Chapter Two: Welcome to Forks (A Fresh Start)
The next morning Hermione groaned from the sunlight from her window, blinking her eyes staring at the room, realizing that she wasn't in her bedroom in England anymore she furrowed her eyes all confused.
'Where—where am I…?' Hermione thought to herself furrowing her eyebrows until it dawned on her that she's in a small town called Forks in America slowly nodding to herself 'Oh that's right… Neville, Luna, Teddy and I decided to leave England and start fresh by fleeing the country,' she sighed tiredly as she got up, stretching her arms with a tired yawn 'It's a good thing it's Friday… wait it's Friday,' she panicked looking at the calendar realizing she hasn't started school yet 'Oh thank Godric… we haven't enrolled into school yet… or else we would've made a bad expression in our first day can't have that…' she thought to herself and got out of bed.
Hermione looked around her bedroom noticing that she has her own bedroom while Neville and Luna shared in theirs since they're engaged so it would've made sense and went to check on Teddy who's sleeping in his crib who was stirring in his sleep whimpering over that she rushed over to check on him.
"Shh… it's okay sweetheart momma Mia is here… shh… it's okay Teddybear," Hermione tried to calm down Teddy patting him on the back softly not noticing that he slowly opened his eyes blinking his eyes from crying that she softened her eyes "There, there Teddy it's okay it's only a dream… no one's going to hurt you—" she paused for a moment to look at the time it was now 6:45 in the morning "Hmm… apparently we woke up quite early today… why don't we head downstairs and make some breakfast for everyone okay Teddybear how does that sound?" she explained.
Teddy whimpered "I had a bad dream momma with that bad lady again," he murmured.
Hermione softened her eyes "Uh oh and what bad lady Teddy?"
Teddy sniffed whimpering "She's a mean lady … she hurt my mommy…" he murmured.
"What did she look like sweetie," Hermione held her baby boy into a hug to calm him down "Shh it's okay Teddy she's not gonna hurt you, I promise," she murmured.
"I don't rumember?" Teddy whimpered hiding his face against her shoulder "Do you prumise momma?" he sniffed wiping his tears
"That's okay… sometimes dreams can be a little overwhelming and don't worry no one can hurt us here I pinky promise let's make some breakfast okay," Hermione murmured, kissing his forehead.
"Okey momma," Teddy sniffed, nuzzling his godmother who's now his adopted mother "Can you make me some pancakes pluese," he whispered.
Hermione gave him a soft smile "Chocolate chip pancakes for my favorite Teddy bear coming right up," she beamed causing him to giggle as they both headed downstairs "You're such a sweet boy aren't you Teddy bear," she murmured.
"Yay pancakes and I'm always good momma," Teddy giggled pausing for a moment not recognizing the room "Momma… where are we?" he explained.
Hermione lips twitched in amusement "Oh that's right you were still asleep … we decided to leave England and live in a small town called Forks, Washington that's all the way in America…" she explained.
Teddy furrowed his eyebrows "Amurica…" he tried to pronounce it but failed "So...we're not in England anymore momma?" he murmured.
"America sweetheart," Hermione correctly softly "And no not anymore…" she murmured.
"How come momma?" Teddy asked.
Hermione sighed steadying Teddy into her arms "Well… your aunt Luna, uncle Neville and I decided that it was best that we start fresh in a new place… I know it won't be the same but, we'll be able to visit everyone whenever we can since I transferred everyone's burial down here… " she explained.
"Really? We can visit granny, my momma and daddy, along with everyone else momma?" Teddy murmured.
"That's right… I haven't told your aunt Luna and uncle Nev yet but I'm sure they'd understand that I had to protect everyone despite how it's in a private property. It's the only way that I'll feel at ease about where everyone is," Hermione explained.
"How did you do that momma?" Teddy asked.
"I know people that can help… not even your godfather Harry knows about them," Hermione explained.
"Who?"
"An old friend… that I knew as a child… he lives in Italy and we stayed in touch over the years,"
"Oh…is it a magical town momma?"
"Not this one luv… it's a muggle town so no one knows that we're famous not like in England anyway or that we're a witch or wizard here… the only people who do are my family—my brothers Barry, Jay, Zander and Logan then my sister Ariel along with the twins Elias and Evie who are about your age except they're be turning 5 years old they're really nice and I bet they'll love you,"
"Oh… uncles… I got uncles and auntie?" Teddy asked, tilting his head curiously.
Hermione smiled fondly and tapped Teddy on the nose causing him to giggle "Yes, that's right. I have four older brothers being your uncles, I have one older sister who's your auntie and two youngest siblings about your age. You'll love them Teddy they're really nice," she murmured.
