Before we start this story is based on the anime i will also have some of Yugioh season 0 in the mix only a few of my preference. I don't own Yu-gi-oh only my Oc.

Chapter 1

It was a bright and sunny day a peaceful day, a young girl wearing a light blue sundress is playing by herself in the swings her long pale blue hair blown through the wind she bright blue eyes glanced at the black car making a stop, a woman wearing a gray and white suit got out, the young girl recognized the woman as the social worker that brought her here too.

Curiosity got the best of her so she got off the swing set walking up to get a closer look.

The social worker smiled softly and before going to the back door and opening it. "Come on, children. We're here."

She tried to make herself sound more cheerful than she actually was, which was difficult considering the children she was dropping off recently lost their parents. As the social worker continued to smile, two boys stepped out of the car.

The first boy has chocolate brown hair , blue eyes dressed in a cream colored long sleeve shirt, a blue sweater vest and dark pants with sneakers, the young boy looked at the building as a younger boy got out having long black hair, grayish-purple eyes wearing a green shirt and blue shorts.

The young blue-haired girl stared at the boys, she saw the older one saying something to the younger one but couldn't make out what he was saying.

'I think they might be brothers..' She thought. 'It must be nice having someone…..they look nervous maybe if i asked them to play, it would help them feel a little better.'

A while later she saw the two boys playing together at the sandbox. The young girl hesitated a moment but pushed down her nervousness. She walked up to the two boys.

"H..hi, I'm Kiara." The blue-haired girl said getting the boy's attention. "What's your name?"

The younger boy looked at her for a second. "Mokuba.." He said

"Seto." The older one said he looked at her.

"So...i have this." She said reaching in her small backpack taking out a chess set. "Do you know how to play? We can take turns playing."

Mokuba nodded shyly while his brother looked at her "Yeah." Seto said

Kiara smiled. "You're the first ones to want to play chess with me." She said "Most kids here don't like chess."

"I play a little...my big brother is better at it than me." Mokuba said

"I'm not the best at it either." Kiara truthfully said holding out the chest set. "Want to play Seto? Mokuba?"

The brothers nodded as they tried to figure out who goes first. Time flew by and they became fast friends, they spend most of the day together doing different activities.

A few months later…

"Hey! Koi! Josh! Ash! Give back Mokuba's toy!" Kiara shouted at the three boys that are known to be bullies. Mokuba started crying while Kiara stood in front of Mokuba glaring at the bullies.

"Oh so he's having a girl defend him now?" Josh snickered holding the toy train.

"Aw, look the baby's crying." Ash laughed.

"I said give it back!" Kiara snapped running after Josh the boy is taller than Kiara, she jumped up trying to grab the toy plane.

Kiara couldn't get close to reach it, she got pushed hard, she let out a soft cry the bullies laughed at her while Kiara was trying not to cry. Suddenly Seto appeared tackling Josh.

"Hey! You can't just push a girl like that! Didn't they teach you to be nice to girls?!" Seto angrily said he fought off the bullies as they ran off crying.

Seto turned around holding the toy plane, he held out his hand towards Kiara helping her up.

"Are you okay?" Seto asked full of concern at the young girl.

"I'm fine, are you okay?" She asked taking his hand rubbing her eyes, he nodded as he handed the toy back to his little brother, Kiara managed to soothe the younger boy, Mokuba smiled thanking them both.

A while later Kiara had told them of her little project in the small flower bed in the back of the building they live in. For the next few days the brothers helped the young blue-haired girl tend to the flowers she smiled humming a tune.

"Will it bloom soon?" Mokuba asked watching Kiara fill the watering can while Seto watched the other flower buds.

"I think so." Kiara said smiling. "I love flowers, watching them bloom makes me happy."

"Really?" Mokuba said

"Yeah, you know those flower beds that theme parks have in the entrances? Those are the first thing that people and kids see before going in." Kiara said "Doesn't that make you happy and excited when you first go to a park?"

Mokuba thought about it for a minute smiling and nodding.

"She's right." Seto said "It does get you excited to go in and have fun."

"That's my dream, to make people smile when they see flowers but not just any flowers I want them to smile when they see a whole bed of White Roses!" Kiara said smiling.

"White Rose?" Seto spoke up.

"White Rose, it's my favorite flower!" Kiara said her eyes glittered at the thought of being surrounded by roses. "Most girls love red roses but i love white roses!" Mokuba looked at the small flower bud as it slowly opened itself up.

"Seto! Kiara look!" Mokuba smiled as Kiara squealed happily at the newly bloomed flower, Seto smiled softly glancing the young girl.

"So pretty!" Kiara said in awe. "It's a pretty yellow flower!"

'Flowers at our theme park...it's a good idea.' Seto thought. He felt Kiara's hand over his, she took Mokuba's hand as well.

"Come on guys!" Kiara said "Don't we have another game to play next?"

The siblings smiled at the blue-haired girl not knowing that their time together will come to an end.

