow was your only friend? You didn't have a group of friends?" asked Spider-Man.

"Willow and I were friends when we were little. At the time, I got used to my magical abilities, but Willow was struggling to use her magic. I didn't mind at all, she was still my friend and we looked after each other. Until one day." answered Amity.

Amity feels a horrible pain in her heart due to remembering that day. The harsh words she said to Willow. Ruining her own friendship. Her expression turns to slight sorrow.

"My parents were having a party, and I invited Willow. However, my parents noticed her, and they didn't want me to see her anymore," said Amity sadly.

"Wait, but why? Honestly, I've seen Willow capable to do Plant magic just fine. In fact, she seems very strong," said Spider-Man.

"Really?" said Amity quite surprised to hear that.

"Yeah, you saw here how she cast plant magic. She's a natural with Plant magic," said Spider-Man. "But, I still don't get why they don't see her like that."

"Well, she was having a difficult time casting magic back then. Around when we were kids, my parents thought Willow isn't worthy enough to be my friend. My family is one of the strongest families throughout this generation of witches. "Blights will only associate with the strongest witchlings." That's what my parents said to me. They wanted me to be friends with other families instead of Willow," said Amity.

"That's horrible but no one couldn't stop them?" asked Spider-Man. "Surely, you didn't want that, right?"

"Yes, I refused… but if I didn't listen to them, they'll make sure Willow doesn't enroll in Hexside. Meaning if I don't stop seeing her, they will," answered Amity.

Spider-Man couldn't believe what Amity said. A while ago, Spider-Man met Alador and Odalia twice. They seem alright but Spider-Man feels like he got played by those two. Spider-Man did have his suspicions about those two but he wasn't sure at the time and now he knows.

"They can do that? Isn't that illegal?" asked Spider-Man.

"I'm not sure. But even if it is, no one can go against my family. Our family is the strongest witchlings in the Boiling Isles. Most people respect the family's honor and their history." answered Amity.

"Amity, I don't what to say… I'm so sorry," said Spider-Man.

Amity shedding tears, all these years. She acknowledges the pain she inflicted on Willow.

"Amity, it's okay-" Spider-Man was about to say something but Amity interrupts the comfort.

"NO!" Amity screams sorrowfully. "This is my fault, I couldn't stand for myself or Willow. She and Martin Li were right about me. I'm just a spoiled brat who pretends to be perfect."

"No, none of that is true. Martin Li has nothing to do with this. He doesn't know who you are. Amity, when we first met, it looked like you wanted to be the best but you need to know this. No one can be perfect, we made mistakes in the past and yet we continue to make mistakes. That's what makes us normal people." said Spider-Man.

"I know but I feel like no one understands me. It's like no one in my family takes me seriously anymore. I want to do my best to reach the top, so I can be like my family." said Amity.

"Whenever you mentioned your family, you just want to be like them. But it won't happen because it sounds like you don't want to do this," said Spider-Man. It doesn't have to be like this. Amity, you don't have to listen to them. They can't just tell you what's best for you for everything in your life. You need to decide what's best for you." said Spider-Man.

"How can I? It's just- I don't know what to do. I'm tired…" said Amity weakly.

"Hey. It's okay, Amity… Look at me…" said Spider-Man.

Amity looks at Spider-Man's lenses. Amity has tears left in her eyes. She wipes off her tears and lets outs a breath to compose herself.

"I need to know if you can continue. I know it's heart-wrenching. We have those moments that it's hard to express our emotions," said Spider-Man. "But it's good to talk about this to someone who you can trust."

"Okay…Sorry I lost myself there for a second," said Amity.

"Don't be sorry. It's fine to let it out," said Spider-Man.

"Hey… You know my dad used to be more playful and joyful but ever since he had us. It seems he changed. I wished stayed like that. Can I really go through this?" asked Amity.

"Yes, you can. Amity, one day you're gonna have to come face to face with your parents. I know it's gonna be tough but your parents are being harsh on you. If this keeps up, it's gonna get worse. I'm worried about the worst outcome," answered Spider-Man.

"How can I overcome this? I'll just embarrass myself, make things worse," said Amity.

Amity feels unconfident about the outcome facing her parents, knowing it will be a terrible conflict.

"No, you won't. Amity, you can do great things in your future. You don't have to be perfect. Be Greater." said Spider-Man.

"Be Greater?" said Amity unsurely.

"Yes, I know you work hard and try to do the right thing. You have to make the decisions of your life. Make friends you can trust and who will support you. Like Luz," said Spider-Man.

