Chapter 29

Kayla laughed at Johns comment made, the whole group followed behind her laughing as well. They were having such a good morning, much better than Kayla thought this morning was going to turn out. Everyone had either coffee or water in front of them as screams of laughter and shouting of stories were told throughout the table. Kayla shook her head with a big smile forming on her pink lips. She looked over at Randy who was cutting Jacobs pancakes into bit size pieces, Randy felt her eyes on him and looked up at her matching her smile, while Jacob's reached out with his hand for a piece of pancake. Her eyes made their way around the restaurants table and she noticed John kissing Nikki`s forehead after he made a joke about her, her face turned into a pout, and lastly she noticed Brie and Brian one of the sweetest couples at the table, Brie watched her husband as he told the table of friends a story and she munched on her omelet. Kayla was so interested in watching her friends enjoy their time together, so happy that everyone was so in sync with each other, that she couldn't hear Brie speaking to her, until he repeated her question again.

Kayla shook her head from her thoughts and smiled over at Brie "Im sorry I was in a daze what did you say?" she apologized taking a sip of her steaming coffee.

"I was asking what do you think is the next step for you and Randy?" She gave a sly smile.

Kayla immediately blushed and gave a bit of a hesitant pause looking over at Randy, he just smirked, watching as she hesitated and just as Randy was about to speak up and answer Bries question for her, John cut in "Come on, lets have them discuss that between themselves."

Randy leaned back in his chair "No, No its alright…" he paused leaned over Jacob slightly to grab her hand under the table "Its all up to Kayla, I would love to start a relationship with her and my son…" he paused and looked at her giving that same smirk as always "The balls in her court."

Kayla looked down slightly embarrassed by being put on the spot. Nikki soon butted in "I think these two need some time alone, with Jacob."

Brie smiled widely "I think thats a great idea !" she then looked over at Randy "You know there a park not even a mile down the road, Randy."

John looked over at his firmed and gave a soft chuckle "I think thats your cue man."

Randy looked over at Kayla with a smile and nodded his head towards the door "Want to go take a walk?" he asked

Kayla bit her lower lip, still a bit embarrassed by being put on the spot by everyone but she figured she should take her chance now. She gave Randy a response by nodding her head and lifting up from her seat. Jacob was practically finished with his breakfast as well, so Kayla pushed his plate to the side, unbuckled him from the high chair and lifted him into her arms, setting him on her hip. She looked up and her eyes met with Randy's blue ones, he took her free hand in his and laced his fingers with hers. "Ready?" he questioned.

"As ill ever be." she gave a soft giggle and looked around the table, to see all her friends watching her and Randy walk out hand and hand from the restaurant.

"Play nice!" John shouted with a smirk.

"Don't do anything I wouldn't do." Nikki followed.

Brie looked over at Nikki and raised a brow "Thats not a lot…"

Nikki gave her twin a glare when she heard John voice in her ear "Yeah besides they have Jacob with them."

Nikki groaned frustrated "I was joking guys! Damn!" She shook her head taking a sip of her coffee, the 3 others just watched her reaction with a laugh.

While the group of Nikki, John, Brie, and Brian still sat and spent time together at the table, finishing up their breakfasts, Kayla and Randy were already parked up at the park and walking through the cement covered path, the trees falling over them providing them shade and occasionally bike riders and runners passing them by.

Randy was the first to speak up "Its been so long since I just took a walk and relaxed." he let out a soft chuckle.

Kayla looked over at him watching the scenery and smiled "Jacob loves coming for the slides." She looked down at the small little boy walking sep by step in front of her.

Randy smiled looking down at his son as well and in one swift motion, picked him up by the waist putting the 14 month old over his shoulders, behind his neck, Jacobs giggled and held on to his dads neck. Kayla laughed at the display and stood on her tip pie toes, leaning up to kiss his cheek, as she did she grazed her lips toward his ear "He already loves you." she whispered

Randy's gaze fell onto hers and he leaned over paling a soft kiss on her lips "Its not hard to love me." he winked

Kayla just rolled her yes and gave a soft laugh. Just as she was about to make her own comment she heard Jacobs voice "Mommy!" he shouted

Kayla looked up at him on Randy's shoulders and saw him pointing towards the swings. Kayla laughed "You want to go on the swings?" she saw him nod his head and Randy gently took him down off his shoulder placing him on the ground. They both saw him run, a little wobbly still, towards the swing set. Kayla and Randy both laughed and Kayla shouted behind him "Jacob wait for us!"

