5. Good Wulf Hunting

Danny Phantom Forever

Before you read: I wanted to put Wulf in one chapter but I wanted him to appear without Walker. So after some thought I came up with this chapter and I thought this would be the best way to put him in it. I also thought it would be good to have Valerie go on more adventures with Danny and meet more of his friends and enemies.

Good Wulf Hunting

It was a dark quiet night in Amity Park, the streets were empty as virtually everyone in town was sound asleep. But all was not peaceful on this night as a familiar face was running through the streets in fear and terror. It was Wulf, as he ran on all fours and panted heavily as he frantically hurried through Amity Park, looking around in fear. He stopped and hid in a dark alley as he glanced around to make sure there was no one else around. Then Wulf sadly looked down at his left leg and stared at a metal anklet around it with a red blinking light. Wulf chewed on the anklet as he tried to get it off him but his actions were for nought. Suddenly his ears perked up as he heard a noise and then he ran out of the alley and down the street on all fours.

He stopped when he came to an intersection and looked around as he said, "Devas eskapi!"

Suddenly his eyes widened and he turned his head as he started sniffing the air as he picked up a certain scent.

He stopped sniffing and showed fear as he looked around and said, "Ili estas proksime!"

Immediately after he said that he was hit by a blue blast of energy and knocked down to the ground, he got up to see the Guys in White flying toward him. They were riding flying devices as they came toward at high speed as they stared at him intently.

Operative O stared at Wulf as he said, "Target ghost in sight!"

Operative K kept staring at Wulf as he pointed his finger and shouted, "Capture immediately! Fire ecto-blasters!"

They fired blue beams at Wulf again but Wulf quickly pounced away and dodged them as he made a break for it. He ran for a bit before he jumped up and used his claws to climb up the side of a building until he came to the roof.

The Guys in White kept flying after him as Operative O said, "He's trying to shake us!"

Operative K remained determined as he said, "He'll have to do better than that."

He then started running and jumping across rooftops on all fours with the Guys in White still flying after him as they kept shooting. Wulf kept dodging their shots before he jumped off a rooftop and came falling toward the street, but he turned intangible while in the air and phased through the ground. The Guys in White followed him but stopped before they could crash into the street and they hovered in the air with vexed expressions.

Wulf was in the sewers as he stared up at the ceiling before turning and then he said, "Mi devas trovi miajin amikojn!"

He ran on two legs through the sewer as he set out to search for his friends so that he may seek out their help.

Back above ground K stared down at the street as he said, "We lost him!"

O looked at K as he confidently stared at a screen and said, "Don't worry! He won't get far. We've still got a lock on his signal."

They both took off as they flew back into the sky and passed over dozens of rooves as they continued searching for Wulf.

As they kept flying K glanced at O with a serious expression as he said, "We have to capture that ghost! He is the key for our plan to work!"

O stared forward with a smile on his face as he said, "We'll get him. It's only a matter of time. Operation White Claw cannot be stopped."

Opening theme

The title card showed an image of Danny and Valerie flying with Wulf as he ran on all fours, they all showed scared expressions. Danny and Valerie were looking at the Guys in White behind them as they aimed weapons at them; Danny had a ghostly tail while Valerie was flying on her hoverboard. The title card faded and an image was shown of the sun shining brightly before zooming out to reveal Tucker and Sam walking down the sidewalk.

As they walked Sam looked at Tucker with a smile as she curiously asked, "So, you got any plans for today?"

As they walked Tucker smiled with his eyes shut as he held his left palm up and pointed his thumb to the side while saying, "Well, after I finish my meeting this afternoon, Valerie and I are going to a movie."

Sam smiled teasingly as she said, "Oh, so you've got a date planned."

Tucker smiled arrogantly as he said, "Yep. It took a while but Valerie finally recognized my good looks and manly charms, and now we're a happy couple that couldn't be better."

Sam smiled as she sarcastically said, "Uh huh. Sure."

Suddenly Tucker screamed as he was tackled to the ground and Sam cried in fear as she watched everything. Tucker looked up and was shocked to see Wulf standing on top of him, staring down at him with a tense expression.

Tucker and Sam were both shocked as they simultaneously said, "Wulf?!"

Wulf turned and looked at Sam before looking back down at Tucker, who said, "What are you doing here Wulf?"

Wulf stared down at him as he frantically said, "Mi bezonas vian helpon! Ili sercas min!"

Tucker put his arms up as he said, "Whoa whoa! Calm down big guy? Who's after you?"

Wulf did not answer but turned his head as he heard a noise and then he took off running as Sam said, "Wulf wait!"

He was already gone as Tucker stood up and Sam looked at him and said, "What's going on?"

Tucker stared in the direction Wulf fled and said, "I don't know, but it sounds like Wulf's in trouble. We should tell Danny."

Wulf was running across rooftops when the Guys in White flew down with jetpacks and started firing bazookas at him. Wulf managed to dodge their blasts as he kept running before he turned around a billboard and hid.

The Guys and White kept flying as Operative K said, "He's trying to shake us again! Cut him off!"