"Oh…that's cool. I can't wait to meet them momma"
"And I bet they can't wait to meet you too…" Hermione began to say with a small smile noticing Teddy scanning around "What's wrong Teddy don't you like this place?" she explained.
Teddy looked around the house "I don't know, I have never been hure before?" he softly says.
"I did once… you wanna know how?"
"How?"
"It was before the war … gotten really dangerous... but, you want to know a secret that I never told anyone?"
"The war momma?"
"Yes it was… before the war gotten really dangerous...I was here a few years ago but, this place was the last time I saw my sister Ariel and my brothers Logan and Zander about six years ago—but, my sister she's taking care of Elias and Evie the twins—our youngest siblings. They don't know I'm alive yet,"
Teddy widened his eyes in awe "Really…." he began to say causing Hermione to nod at this "You've been here before momma…" he then grew quiet "Where was I?" he explained.
"You were in your mummy's tummy that time it was before you were born… I went to meet… your uncle Harry … and uncle Ron… that time uncle Bill was marrying auntie Fleur you remember them don't you?" Hermione explained.
Teddy furrowed his eyebrows trying to remember "I think so," he tilted his head "Is he uncle Ron's big brother momma?" he explained.
"Yes that's right… it was before we lost everyone Teddy...back in the war... " Hermione whispered.
"Oh… was that before … your parents were alive momma?" Teddy asked.
Hermione held her breath slowly "Yes it was… before...my parents…it was when I sent them away to Australia…my brothers… and my sister away… from the war… I wanted to protect them… and once the war was over I instantly went to look for them in Australia only to find out they passed away… do you remember when we went there for a vacation?" she explained.
Teddy nodded at this "Yeah I remember…granny said that one day we'll come back again to visit and I'm sorry that you lost your parents momma," he murmured then grew sad.
"Thank you Teddy...that's very sweet of you … maybe one day we'll come visit Australia again on a vacation would you like that?" Hermione explained.
"Your welcome momma and can we really, I like how it has a kangaroo?" Teddy eyes widen in awe causing Hermione to giggle "Can we go to the beach too momma?" he explained.
"I love going to Australia too since we had tons of fun last time," Hermione explained.
"Yeah," Teddy grew excited then got sad "So…how did your parents die?" he explained.
Hermione sighed tiredly "It's a long story… it was before the war got really dangerous… the last time I saw my parents… was when I was in my 5th year around the holidays of Christmas… I obviate my parents to keep them safe away from the war by sending them to Australia… and protecting them…when the war ended... I immediately looked for them only to find out they got killed from a car crash so they're in heaven watching over us with your parents, your grandmother, and Augusta including the rest of our friends and family—" she drifted off with a distant memory came through her mind "As for my brothers Barry, Jay, Zander and Logan along with Ariel, Elias and Evie they were only 8 months old since I saw them in my 5th year in Christmas…that was six years ago… I had to send everyone away to protect them Teddy as they have families of their own…the only clue I gave them was this necklace that was about three years ago when things started to cool down in England—" she murmured showing Teddy her pendant of a Lion based on her house in Gryffindor "I told them that I was okay—despite how dangerous it was with the death eaters fleeing away left to right… I didn't want to risk putting them in danger again… I also left this journal and left a message that I'll see them soon… I never got a chance to tell them that I'm alive after what happened to nana Andy and nana Augusta a year ago they probably think we're dead," she whispered.
Teddy grew sad and hugged Hermione "I'm sorry momma," he murmured.
"It's not your fault sweetheart," Hermione smiled as she sat down Teddy in his high chair once she prepared lunch looking around the fridge noticing that they didn't have much food "Oh dear…we don't have enough ingredients to make pancakes… the only thing that I can make are just sandwiches," she set the wheat bread, cheese and ham then the other pile was PB&J peanut butter and jelly on each plate "What do you want me to make Teddy PB&J or ham and cheese sandwich since we can't make pancakes today we need to go grocery shopping for that?"
"Awe," Teddy sulked sadly then looking at the choices as he saw PB&J "I want PB&J please momma," he cried out happily causing Hermione to giggle.
"Alright PB&J sandwich coming right up," Hermione began to say, spreading the strawberry jam first then the peanut butter on the other making small slices so it would be easier for Teddy to eat "Here you go Teddy bear," she explained.
"Thank you, momma," Teddy beamed munching his sandwich "Yummy"
Hermione giggled kissing his forehead making herself a sandwich as well 'If only Harry was here he would've wanted a grilled cheese sandwich too,' she thought sadly as she grew sad over her best friend.