Within a few seconds they were by the swings and Kayla was placing Jacob on one, she went behind him and whispered in his ear "Ready."

He nodded with a big smile on his face and she pulled the swing back and pushed it forward letting it swing in the air. She pushed on his back once he came back down to her, this time a little harder so he would go higher. Randy stood next to her, watching her, leaning against the metal rods of the swing set. She felt his eyes on her and looked over at him with an innocent smile. "What?"

"Your beautiful…" he commented

She let her head fall and felt her cheek heat up with blush, just as she was about to open her mouth to comment, she felt two strong arm slither around her waist and soft lips graze against her ear, the heat from his mouth breathing on her "And an amazing mom."

She leaned her head back a little bit to look at him, his blue eyes met with her hazel ones, she leaned in slowly and kissed his lips and just as she was about to deepen the kiss she heard "Mommy!"

She pulled away with a laugh, seeing Jacob looking up at her and the swing stopped "More!" he shouted

Kayla giggled "Sorry buddy." she apologized and began to push the swing up again.

Randy's arms still rested around Kayla's waist as he watched her push their son on the swing "I really do love you Kayla…" he paused "And I love Jacob, I let you slip through my fingers once and I'm not going to let that happen again."

She felt her heart race and her breath catch in her throat as Randy said these words to her, for so long she had been wanting for him to say words of the nature to her, she had been longing for him to hold her in public like he was now, and he was doing it, it felt all so surreal, like a dream. Kayla gave Jacob a slightly harder push to go higher and leaned back in Randy's arm, looking up at him with a smile "I hope so, because I don't think I could bare loosing you a second time." She confessed above a whisper.

Kayla turned her face to the swing again and gave Jacob another push before Randy spun her around in his arms for her to be facing him completely, he gazed down into her eyes filled with love and hope "Believe me baby, I won't fuck up again, Its risking too much, I just need you to give me that second chance."

Kayla's eyes danced with his, she was searching him she wanted to know these emotions and these words he was saying were true, and she didn't once feel as if he was lying to her and she prayed to god that he wasn't because her dream was finally coming true and she couldn't bare losing it. Before answering him, she turned around slightly and looked over at Jacob who was attempting pushing himself on the swing to go higher, she smiled brightly at her son, their son, and then looked back at Randy "This is your second chance, Do you take it?"she question playfully.

He smiled and looked up and over at their son as well and then back down at her, he leaned down teasing her lips, rubbing his against hers, he parted his mouth just as she parted hers and kissed her deeply, her hands found their way around his neck and she rubbed her fingers over the nape of his neck, causing him to give off a soft moan. He pulled away slowly, leaning his forehead against her "Absolutely I do."

"Eww" Jacob laughed as he watched both Randy and Kayla share a kiss. Both the parents turned to see their son stopped on the swing, his face turned to them. They laughed and ran towards him on the swing attacking him with tickles. Jacobs laughed and shifted and squirmed as his mom and dad tickled him, Kayla lifted him off the swing placing him on her hip and asked "You having fun baby?"

Jacob nodded with a smile, looking up at his dad and then toward his mom "Mhmm!"

"How about we go back to the restaurant to meet up with the group again?" Randy questioned looking at his newly praised girlfriend and their son "We might even be able to have a few more pancakes" he whispered to Jacob.

Kayla laughed as she saw the little boys face light up and he nodded his head furiously. Kayla reached out for Randys hand and intertwined her fingers with his "Are you still ok on time for your flight?" she questioned.

Randy's looked down at the Rolex that accessorized his wrist and nodded "Oh yeah, a couple more hours before I have to get heading over to the airport."

She nodded as the walked back towards the entrance of the park on the cement covered path. "I was thinking maybe we can go say goodbye to you at the airport? Our flights are almost at the same time, I could just wait there with Jacob the rest of the time."

Randy looked down at her giving a small smirk "Not ready for me to leave yet huh?"

Kayla bit her lower lip, she had to admit it, they just renewed their relationship and he had to go back on the road in a couple hours "Maybe…" she teased with a smile.