"Luz?" said Amity.

"Luz can be a bit oddball but she has a good heart. She has tried to be friends with you since the day she met you. She saved you from Otabin." said Spider-Man.

"Yeah, you're right. The book she gave me, it's quite enjoyable to read," said Amity.

"You see, you and Luz can be good friends. As for Willow, she'll forgive you and understand what happens between you and your family. You may think Willow hates you. But it's not like that, I think Willow is sad and confused by your choice to leave her and ruin your friendship with her. One day, you have to tell her the truth. I have a good feeling she'll forgive you." said Spider-Man.

Amity feels better talking with Spider-Man. Amity is curious why Spider-Man uses his powers for good.

"Spider-Man, I have a question," said Amity.

"What is it?" asked Spider-Man.

"Why do you use your powers to help others? Even though you're a vigilante and seen as a criminal but yet you still continue being a hero. Why is that?" asked Amity.

"There's a good reason. When I was around age, I made a terrible mistake. By not stopping a mugging. The mugger killed my uncle… It was my fault, I was completely stubborn that night and it cost my uncle's life. I… I wanted him to pay for what he did. But I realized it wouldn't be worth it in the end. Since then, whenever I see people in danger. I can't stand there and do nothing. It's irresponsible and painful. My uncle told me that "With Great power comes great responsibility." I've been doing this for 8 years, it was tough but even when things get worse. I won't give up until I make things right. I promise to do everything in my power to protect this city. Well, the city from my world. That's the Spider-Man oath I made," answered Spider-Man.

Amity listens to everything Spider-Man said. He's right when things get rough, stay confident and find a way to make things right. Amity knows that sooner or later, she has to tell the truth to Willow and face her parents.

"I-I'm so sorry for asking. I didn't know it was something personal," said Amity.

"No, it's fine. Don't be sorry about that. You didn't know that answer was complicated," said Spider-Man.

"Okay, that's a relief. But I think I get it. Using your powers for responsibility, to help others and be greater." said Amity.

"Yes. I know it's a lot to take. I'm glad you came up to me to talk because I know something might happen to you and might feel bitter and rageful. I don't want to you end like me." said Spider-Man.

Amity thinks about what Spider-Man meant by that statement and questions it.

"What are you talking about? I know I'm nothing like you but what do you mean by that?" asked Amity.

"As time goes on, change can hurt people. It might happen. In my experience, I'm worried that one day I'll snap and go too far. There were times that happened. But I remember to never go there no matter what because there is no coming back from it," answered Spider-Man.

"I-I see… Were you scared?" asked Amity.

"I was. Being a superhero isn't a simple task to do. A heavy responsibility to hold and keep the promise of the protect innocent. Worried that if I make mistake, everything I did was for nothing. But that doesn't mean I won't stop fighting for it." answered Spider-Man.

"That's… That's very noble of you. After hearing your story, about your uncle's passing. It makes sense," said Amity respectfully.

"Thank you for the kind words. So, is there anything you want to talk about?" asked Spider-Man.

"Yes, I have another question. Why did you fight against Lilith?" asked Amity.

"Well… It's complicated. Lilith wants to arrest Eda. Well, it's obvious that she's a criminal but I feel like Eda is not a bad person. I think Lilith doesn't understand that Eda hasn't had anyone to help her when she got cursed. King, Hooty, Owlbert, and Luz. They're there for her. Not only that, Eda has the only portal for Luz's world. So, I have to step in and watch over them. Well, not me but everyone back at the Owl House." answered Spider-Man.

"You really do care for them, don't you?" said Amity.

"Of course. Luz is 14, she has a long way to go. We want to do everything we can to help in her journey." said Spider-Man.

"I know that. It's just a lot to take. I hope she can handle all that responsibility. But… Spider-Man… thank you. For listening and understanding what I am going through. Honestly, I was scared trying to talk to someone about this," said Amity.

"You're welcome, I'm glad I could help. It can be scary to talk about personal issues. I wish I could talk some sense to your parents but I might make things worse." said Spider-Man.

"Yeah, most likely. But I realized I have to stand up against my parents sooner or later. It's scary to think about it. I hope I'm strong enough." said Amity.

"You are strong Amity. You still have a long way to go but I know you can do it. We all have to face our fears eventually," said Spider-Man.

Amity feels better but not fully better. But it will take time for her to overcome her problems. Spider-Man checks the time to see it's 1:00 am.