Hermione doesn't believe he's dead though—she knew he's out there ... somewhere—but don't know where yet so for now she's going to make the best of it and raise Teddy so he can have a fun childhood with the help of Neville and Luna, of course. A few minutes later Neville and Luna went downstairs to greet Hermione and Teddy.
"Morning," Neville yawned patting Teddy on the head "Morning kiddo," he fondly ruffled his hair causing Teddy to giggle then looked at the clock widen his eyes in horror as it was now 7:30 in the morning "Blimey is the time… we're late for school," he cried out in protest.
Hermione giggled "Oh Nev… it's not a school day … for us" she pointed out.
"Yes it is it's Friday isn't it?"
"I realize that but we arrived here quite late. Remember we were so tired and planned on enrolling in school today so we have to do that first before we do anything else," Hermione began to say which dawned on Neville to realize she's right "Besides… we have to get ready if we're going to start our fresh start today," she explained.
"What do you mean Mione?"
Before Hermione can answer Luna, however skipping along downstairs greeting them "Good morning," Luna skipped happily kissing Neville on the lips which he happily obliged "Morning Mia, Morning Teddy, what are you guys talking about?" she explained.
"Morning luv," Neville greeted his fiancee Luna.
"Morning Lulu," Hermione beamed, making sure Teddy had enough apple juice "We were just talking about our plans today what time do you want to leave?" she began to say looking at the bread, P&B or ham & cheese "Speaking of breakfast what do you guys want to eat? PB&J or ham & cheese sandwich since we don't have a lot of food left," she explained.
"Ham and cheese sandwich please and sounds like a plan Mia," Luna beamed at this "And we can leave whenever you're ready Mia, we also need to go grocery shopping today once we're done with our errands today," she pointed out.
"Make that two ham and cheese sandwiches Mione," Neville murmured.
"Two ham and cheese sandwiches coming right up," Hermione flipped the sandwiches from the frying pan and waved her wand to make the PB&J sandwich for herself and ham and cheese sandwiches for Neville and Luna—two grilled ham and cheese sandwiches while the other plates were PB&J sandwiches with potato chips and pumpkin juice then gave Teddy baby food of baby peaches "Here you go guys," she explained.
"Smells great," Neville beamed as he took a bite "Not bad thanks Mione,"
"Your welcome Nev,"
"Thank you Mia this is delicious I like the melted cheese part,"
"I'm glad you like it Luna—speaking of food, yes we do need to go grocery shopping since our fridge is empty. The only thing that we have are just slices of bread, strawberry jam, peanut butter, ham and cheese which we need more than that,"
"I agree, so what should we do first today Mione?"
"Well since it's Friday… most of the students would be in school by now but, we'll start our first day on Monday so it will give us some time to look around… so...first thing on the list is that we're going to do is enroll us into our new school, go furniture shopping for our new home then buy a car for us, then go grocery shopping for food and if we have time we can take Teddy to the park so we can use to this place. What do you guys think?"
"Sure, sounds like a plan then we can have a movie night. I always wanted to try out those movies you told me about," Luna spoke up.
Hermione nodded "Sounds brilliant. I know a few movies we can try out. It's a good thing I have some movies with me but, if you want we can buy some more? There's a lot of selections inside the stores,"
Neville beamed at this nodding in agreement "I like that plan good thing we haven't enrolled yet or else it wouldn't look good being the news students and all"
"Yes it would," Hermione sighed tiredly looking at the time it was now 7:45 in the morning "Why don't we get ready first while I give Teddy his bath and get ready along the way then we'll meet downstairs say an hour?" she offered.
"Sounds perfect we'll see you in an hour Mia," Luna answered as she and Neville headed upstairs to get ready.
"See you in an hour guys" Hermione began to asy grabbing Teddy after she washed the dishes and put them away in the cupboard so they can all get ready "Come on Teddy it's time for us to get ready since we have a lot of errands we gotta do," she explained.
"Okey momma," Teddy murmured.
Hermione, Teddy, Luna and Neville all got ready for the day however, neither of them notice that the Cullens and the pack were minding their own business to prevent to not scare the new kids from having no idea where they're living in town so it's still unknown on their location. Neither of them knew that Zander, Logan, Ariel and thier cousin Aqua all had conflicted emotions today as they learned their little sister & cousin Hermione passed away today—a year ago not realizing that she's indeed alive although after last night they're not 100% sure since they felt someone's magic from the other side of town in LaPush reservation.