He gave her hand a slight squeeze and rubbed her thumb over her knuckles "To be honest, Im not ready to leave you either but I was thinking about something earlier…"

Kayla tilted her head to the side, intrigued "Tell me…" she encouraged

"I get some time off in a couple weeks and I was wondering.." he paused to rephrase his sentence "Well hoping that you would want to come down to Missouri and you and Jacob could spend the week with me."

Kayla smiled brightly at his offer, she thought of how great it would be for both her and Jacob to spend a week with Randy, Jacob would really get used to him and finally recognize him as daddy. "That sounds perfect Randy."

"Good." he smiled "Cause I can't wait to take this little handsome boy everywhere!" he commented grabbing his son from Kayla arms and holding him in his own.

Kayla smirked and decided to tie him a small tease, she leaned up and whispered into his ear, so only he could hear "Oh yeah? Where you going to take me?"

Randy licked his lips and smirked down at his girlfriend, he was happy to finally see her playing games with him and not only that he was finally happy to have her all to himself and not be worried about commitment, just be happy with his life with her and his son. He leaned down brushing his lips against her ear, sending shivers down her spin in the process, he whispered "Ill take you on the bed, on the floor, on the kitchen counter, wherever I can get my hands on you baby."

He cheeks turned bright pink and she gasped hitting his arm lightly "Inappropriate much ?"

He smirked at her playfulness "You asked for it." he threw his one free hand up in defense.

"I can ask for many more things, ya know." She smirked still teasing.

Randy let out a laugh shaking his head "So you continue doing it…" he paused and gave her his signature smirk again "Your getting good at that you know."

"I was always good.." she smirked looking up at him through the corner of her eye to see his reaction "You just seemed to forget."

He smirked and watched her watch him "Oh I didn't forget baby…"

Kayla looked up at him, turning her head completely towards him and saw that Jacob had fallen asleep on his shoulder, she gave a node towards the sleeping child and laughed softly "Looks like someone is tuckered out."

Randy looked down at his son sleeping on his shoulder and smiled, he was finally feeling like a dad and there was no other feeling like it, it felt amazing to be carrying his son and protecting him. The fact that Jacob felt safe enough to fall asleep on him, says a lot. Looking down at Kayla he noticed she was just quietly taking in the scenery and still holding on to his one free hand. He felt so happy at this moment and not at all scared, he was always scared of commitment or afraid to be in it but with Kayla everything seemed right and she was the one who changed his perspective on everything, it just took him awhile to figure all that out.

Two Weeks Later: Monday Night

Kayla squatted down and picked up the last toy that Jacob had laid across the living room floor, for some reason Jacob was super excited tonight and refused to go to bed. Kayla knew he was tired but he just kept roaming through the living room of the huge house. Kayla lifted from her squatting position and threw the toy in an empty bin on the left hand corner of the couch that held all the rest of Jacobs toys he decided to bring along with him. She sighed and blew a strand of hair away from her face and in the process throwing her hair into a messy ponytail.

"Jacob, come on sweetie, It really time for bed now..." she called to the 14 month old who was climbing on top of the L-shaped leather couch.

Jacob just smiled brightly and plopped himself into a sitting position on the couch "Raw!"

Kayla raised a brow and thought to herself 'Since when is he able to say Raw?', she groaned and walked over to her little boy, kneeling in front of him "Sweetie wrestling is going to be on too late for you to watch."

Jacobs smile faded and his blue orbs just stared sadly into his moms eyes. He knew exactly how to get her and she knew what he was doing but she couldn't help and feel herself want to cave into that face, she bit her lower lip thinking about maybe letting him stay up for an extra half hour, he might just fall asleep as soon as raw starts. "Okay..." she began and sat next to him on the couch "We watch a little bit of Raw together and then its bedtime, Understand?"

Jacob nodded with a smile as Kayla grabbed the remote to turn on the tv, it took here a little bit because the TV system Randy had was so new and Hi-Tech it boggled her mind how he ever worked it, once she got it on she changed the channel to USA network and ruffled her sons hair, who now had a smile on his face and had his eyes focused on the TV set.

Kayla lifted herself off the couch and couldn't help but laugh at the image in front of her. She left him to watch on the couch and proceeded to walk to the kitchen to make his bottle for bedtime. She dug into her diaper bag and pulled out the can of formula and his Dr. Browns bottle and proceeded to mix the formula, just as she was shaking it up she felt a pair of strong arms wrap around her and a set of soft lips kiss the curve of her neck, she smiled softly and looked down at the tattoos that covered his arms, she put the bottle down and lightly placed her arms on top of his. "Hey Angel"

Kayla turned around in his arms and was met with beautiful blue eyes staring back at her, as she roamed his body she noticed his arms were still humid from probably just finishing up a shower, she bit her lip as her eyes traveled up his chest which was covered in a white wife-beater, she locked her eyes with his once again "Finish your workout already baby?"