"It's getting late, your family might be wondering where you are right now," said Spider-Man.

"Yeah, probably," said Amity. "But they know I'll be fine."

"What your parents did is messed up but the Blight manor is your home. However, if things get worse, let us know. We'll be there by your side." said Spider-Man. "Judging what they have done so far, we gotta prepare ourselves in case they try to do something to us."

"I will. Thank you, Spider-Man," said Amity.

"I can take you home. Trust me, it's a lot faster. Plus I don't want you walking home by yourself at night." said Spider-Man.

"But before we go… Can you take me to the rooftop of the library?" asked Amity. "I've never been up there or any rooftop."

"Oh. Sure. Come on," answered Spider-Man.

Both of them headed outside. Spider-Man told Amity to get on his back, and she did and goes on his back. Spider-Man wall crawl to the wall and up to the rooftop of the library. Amity was amazed by this and she wonders how long Spider-Man had to practice wall crawling. They reach the top and Amity got off from Spider-Man's back. She looks at the view, she's surprised she can see a good amount of the neighborhood.

"Hey, you know… It's a great view to clear your mind," said Spider-Man.

"I… This is my first time being this high up. You can so much from up here," said Amity.

"By the way, is there a reason why you wanted to be up here?" asked Spider-Man.

"I wanted to see what's like to be on top of a rooftop considering you're always exploring the city and fighting crime. While soaring through the skies, it looks like a lot of fun. Just flying through the air and seeing the beautiful skies," answered Amity.

Amity and Spider-Man sat down and view the neighborhood. Amity was glad to be up here, in the peaceful and quiet environment of Bonesborough. Amity clears her mind for a few minutes and admires the view. Spider-Man notices Amity is calm at the moment and enjoying the peaceful moment. Amity continues to relax until she was curious about something. It was Spider-Man's family. It was something that interests her and wanted to know the web-slinger's background.

"Spider-Man, do you have any family?" asked Amity. "I recall you mention you had an uncle but do you have any other relatives?"

"No… It's just me," answered Spider-Man. "I never knew my parents when I was little. I had my uncle and aunty but they're gone too… It's been a while since it happened. Before I lost my Aunt, She told me that she was proud of everything I have done for all the people I've helped, and my uncle would be too if he was here as well."

Amity was struck by shock to hear that from Spider-Man, knowing he lost so much of his family but continues living out his life.

"I-I'm sorry… Is this what it's like being a hero?" asked Amity. "Losing their loved ones… Is that how it always ends?"

"In all honesty, no. Life always brings struggles to people and that includes heroes like us. Doesn't matter if you're human or a witch. When you act selfless or selfish. The outcomes will still take something from you. It's like two sides of the same coin," said Spider-Man. "Despite all that, I'll still have those who care for me and look out for me."

"That's… That's horrible. It's like no matter what you do, whether it was good or bad, there are always consequences… It's so complicated." said Amity.

"It can't be. That's why we have to be careful with our decisions. But even though they're gone, I still have friends. Mary Jane, Miles, Rio, Yuri, Gloria, and Harry." said Spider-Man.

"That's… I don't have any words. Even though my family gives me a tough time but I still for them, I just wish they were better and more considerate." said Amity.

"I know. I'm hoping for the same thing. But they will eventually. Sometimes it takes people to realize their behavior towards others and improve themselves," said Spider-Man.

"I hope so too," said Amity.

Amity will remember what Spider-Man said and she hopes for the best for her family's improvements. Amity yawns and feels tired.

"I think I'm done for the night. I'm ready to head back," said Amity.

"Okay. Ready to go for the faster way?" asked Spider-Man. "I wanna make sure you get home safely."

"Um…" Amity was unsure but she realizes that Spider-Man is right because it is dangerous to wander around outside at night time. There are usually dangerous things wandering at night. "You're right. But are you sure it's safe?" asked Amity.

"Kinda, as long you don't let go," answered Spider-Man. "Wait, are you afraid of heights?"

"No. I'll be fine. Honestly, I wasn't afraid of heights considering that witches getting a staff. So that won't be a problem for me," answered Amity.

"That's right, you'll get a staff eventually. When did you think you're gonna get a staff?" asked Spider-Man.

"I'm not sure. It might take a while," answered Amity.

"Interesting, I'm kinda curious when Eda got her staff. Okay, if you say so. Come on, get ready" said Spider-Man. Alright, this might be a bit scary. Hang on my back and hold on tight. I'll try not to go too fast."