Last night when Zander and Logan, Hermione's older brothers were just minding their own business watching over Sam & the pack by following them to the Cullen's side and overheard what Alice told them about her vision left them speechless, not knowing what to say they both put a silent charm around their spot and overheard them about what happened to their little sister Hermione; they both were conflicted, emotionless and stunned by the news thanks to Alice, as they both silently agreed to tell their sister Ariel and their cousin Aqua knowing that Sam and the pack must've kept some information from them.
Despite how they're skeptically by Alice's visions however, they were truly not sure if it's true or no since they just came to terms that their little sister was dead and now all of a sudden it turned their worlds upside down… they just have one little problem neither of them knew where their little sister lives or if Alice was telling the truth until—
[flashback from last night]...
"Zayne did you feel that?" Logan blurted out.
Zander paled at this looking at his necklace glowing blue and bronze "Y-you don't think she'd—" he was cut off by Logan apparating them both to the familiar magic that they both felt from underground and it didn't help that their pendants were glowing…
It could be anything as they both looked at each other with their faces pale than usual—there was three people… a brunette young boy, a blonde girl and a brunette girl carrying a baby boy staring at them in disbelief—their little sister Hermione is indeed alive and that Alice was telling the truth which neither siblings would admit out loud.
"Sweet mother of Hufflepuff?!" Logan blurted out.
"That makes two of us brother...what the bloody hell?!" Zander blurted out "Mya's alive,"
When the three teenagers turned Logan and Zander had to duck hiding behind the trees hoping they didn't reveal themselves.
"Mione where are we?" the brunette teenager said.
"Forks, we're in Forks, Washington Nev," a familiar voice, who they recognized as their sister Hermione leaving both Zander and Logan speechless and dumbstruck.
[end of flashback from last night]...
Apparently they arrived in Forks last night on Thursday—10:45 p.m. in Forks, Washington and instantly bought a house that Hermione's parents bought a few years ago since it was under their names, as they grew tired mumbling that they'll enrol into high school tomorrow morning and their first day will be on Monday not realizing that they were being following by Hermione's older brothers Zander and Logan who been hiding behind the trees watching their every move since last night. Right now they were getting ready to head out, it was now 8:45 in the morning and been watching from the trees since last night, neither brothers spoke until they rapidly got up leaning a little closer than usual but, not to close not wanting to be creepy—
"So what's the first thing on the list for today Mione?" Neville spoke up.
Zander and Logan both looked at each other 'He must be Neville. Neville Longbottom,' they both thought to themselves.
"Hmm…." Hermione began to say looking down on her list on her notebook "Let me see… we have to… enroll in school so we should look at the schools in the area… if we're going to start fresh here…" she drifted off scanning around noticing something odd which wasn't noticed from Luna.
"Mia what is it?" Luna spoke up noticing the girl looking around.
Hermione shook her head, as she must've been imagining things "Oh nothing Lulu… I could've sworn I saw—never mind… so this school that I want to try out is LaPush High … it's just down the street from here...let's go check there LaPush is much closer to our house," she explained.
Luna however, knew the reason as her lips twitched "For new beginnings," she spoke up.
"To new beginnings," Neville and Hermione murmured.
Logan looked conflicted 'She must be Luna, Luna Lovegood Mio's classmates from Hogwarts, the one that Mio told us about…' he spoke up inside his head.
'Yes, I believe she is,' Zander spoke up in their silence conversation.
'Are we still following her?'
Zander gave a blank look 'Yes, I don't want to give my hopes up when it comes with our sister Logan…' he answered.
'True… so what do we do?'
'Follow her,'
'Already on it Z…'
'Just be sure not to make it obvious I have a feeling Luna might know but, I can't be sure I saw her looking at us as if she knew that we're there… but, I could be seeing things,'
'Hmm.. yes I think we need to be extra careful… I have a feeling she's like Alice except … I can't be 100% sure since I never met her in person before…'
'That makes two of us brother… shall we?'
'After you?'
Zander and Logan both apparent to the next destination which was by LaPush High in their disguise as Maxwell 'Max' & Matthew 'Matt' Reese, neither of them noticed that Aqua their cousin tilting her head but, shook her head knowing her cousins, she'll talk to them in a later time.
