Chapter 19

"John!" Nikki called out to her boyfriend from the foyer "Come on baby, We told Randy we would meet him at Club Prana in 15 minutes!" she exclaimed snapping her clutch closed.

John jogged down the stairs in a crisp white button up and dark wash faded jeans "I know baby." He smiled and leaned down giving her a small kiss on the lips before grabbing his keys and walking with her hand and hand to the door "He's a big boy he can wait." he smirked saying this as he closed the door behind them.

As they walked to the car Nikki spoke up "John.." she sighed "Im worried that this girl is just a rebound to Randy."

John sighed and stopped right in front of the Bentley, turning to face Nikki "Baby, didn't we say we were not going to bring this up?"

Nikki ran a hand through her straitened brown locks and placed a hand on her hip "Yes but this is ridiculous, just three weeks ago he confessed that he was in love with Kayla and then a week later he starts up a relationship?"

John nodded his head "I know it does seem like this girl is a rebound but what are we going to do, we can't tell Randy what to do and what not to do."

Nikki stayed quiet with that. John was right, Randy had every right to get through this rough patch in which ever way he saw fit but she just couldn't understand it, why not try harder to fight for Kayla instead of getting into a relationship with a new girl, one who he barley knew.

As Nikki stayed quiet John took that as a sign that he had won this argument. He sighed and kissed the top of her head lovingly and opened the car door for her "Come on, We don't want to be late."

Nikki took a couple steps closer and put her left foot in the passenger side of the car and just as she was about to sit, she didn't. She looked over at John again and shook her head, thoughts still consuming her "One more thing…" she paused and looked her strait in the eyes "You know this won't be good for Kayla when she finds out. How does it look that Randy could never commit to her and give her the title of being his girlfriend but yet to this new girl he right away hands her that title?"

John placed his hand on the frame of the passenger door and shook his head at all the thoughts that consumed Nikki "This might just be his way of getting back at Kayla or so he thinks, he might just be trying to add fuel to the fire."

Nikki bit her lip "Yeah well…" she took a pause and finally took a seat in the car "Its going to work." She mumbled.

Once John and Nikki arrived at the club, Nikki walked to the bar and ordered her and John booths drinks while John put in a call to Randy to see where he was. Just as she picked up both drink from the bar she saw John walking towards her, he placed one hand on the small of her back and spoke close to her ear so she could hear him over the music "He said they were more towards the back."

Nikki just sighed and leaned up speaking back into her boyfriends ear "I just want to get this night over with, I don't understand why Randy wants us so badly to meet her and today of all days."

John just shook his head, he had no response for Nikki, he just let her go on thinking her thoughts as he led her towards the back end of the club where they quickly spotted Randy. He was sitting in a both, whispering into who they assumed was his new girlfriends ear and his left hand resting on her thigh.

As they got closer to the back club, Nikki took in his new girlfriend, she was on the taller side, about 5'7", dark blonde hair, curvy figure, big boobs of course, Nikki rolled her eyes at that, Blue eyes, and a somewhat pretty face but she would let it be know for the record that Kayla was much more gorgeous than her. She didn't want to be too quick to judge this girl but she couldn't help it, it was instinct.

"Damn, finally you guys made it!" Randy let out a small laugh and walked up to greet John and Nikki.

Nikki licked her lips and had attitude showing all over her facial features "Mhmm, but its seems like you were keeping yourself busy…" she nodded looking over at the girl which now stood up from the booth.

John nudged Nikki softly on the waist and mumbled in her ear "Be nice."

Randy smirked and looked back to see his new girlfriend slowly following behind him to meet the two. "Oh right." Randy smiled and grabbed her hand leading her the rest of the way to stand right next to him "Guys this is Kimberly." he introduced and then looked at his girlfriend "Kim these are two of my friends and co-workers John and Nikki."

John shook her hand and she did his and when Kim held out her hand to Nikki, Nikki refused she just plastered a fake smile on her face and cleared her throat "Hi."

John sent her a glare and she sighed and looked back over at the blonde known at Kimberly and smiled again "Nice to meet you."

Randy cut in between the small talk conversation "Come on, I have a bottle of champagne with our names on it." he stated taking Kim`s hand in his walking back over to the booth they sat in previously. John gave Nikki a cautious look for her to be nice the rest of the night and she just rolled her eyes with a soft nod, they then made their way over to the same booth that Randy and Kim sat in.

Ugh!" Nikki exclaimed throwing her clutch onto the couch in the living room and soon after kicking off her loubuiton heels.

John followed right behind with a shake of the head "Oh come on, she was nice."

Nikki crossed her arms in front of her chest and faced John with a glare "Nice?"

John shrugged his shoulders "Nikki, you cannot sit there and tell me she was a bitch or stupid or fake."

Nikki sighed and just tapped her foot on the tiled floors "No." she stated defeated "But that doesn't mean that she's the one for Randy."

"Who the hell said anything about her being the one?" John laughed softly and took a seat on the couch.

Nikki followed him on the couch and groaned in frustration "Nobody but I just have a bad feeling about this relationship."

John gave a soft shrug "Well I don't feel good about it either but Randy is my best friend and your friend so we need to respect that."

"And Kayla? She's my best friend and your friend as well I might add." Nikki shot back upset that he wasn't seeing things from Kayla's perspective.

John nodded his head and leaned his elbows against his knees "Yes I know, and Yes I do feel bad for her and I wish I could change things for the both of them." he stated "But you have to admit this isn't solely Randy's fault this is also Kayla's fault for first not telling him she's pregnant, and second for not trying to explain or fix things after he found out she was pregnant but thought it was Dwayne's."

Nikki sighed defeated, he was right and there was nothing she could say to contradict that "God I know! I just wish I could make them sit down together and let out everything, their feelings, their emotions and the truth!" She exclaimed.