They split up and flew around opposite sides of the billboard but stopped and hovered in place as the almost crashed into each other. They looked to the side to see Wulf standing over them as he growled and slashed his claws at both of them. He damaged their jetpacks, causing them both to fly away out of control while screaming in terror. Wulf watched them for a moment before he kept running across rooftops, O and K kept screaming as they flew out of control before falling on another rooftop.

They groaned as they got up and O showed a serious expression as he said, "This wolf ghost is really tough. This is the fifth time he's escaped us these past two days! We're going to need some help capturing this guy."

K looked at him with a serious expression as he pointed his right thumb behind him and said, "Agreed. Let's head back to HQ."

They turned and climbed down a fire escape as they slowly made their way back down to the ground since their jetpacks were damaged.

Meanwhile at Fenton Works

Danny was sitting at the kitchen table by himself as he ate some cereal for breakfast, suddenly Jack yelled, "Danny!"

Danny showed a tedious expression as he said, "Oh great!"

Danny's parents then came into the kitchen and stared at him as Jack excitedly said, "There you are! We've been looking for you. Your mom and I have something special for you."

Maddie happily put a large white sticker on the table, it looked like an "F" with lines coming from the back of it.

Danny was confused as he stared at the sticker and said, "Uh… Thanks?"

Maddie smiled as she happily explained, "It's a new logo for your suit when you go ghost."

Jack smiled proudly as he posed heroically and said, "So now, when you're out there kicking butt everyone will know that Danny Phantom is doing the Fenton family business, putting ghosts in their place!"

Danny was uncertain as he said, "But the 'D' is kind of my thing. It's my initial. Or maybe it should be 'P' for Phantom."

Jack smiled as he respectfully said, "Now Danny your mom and I are proud of what you're doing but you should really change your logo. It's less egotistical and sends a better message. Let everyone know that you're a Fenton through and through!"

Danny raised his finger to say something, but then his cellphone rang as he answered it and said, "It's Tucker. Hey Tuck. How's it… Wait what? You need what? Me and Valerie? Okay I'm coming."

He hung up, stood up, and smiled politely as he said, "Sorry mom. Sorry dad. Tucker needs my help. I gotta go. See you when I get back. I'm going ghost!"

He then transformed into his ghost form and flew out as he phased through the ceiling and flew off to see Tucker.

As he left Jack put his left hand up to his mouth as he happily shouted, "Atta boy Danny! Go and get em! We'll talk about the logo when you get back."

Maddie looked at Jack with her hands on her hips as she proudly said, "He's such a good boy."

Jack proudly smiled, then raised his finger and picked up the white "F" sticker while he said, "You got that right baby. Hey! I got an idea. Let's share our new logo idea with Danielle."

Maddie happily put her hands together as she said, "That's a great idea honey! I'm sure she'll love it! Let's go find her!"

The two parents then happily took off running as they started searching for Danielle, anxious to share their idea with her.

Later at City Hall

Danny phased into Tucker's office while Valerie flew in through an open window, and they both landed on the floor in front of Tucker's desk. Tucker was sitting in a chair at his desk with Sam standing next to him as the two of them faced Danny and Valerie.

Danny looked at Tucker as he curiously said, "Okay Tuck, we're here. What do you need?"

Valerie smiled at Tucker flirtatiously as she said, "Yeah, I hope it doesn't mess up our movie plans for later."

Tucker smiled lovingly at her before turning serious as he said, "Don't worry. I'm sure you can both get it done before then. There's a ghost in Amity Park that we need you two to find."

Danny then curiously asked, "Anyone we know?"

Tucker and Sam glanced at each other as Sam said, "Actually…"

Tucker turned a computer monitor on his desk around to where it was facing Danny and Valerie, and the monitor showed a video of Wulf running across rooftops.

Danny was shocked as he said, "Wulf?!"

Valerie was surprised as she looked at Danny as she curiously said, "You know him?"

Danny nodded as he answered, "Yeah. Wulf's a tough ghost who has the power to tear open portals between the human world and the Ghost Zone using his claws."

Valerie was impressed as she said, "Wow!"

Sam was concerned as she explained, "He came to us earlier today but then he just took off. We're not sure what's going on but it sounds bad."

Valerie had a determined smile as she said, "Don't worry! We'll find this big bad wolf and kick his butt!"

Danny, Sam, and Tucker all simultaneously shouted, "NO!"

Valerie was shocked and confused as she stared at them while Danny said, "Valerie, Wulf's not an enemy he's a friend!"

Sam showed a serious expression as she said, "Yeah! We're trying to HELP Wulf, not destroy him!"

Valerie was baffled and glared daggers as she pointed at the video of Wulf and said, "What?! You want me to help him?! Look at him! He's vicious! He's dangerous! He's a ghost!"

Danny held his hands out toward Valerie as he sincerely said, "Valerie listen, I get that you're used fighting ghosts, but Wulf's not bad. I know he looks scary and vicious but he's really not a bad guy. He's our friend."

Tucker calmly held his left palm up as he said, "Yeah Val. Wulf's cool. He's helped us out before."