Down the road, you'll see Hermione and her friends driving to La Push in Hermione's brand new car KIA 2015 with Luna sitting next to her in the front then Neville and Teddy sitting in the back, her car was mixed with purple and blue with a round squarish shape, heading to the administration office to enroll to their high school but, unfortunately they were under construction after Hermione asked Lila one of the employee's who explained about their situation which left her to blink her eyes owlish, sighed sadly and gave a pout until she suggested to try to enroll to another high school—Forks High since most of the students from La Push transferred into their school until LaPush High is done with construction which should be finished within a year or two so that's what they did— they drove to Forks High ignoring the odd looks from everyone but, Hermione was determined to make this work at least she kept telling herself anyway.
Once Hermione cross off the list, enrolling to their new schools, they bought a new car KIA SOUL 2015 which was mixed of purple and blue, then four more cars, motorcycles, motor scooters and a boat, by the time they were done it was already 11:35 in the morning. It took nearly 3 ½ hours to finish the first half of the list then they went to the furniture store to order new furniture for their new house then went to Walmart to buy their school supplies not noticing everyone's curiosity about the newcomers in town.
Everywhere they went they can feel eyes following them in each isle of each row, bought what they need ignoring everyone's murmurs inside the store that took another hour to finish the first half of the list and had a lot more to do that they needed to do not noticing that Zander and Logan been following them all morning since they arrived last night.
"That was very uneventful," Neville tiredly began to say putting the bags inside the car "So what's next in the list?" he explained
Hermione sighed looking at her notebook "Yes, it was I just hope the students here are nice…and let me see… we enrolled Teddy into school then we enrolled into high school across the street from Teddy's school, then bought our new cars, motorcycles, motor scooters and bought a boat to go fishing then we went to Walmart to buy school supplies…" she began to say then looked at the second half of the list "We can either go grocery shopping or go to the mall to buy new clothes for us since we need new outfits especially Teddy and once we're done we can have a picnic at the park to relax," she explained.
Luna nodded in agreement, "I'm sure it will be fine Mia," she began to say looking over Hermione's shoulder to look at the list first "Let's go to the mall to shop for our clothes first then go grocery shopping then head home and pack a picnic before we go to the park then we can do the 2nd half of the list tomorrow since we're nearly done," she explained.
"Brilliant I was just thinking the same thing," Hermione grinned turning on the GPS "The closest mall… is about an hour from here which shouldn't be difficult for us to find … maybe we'll find a store for us to buy movies so we can watch a movie what do you guys think?" she explained.
"Sounds good, maybe tomorrow we can look around town and get used to the place," Neville offered, causing the girls to nod in agreement.
"I like that plan Nev let's go," Hermione beamed adt this as she turned on the engine while everyone put their seat belts for safety including Teddy as he sat in his car seat playing with his toys "So… where do you guys want to go next besides buying new clothes and grocery shopping today. We have a whole day tomorrow since our first day isn't till Monday," she explained.
"Well if we have time maybe we can get new movies and get Teddy a new pet?" Luna offered.
"A new pet huh...like adopting a pet?"
"Yes, I think he'll like that don't you Teddy,"
Teddy nodded eagerly "Can we momma?"
Hermione giggled "I'm sure we'll find an animal shelter around town to adopt pets,"
"Yay," Teddy clapped happily "Can we get a puppy?"
"Do you want a puppy Teddy?"
"Yes,"
"What kind of puppy?"
"There's more than one puppy?"
"Yes, there's all sorts of puppies Teddybear,"
Teddy furrowed his eyebrows "Really I didn't know that… what kind do they have momma?"
"Well… do you want a magical puppy or muggle puppy?"
"Can we get both?"
"I suppose we could… but, considering we live in a muggle town the muggles might think it's odd don't you think?"
Teddy bowed his head sadly "Awe… so no magical puppies?"
"We can still get a magical puppy you just can't bring them outside where muggles might think it's weird…but, I'm sure we can figure something out Teddy,"
"Okay momma,"
"You know… for muggles they have all sorts of puppies but, my favorite one would have to be huskies, dalmations, pitbulls or bulldogs,"
"What's that?"
"They're very lovable, but a bit expensive though I'm sure we'll find one that would fit all of us,"
"Do they have a kitty too momma?"
"They have all sorts of animals Teddy when we get there I'll show you what they look like,"
"Okay I can't wait to pick my new puppy"
"Me either Teddy,"
By the time they reached Seattle, Washington they found a mini mall not far ahead as Hermione and her friends headed inside the parking lot by the mall and found a parking spot.
"So this is what the mall looks like huh?"
"Yep, so what do you guys think?"
Neville scrunch his nose "What's that smell?"
Hermione and Luna scrunch their nose "Ewe… that is … completely horrid… let me find another spot … it smells really horrible,"
"Yes, yes it does I feel like I'm going to be sick...," Luna nodded in agreement covering her mouth then found a parking spot "Oh look Mia there's one over there by the stairs… is that better?"