A few days passed Kiara was watching the chess game between Mokuba and Seto. Kiara looked up seeing the reduced number of children, she bit her lip knowing that soon her friends will be going too.

Seto had offers from other couples but he refused not wanting to be separated from his little brother. Something that Kiara really admires and proud to call him her friend.

"Kiara it's your turn to play against my big brother." Mokuba said snapping out of her train of thought Kiara nodded taking a seat in front of Seto as they rearranged the pieces back to the original places.

Meanwhile just outside the brick building stood a married couple, a woman with light blonde hair and blue eyes wearing a simple light pink summer dress she held her husband's hand a man with dark blonde and dark blue eyes, wearing a blue suit.

They had been trying to have a baby for a couple of years with no success. When they went to find professional and clinical help they received the devastating news that they couldn't have children of their own, so they decided to adopt a child, their dream of being parents is very close.

"A boy or a girl? " the man asked his wife.

"I'm fine with either." She said "I'm hoping that everything we did will work out."

"It will, we did everything by the book." He reassured his wife.

The couple went inside the building towards an office an older woman with a stern look read over the file of the couple.

"These children are very sweet and well behaved, despite their circumstances whether it was living conditions, parents deceased, abandonment, or abused. That doesn't stop them from having happy healthy lives." The woman who is in charge of running the orphanage said reading the paperwork the couple filled out.

"All the paperwork is in order, also the inspection of the future child's room is in order as well." She said "I must ask before we proceed any further...are you sure Mr. and Mrs. Sasaki that you are ready to raise a child?"

The couple held each other's hand. "Yes, we are." They said

"We are ready." she said "We have everything we ever wanted but not what we need most of all...and that's a child...a child to love and care for."

He held his wife's hand firmly. "We want this more than anything." He said

The older woman nodded smiling softly. "Alright then please follow me, right now most of the younger children are in the playroom the older ones are playing sports outside. " she said "You'll have a chance to meet them then when you decide we'll proceed to finish the paperwork."

The couple walked inside the room looking at fifteen children in the large playroom, tensed up seeing all the children playing while his wife looked around at all the happy children.

A ball bounced out landing in front of the couple picked it up handing it back to a little girl, the little girl smiled and went back to her friends. They saw all the children playing leaving the couple speechless at all the children they took a moment to sit down at a bench watching each child.

"Honey, how can we possibly choose," She said smiling softly. "They all are so precious.."

"I know." He said

The woman let out a soft sigh, knowing it's not an easy choice in choosing a child this wasn't a handbag or shoes it's a human being that they'll welcome to their small family. She knows that she'll have that connection with the child but which one?

"You win again Seto." Kiara said

"You're getting better at it Kiara." Seto smiled at her while she scratched the back of her head.

"Thanks...oh! I'll go check on my flowers! " Kiara said "I'll put a fresh one on the vase by my window, you guys can keep playing with my chess set."

The brothers nodded as Kiara smiled going to the back to her little flower bed. Minutes later Kiara hummed happily holding a few flowers.

"I never thought it would be this hard to choose...each of them are-" a man's voice said softly.

"Wonderful." The woman's voice finished what he said. "I know.."

Kiara stayed quiet, she could tell by the sound of their voices seemed sad and lost. The blue-haired girl knew that most couples tend to be like this at first.

'Maybe they need a little pep talk…' she thought. 'Or someone to help them, they seem nice.'

The couple didn't know what to do, decisions like this is never easy but they were so close to having a family.

"Um...excuse me." A soft voice said the couple looked at the direction of the voice towards the blue haired girl. She handed each of them a single flower hoping that would lift their spirits. " Don't give up just yet, i'm sure you'll find the right one." She encouraged them."In fact you've come to the right place."

The couple stared at the young girl. "I think we can find just what you're looking for, if you're looking for a boy, Jason over there is a fast runner, Jim can read french and Italian, The two boys playing Chess, Seto and Mokuba are brothers their inseparable, Seto is great playing chess and he's really nice! Mokuba too! they helped me a lot in my flower garden." She said thinking of what else to say. "Or do you want a girl?"

The woman glanced at her husband. "I think we're leaning towards a girl." She said rousing a conversation to the young girl, the husband nodded.

"In that case Sara can play the flute, Betty is the best doubledutcher I've ever seen. Lola loves anything with costumes and theater, Ashley loves to draw." She said

"You certainly know a lot about everyone here don't you?" The woman asked gazing at the young girl.

Kiara shrugged her shoulders. "I've been here the longest." She said "I've seen a lot of parents here and they were just like you, i don't think you should worry about choosing...i think if you meet them and talk to them...you just know."

Mokuba called out to Kiara to play chess, the young girl smiled and excused herself to play with her friends. The couple looked at each other smiling taking the young girls words to heart, they've seen a lot of children but none that gave them an impact as the young blue-haired girl.

"So have you made you're choice?" The older woman asked the couple as they walked out of the playroom.

"We have." He said

"We'd like to adopt Kiara." She said smiling her husband nodded his head in agreement.
