Hello everyone! Here is another One Shot!
As the title say, this is something unexpected happening, set in modern time

Ann gave a groan as her hand moved to her back, which was hurting. And it had for about a day now, but it felt worse. She had tried, numerous times, to go to the bathroom, hoping it might just be constipation and nothing serious. She had a doctor's appointment tomorrow, and she just needed to cope. It had gotten a bit better a second yesterday, while she sat on the toilet and she had suddenly just peed a lot. But, no, the pain came back, even worse now.
Marco had come with the idea to take a bath, and she did, thinking a warm bath must help. It was just her and Marco home right now. Marco wasn't supposed to be home, but since she was in pain, he called in sick for her, so she wasn't alone, it was really nice. Marco was still the oldest sibling, and she was still just 16, a child still they said, and Pops couldn't be home as he had some important meetings.
As she got in the bath, it seemed it helped, before it started to get worse and worse, pain washing over her every now and then, just getting rapidly worse and breathing was hard. So, she looked at the door. "Marco!" It took some seconds, but Marco soon came, hands shielding his eyes. "Yes, Ann?" Ann did her best to breathe. "I think we need to call an ambulance." Marco frowned a bit. "Is it that bad?" Ann nodded as another pain wave washed over her and she almost wanted to scream, before it half passed, and she looked at Marco. "Yes, I do! It is really painful!" She needed to go to the hospital based on how painful this was, and they had no car right now. All of them were in use, or else, she would have asked Marco to drive her. Marco nodded and went to call, while she tried to breathe through the pain.
As the pain continued, she moved a hand to her belly, as it hurt and it was like a painful cramp. Ann then moved her hand between her legs, to see if maybe this was her period? Maybe she just had a bad one? It was a bit late, and it had been… lacking the last months, not gone, but not as much as it used to be, and maybe it had just piled up for some reason and everything came now. But then, as she felt there, and she felt something coming out of her, she freaked, moving her hand away as she breathed hard, before she leaned forward, and yes, there was a foot coming out of her, she was currently in labor. She didn't know what to do, so she did the one logical thing to do and turned to the door. "Marco!" Marco soon came, hand shielding his eyes. "Is it worse, yoi? They are coming." Ann shook her head. "No! Or yes! I am in labor!" Marco moved his hand away and looked shocked. "Are you sure?" Ann groaned as another pain wave- no- contraction came. "Yes! There is a fucking foot coming out of me! I am sure!" Ann groaned again and did her best to breathe, before she looked at a shell shocked Marco. "Make them hurry!" Marco nodded and moved the phone back to his ear. "Hi, yes hi, she's in labor! We're sure! Make them hurry!"
Ann did her best to take breaths, before she felt another contraction and couldn't help but scream. It hurt so bad. She then went back to breathing when it passed, and he heard some commotion in the hallway, before the door opened to reveal Curiel, who must have gotten home. The man looked at her. "Are you sure y-" Ann screamed again, as a contraction hit, before she looked at him. "Yes! There is a foot coming out of me! Oh God! It hurts!" Curiel still looked a bit disbelieving. "M-may I check?" Ann looked at him. "Yes! Make it stop!" She yelled, before she screamed as another one hit.
Curiel then came over, and it didn't take long before he moved a hand to his mouth. "You really are in labor!" Ann gave a look. "I said so!" And another contraction came, when she was done screaming, Curiel looked like he wasn't sure what to do. And while she tried to take breaths, she looked at him. "Help me!" Curiel looked lost. "I- I've never delivered a baby!" Ann figured she didn't care. "Just do something!" And another contraction, and Curiel nodded. "Okay, okay. Um, think back, you learned this." He said to himself, before he took a breath as she screamed after a bit. "Okay, when the next one comes, push." Ann blinked. "How!" Curiel looked unsure. "Um, like what your body is trying to do when a contraction comes-" And it came, and she screamed, before she did her best to push, no idea if she even did it right. But it hurt so bad. She then tried to breathe, before another came, and she did her best to push again, and then, when it passed, it didn't hurt as bad, and he looked at Curiel, who moved his hands, before he brought up a baby, who was not crying. Making her panic.
Curiel then did something by the baby's mouth, before it started to slowly cry, some gurgling coming first. It made her lean her head backwards. "Oh God, oh God," She breathed out, no idea what to even say. She had no idea she was even pregnant. She didn't look pregnant! Her belly was still slim! And she had not gained any weight that she knew about. Then the door opened again and paramedics came inside, quickly taking the baby and wrapping it, while another checked her, asking her to just breathe still and both would get taken to the hospital. And that sounded the best idea she had heard all day.
They were then taken away, her not able to see much of the baby, which she was told was a boy, and when she asked if he was okay, she got no answer, before one said they needed to do more tests. Oh God, what if it was damaged? She hadn't been careful. She had eaten food she shouldn't have. She had trained a lot. She had even been drinking one time, not that she would tell that while Marco was here. Not good at all. She was already a terrible mom!
They then got to the hospital, and she was taken to a room, where a doctor came and checked her over, and stitched her up, saying she had some ripping. Marco was gone now, probably speaking to someone. When that was over, and she managed for the first time to take breaths calmly, the door opened and Pops came in, making her feel so sad. What if the baby wouldn't make it since she had been so terrible? It made her start to sob, and Pops was quick in comforting her, saying it would be fine. But how would it? She just had a baby! That was most likely damaged! When she managed to take breaths again, Pops asked her to start from the beginning. And she did. Telling how the pain started yesterday, before it got worse and she took a bath, and how she gave birth in that bath.
It made Pops nod and did his best in comforting her, which felt nice. But then, after an hour, the door opened and a nurse came in with a crib, giving a smile. "Your son is just fine. He passed all his tests." Ann blinked. "He- he is?" The nurse nodded. "Yes, he is. Do you want to hold him?" Ann nodded, before she got to hold him, and it felt so weird. She had a baby she had just birthed in her arms. She then looked at Pops, before she started to laugh, no idea where it came from. Pops gave a chuckle himself, before he moved to check the baby out. "He is beautiful." Ann nodded and looked down at him. "He is. He really is." He was, he was perfect. She then leaned her head back and gave a breath. She just had a baby, and she had no idea she was even pregnant. She then looked at Pops. "I have nothing for him." Pops nodded. "I know, but we will fix that while you gather your strength. Already sent Marco shopping." Ah, so that was where Marco had gone. Good good, that was perfect.
She then looked down at the baby, and this was perfect. She had wanted to maybe become a mother one day, and that day was today apparently. She was just glad it had gone fine. She had a healthy baby, a small baby boy. Now, she just needed to find a way to tell the father.