"Oh yes that's much better than the one parking next to this place that's for sure," Hermione began to say as she backs up her car with Neville, Luna, and Teddy inside and drove to the other parking spot by the stairs way farther by the old spot Hermione found "Much better don't you think," she explained.
"Much better actually," Neville began to say as he unbuckled Teddy's seatbelt after he unbuckled his seatbelt and carried him in his baby pouch "So this is what the mall looks like huh?" he explained.
"We're at the parking lot but, yes, when we get inside over there," Hermione pointed at the entrance a few feet from they were "They should have all sorts of stores inside including the pet store which is across the mall," she explained.
"Brilliant," Neville beamed at this holding Luna's hand and held her closely as they walked inside the mall "Well we have a lot of shopping to do shall we ladies?" he offered.
Luna giggled while Hermione shook her head "We shall," they both answered.
After a long day of 6 ½ hours Hermione, Neville, Luna and Teddy were all tired so they went to relax at the bench before they headed home after shopping for new clothes, bought new movies, new backpacks, video games for Teddy, enrolling to schools, bought and ordered the furniture, then bought their school supplies, bought new cars, a boat, motorcycles and motor scooters; they're all tired and decided to head home in Forks, Washington to take Teddy to the park since they adopted four puppies as promised.
It was a new litter of puppies in Hemlock Lane similar to Diagon Alley but, smaller, they felt that familiar smell as if they were home in England but, before they headed inside they decided to be under disguise… hoping no one would recognize them. That's when they saw a pet shop fill of pets and saw a new litter of puppies waiting to be adopted to their new home and that's what they did, two magical puppies a brown puppy boarhound and a german shepherd puppy that can change colors like Teddy and two puppies that was a dalmation and a greyish huskie that Hermione recognized instantly in muggle London.
However, Teddy named them after his dad Remus, Sirius his uncle, James who was Harry's father and his godfather Harry—a brown puppy boarhound 'Mooney' after his birth father Remus, then there's a german shepherd dog name which has black and brown fur 'Padfoot' then there's a dalmation 'Prongs' then a huskee name which it's a girl 'Tiger Lily' after his godfather Harry's mum Lily who instantly connected with Teddy the minute they stepped inside the pet shop it surprised Hermione and Neville a lot while Luna looked amused and bought supplies for the puppies who barked happily, giving them a name, a dog leash and dog tag with each of their names, home address, and number if they ever get lost hoping that won't happen but, eventually that was done for the day and decided to go grocery shopping then put the food away, pack the food for a picnic and head to the park before it gets dark.
By the time they arrived at Forks, Washington they went home to put away the groceries after they went grocery shopping while Luna went to pack food for their picnic at the park for Teddy since they did promise to take him there. Once it reached to 4:30 in the afternoon they decided to leave to the park—Hermione, Neville, and Luna noticed a few town folks noticed KIA SOUL SUV passing by their town murmuring pointing at the new car, as she kept driving not noticing the stares from the town folks filled with food inside their picnic basket with a blanket on top until they finally found the park—which wasn't far from where they live about 10 minutes away so it wasn't so bad.
Neville gave a tired yawn looking at the clock "Blimey… how long have we been out for?" he asked.
Hermione looked at the time and nodded at this "We've been out since 8:30 in the morning Nev… so that's been nearly …8 ½ hours …." she explained.
"Bloody hell…it's a good thing the sun is still out ...since we're at the park we might as well have a picnic since we packed the food together to relax before we head home and go grocery shopping on Sunday tomorrow what do you think Mione?" Neville explained.
"I think we should since we have all day tomorrow, what do you think Mia?" Luna asked.
Hermione looked at her godson Teddy who was playing with his toys—airplanes, trains, stuffed animals with different types of animals chatting away with the puppies who were wagging their tails barking happily and smiling softly at them.
"Yes, I think we all need a break to relax from everything… since I'm too tired to drive to the store at the moment," Hermione murmured.
"Well it's a good thing that I packed us a picnic and brought a blanket," Luna spoke up causing both Hermione and Neville to chuckle.
"I had a feeling you'd say that Lulu come on, let's find a good spot and relax for once," Hermione offered.
"I like the way you think Mione since we all need one," Neville explained.
"I think we all do…" Hermione began to say grabbing Teddy out of his carseat holding the four puppies "Okay Teddy bear we're here," she announced.
Teddy stirred from his nap blinking his eyes with a yawn rubbing his eyes scanning around "Where are we now momma?" he murmured.
