Like all wounds, time began to heal the demons of Hell from the plague of heretic angels and the loss of so many loved ones. As the human Renaissance went into high gear, the demons of Hell had their own Renaissance and rebuilt their home better than it was before. Within 300 years, the kingdom of Hell was back to its former glory. Demons celebrated through the streets, but not just for the rebuilding of their home. Malphas and Aurora now had a child, a little boy named Logan. He looked very much like his father with the exception of his eyes. They were a deep greenish blue, inherited from both his mother and his father. He was a rambunctious child with a big heart and a caring soul. Malphas liked to think that he was very similar to himself and his brothers when they were young. Both he and Aurora couldn't be happier with how their life had turned out. With the addition of their second child, a baby girl named Melody, it seemed like nothing could make their lives better.

"Logan, sweetie, where are you?" Aurora asked, playing hide-and-seek with the toddler. She followed the smell of her son's soul to under the dining room table. Aurora chuckled under her breath. "Hm, I guess I can't find him. I'll have to give his special snack to Calypso." As she expected, she heard a small gasp and turned seeing her son peek out from the table with a pout.

"Nooo, mama", Logan said as he went over and held onto his mother's skirt, "I want it….hey you tricked me" Aurora laughed a little then picked Logan up.

"Yes I did but you know I would never willingly give extra sugar to your Aunt Calypso." Aurora reassured. "She's too hyper already." Logan nodded in agreement having been on the receiving end of his aunt's sugar rush before.

"Yeah she is", he said snuggling his head into her shoulder. Aurora gently ran her fingers through Logan's hair.

"Come on, let's go check on your baby sister then you can have your special snack." Aurora replied, carrying Logan to Melody's room. What the demoness did not know is that the infant had woken from her nap early and was taken out of her room by Calypso. The said demoness was dressing her young niece in various frilly outfits and adorable onesies and taking pictures of her in each outfit. Though she has been told numerous times by her family that "she wasn't a doll", she just couldn't help herself. She thought her little niece looked so cute. Melody however wasn't happy about all the dress up and began to squirm in Callie's arms. Callie noticed and looked down to the small baby.

"Aww its ok its ok", she tried to reassure, "just one more outfit and then your aaaaaalll done ok". Melody continued to struggle against her aunt, letting out a loud cry. Callie was startled by the loud cry and tried her calm her down. The cries could be heard from all throughout the castle. Upon hearing this, Malphas quickly ran to his sister's room with worry in his heart. Once he saw what was going on, he simply let out a sigh seeing that his sister was dressing up his daughter once again.

"Calypso", he said with a sigh of annoyance grabbing his daughter from his sister, "how many times have we told you this. Melody is not a toy. I thought would have learned your lesson after what you did to Logan".

"Ah come on he looked so cute as a little ol' sailor". Malphas simply glared at his sister as he rocked Melody and rubbed her back to calm her. Melody began to calm down, snuggling up to Malphas and cooing in content. Malphas smiled happy to see his daughter calm down.

"We'll discuss your punishment later Calypso", he said to his sister before looking back to his daughter, "now let's get you in some more comfortable clothes". He walked to Melody's room and quickly changed her into a more comfortable outfit fit for a baby. Feeling better, Melody reached up to her father, making cute noises. By this time, Aurora and Logan had made it into the room. Aurora smiled seeing her little daughter happy and awake.

"Aww she loves you Malphas," Aurora commented. "Such a little daddy's girl." Malphas turned to his mate with a smile on his face as he picked up his daughter.

"So it appears". Malphas walked over to his mate and kissed her cheek and then looked down to his son. "How was hide-n-seek?"

"It was fun, mama is a really good seeker", Logan replied happily. He looked over to his little sister and gave her a smile. "Hi Mel Mel". Melody looked over to Logan and squealed in delight then reached out to her big brother. Aurora smiled and held both her children, happy that they got along so well. Melody pat Logan's cheek gently, hoping to make him laugh. Logan let out a small laugh at his siblings cuteness.

"You're a silly baby", Logan said as he pet Melody's head. Melody smiled and leaned into Logan's touch, hugging him. Aurora smiled seeing this and kissed both their heads.

"You two are so adorable." she commented. Logan pouted a bit at the statement.

"I'm not cute, I'm super tough", he stated as he flexed his arms. Sebastian smiled and chuckled at his son's cuteness and ruffled his hair.

"Indeed you are", he told him.

"You can be cute and tough, like your father." Aurora replied, kissing Malphas' cheek. Sebastian smiled a bit and gently kissed Aurora's lips. Logan simply covered his eyes at his parents affection.

"Eeewww!"

Melody, noticing her brother's reaction, covered her eyes too. The two demons laughed at their children's reactions.

"One day you may like kissing Logan." Aurora told her son. "You like the kisses we give you, right?" Logan nodded to his mother's question.

"Yeah, I like those kisses".

"Good, cause you're going to get a whole bunch." Aurora replied, kissing Logan's forehead and cheeks. Logan let out a laugh, liking it. "And don't worry, I won't leave you out Melody." Aurora continued, kissing her daughter's forehead and cheeks. Melody smiled and let out a squeal of delight. Sebastian smiled and kissed his children's foreheads as well. The happy family moment was soon interrupted by the arrival of one of the servants.