Randy smirked as he noticed her eyes traveling all over his body "Yeah, finished my shower too." he whispered leaning down closer to her.

"Mmm, wish I could have joined you..." she purred

"Why didn't you?" he asked mumbling against her lips

She smiled and let out a tired sigh, as she looked over to the living room "Jacob is still awake..."

Randy looked up at the clock in the kitchen "Its 5 minutes to 9, what is he still doing up?"

Kayla raised a brow and smiled at his parenting kicking in "I tried but hes just too excited for some reason and he insisted on wanting to watch Raw."

Randy gave a soft chuckle "He already knows what Raw is?"

"Apparently!" Kayla giggled turning around in Randy's arms and grabbing the bottle off the center aisle in the kitchen "I'm going to give him a bottle while we watch and hopefully he knocks out within the next 5 minutes."

Randy smiled and watched as she grabbed the bottle and headed towards the living room and he followed right behind her. Kayla took a seat right next to Jacob and Randy sat right next to Kayla, Kayla looked up at the TV and noticed Raw was just starting. She looked down at Jacob "Ok hunnie, just a little bit of Raw and then its bedtime okay?"

For some reason Jacob looked over at Randy with soft pleading eyes and Kayla couldn't help but giggle softly, she turned her head looking over at Randy "Hes giving you the eyes."

Randy looked down at Jacob "No buddy, when Mom says its bedtime, its bedtime." he stated trying to be as firm as possible.

Jacob just looked down, seeming sad almost. Randy noticed and sighed knowing he was about to give in "Okay..." he reached over and grabbed Jacob from Kayla's lap, sitting him on his own "Maybe a little longer.."

Kayla raised a brow and shook her head at how Randy was falling for his act "Randy Orton, turning into a puddle of goo." she smirked and handed Jacob his nighttime bottle as he began drinking and watching the show.

Randy just shook his head with a laugh and laid back on the couch while Jacob laid on his chest, sitting in his lap. Kayla watched the two most important men in her life sitting right next to her and smiled, she couldn't be more happy and she was more than excited to be spending the week with Randy. Randy and Jacob were going to bond so much more and she was going to be able to renew her relationship with Randy on a better level. She lifted Randy's arm and snuggled into his chest, letting his arm fall down around her waist. Randy looked down at her with a soft smile as he kissed the top of her forehead and the two of them turned their attention to the TV.

That Same Week: Friday Night

Randy had just closed the front door behind him as he followed Kayla into the house. He rubbed Jacobs back as he heard his light snores. "Man he is done."

Kayla laughed softly and looked back at her boyfriend, she watched as Jacob stirred lightly on his shoulder "Yeah he had a long day!" she commented and walked over to Randy, kissing the sleeping little boys leg twice. "Maybe you should go put him to bed baby."

Randy nodded "Yeah I am..." He kicked off his shoes leaving them by the hallway closet "Ill be right down babe."

Kayla nodded with a smile and watched as he carried the little boy up the stairs. She began to make her way into the kitchen to grab a bottle of water but just as she was about to open the refrigerator, she heard her phone going off. She quickly ran to her Michael Kors diaper bag, looking at the caller ID, when the name flashed on the screen, she smiled and was happy to pick up the call.

"Mr. Johnson! So you do live?" Kayla laughed at her own joke.

Dwayne just let out a soft laugh "Yeah yeah! Ive just been so busy with filming and you putting me on some of the Raw shows, I never get any free time anymore."

Kayla smirked and shook her head "Mhmm, still you should make time for your friend."

"And such a beautiful one at that right?" he smirked on the other end.

Kayla bit her lip,feeling a little uncomfortable that he was flirting with her, now that she was with Randy, it didn't feel right him saying things like that but she just swept it under the rug, that's how hes always been to her and she wasn't about to upset him. "So tell me how have you and my big man Jake been doing?"

Kayla smiled and turned to grab a water from the fridge "Oh we have been so great, We are actually spending the week at Randy's house, so we can get some time with him."