"Ok, I hope I won't regret this," said Amity slightly nervously as she grabs on Spider-Man's back. Preparing for the web swinging ride.

"Here we go!" said Spider-Man as he jumps super high, and the web swung to the destination of the Blight Manor.

"Woah! Ok! Ok! Please don't throw up! Please don't throw up!" Amity exclaimed.
"Are you alright?" asked Spider-Man.

"Yeah! Just making sure I don't throw up," answered Amity. "How are you not throwing up when you traverse the city like this?"

"A lot of practice. A lot," answered Spider-Man.

Amity felt excited to swing with Spider-Man and Amity could see a portion of Bonesborough. To see the city, it's a beautiful view of the night. Spider-Man tells Amity that they are almost to the Blight Manor.

"Amity, we're almost there," said Spider-Man.

"Huh?" said Amity. She was surprised to arrive at her house in just a minute.

"And here we are," said Spider-Man.

"Wow. That was quick. It took me 10 minutes to get to the library. But we got here in 1 minute. I'll say you have impressive speed." said Amity.

"Heh. Thanks, Amity. Alright, time for you to get some good rest." said Spider-Man.

"Thank you again Spider-Man. Good night and have a good evening," said Amity.

"Good night. Take care of yourself. Remember Amity, Be greater. I know you can." said Spider-Man.

"I will. Thank you for that," said Amity.

Amity heads inside the house. Spider-Man swings back to the Owl house, while he is web-swinging. He's thinking about what Amity said, she was forced to ruin her friendship with Willow, so her education of learning magic.

"I can't believe they went through that. Willow and Amity were just little kids. But Amity's parents didn't mind what happened. All they care about is their reputation with the other wealthy witches. No kid should go through that kind of pain. It all makes sense now. Amity hasn't had a real friend since then or anyone she can trust. Her diary showed evidence that she wished for a place where she could go somewhere that she doesn't have to deal with her family. I need to talk to Washington and Carolina about this," said Spider-Man.

Spider-Man returns to the Owl house. It seems everyone is resting, however, Carolina and Washington were having a conversation.

"Oh, there you are. I was wondering where you were. Where have you been this whole time?" asked Carolina.

"I was at the library with Amity. We talked about what's happening with her family," answered Spider-Man.

"Amity? Wait, you mean about the suspicions about her parents?" asked Washington.

"That's right. Let me explain," answered Spider-Man.

Spider-Man explains what happened during his talk with Amity. They couldn't believe it, Alador and Odalia are being way too strict and harsh with their daughter Amity.

"What the hell? That's just straight-up bullshit! How can do that to their own daughter?" asked Ryuji upsettingly.

"Ryuji! I know you are a little upset about what's happening with Amity. But if we try anything to stop them. We'll make things worse for us and for Amity. Not only that we already have our hands full with Handsome Jack," said Carolina.

"Damn. What are we supposed to do then?" asked Ryuji. "Can't we just scare them not to do that anymore?"

"Ugh… Really, Ryuji?" asked Ann.

"Ugh… I know. That'll make things worse for all of us," answered Ryuji.

"Agree. For now, we need to keep a low profile when watching those two. They may have a connection with Emperor Coven and the Emperor himself. Meaning there's a good chance we might encounter them in battle later in the future." said Carolina.

"Ok. Carolina, what happens if things go too far?" asked Ann.

"Then we'll prepare for the worst," answered Carolina. "I'm not sure what they can do or how many strings they can pull."

"Maybe we can reason with them instead of having a brawl," said Ann.

"Ann. That is an option but there's a good chance they won't listen to a bunch of humans and vigilantes," said Washington.

"As much as I hate to admit but you're probably considering the fact were literally neighbors of Eda," said Ann.

"Maybe we can try to talk them down about the situation," said Spider-Man.

"Possibly but I get the feeling that reasoning with them won't work. Our chances with the negotiations with them are very slim," said Carolina.

"Yeah I know that but I want to at least talk to them about this," said Spider-Man.

"Fine, we'll try that option. But I don't this at all," said Carolina.

"I don't like it either. It might be a terrible idea to stop them but we'll never know if it works," said Spider-Man.

Spider-Man could be right, that option to reason with them could be right but if it doesn't work, they have no choice. Delsin was by the rooftop of the Owl House and heard the conversation. Delsin thought it would be best to come out and tells them that he heard everything, so he did.

"Hey, guys. Sorry if I startled you there for a moment," said Delsin.

