"The Brave 12 and the Farting Dragon"

The Brave 12 were fishing in a forest when they noticed some dead fish in the river as they prepared to cast their lines. A blue deer approached, and it was scared.

"What's wrong, little one?" Laney asked.

"There's a terrible smell coming, and it is horrible!" warned the Blue Deer. "Run for your lives!"

The Blue Deer bolted, as a group of farm animals ran past them.

"What's gotten into them?" J.D. wondered.

"That blue deer said a horrible smell is coming," Laney explained.

"I think I see it," J.D. replied.

A strange brown stream came at them, and when they smelled it, it made them gag and vomit.

J.D. is vomiting and then he coughed. "OH, THAT IS RANK!"

"WHAT IS THAT HORRIBLE SMELL!?" Vince screamed.

"I DON'T KNOW, BUT IT'S DISGUSTING!" Fu yelled.

"IT'S MAKING ME SICK!" Lincoln moaned.

"We've to find out where it's coming from," Lily added.

"Luckily, I brought these," J.D. said.

He dug into his pocket and took 12 nose plugs out.

"Nose plugs," Jessie remarked.

They each take one and place it on their noses.

"Let's find that smell," J.D. said nasally.

After leaving the forest, they come across a farm village where the smell has completely destroyed the crops.

"This is really bad," Varie said nasally.

"No kidding," Sakura responds nasally.

A hand appeared and reached for J.D.'s arm, grabbing it. It was a man.

"Turn back while you still…" said the Man.

He passed out.

"Sir, are you all right?" Laney asked nasally.

"I'm alright," the Man answered, "but this stench has ruined our crops and more."

"Tell me," Jack said, nasally. "Where is this awful stench coming from?"

"They say... They say it comes from..." the Man began.

Before he could respond, the smell made him gag and retch.

"So much for that," Naruto grumbled.

They entered the village and discovered that the stench had rendered it uninhabitable.

"This is horrible," Vince exclaimed nasally. "We have to help these people."

"Yeah," Lincoln agreed. "We have to do something."

Suddenly, a big fart noise and earthquake were heard, and everyone fled in fear as a massive tsunami of the foul stench rose over the mountains.

"Uh-Oh!" cried J.D.

"To the Shelter! To the Shelter!" yelled the Man.

"How far is it to the shelter!?" J.D. shouted.

"Right around the next block," the second man answered. "Hurry!"

They saw the stench tsunami getting closer.

"It's right over here!" shouted the third Man.

"Oh good gracious, help us all!" screamed the fourth Man. "The Shelter is FULL!"

Within the shelter was a little cat.

"I have shelter!" J.D. yelled.

He created a force field that blocked out the smell over the village. The stench tsunami struck, and the force field held.

"That was a close one," Jack commented. "Good thinking, J.D."

"That is genius," Fu exclaimed.

They suddenly hear whistling coming from a nearby scissor smith shop.

They walk in and see the Scissor Smith making some sausages.

They take their nose plugs off.

"Excuse me," J.D. began. "Are you the scissor smith?"

"Eh! Somebody say something."

They could see a scar where his nose had been.

"What happened to your nose?" Varie asked.

"Oh, I lost it, but I don't remember," the Scissor Smith admitted.

"Your town is being overrun by a foul stench that is bringing everyone misery," Vince explained.

"Yeah, what's causing all this stench?" Varie asked. "It's not a pretty ride on a wagon."

A crow decided to speak up. "Wagon," it squawks, "rhymes with Dragon!"

"Dragon?" J.D. wondered.

"Nothing," answered the Scissor Smith, nervously chuckling.

"Dragon!" shrieked the Crow. "Dragon! The smell comes from a dragon!"

"So a dragon is causing this horrible smell," Varie clarified.

"So, where does this dragon live?" Jack asked.

The Crow squawks. "Spire! Lives on top of the Spire!"

"Spire?" Laney asked.

"You mangy pigeon!" snarled the Scissor Smith. "I'll have you for dinner!"

"Calm down, sir," Laney counseled. "Where is this spire?" she asked the bird.

"The Spire lies to the East!" exclaimed the Crow.

"It lies to the east," Laney clarified.

