The silence is eerie, still and unmoving, as if coiling for an attack and Naruto can't breathe.
Next to him, Sasuke stays unnaturally still, hoping, that for once, for once, if he doesn't move, doesn't acknowledge the moment, it will fade and everything will go back to being okay.