Dwayne raised a brow "Ahh, and everything is okay between you and Randy now?"

"Great Actually!" Kayla emphasized "A couple weeks ago we decided to make it official so we are in a relationship now, an actual real couple!" she laughed with excitement, still not getting over that fact.

Dwayne couldn't help but feel a little hurt, he still couldn't shake off the feelings he had left for Kayla but he was working on it and even with his scheduled he couldn't have a girlfriend right now if he tried. He wanted Kayla to be happy and seeing her this happy made him happy "Thats great beautiful, I knew he wouldn't let you slip out of his fingers, who would?"

Kayla closed the fridge with her foot and opened the water bottle, holding the phone between her cheek and shoulder "Thanks Dwayne." Just as she was about to continue her conversation with Dwayne, she heard a voice clearing his throat right behind her, as if to get her attention. She slowly turned around and saw Randy standing in the corner of the kitchen, leaning against the wall, with his arms crossed over his chest. Her eyes met with his and she managed to get her voice back "Hey Dwayne, ill talk to you later, I actually have to get going." she heard Dwayne understand and say his goodbyes to her on the other line, she said her goodbyes to him and hung up her phone, placing it on the center aisle of the kitchen. "Hey baby, he didn't wake up when you put him down did he?" for some reason she felt guilty having spoken to Dwayne, but why should she, they were friends and its not like she had any feelings for him or that anything could ever happen between them, so there is no reason she should feel guilty or no reason why Randy should get mad at this point.

Randy pushed himself off the wall and walked over to her, arms still crossed over his chest "No, hes out like a light..." he got closer to her, close enough to be able to place his hands on the top of the center aisle behind her and close her in between him and the center aisle "You were talking to Dwayne just now?" he asked, no sound of anger, no sound of hurt, no sound of sarcasm, nothing.

Kayla bit her lip looking up into his eyes, she could feel the heat between their bodies, she could smell the scent of Listerine on his breathe and the scent of Armani cologne coming from his body, the two scents combined made shivers run up and down her spin and get a tingly feeling in her stomach, whenever he was this close, she still felt weak. "Yeah..." she whispered "He just called to say Hi, and see how me and Jacob were doing."

He nodded his head as if in understanding and kept his eyes fixated on hers, as if looking into their depths. Not moving a muscle, just looking into her eyes. "He knows about us now?"

She felt him get closer, closing the small gap there was between them. She didn't dare take her gaze away from him, the feeling she was feeling right now was amazing to her, she knew where this was going he was becoming possessive and the fire in his eyes was telling her something amazing was going to happen. "Yes..." she mumbled, her voice getting lost somewhere with the feeling in the pit of her stomach.

She suddenly felt his hands grip just below her butt and in one quick motion he lifted her off the floor and onto the counter, he stood in between he legs, his height still towering over her, he leaned down, his lips barley touching hers "He knows your mine right?" he growled, passion lingering within his voice.

She swallowed the lump forming in her throat and hummed "Mhmm."

He smirked slowly, knowing the effect he had on her "Good." he whispered finally crashing his lips down on to hers, as soon as her lips felt his her arms immediately wrapped around his neck and she pulled her body closer to his, she wanted to feel the pressure of his body against hers. She felt his tongue begging for access as she opened her mouth wider and allowed his tongue to ravish moaned softly into the kiss, feeling his tongue battling hers, the kiss was passionate and rough, there was nothing sweet and soft about this situation right now. He pulled away slowly and nibbled on her bottom lip, while his hands made their way up her thighs and around her hips, to the bottom of her butt, he squeezed tightly and lifted her off the center aisle.

Kayla quickly responded wrapping her legs tightly around his waist and her arms slithered around his neck, pressing her body against his as he walked her out of the kitchen and towards the stairs. Kayla couldn't describe the amazing feeling she was feelings at the moment, all she knew was that she wanted Randy, she wanted his so bad, so bad it hurt and she needed him to just throw her down on the bed and have his way with her, she wanted to to take complete control over her body and she was going to do exactly as he said, she had so much built up passion in her right now, all she wanted was for Randy to take care of it.

Chapter 29, We are nearing the end! Kayla and Randy are finally starting to feel like a family, they finally decided to give it a chance and make things right. After all they were both in love with each other and they have a son, its what Kayla has been dreaming of. Whats in the next chapter to come? The last and final chapter of this story!