Valerie had her hands on her hips as she glared at the monitor and said, "I don't trust ghosts."

Danny looked a bit offended as he glared at her and folded his arms as he said, "I'm a ghost. And so is Danielle."

Valerie's expression softened as she moved her right hand toward Danny and respectfully said, "You guys are half human, and I know you, that's how I know you're good and I trust you. But this guy isn't human at all."

Danny's expression softened as he calmly said, "I know you've got your problems with ghosts, but not all ghosts are bad. Wulf is our friend and he needs our help. Trust me."

Valerie glanced from Danny to Tucker and Sam as she looked at their pleading expressions, then she looked at the video of Wulf running across rooftops.

Valerie folded her arms as she begrudgingly said, "Fine but I don't like it."

The others smiled at her as Danny gratefully said, "Thanks Val."

Valerie then asked, "So what do we do?"

Tucker pointed at Danny and Valerie as he replied, "We need you guys to find Wulf before someone else does."

Sam had her hands on her hips as she explained, "When Wulf came to us earlier he said someone was after him, but he left without saying who. Whoever's hunting him must've been hot on his trail."

Danny was concerned as he curiously said, "Walker?"

Tucker looked uncertain as he said, "I don't think so. If Walker was behind this he'd be after you too, but we haven't seen him or his guards anywhere."

Danny looked away in thought as he said, "Yeah, you're probably right."

Valerie spoke up and suspiciously said, "Wait a minute. If someone's hunting him why doesn't he just use his claws to escape into the Ghost Zone like you said he can?"

Danny put his palms up and shrugged his shoulders and showed concern while he said, "I don't know, but if someone's hunting Wulf we have to help him!"

Tucker smiled before remembering something as he pushed a button on his PDA while he said, "Yeah! Oh, one more thing!"

After he pushed the button Valerie's suit beeped and she curiously held up her left arm as the screen in it rose and showed a series of words.

She was confused as she asked, "What's this?"

Tucker pointed at her as he answered, "Wulf speaks Esperanto. I just sent you a database to translate it into English. This will help you understand him better."

Danny showed a serious expression as his legs turned into a ghostly tail and he flew while saying, "Okay, let's get going. Come on Valerie."

Valerie jumped in the air and her hoverboard materialized beneath her feet and she flew after Danny as they left City Hall.

Meanwhile at the Guys in White's HQ

Operatives K and O were in a room typing on computers on opposite sides as they searched different things.

O was staring at a map with a blinking red light on his screen as he said, "We've still got a lock on the target ghost."

His monitor then showed a live video of Danny flying through the air and O bitterly said, "And it looks like that punk Danny Phantom is sticking his nose in our business again. If he gets in the way we might lose that ghost for good. We need someone who can capture that ghost and get rid of that teenage punk."

K stopped typing on his computer and smiled confidently as he said, "And I know exactly who to send."

Later Danny and Valerie were flying over Amity Park as they searched for Wulf but did not see any sign of him. They both flew high in the air as they glanced from side to side looking down below for any sign of a ghost nearby.

As they kept flying Valerie looked at Danny and warily said, "I still don't like this Danny."

Danny looked at her as he honestly said, "I know Valerie, but trust me, Wulf is not a bad ghost. You'll see."

Valerie glared daggers as she stared forward and said, "Okay, but if you're wrong I'm gonna…"

She was interrupted as her suit started beeping and she urgently said, "My scanners just picked something up!"

She hovered in the air as she looked at the monitor in her left forearm, and she pointed at a building and said, "He's down there!"

She and Danny both flew down and landed on the rooftop of the building, Danny held up his hand as he said, "Wulf? Are you here? Wulf?"

Just then Wulf phased up from the rooftop and then pounced on Danny, Valerie was shocked as she said, "Danny!"

She activated her right wrist cannon and demanded, "Get away from him before I-"

She stopped to see them both get up as Wulf licked Danny's face and happily said, "Friend!"

Danny wiped the drool off his face as he chuckled and said, "Yeah, it's good to see you too Wulf."

Wulf turned and looked at Valerie with a wary expression as he said, "Kiu si estas?"

Danny walked over to her and calmly said, "This is Valerie. She's a friend of mine."

Wulf kept staring at her and her wrist cannon as he bared his teeth and snarled while Valerie glared daggers at him.

Danny put his left hand on Valerie's shoulder and said, "Valerie."

She looked at him and saw his expression as he pointed his right finger at her wrist cannon; Valerie hesitated but retracted her wrist cannon as she stared at Wulf. He came over to her and Danny and then he cautiously sniffed Valerie before licking her helmet.

Valerie was shocked and a bit disgusted as she said, "Uh… Thanks. Nice to meet you too."

Danny looked at Wulf as he curiously asked, "Wulf what are you doing here?"

Wulf looked at Danny with a serious expression as he replied, "Mi estis kaptita de homoj kaj torturita. Mi eskapis sed ili sekvis min. Do mi provis trovi vin."

Valerie held up her left arm and looked at her monitor as she saw Tucker's program translate what Wulf just said.