"Princess Flora has requested your Highnesses' presence in the garden" the servant replied then left.

"Huh, I wonder want Flora wants." Aurora thought aloud, handing Melody over to Sebastian as they made their way to the royal garden. The moment the family stepped out of the castle, Aurora and Malphas went wide-eyed at what they saw.

Not only did they see Flora, but they also saw her mate Balam...alive and uninjured. How was this even possible? Balam was killed by a major blow from an angel's sword. No demon had ever survived such a thing and Malphas had seen his brother's dead body. So the only thing that he didn't understand was how? How did he survive? And how long has he been alive for? Many questions and emotions swirled through Malphas, his eyes never leaving his brother.

Sensing the others, Balam turned toward the couple and made his way toward them. Once he was in front of the two he smiled both sadly and guiltily.

"Hey...I'm...I'm not dead…"

"W-What the Hell Balam?!" Aurora shouted. Aurora was relieved that Balam was alive of course, but she was angry that he put them and their family through so much heartbreak. Melody, getting scared seeing her mother angry, let out a small whine of fear and buried her face in Malphas' shoulder. Malphas rubbed his daughter's back to calm her down and Logan hide behind his father getting a bit scared. Balam looked to the children curious but decided that he will ask about it later.

"I know that you're both confused and probably have a lot of questions", Balam started, "But please let me say this. I-I'm sorry...I'm so so sorry I know I should have come home as soon as I was healed. I was selfish and only cared for myself. I didn't mean to hurt you...any of you. And I understand if you don't forgive me". Malphas stayed quiet trying to process everything. After a few minutes he finally spoke.

"How?"

"..."

"How did you survive...your body was torn apart. A-and we buried...how did you survive?"

"Oh yes that", Balam realized, "well you remember my old reaper friend yes?"

"The Undertaker?"

"Yes well you see", Balam soon began his explanation of how the old reaper recovered the body and revived it physically and with its soul intact. He also explained that he hadn't awoken until the mid-1600s and decided to venture in the human realm for a couple of years right before Flora had found him. He also expressed how much he had missed his family and how guilty he felt not telling that that he was alive and well again. Once he was finished with his tale he waited for Aurora or Malphas to reply.

Before either of them could reply, a small head peaked out from behind Flora's skirt. A little boy, no older than Logan with spiky black hair with lavender tips and pale blue eyes.

"Is it okay now Mama?" the boy asked.

"Yes, Luka. It's alright now." Flora replied, picking her son up. Aurora and Malphas went wide-eyed in shock seeing Luka. Logan peaked from Malphas' legs and looked at the other boy curiously.

"Who are you?"

"Who are you?", the boy; Luka, asked.

"I'm Logan".

"I'm Luka, it's nice to meet you". Malphas looked back to his now revived brother.

"You have a son?" Ben smiled down to Luka and ruffled his hair affectionately.

"Yeah, and I can see that you and Aurora have been busy with your own family as well."

Melody, calming down, picked her head up and looked down at Luka in curiosity.

"Yes . .This is our son Logan and our daughter Melody." Aurora explained. Melody smiled and waved hi, happy to meet two new people. Balam smiled and waved to Melody. Luka went over to Logan and went over to the other.

"Can I feel your face?" Logan cocked his head in confusion.

"Hmm?"

"Can I feel your face...I'm blind but my papa used his magic to help me see color and shapes, but not details".

"Oooooh, ok", Logan leaned his face towards Luka, and Luka gently felt Logan's face to get an idea of what the boy looked like. Melody became curious of what Luka was doing and reached out to Logan. Malphas noticed this and kneeled to the boys' level.

"Mel Mel, you wanna meet Luka?" Logan asked, going to his sister. Melody gently pat Logan's cheek as her way to say "yes". Logan laughed a bit and guided Luka toward his sister. Luka gently placed his hands on Melody's face and started to get a feel of what she looked like. Melody smiled at the feeling and placed her hands on Luka's cheeks, squishing them into a fish face. She giggled, thinking he looked silly. Luka and Logan laughed at Melody's cuteness.

"Aww she likes you", Logan told Luka, making him smile more. Ben and Malphas smiled happy that their children were all getting along and having fun.

"They're so cute", Balam muttered. Malphas nodded in agreement. He looked to his elder brother and his brother looked to him.

"Balam...I'm sorry..", Malphas started gaining a confused look from Balam, "for what I said and did. I didn't mean to yell at you and to say all of those hateful things. I didn't mean any of it. I...I was just...angry. Which is funny because I shouldn't have been angry in the first place. I was actually jealous".

"Jealous? Why?"

"Because...you were always with Flora and I felt like I was losing a brother..I know it's silly and childish, but I don't know I just felt hurt. I know I had Aurora, but you're my brother...and-". Malphas' speech was stopped by Balam's hug. He was shocked but hugged his brother back nonetheless.

"It's ok. I forgave you many years ago. I'm sorry too". Malphas didn't say anything and snuggled in more into the hug having missed his brother's touch and embrace. Aurora and Flora smiled seeing them embrace, happy that their family was whole again.
