Story:

Beth POV:

It was a normal morning. Sun was up and a devious thought came and told me that nothing was going to ruin this great day. That was until I found out that the Lasheès our bestest friends (our being me Eddie and Caroline) had signed up for the student switch program.

"WHAT!?" Caroline screamed, still the drama queen she was 3 years ago when we went to Buckham, West Virginia.

"Well we do get extra credit for doing the student switch program." Camilla, my best friend said nervously twisting a part of her hair.

"Yeah, true but you also get extra credit for the student administration program too, like we've done for the past 2 years!" I exclaimed, completely shocked that they signed up for the other program. "C'mon Cam breaking tradition?"

"Beth, it was a unanimous vote. We all wanted to try something new." Felicia cut in.

"Yeah but you didn't tell us either, really? Honestly we're friends through thick and thin and you didn't bother to tell us this little detail!" Eddie exploded while everyone walking around us looked at us strangely.

"Eddie chill we're getting unwanted attention." Lana said, her signature camera hanging from her neck.

"Wait, really?" Caroline asked, looking around. I gave her a slap on the head.

"Ow, what was that for!?" Caroline shouted.

"You deserved it." Lily said plainly.

"Really Lily? You had to do me dirty?" Caroline asked accusingly.

"All I just said was you deserved it, nothing else." Lily mumbled.

"Pish posh." Caroline stated.

"Shut up Caroline," everyone said simultaneously.

Caroline just pouted.

I simply rolled my eyes and opened the book in my hands, when a thought quickly came in my head and stuck there.

"Does this mean you guys aren't going to be here when it's my birthday?" I asked blankly.

Everyone looked at me.

"That slipped my mind," Camilla said, her face falling.

"Oh shoot, I completely forgot about that!" Felicia shouted.

"Wait does that also mean that you can't make the play?!" Caroline shrieked.

"Cal, of course we're going to be there. It's three days ending on Sunday and we're going there Sunday night." Lily and Lana explained at the same time.

"Which also means you're missing my birthday." I whispered.

"Sorry Beth, but we'll be there for the party." Camilla said trying to cheer me up.

"Monday birthdays are the worst right now," I complained.

"Well sucks to be you." Caroline said plainly.

Eddie then smacked Caroline on the head.

Josh POV:

"Wally get your butt out of bed!" I screamed.

"Ok Josh." Wally called back.

I looked around the kitchen and the chaos was astronomical. Peter was wailing cause he couldn't find the shirt he wanted to wear. Jake was complaining about ... something Jake complains about. I don't know. I wasn't paying attention. I was doodling something nervously not knowing how to tell my brothers that I signed all of us up for the student switch program.

Wally came downstairs and started making his breakfast: cereal.

Dad came down holding Peter's shirt.

Peter shouted, "You found it!"

"Yep now get changed Peter." Jake grumbled.

"Ok!" Peter said happily running up the stairs and closing his room door.

Wally sat down and started eating. By the time he was done Peter was downstairs and we were all ready for school.

We made our way to school over the swinging bridge and met up with the Bensons.

We got to school and we walked past some sign up sheets. One specifically caught my eye, the student switch program. Jake had looked over at what I was looking at and stopped cold.

"Why are our names on there?" Jake asked. "Josh is that your handwriting!?"