She was surprised as she read the words and looked at Danny while saying, "He says he was captured and tortured by humans. He escaped but followed him and he came looking for you."

Danny was surprised and noticed the anklet on Wulf's leg while he said, "Humans? What's this?"

He stared at the anklet while Wulf said, "Ili metis gin sur min kiam mi estis kaptita. Gi malhelpas min uzi miajn povojn por eskapi."

Valerie stared at her screen and said, "They put that anklet on him when they captured him to keep him from using his powers to escape."

Danny immediately understood as he stared at the anklet and looked at Valerie as he said, "That's why he hasn't clawed his way into the Ghost Zone. We have to get this anklet off him."

Valerie walked over to Danny and pulled him away from Wulf as she whispered, "Danny, I'm not sure about this. I don't trust him."

Danny looked at her with sincerity as he said, "Valerie, I told you Wulf is a friend. Look at him!"

Valerie looked at Wulf and noticed how he was looking at them with a pleading expression.

Valerie looked back at Danny as she honestly said, "I'll admit he doesn't seem as bad as I thought he did, but I'm still not sure he's really good."

Danny held his hand out toward Wulf as he said, "He's being hunted and that anklet is keeping him from returning to the Ghost Zone. We have to help him!"

Valerie had a cautious expression as she said, "That's another thing. If humans are hunting him doesn't that mean he's bad?"

Danny glared at her as he put his right thumb on his chest and said, "Until my secret got out you and a bunch of other people were hunting me. Was I a bad ghost?"

Valerie thought about what he said and replied, "No. But…"

Danny put his hands on her shoulders as he pleaded, "Valerie please! Trust me!"

Valerie finally surrendered as she sighed in exasperation and said, "Fine! I'll help him. But I still don't like it."

They both walked over to Wulf as Danny said, "Okay Wulf. Let's see if we can get that anklet off of your leg."

Valerie kneeled down and looked at the anklet while she said to herself, "I can't believe I'm helping a ghost."

Suddenly Wulf started sniffing the air and then he growled and shouted, "Dangero!"

They both stared at him as Danny asked, "What?"

Suddenly they all heard a familiar voice say, "We'll huff and puff and blow you away!"

They all looked toward the other side of the rooftop to see the Masters' Blasters standing across from them.

Danny and Valerie both glared daggers at them as Danny angrily said, "Oh great! Vlad's old errand boys!"

Download smiled arrogantly as he said, "That's right Phantom! It's us!"

The three of them raised their arms as they shouted, "Masters' Blasters stop disasters!"

Danny and Valerie stood beside Wulf and kept glaring at them as Danny said, "What do you clowns want?"

Thrash pointed at Wulf and exclaimed, "We're here to bag that big bad ghost!"

Danny pointed his left thumb at Wulf as he said, "So you're the ones that put that anklet on him?"

Vid glared at them as she said, "We didn't put anything on him. We're just here to catch that big furball and collect the reward for him!"

Valerie was surprised as she stared at them and inquired, "You guys are getting paid to hunt down this ghost?"

Danny smiled tauntingly at them as he goaded, "Sounds like somebody's been a little low on cash lately."

Download glared and pointed at Danny as he angrily said, "Yeah! Thanks to you kid, we've been reduced from heroes to hired help!"

Danny glared daggers at them as he angrily said, "You guys were never heroes! You were just doing Vlad's dirty work and helping him with his plan to try to take over the Earth!"

Valerie also glared at the Blasters as she spitefully said, "Yeah! More like Masters' Blasters CAUSE disasters!"

Thrash angrily replied, "How were we supposed to know he was a ghost?"

Vid agreed as she angrily said, "Yeah! Or that he was evil?"

Download angrily pointed his thumb at himself before pointing at Wulf while he said, "Anyway we're the REAL good guys and we've got a job to do! Now hand over that ghost!"

Danny fearlessly clinched his fists as he defiantly said, "No way! If you want Wulf then you're going to have to deal with us!"

They all smiled as they stared at them and Download happily said, "Sounds good to us. Take em down!"

All three of them held up their ecto guns and they simultaneously fired red rays at Danny, Valerie, and Wulf.

Commercial break

Danny, Wulf, and Valerie scattered to avoid the three red blasts, then the Masters' Blasters split up to fight them. Danny floated in the air as Download used his jetpack to hover in the air and smiled as he aimed at Danny. Valerie stood in a fighting stance as she stared at Vid with her fists out while Vid leered at her and prepared to fight. Thrash rested his ecto gun on his shoulder as he leered at Wulf, and Wulf growled as he held his hands up and extended his claws out.

Thrash was not afraid as he joked, "What big claws you have."

Thrash fired his ecto gun at Wulf but he dodged it and jumped toward him, and Thrash looked scared when Wulf punched him in the face. He knocked him down but Thrash got back up and glared daggers as he kept fighting as he ran at Wulf. Meanwhile Danny dodged two rays from Download before throwing a ball of ecto-energy at him.

Download flew sideways and dodged the ball and arrogantly smiled as he said, "Ha! Missed!"

