Here's a new one, Stacey's pov. Enjoy, friends. Wow, I'm sorta flying through these now.

It was a lot to take in, honestly. And I thought the stuff my dad came up with was weird. I sat on a bunk bed in the underground bunker we owned. Dad bought it so we would have someplace to stay during the apocalypse. We had enough supplies in here for years, apparently. There were three bunk beds of two beds each, for my parents, me, and my three siblings. That meant one of us would have to sleep on the couch. It was sort of amazing how home-like it was down here. Dad was absolutely convinced the apocalypse would happen one day, and he wanted us to be as comfortable as possible down here.

He had dreams, ya know. Dreams of the world ending. Dreams of getting attacked. One time it was zombies but sometimes it would be these weird random things like swarms of bugs or a bus running into the chemical plant. The weirdest one by far was like a kaiju teddy bear? And he would tell us about these really vivid dreams he would have.

And...they were all real. He was remembering timelines that had been rewinded and canceled. And...all of the things dad dreamed about, had been caused by this one guy, a computer program. And that girl, Morgan, who we left Taelia with, was his kid.

And she killed my mom.

A few days ago, mom suddenly died while at work. She was part of that mass death of that one office building. It was in all of the papers. Everyone in this one office building as well as some people directly outside the building suddenly fell down dead. Dad freaked out. He swore he remembered seeing a news broadcast of this giant monster knocking down the building. But that didn't happen. But apparently it did happen...Morgan made that happen, and then these guys rewinded time so that it didn't. But...apparently that didn't rewind death for whatever reason. Jeremie tried to explain it to me, but I honestly couldn't make myself listen to him.

I went back to work and got some extra hours to help pick up the slack. My siblings were out looking for jobs, too. I wanted to head back, but if this chick did worse stuff than her dad...because as far as Odd and his friends knew, the dad only ever killed one person, then it wasn't safe for me out there. It wasn't safe for anyone out there. I tossed the blankets off, it was kinda warm in here. Everyone looked really gloomy.

"Do you think Taelia's ok...?" Aelita finally asked, breaking the silence. Taelia was that girl that stayed back to fight Morgan. She was...Aelita's...something. That story had been hard to follow as well. They certainly looked similar.

"I'm sure she's fine. She had years of training and a gun that could kill her." Jeremie said. He didn't sound fully convinced though.

"Then why are we still in here, again?" I asked.

"We all agreed to stay in here 48 hours...it's only been about 12." Odd replied. He was occupying himself with the video game system my dad brought in a while ago for my brothers. He really wanted us to be comfortable down here...There was even a beanbag chair, which William lounged on.

"So what, we just sit here wondering if she lived or died and we leave our lives behind for the next day and a half?" I raised an eyebrow.

"That was our part of the deal." William said simply.

"And her's?" I asked.

"She leaves us alone. Listen, I know you don't have all the backstory, and I'm sorry we're dragging you into this, but she was causing a lot of problems...dangerous problems." Yumi explained. "Thanks for letting us stay here."

"No problem." I replied, putting my hands up as a sign of 'no need to thank me.'

I watched Odd play for a bit. He was playing Super Smash Bros. He was so into it, it was cute. He could easily beat the CPUs but...they were at the easiest level. I sat down next to him, in front of the TV and took the player two controller.

"Room for one more?" I asked, smiling.

"Sure, but don't expect me to go easy on you." Odd smiled back.

After five rounds he had his head in his hands. I was beating him four to one. Odd was...moderately good, but he made a lot of mistakes, and didn't know a lot of the little quirks of the game you could take advantage of.

"How did you get so good?!" Odd asked, frustrated.

"Well, when your siblings decide things with Super Smash Bros, you learn how to win." I smirked. Not to mention the hours I had played this game to get better at it. "Want to try me at Mario Kart?"

Hours passed. Odd and I played video games and I got some of the food for us to eat. What would dad say if he knew what I was doing? Would they worry about me, or would they think I was just taking an extra long shift or was out with someone so they didn't have to worry about my taking up any more resources at home. I was trying, I really was. Still, I was a fry cook...there were jobs that made more money. Still, I tried to stay cheerful. The rest of Odd's faded into the background, and so did the rest of my worries. Despite everything, this was nice.

"Uh...guys?" Out of the silence, I heard Ulrich. I turned to face him, and in that moment Odd knocked me off the edge and took the win. That was dirty, but it was my own fault. I looked away before the round was done.

I turned around and saw that he was holding a gun and some bullets gently glowing blue. Everyone else seemed shocked. I...didn't get it.

"What is it? I mean, it's a gun, but why are they glowing like that?" I asked.

"EMP bullets..." Jeremie mumbled. "...She doesn't have them." I still didn't catch the significance of that. The EMP thing, that was what could kill Morgan, right?

We all gathered around Ulrich, he was rummaging through a backpack. He pulled out some jackets and some pocket knives and an old Polaroid picture and a crumpled up piece of paper.

"All of Taelia's things..." Aelita murmured. Why did we have Taelia's things? And...the gun she was supposed to have? Did she think she was going to pick it up after she dealt with Morgan? Ulrich uncrumpled the paper and straightened it out.

"It's a letter..." He said, and started to read it out loud.

Hey guys, sorry about this, and everything. I'm not so great with words with writing and speaking. But I'd feel bad if I didn't at least leave you something. I left my EMP gun on purpose. I'm probably going to fight Morgan and lose. I'll try to win, but I'll probably lose, and die. I'll try to take her down with me, but I don't know if I can do that. Sorry to everyone. I've caused enough trouble but I let you get away and now I won't cause any more trouble for anyone. I'm not sure how you should proceed now. Try to make another multiagent maybe? Don't give up. Fight, and win. Also, keep Jeremie alive. This battle is going to be more about brains and strategy than brute strength. It's like a chess game. That's cliche but it sort of is. Sorry again, keep my stuff.

"That's it, it ends there..." Ulrich trailed off, and we all fell into silence.