"What the? Hey, Delsin. Why are you awake?" asked Ryuji nervously.

"Well, I woke up earlier to grab a snack and saw you guys were talking so I wanted to hear what was going on. I didn't know it was gonna be that complicated… Sorry about that," answered Delsin.

"Oh… Man, I already blew it," said Spider-Man weakly.

"It's fine you two. But Delsin, how much did you hear?" asked Ann.

"Everything… It got me thinking. Ever since I saw her back at the Convention. I thought she was crazy to herself out in the open to get a crush. But it's starting to make sense now. She hated herself for what she did," answered Delsin.

"Yeah, honestly, I think anyone would hate themselves if they did that to their friends," said Ryuji. "Take it from me, when it happened to me. It was painful."

"Delsin, can you keep Amity's secret? Amity doesn't want anyone to find out this about it because she wants to tell Willow about this one day," said Carolina.

"Sure, I promise," said Delsin. "I heard that part that Amity doesn't want anyone or Luz to hear about just yet."

Delsin has to keep a secret for Amity. Besides the secret, he wants to do something about the situation but he can't because Odalia and Alador might do something rash. Delsin was thinking and thought of an idea.

"Guys, I have an idea. I'll be right back," said Delsin as he went to Hooty, asking for something he needed. "Hey, Hooty."

Hooty groans drowsily and opens his eyes to see Delsin.

"Hm? Oh hey, Delsin. What is it?" asked Hooty.

"Sorry to bother you Hooty but does Eda have a bunch of color spray cans?" asked Delsin.

"Oh yeah. She has plenty to commit petty graffiti crimes. Hang on. Let me go get it for you," answered Hooty as he extends his body tube and headed through Eda's window very quietly. Hooty opens her closet, he finds a box full of spray cans. Hooty comes back outside to hand the box full of spray cans.

"Here you go," said Hooty.

"Thanks, Hooty," said Delsin gratefully as he grabs the box of spray cans.

"Mind telling me why you need those spray cans?" asked Hooty.

"Oh. It's a surprise for a certain family. You'll find out soon by tomorrow." answered Delsin.

"Hoot… The suspense. I like it. Alright, gotta sleep. Good night." said Hooty.

"Thanks, Hooty, and good night," said Delsin.

Hooty rests for the night. Everyone is curious to know why Delsin needs a bunch of color spray cans.

"Delsin, what are gonna do with those spray cans?" asked Sarge.

"Yeah. What are plan-" Carolina realizes Delsin's intentions. Delsin has mentioned he's a decent artist. So, she went along with it. "Ohohoho. I see. Fine, just don't get caught." said Carolina.

"What? I don't get it," said Spider-Man unsurely.

"Oh… I get it. Man, you're cold. But hey, I believe it's a start," said Ryuji.

"Let's just say Delsin has a great talent for graffiti art. You'll see," said Carolina.

"Wait, really? How come you didn't tell us about this, Delsin?" asked Spider-Man.

"I wanted to but we've been pretty busy with everything so far. But in my spare time. I've been doing graffiti art all over the city. Even Gus told me that people have been liking the art I've been making. We'll talk more about this later. I gotta go guys. Be sure to have the news up by morning. "AHHH!" Odalia screams.

Amity suddenly woke to her mother's scream. She realized her mother was furious about something. So got out of her bed and investigate what was going on.

"WHO DID THIS?!" asked Odalia furiously.

Amity went downstairs and headed outside to see what was going on. Amity sees a mural painted in their house.

"What the?" said Amity as she was surprised to see a funny mural of her parents. The mural depicted odalia with a ridiculous mustache, devil horns, and her hair covered in rotten tomatoes. As for Alador, he was shaped a like a grape considering he looks like a worn-out grape.

"My word. This is surprising. I must say this is well-detailed," said Alador calmly. It seems Alador doesn't care about the mocking murals of him.

"That's what you have to say! Whoever did this, I'm gonna make an example out of them for making a mockery of us. They will pay!" Odalia yells furiously.

"Dear please," said Alador calmly. "We can easily clean this. It's just a painting. Huh?"

They noticed another mural, it was Amity. With the two words underneath the mural. Saying "Be Greater." Amity realized this is from Spider-Man and his friends. Amity gently smiles after seeing a touching mural honoring her.

"I'll do my best," said Amity quietly.

Delsin is on a rooftop from a distance away from the Blight Manor and sees Amity looking at the mural.

"I think that be one of my best pieces," said Delsin.