His smile quickly vanished as Danny came flying at him and he punched Download in the face with his right fist. He sent Download flying through the air before he regained control of his jetpack and angrily flew down toward Danny. Meanwhile Valerie fought Vid as she dodged a ray from her ecto gun and then ran straight at her as she prepared to shoot again. Valerie quickly jumped in the air and kicked Vid in the face, knocking her down on the rooftop before she got back up.

Vid glared at Valerie as she said, "Not bad."

Valerie had her hands on her hips as she smugly said, "I've got a lot more than just a bunch of fancy weapons."

Vid then held up her right arm and angrily said, "Well let's see what you think of these!"

She launched two spinning discs from a device on the back of her wrist and they came flying at Valerie with glowing red energy around them. Valerie dodged them and reached into her pack and pulled out three sharp discs and threw them at Vid. She quickly dodged them but then Valerie fired her right wrist cannon and blasted Vid, knocking her down. Valerie stared at Vid as she started to get up when Thrash came behind Valerie and smiled as he prepared to fire his ecto gun at her. Before he could fire, Wulf came and roared as he swung his right backfist at Thrash and knocked him away from Valerie. Valerie was shocked as she turned around and saw Thrash fly across the rooftop, then she looked at Wulf as he looked down at her.

Valerie was surprised as she said, "Whoa! Thanks."

Wulf smiled at her as he said, "Nedankinde. Friend."

He watched Thrash get back up and Wulf roared as he pounced at him while Valerie watched him, shocked that this ghost had just helped her. Vid fired her ecto gun at her again but Valerie quickly dodged it and narrowed her eyes as she activated both her wrist cannons and ran at her. Meanwhile Danny was still fighting Download as he floated in the air and glared daggers at him while clinching his fists. Download fired a ray from his ecto gun at Danny, but Danny waved his hands out as he created a square-shaped ecto-shield in front of him. The shield deflected the ray and Danny dropped it before grunting, and then he made two duplicates of himself. He and his duplicates flew at Download, who looked afraid as he tried to shoot all three of them, but they dodged every shot. Both Danny's duplicates punched him in the face before Danny swiped his leg through the air and sent out a wave of ecto-energy at him.

The wave hit Download and sent him crashing down onto the rooftop as he groaned in pain while Danny and his duplicates merged back into one. Download angrily got back up and started rapidly firing his ecto gun at Danny but Danny flew around and dodged every shot. Meanwhile Valerie rapidly fired both her wrist cannons at Vid but she dodged her shots while running at her and tried to kick her but Valerie blocked her kick. She punched Vid in the face and knocked her down; Vid fell down on the roof and seemingly passed out.

Valerie smiled arrogantly as she said, "That's what happens when you mess with a REAL ghost hunter."

She turned around and started walking away, but Vid revealed she was still awake as she opened her eyes and smiled deviously. She quickly fired her ecto gun at Valerie from behind, causing her to scream in pain as it knocked her down.

Danny heard her and looked at her as he cried, "Valerie!"

Before he could do anything else he was blasted by Download with his ecto gun and knocked away. Valerie groaned as she struggled to get up while Vid aimed her ecto gun at her again, meanwhile Wulf grabbed Thrash and threw him to the ground. He turned and saw Vid about to shoot at Valerie and Wulf showed fear before he jumped in front of Valerie just as Vid fired a red ray. The ray hit Wulf and he cried in agony as Danny and Valerie watched in shock and horror, then Wulf fell down unconscious.

Vid smiled happily as she exclaimed, "I got him!"

Download and Thrash both smiled as they cheered, "Yeah!"

Download held his right fist out as he captured Wulf in a containment device in his gauntlet as Wulf disappeared in a red stream of light.

Danny was horrified as he shouted, "Wulf!"

The Masters' Blasters used their jetpacks to fly away, Danny flew after them while Valerie activated her hoverboard and flew with him. The Blasters quickly flew to their jet and escaped as they flew faster than Danny and Valerie and they were gone within seconds.

Danny was heartbroken as he cried, "No!"

Valerie floated in the air and stared in the direction they flew with a guilty expression as she said, "He saved me. I thought he was bad and he put himself in harm's way to protect me."

Danny looked at Valerie as he urgently said, "We have to save him! Come on!"

He flew off and Valerie followed him as they flew back to City Hall to tell Tucker and Sam about what had just happened. Meanwhile the Masters' Blasters arrived at the GIW's headquarters as they stood before Operatives K and O. Download held his right fist out toward the floor as he released Wulf, who appeared before them in a red flash of light.

Wulf lied on the ground and groaned in pain as Download said, "Here. One vicious wolf ghost nicely giftwrapped for you. Now give us the money."

O walked over to them and handed Download a briefcase, and he opened it and he, Thrash, and Vid stared at all the money inside with greedy smiles.

Download closed the briefcase and they turned and left as he smugly said, "Pleasure doing business with you."

After they left more GIW operatives walked in and they all surrounded Wulf as he got on his knees and looked at them with a scared expression.

K smiled ambitiously as he said, "Now we finally have you right where we want you."

Wulf looked at K as he said, "Kion vi violas?"