"We're at the park luv," Hermione murmured.
"Really?" Teddy asked.
"Yeah we can get to play the puppies they need lots of love Teddybear,"
"Okay momma," Teddy nodded at this holding the pups as they raced over to the park "Come on Mooney let's go to the park and play," he cried out happily causing the pups to bark happily following their Alpha of the pack.
"Teddy don't run too far," Hermione called after Teddy nodded in agreement.
"Okay momma we'll be by the swings," Teddy gleefully says causing Hermione to chuckle "Come on Mooney let's go play," he giggled being licked by the puppies "Puppies come with me," he announced.
Hermione chuckled grabbing their things "Nev did you grab Teddy's bag?"
"Yeah it's with me?"
"Don't worry Mia I got our snacks and I'll keep a lookout on Teddy with the puppies,"
"Oh, good well come on then,"
Luna, Neville, Hermione and Teddy headed to the park which wasn't far from them but took the car just to be safe and brought the picnic basket full of treats since they set their picnic today.
"This must be it?" Hermione asked, staring at the park which was somewhat busy, "Let's go find a swing set for Teddy to play in?"
"Oh, look there's one that's empty," Luna answered as we saw the swing set empty.
Hermione put Teddy down in the swing sets and started pushing him "Are you having fun Teddy bear?"
"Yeah higher momma higher,"
Hermione smiled and pushed him higher "How's that Teddy bear?"
Teddy squealed happily "Wheeeee higher momma higher,"
"You better hold on tight Teddy bear," Hermione stated causing Teddy to hold onto the swings squealing in delight then pause for a moment "Luna do you mind watching Teddy while I grab something from the car real quick,"
"Of course, we'll be here," Luna nodded as she rushed over to push Teddy on the swings causing him to squeal happily "How was that Teddy?" she explained.
"Wheeeee higher auntie Luna higher," Teddy squealed happily, "That was so much fun I want to go again!" he says.
"Hold on tight Teddybear this is going to be a big one," Luna told him.
"Thanks Lulu," Hermione replied.
"No problem Mia," Luna beamed at this as she took pictures of them "Neville come join us,"
"Be right there luv," Neville spoke up as he quickly joined his new found family.
It took less than five minutes to come back when she grabbed her cell phone to take pictures of Teddy smiling as she made a mental note to make a scrapbook of everyone that she cared about and grabbed her digital camera—the professional's kinds which seemed to help her spirit up a bit.
"Smile Teddy bear," Hermione smiled focusing her camera "We're going to take pictures,"
"Cheeseeee," Teddy beamed, showing his baby teeth holding onto the pups "How was that momma?"
Hermione laughed at this and took a picture showing Teddy's smiling face "That was great Teddy bear do you want to play in the slides now or play with the puppies?"
"Play puppies,"
"Alright," Hermione took her god son out of the swings and put him down to the slides as he started playing with Neville who pretended to be a monster with the puppies who barked happily following Teddy who squealed happily.
"Rawrrrr," Neville hid his grin as he pretended to be a monster, "I'm going to get you little Teddy and your little puppies too rawrrrr," he explained causing the girls to snicker as they took pictures of this.
"Ahhh monster Mooney, Padfoot, Prongs, TigerLily let's hide here," Teddy screams playfully causing the puppies to follow and the girls to laugh "Momma take a picture of me and uncle Nev with puppies," he happily says as Hermione took tons of pictures of everyone.
"That was great Nev make sure the puppies don't run off too far and hold the leash will you," Hermione laughed out showing it to Luna who smiled at this on her camera "Luna why don't you go with them huh?" she offered.
"Alright," Luna skipped along next to her fiancée Neville and Teddy smiling at this "Come on puppies let's take a picture together," she beamed, causing the puppies to bark and licking Luna on the cheek causing her to giggle.
"Say Gryffindor Rules," Hermione grinned cheekily.
"Gryffindor Rules," Neville and Luna smiled while Hermione took a picture.
"Mia it's your turn to be in the picture," Luna smiled as her lips twitched in amusement "With Mooney and the puppies too so you guys can bond," she explained.
Hermione sighed "Alright Luna," after she showed her how to use the digital camera then she climbed to the slides as she and Neville switched holding the puppies with Teddy on their laps "Say Ravenclaw Rules," she hides a smile.
"Ravenclaw Rules!" Hermione and Neville smiled then realized what she just said,
"Hey, wait a minute we're not even in Ravenclaw," Hermione pouted causing Luna to laugh "That wasn't very nice Lulu,"
"I can't help it but, imagine if we were both in Ravenclaw that would've been a bit different don't you think?"
