ANNABETH POV

We have sent a letter to othrys detailing our broken alliance, but there has been no reply bac's Jake. I knew it. That boy is as twisted as a serpent. me, the 7 and Nico, Reyna, Grover etc. are trying to convince the gods against attacking othrys but Jake has them wrapped around his little finger. It doesn't help that Jake and Percy are dating. poor Percy is too terrified to say anything and Jake is claiming abuse against Percy by Kronos. That angers everyone further. . Percy has been through so much and flinches at the smallest of moves. We have all been trying to cheer him up but nothing has worked so far./

I spot Percy sitting on a chair outside the throne room. Jake is talking to the gods. I call over the gang who frowns at solemn-looking Percy. The waves of trees give me the confidence I need to approach him. I beckon the others over—my shoe thug against the beautiful white stone. I come closer to Percy who is sitting next to a majestic pillar. Even if I do say so myself. Percy looks at me dejectedly. There was a feral look in his eyes. Tentatively, he smiles. In apprehension, he waves to the gang. Simply, he nods to a god as they exit the throne room. He lets out a small whimper as Jake comes towards him and I step between them " it's ok Annabeth" Percy says the words come out as painful gaps

Jake then shoots him and uses a glare making Percy flinch. "I'll go then," Jake said in a low, vicious tone. Percy lowered his head and Jake's face twisted into a nasty, demonic smile. He was enjoying this. Asshole. Jason went up to Jake and shoved him out of Percy's line of view. Jake raised his eyebrows and shot Jason a cold, arrogant look. Piper's eyes become hard and narrowed, Leo, burns with rage, and everyone else is speechless with anger. He strolled like a panther. Percy let out a heartfelt sigh as he lowered his shoulders. Calypso stroked his hair in comfort. Percy's emerald green eyes sparkled in happiness. Then I ask " hey, seaweed brain do you want to train?" He nods enthusiastically and I swing my arm around him.

After an hour of training, we suddenly hear a screeching alarm. Ouranus had attacked us, and we all ran to meet ouranus's army as they plough through manhattan. The moon washed over us with a ghostly, silver light. There was a screaming frenzy of rain. We ran down the streets of Manhattan with only a fleeting glimpse of the moon to guide us. The savage,bone-crushing cold sank its sharp teeth into my bones and bit further down. The yellow fog is hanging over us and twisting the buildings into monstrous shapes. Olympus was torn open with jagged spears of lightning. the thunder howled its pain. Immediately, the coppery smell of blood wafts up my nostrils. The chilly air rubs up my legs threatening to paralyse me. Then a monster flew out of nowhere- the silence shattered by its shriek - I took it out. Dust landed on my tongue making me grimace. I see Percy slashing to my left - tearing a passage through the monsters and the 'dark' army. Reyna to my right smiles at me and blows me a kiss. My heart swells. Then I looked to my left and noticed Percy was gone - Jake who had been a few metres behind was also gone. Ouranus's army retreats and I growl in frustration. The gods were not going to like this. Chaos, help us.

LETO POV

We received a letter from Olympus and that day Kronos flew into a rage. We had taken him to his room, and with no Percy to calm him down, it was for ages AND we had to cast protection so he couldn't get in and hurt someone or himself. I can't believe my little boy would do this. My little Percy.

We then received another letter from Olympus that they had been attacked and that Percy and jake had gone missing, this further increased Kronos's anger. But I managed to persuade him to send out a search party. Kronos still loves him, that's for sure. I am going to find Percy and make sure he's ok and convince them to get back together.