K leered at Wulf as he deviously said, "We want to unlock the secrets of your power to travel between dimensions at will. And to do that we're going to have to perform some experiments."

He, O, and the other operatives all pulled out rifles and fired blue rays at Wulf, causing him to scream in agony.

Meanwhile at City Hall

Danny and Valerie had just told Tucker and Sam about everything that had happened when they found Wulf.

Sam clinched her fists as she angrily said, "I can't believe those Masters' Blasters took Wulf!"

Tucker was sympathetic as he said, "Man. Poor Wulf."

Valerie had her arms folded as she looked down with a guilty expression as she said, "Yeah and it's my fault."

Danny looked at her with sympathy as he said, "No it's not Valerie."

She glanced at him before looking back down as she said, "Yes it is. He got caught because of me. If I hadn't let Vid hit me with that sneak attack he wouldn't have had to help me. I thought Wulf was a monster but he took the shot for me and saved me."

Tucker walked up to her as he kindly said, "It's not too late Valerie. We can still save Wulf."

She narrowed her eyes with a determined expression as she said, "We will! He saved me, I'm gonna save him!"

Sam held up her palms as she asked, "Great but how are we supposed to find him?"

Danny had his fists on his sides as he seriously said, "We need to find out who hired the Masters' Blasters to catch Wulf."

Tucker looked at his PDA and smiled as he said, "And I think I know where to find them."

Sometime later, the Masters' Blasters were eating at Nasty Burger as they sat at a table and ate burgers and fries.

Vid sucked on a straw before smiling as she happily said, "It's good to finally get some respect around here."

Thrash ate a fry and leaned back in his chair comfortably while he happily said, "Oh yeah. This is the life."

Download held a fry in his hand and smiled at him as he arrogantly said, "You said it Thrash. Finally we get what we deserve!"

They were all startled as they suddenly heard Danny shout, "You're right about that tech head!"

They looked up to see Danny and Valerie angrily flying down toward them as Danny threw a ball of ecto-energy at them. The ball hit the table and blew up, splattering the fast food all over the Masters' Blasters as they glared at Danny and Valerie.

Download angrily said, "Looks like the two wannabes didn't get the message last time!"

They all held up their ecto guns as Vid angrily said, "Let's speak a little more clearly this time!"

They all fired their ecto guns but Danny and Valerie dodged the rays and Danny floated in the air as he fired ghost rays from his fingertips. He shot the ecto guns out of their hands, then Danny flew at them and grabbed Thrash and Download while Valerie grabbed Vid.

Danny lifted Thrash and Download in the air as he demanded, "Alright Masters' Disasters, what did you do with Wulf?!"

They glared at him as Thrash said, "You're wasting your time Phantom!"

Download agreed as he said, "Yeah, we're not afraid of you or your ghost hunter friend!"

Vid agreed as she said, "Yeah, we're not telling you losers anything!"

Valerie smiled confidently as she pointed her thumb back and said, "Well maybe you'd rather talk to him."

Right on cue a limousine pulled up and out of it came Sam and Tucker as they smugly smiled at all of them.

The Masters' Blasters were shocked as they said, "Mayor Foley?!"

Tucker and Sam walked over to them and Tucker grinned as he spoke casually and said, "That's me. Hey guys. Did I ever tell you that I really like your suits?"

They showed flattered smiles as Download said, "Gee thanks. We designed them with…"

He interrupted him as he spoke with a snark and smirked as he said, "That's great. Listen there is a small problem. You guys attacked our town hero and my best friend Danny Phantom."

The Blasters all looked nervous as Thrash said, "We were just doing our job! There was this big bad ghost wolf and he was protecting it!"

Tucker smiled as he smugly said, "I know. I sent him to do that."

Download was shocked as he exclaimed, "What?!"

Tucker smiled coyly as he pointed his left thumb at Valerie and said, "Yeah. Oh, and you guys also attacked my girlfriend here."

Vid was shocked as she pointed at Valerie and said, "You're his girlfriend?!"

Valerie held her with her left hand and put her right hand on her hip as she slyly replied, "Yep. I sure can pick em."

Tucker smiled proudly as he held his palms up and then pointed at them as he said, "Anyway, you guys did some really bad things. I'm willing to let it slide, but you'd better tell us what we want to know or you could be in some serious trouble."

They all looked scared as Download held his hands up and said, "Okay! Okay! We're sorry! We were just doing what they paid us to do! They wanted us to catch the ghost and bring him to them! We just did it for the money!"

Danny glared daggers as he fiercely said, "Who paid you?"

Download showed fear as he replied, "The Guys in White!"

The others were all shocked as they exclaimed, "What?!"

Danny angrily stared Download in the face as he said, "The Guys in White have Wulf?! What do they want with him?"

Download was afraid as he replied, "We don't know! We didn't ask! We just handed him over and they gave us the money! That's all we know!"

Danny dropped Thrash and Download while Valerie dropped Vid, then they faced each other as Danny said, "If the Guys in White have Wulf then he's in serious trouble! We have to save him now!"

Valerie showed a serious expression as she nodded and said, "Right!"