"Then that's where we're going," J.D. added. "Let's go!"

When they left the village, they came across a tall rock spire.

"That must be it," J.D. concluded. "And the smell is strongest on top."

"The Village is only a few hundred yards away," Varie answered.

"Let's go," J.D. urged.

They spread their wings and fly to the top. Jack climbed the spire and grabbed what appeared to be a feather in the mountain, and then the rock gave way to reveal a giant Luna Moth.

"That is a huge Luna Moth," Laney noted. "I've got this, Jack."

Laney tamed it and helped Jack get through the gas cloud, and they landed on a cliff with a cave. It was the dragon's lair.

The Giant Luna Moth became a tattoo on Laney's hand.

They entered the cave and noticed some green glowing eyes.

A row of teeth formed in front of them and breathed fire at them.

They moved out of the way.

"Ooh!" the Dragon cried. "The pain!"

When they spotted the dragon, he was in terrible pain.

"Whoa," exclaimed J.D. "You have a bad stomachache."

"Yes," the Dragon answered, groaning in pain. "You must all help me."

"There must be something inside you that is causing this," Vince replied.

"Yes, there is, and it is hurting me," the Dragon admitted.

"It's inside of you?" Jack asked.

They heard a loud stomach rumbling, ducked behind some cave columns, and held their breath. The dragon farted loudly, sending the stench down the spire and into the town. J.D.'s force field, fortunately, was still in place.

"That's what the smell is," J.D. understood. "It's dragon farts."

"At least we now know what that smell is," Varie added.

"Let's help the dragon," Vince proposed.

"Right," answered J.D. "Okay, dragon. We will help you."

"Yes," the Dragon responded. "You must enter me and destroy whatever is responsible for this."

When the Dragon's mouth opened, they realized they had to go inside.

"Okay, Jack, you're with me," J.D. declared.

"All right," Jack replied.

"Be careful, guys," Varie cautioned.

"We will," J.D. promised.

They entered through the mouth, which was strange, and noticed two holes in the back of the mouth. One led to the esophagus and the other to the lungs.

"Looks like we have two choices," J.D. noted.

"Yes," Jack agreed.

They went for the right hole, but a huge jet of fire exploded instead.

"Whoa!" shouted J.D.

"That hole must lead to the lungs," Jack reasoned.

"Yep," J.D. responded, pointing to the left one, "this way."

They went down the esophagus and into the stomach. Acid bubbles broke the fall.

"This must be the dragon's stomach," J.D. concluded.

"It's huge," Jack commented.

J.D. finds the bowels' exit.

He leads Jack to the valve that connects to it.

"Dragon?" Jack yelled. "Are we near the source of the problem?"

"No," the Dragon answered. "You both need to go lower."

J.D. and Jack venture deep down the dragon's intestines, where they find some slurping Villi.

"These must be the dragon's Villi in the intestines," J.D. theorized.

"Maybe," Jack answered.

They tried to time their jumps, but they were grabbed and dragged into the bloodstream.

"Whoa!" shouted J.D. "We're in the dragon's bloodstream."

Jack found what appeared to be a helmet cell and placed it over his head.

They traveled through the dragon's blood, through its heart, and into its abdomen. They then discovered the source of the problem. It was a nearly fully hatched egg.

"It's a baby dragon," J.D. revealed.

It breathed fire and struck a gland, which caused the fart gas to be expelled.

"Please!" insisted the Dragon. "Hurry! I CANNOT STAND MUCH MORE!"

"Come on, Jack!" yelled J.D.

They cut the strands that were tying the egg down and ran as more fart gas was released. J.D. erected a force field around himself, and the baby dragon's fire ignited the gas, causing it to explode and send them flying out of the dragon with incredible force.

"Thank you!" cried the Dragon.

They regrouped as J.D. lifted the force fields surrounding himself and the town, and the entire smell vanished.

The Baby dragon hatched from the egg and flew to the village with Jack.

"Look!" the Man exclaimed.

The village cheered wildly for all of them.

They explained what was going on to the villagers, who, as it turned out, forgave the dragon. The strangest part of their adventure was that they got to learn everything there was to know about dragon anatomy.