"Yes it would've been a lot different if I didn't meet Harry or Ron… but, unfortunately we can't change the past can we?" Hermione shrugged at this causing Luna and Neville to look at each other worriedly "After all…. If that didn't happen we wouldn't be friends Lulu," she explained.
"I think in some ways we would've been friends Mia with or without Harry and Ron's help," Luna spoke up.
"Yeah maybe...come on let's keep taking pictures," Hermione replied.
"After we eat since our picnic is now served," Luna announced, setting the picnic full of food with a red blanket.
"Looks great luv," Neville spoke up.
"Thank you," Luna beamed at this, turning to Teddy who was playing with the puppies not far behind "Teddy it's time for us to eat," she called out for her nephew.
"Coming auntie Lulu," Teddy called out with the puppies following not far behind "Come on Mooney, Padfoot, Prongs, Tiger Lily it's time for us to eat," he announced, the puppies barked happily as they joined Hermione, Luna and Neville sitting under the oak tree.
"Mia, is it time for us to eat?" Luna asked turning to Hermione who scanned around "Mia?"
"Hmm…" Hermione began to say, turning to her friends sitting on the blanket under the oak tree "Be right there…" she sighed sitting between her friends with Teddy sitting on her lap "Alright let's go eat huh?" she explained.
"We shall," Neville announced.
"What did you pack Lulu?"
"Oh you know I packed us some sandwiches, then some juice for all of us since I didn't find any pumpkin juice … So we'll use this," Luna began to say, grabbing the drinks, paper cups "And I also packed some potato chips, cookies and everything that we bought from Walmart," she explained.
"How did you manage to have the time to pack all this Lulu?" Hermione asked.
"I had some time on my hands, let's eat," Luna announced, causing everyone to nod at this as they started to chat away.
"So… what should we do tomorrow?" Neville asked.
Hermione gave a 'hum' sound "Well since tomorrow is Sunday I thought we can go to the zoo for Teddy to learn about the animals that he should know about?" she explained.
"The zoo momma?" Teddy asked.
"Mhmm there's a zoo about an hour away from here it's not far from the mall that we just came from?" Hermione explained.
"Really that sounds like fun can the puppies come?" Teddy perked up.
"I'm not sure that pets are allowed inside Teddy," Hermione began to say causing Teddy to sulk sadly "But, you know what there's this place where puppies like Mooney, Padfoot, Prongs and TigerLily can be watch over it's like a child care for pets we'll leave them there for a few hours until we pick them up. I bet they'll have loads of fun just like we will, how does that sound?" she explained.
"Will they be okay there momma," Teddy murmured nuzzling her neck in comfort.
"Yeah they'll be alright Teddy, after we go to the vet to give them a shot then we'll take them to the Pet Hotel Care where they'll watch over Mooney and his mini pack; don't worry it's a magical and non-magical Pet Hotel Care so we don't have to worry about the muggles freaking out," Hermione murmured.
"Oh… I thought it was a muggle town momma?" Teddy murmured.
"It is...you remember that secret that I told you about my siblings living here?" Hermione murmured.
"Yeah I remember," Teddy murmured.
"Well I believe that they're still living here and I'm sure there's a pet care for the pets," Hermione answered.
"Oh really...so there's a pet care for the pets Mione?" Neville spoke up.
"Yes my sister-in-law Zoey owns the place so I'm pretty sure every animal they babysit are extra cared for?"
"I didn't know you have a sister-in-law Mia?"
"Yes… I have four brothers… and a sister who is married well my brothers anyway not sure about your sister though?"
"How come?"
"Well…before the war got really dangerous I sent them away to protect them… here…"

Whooooooo! I know it's been a long time since I updated this story but I'm back now. I decided to change a few things in this chapter … you know how Alice saw Hermione, Neville, Luna, and Teddy alive in her vision… well what the Cullens, Sam and the pack don't know is that Zander, Logan and Ariel with their cousin Aqua, then there's Quinn & Alex Swan, Elsa Hawkthrone all have a secret of their own being Hermione's siblings who are also a wizard and witch muggleborn wizard and witch to be exact and kept their magic in the downlow, they have been keeping an eye out for danger without them finding out their secret—so there's going to be hidden secrets between the group especially between Sam Uley and Ariel Granger his fiancee (Aries Joelle Taylor Santiago-Aries Joelle Taylor Granger 'Ariel' being Hermione's older sister) Things are about to get really interesting ….