They both flew away as the others watched them, Tucker and Sam got back and the limo and drove away, leaving the Masters' Blasters alone.

Later at the GIW's headquarters

K and O were in a lab as they stared at Wulf inside a large containment device with his arms and legs restrained. They watched as the containment unit zapped Wulf with electricity and he cried in agony while they showed no remorse. They stopped shocking him and Wulf panted heavily before glaring daggers at the two of them, but they showed no fear.

They kept staring at him as K said, "His strength is impressive."

O looked at him before he pushed a button and smiled ambitiously as he said, "Agreed, but we're more interested in his ability to tear holes between dimensions. If we're going to learn how to replicate that ability for our technology we're going to need to see what makes him tick."

After he pushed the button a wall moved to reveal a bunch of tools and sharp objects that would be used for dissection.

Suddenly they heard Danny's voice shout, "I don't think so spy guys!"

They turned around and watched as Danny and Valerie entered the room and floated in the air, Danny was holding Valerie's hand as he phased them both in through the ceiling.

They turned solid and glared daggers at the Guys in White while O said, "It's the Phantom punk!"

K also noticed Valerie as he said, "And that Gray girl!"

Valerie kept glaring at them before looking at Wulf as she said, "That's right! We're here for Wulf!"

O held his palms up as he asked, "Why kid? I'd expect this from Phantom, but why would you want to help this big bad ghost?"

Valerie kept glaring as she pointed at Wulf as she said, "He may be big but he's not bad! He saved me and now I'm gonna return the favor!"

K glared at her as he pulled out a communication device and said, "We'll see about that kid! All agents to the dissection lab immediately!"

A bunch of other GIW operatives came in and they all aimed weapons at Danny and Valerie before firing at them. Danny and Valerie avoided the rays they shot and then flew around the lab as they started fighting the agents. Danny swiped his left leg through the air and sent out a wave of ecto-energy that hit five GIW agents and knocked them down. Valerie flew at a few other GIW agents as device came out of the bottom of her hoverboard and launched darts at them. The darts went through their clothes and stuck the agents against the wall, unable to move as they were restrained.

One of the agents spoke up and said, "We have three suit breaches in the lab!"

Danny punched one agent and kicked another before floating in front of K and O as they held up ghost hunting rifles.

Danny glared at them as he questioned, "What do you want with Wulf?"

They stared at him as K answered, "We want to find a way to discover the secret to his power to tear holes between dimensions."

O stared at Danny as he said, "Once we figure out how to replicate it for our technology we can send troops anywhere in the Ghost Zone and eradicate all ghosts!"

Danny glared daggers as his hands glowed green as he said, "I don't think so!"

He fired ghost rays from both his hands but they dodged them and fired blue rays from their rifles and blasted Danny back. They both smiled until they saw Valerie flying toward them and they jumped out of the way before she could hit them. She flew toward Wulf's containment chamber and small blasters extended out of the sides of her hoverboard. She rapidly fired at the containment chamber and destroyed, ceasing fire when a huge cloud of smoke appeared.

She stared at the cloud until Wulf came out with a big smile and he came to Valerie and said, "Dankon!"

He then licked her helmet affectionately while his tail wagged and she looked back at him with an awkward smile.

Valerie chuckled and kindly said, "You're welcome."

Danny joined them with a smile, but then they all turned to see all the GIW agents aiming their weapons at them.

The three of them glared at them while Danny said, "I think it's time we teach these guys what happens when you cry wolf."

The three of them charged at the Guys in White and fought them all with great valor and ferocity and showed them their power. Valerie blasted one agent with her left wrist cannon, punched another in the face while flying, and rammed three agents with her hoverboard as she got them stuck between the tips of it. Wulf slashed his claws and tore up the suits of two agents, he smashed one agent's weapon with his fist, and slammed both his fists on two agents at the same time. Danny froze one agent in place with his ice powers, he kicked one in the stomach and knocked him away, and then fired ghost rays from both his hands in opposite direction and hit two agents. Before long Danny, Valerie, and Wulf stood together, having defeated all the agents except for K and O, who stood in place as they stared at them.

Danny smiled as he smugly said, "Looks like it's just you two now."

They both smiled confidently as K said, "Guess again kid."

Reinforcements immediately arrived and filled the lab as they all aimed their weapons at Danny, Wulf, and Valerie. They looked scared as the agents fired blue rays at them, but Danny quickly threw his arms out and created a force-field around himself, Wulf, and Valerie. His ecto-shield protected them from the rays but GIW agents kept firing rapidly while K and O watched with cocky smiles.

Danny maintained the force-field as he looked over his shoulder at Valerie and Wulf and said, "I can't keep this up forever!"

O smiled arrogantly as he gloated, "Give it up kid! You're outnumbered and outmatched! There's no way out!"

Valerie looked at Wulf with a serious expression as she said, "There is one way out."

She held up her left hand as she made an electric device come out of the wrist of her suit, and she got on her knees next to Wulf. She stared the anklet on Wulf's leg as she used the device on her wrist to shock it, causing Wulf some pain as he was shocked.

