Chapter 38: Sky vs Earth, Still

"This is getting ridiculous," Cielo sighed, watching his Elementals degrade into a shouting match with the other group. "They look like squabbling children."

Beside him, the redhead chuckled. "I know. I won't stop them yet. Too much risk. Terra, Earth Elemental," he extended a hand.

Cielo shook it firmly. "Cielo, Sky Elemental."

Aside from the very first conversation between the two groups, Cielo and Terra have not exchanged words before this, the debate of who owns what taken up by their respective Elementals.

"LET'S SETTLE THIS! ROCK PAPER SCISSORS! BEST OF FIVE!"

"DEAL!"

"What?!" one screeched.

"Not again," another groaned.