John smiled at his girlfriends sincere intents "I know baby but they are both two stubborn bulls."

Nikki smiled softly at that comment and laid her head on John shoulder. He smiled at the gesture and laid back on the couch, allowing her to fall back with him and lay her head on his chest. He kissed the top of her head and laughed softly "You really need to stop playing matchmaker, its making you way too unbearable."

Nikki let out a small gasp as a big smile formed on her lips, she grabbed a pillow from her right side and smacked John square in the face with it for the comment he just made.

Kayla closed the fridge with her water bottle in one hand and an apple in the other, even though she was pregnant, she wasn't by any means trying to make that an excuse to binge eat junk food, she wanted to eat healthy in order to help her get her pre-pregnancy body back quicker, well that and because healthy food was always better for the baby.

She walked over to her living room and grabbed the remote flipping on the TV right away to the channel where Monday Night Raw would be aired, even though she wasn't working she couldn't keep away from her job and she loved watching the matches to support all her friends. The one thing she could honestly say she didn't like about watching the shows was when Randy appeared on TV, it just made her heart pound and her body form goosebumps. She loved him so much and yet she hated the fact that she could never confess to him that she was having his baby. It still hurt her that look in his eye that he gave her a few weeks ago when he found out she was pregnant at the restaurant, but there was nothing she could do now. As of this moment she wouldn't be surprised if Randy Orton ever wanted to see her again.

She sat back on the couch and relaxed into the leather and dropped a blanket over her body. She decided on giving Nikki a call before RAW aired, she wanted to talk to her, she hadn't gotten a chance in the past couple days.

She rubbed her big, growing baby bump and she put the phone to her ear waiting for Nikki to answer.

"Hey Kay!" Nikki answered excitedly

Kayla just laughed at her excitement "Well hello to you to best friend, where have you been these past few days?"

Nikki just groaned "Oh I had so much on my plate, I had meet and greets and then me and Brie had a photo shoot, Oh and to top it all off last night me and John had to go and meet Randy and his new girlfriend Kim at this club in Tampa!" she exclaimed, unaware of the fact she just blurted out that Randy had a girlfriend to the one person she didn't want to say a thing to.

Kayla almost choked on her water "W-What?" she stuttered in a whisper

Nikki raised a brow confused by her response when she then realized what she had done. She put a hand over her mouth as she gasped, soon after she smacked herself in the forehead for being so stupid "Kayla, Hunnie, I'm so sorry you weren't supposed-"

"Randy has a girlfriend?" She questioned her voice still barley above a whisper

Nikki bit her lower lip and wanted to smack herself over and over again for not being more careful with her tongue "Yes but Kayla listen-"

Kayla cut her off again "Like he actually has given her that title? Girlfriend?"

Nikki just hit her back against the cold brick wall of the arena "Yes." she whispered

Kayla felt a huge lump forming in her throat making it hard for her to speak , she cleared her throat and continued "Uhm, How long have they been-"

This time is was Nikki's turn to cut her off mid-sentence "Like two weeks, give or take a couple days."

Kayla nodded her head and felt tears coming on "Huh…" she paused for a moment "And you were going to tell me when?"

Nikki sighed and closed her eyes shut, worried that she would ask her that question, she answered reluctantly "Hunnie, I just didn't want to hurt you, I didn't want to be the one to bring you the bad news."

"Bad news?" Kayla stated a little louder than expected. She gave a harsh and amused laugh as she furiously wiped away the tears that made their way down her cheek "No No Not at all this is fucking amazing news-"

"Kayla…" Nikki tried to cut in.

"I mean when we were together and I spoke with him dozens of times about being committed to each other and being in a relationship he couldn't do it but now he finally found the strength to do it! Thats great!" she exclaimed, sarcasm and anger dripping from her voice.

"Kay, listen me and John just think this is a re-"

Kayla shook her head and groaned "Nikki, do not say rebound, I don't want to hear it because rebound implies that he and I actually had some type of relationship, and we didn't, it was just sex." She stated furiously.

Nikki sighed frustrated that her best friend was going through all these emotions and pregnant "Kayla! Listen to me! You and I both know you guys were more than just sex, whether Randy wants to admit it to you or not!" she exclaimed.

Just as Kayla was about to reply she felt a huge life jolting pain run from the back of her spin to her belly. She gave a loud yelp causing her to lift strait up off the couch. "Ahhh!" she screamed again feeling the pain get worse.

Nikki stopped sea in her tracks and got a frantic look on her face "Kayla?! Kayla?! Whats happening?! Are you ok?!"

Kayla felt the pain keep coming and instinctively dropped the phone and held onto her belly. She couldn't answer Nikki at all at the moment. Nikki was so scared and confused she had no idea what was happening and just as she was about to call out for Kayla through the phone again, she sees John rounding the corner and approaching her.

John saw the look on Nikki's face and got a worried expression on his "Nik, Whats going on, you look scared."

Nikki sighed and stopped her foot "Its Kayla, I was on the phone talking with her and next thing I know she's screaming and I can't get her to answer me now."

John grabbed the phone from Nikki`s hand and spoke into it "Kayla!?"

Kayla felt the pain subside some, but knew there was more coming, she could feel it, she reached to the floor slowly and picked up her phone, this time she could hear Johns voice screaming through the phone. "John?" she questioned softly.

"Kayla what the hell happened?!"

Kayla looked down at her belly and groaned "The baby, I think I just had a contraction!"

John looked over at Nikki with a shocked look on his face and handed her his phone "Here, call 911, tell them Kayla is in labor and needs an ambulance."

Nikki matched his shocked look but obeyed what he said and began to call. John turned his attention back to Kayla on the phone "Kay, listen we are calling an ambulance for you right now, please just hang in there!"