She looked up at him and apologized, "Sorry Wulf. It's the only way I can do this."

She kept shocking it for another minute before she stopped and the anklet opened and fell off Wulf's leg.

The Guys in White saw everything as they stopped shooting and O fearfully said, "What?! No!"

Danny dropped the force-field as Wulf happily said, "Mi estas libera!"

Danny looked at Wulf as he urgently shouted, "Wulf do it! Now!"

Wulf held his left up as he extended his claws, which were glowing blue as he slashed them through the air and tore open a portal into the Ghost Zone.

K quickly pointed at them as he shouted, "Stop him! Don't let him get away!"

The agents started charging toward them, but Danny started shooting ghost rays at them while two blasters came out of pack on Valerie's back and she rapidly fired them.

She kept firing as she looked back at Wulf and said, "Now's your chance Wulf! Go!"

Wulf stared at the portal he just made but hesitated as he looked back at Danny and Valerie and watched them fight the GIW.

Danny looked back at him as he seriously said, "Go! We'll be fine!"

Wulf understood as he looked at them and said, "Goodbye. Friends."

He jumped through the portal and disappeared as K shouted, "No!"

The tear between dimensions closed and everyone stopped as O said, "The subject has escaped into the Ghost Zone. We've lost him. The project has failed."

Danny and Valerie looked at where Wulf's portal once was and then they both smiled at each other proudly.

Danny then happily said, "Way to go Val! We did it."

K and O walked up to them and glared at the two teens as K bitterly said, "Yeah, you did it. Our test subject is gone thanks to you."

O pointed his finger as he angrily said, "You're both in a lot of trouble!"

Valerie looked nervous until Danny smiled and said, "No we're not. We were asked to save Wulf by Mayor Tucker himself."

They were both shocked as they said, "What?"

Valerie saw where this was going and smiled as she said, "That's right. He's my boyfriend. He called us and told us all about Wulf. He wanted us to find him and he wanted us to save him from you guys."

Danny smiled as he folded his arms and smugly said, "Yeah, and I'd say we just completed that task for him. Which means you guys can't do anything to us."

They both glared daggers at Danny and Valerie as Danny pointed his thumb and said, "Now if you'll excuse us, we'll be leaving now."

Valerie jumped up and her hoverboard materialized under her feet, then she and Danny flew out while the Guys in White watched them.

They both glared at them as O said, "I really hate that ghost kid."

K agreed as he kept glaring and said, "Me too."

Later Danny and Valerie were flying over Amity Park together as Danny happily said, "We did it! We saved Wulf!"

They kept flying as Valerie smiled and admitted, "Yeah. I have to admit I never thought I'd ever be saving a ghost."

Danny smiled at her as he happily said, "I told you that not all ghosts were evil."

Valerie smiled at him as she said, "Yeah, you were right. I always thought they were all bad, but Wulf wasn't like that. He was big, strong, and scary looking but he was actually really nice."

Danny looked at her deviously as he said, "Sounds like you're starting to actually like ghosts."

She looked at him with an amused smile and looked determined as she said, "Let's not get carried away. Maybe not all ghosts are bad, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna stop hunting them. If any bad ghosts ever come looking for trouble I'll hunt them down and kick their butt!"

Danny was a bit surprised as he said, "Uh… Okay."

Valerie's suit beeped and she looked at the screen in her left forearm and said, "But now I've got a movie to catch with my boyfriend. See you around Danny."

Danny floated in the air as he waved "goodbye" to Valerie while she waved back at him and flew away.

Danny turned around and flew away with his fists out as he happily said, "Well at least now she knows some ghosts are okay. We saved Wulf, stopped the Guys in White, and Valerie still got to go to the movie with Tuck. That's a good day in my book."

Danny flew home and landed at his front door before changing back to his human form and walking into his house.

He smiled with a relaxed expression as he walked with his eyes closed, suddenly he heard Jack yell, "Danny!"

Danny was startled as his parents came up to him, and Jack was holding the white "F" sticker as he said, "Danielle didn't like the new logo! Can you believe it?!"

Danny looked to the side with an annoyed expression as he sarcastically said, "No. I can't."

Maddie was baffled as she said, "Jazz didn't like it either. I don't understand. I guess your sisters just don't have an eye for art."

Jack glared at Maddie as he said, "Clearly they get that from their mother."

She glared at him while Danny turned and started walking out while he said, "Um well maybe I should just stick my current logo. You know if it ain't broke don't fix it."

He walked out of the living room and into the hallway while his parents started arguing and Danny hurried upstairs.

When he went into his room he closed the door and smiled as he joked, "Maybe the Guys in White would like their new logo."

He smiled as he laughed at his own joke and an iris closed around his face before the screen turned black.

Author's note: When I decided to put Wulf in this chapter I had a hard time thinking of who would be hunting him. At first I thought Skulker because I could picture him wanting Wulf as a trophy or something. Then I figured the Guys in White would be better because they would definitely want to harness his power to try and destroy all ghosts. Also I wanted to have Valerie help Danny save one of his ghost friends and Wulf seemed like the perfect choice. Please review.
