84. Chapter 84

"The key is under the mat."

JJ pulled into the driveway of the Ambassador's McLean mansion and frowned when she saw that Emily's car wasn't there. They had gotten the weekend off and Elizabeth had graciously lent them the use of her house to have a little staycation. JJ pulled out her phone and fired off a text to Emily:

'I'm here already. Are you on your way?'

The response came a minute later: 'Sort of? I figured you'd get there first so just let yourself in. The key is under the mat.'

'EMILY! This is a multimillion-dollar house! You can't just leave the keys under the mat!'

'It's fine! Just go in and get a drink and get comfortable, I'll be there asap :)'
