Chapter 9: Feelings, Tears, Shock
So, I'm finally updating here. Sorry it's been too long. But yeah, writersblock explains it all.
Blossom's POV:
It turned dark when we packed our things. My sisters are right, I can't enjoy a normal day at all. I'm always prepared for an attack.
But nothing happened and we all enjoyed ourselves.
Some hours later, Buttercup, Bubbles and I packed our belongings. The sun has already set and we wanna head back to the cabins. The boys – they left already. „No matter what happens, we wanna train every evening." That's what Brick said and we let them go.
On our way back to the cabins, we didn't talk. There was an awkward silence and it was just..weird. Normally Bubbles would talk and talk nonstop and Buttercup would always tell her to shut up.
"Huff, it's boring when no one is talking." I finally broke the silence. Both of my sisters looked at me.
"Eh, it's not the same when chatty auntie is quiet," Buttercup said and smirked at Bubbles' direction. My blonde haired sister didn't notice it though. She just looked straight on the road, formed ice on the path which she was using and slided slowly like she's on ice skates. Her face was totally red.
I looked at her and I totally understand why she's like this. "I think I'm gonna join the boys, see ya later sissies." BC said and made an underground tunnel and left, the hole of the tunnel disappeared shortly.
"So, now it's only we two left Bubs. Do you wanna hang with me in the cabin until the others come back? I think there is something you might want to tell me." I said and nudged my blue eyed sister.
"Oh, huh? What happened?" She snapped back to reality. "I asked you if you want to hang out in the cabins till the boys are back." I repeated.
She smiled big. "Sure, it'll be fun!"
In something about 15minutes we arrived. We used our abilities again to hurry back to the cabins.
When we went inside my cabin, we straightly made our way to my bed and sat on it.
"So Bubbles, what was going on with you on our way back? You were so quiet. That's unusual for you." I started.
Bubbles hesitated a little bit and shrugged. "If I tell you, can you keep it to yourself? Don't even say this to Buttercup, she would just laugh." She said.
"Duh, of course I'll keep it to myself." I promised.
"Well, uh I kind of like Boomer." She admitted. "I know it hasn't been a week, but we two have a lot of things in common and he's so sensible and cute and his blue eyes, I could just melt in them. And don't get me started with his blonde- " she added the last part really fast, but I had to stop her.
"Haha, okay Bubs, I get what you mean. I kinda feel the same."
Bubbles glared at me. "You like Boomer too?!" She yelled.
I put my hands up for defense. "Oh my god, Bubbles! No, I meant Brick!"
My sister calmed down. "Oh, sorry" She said and blushed in embarrassment. "And I guess Buttercup kinda likes Butch too. Both of them bicker a lot. But oh my god, it feels like I've known Boomer my entire life." Bubbles said and sighed. "But I don't know. I'm sure he has a girlfriend."
I shrugged. "I don't know Bubs, but do you want me to help and try to find out?" I asked her.
She looked at me. "How are you gonna help me?"
"Easy, I'll hang out with him a little bit and play your 'Wing Girl'." I said.
Bubbles thought a moment and smiled big. "Sure and I'll help you with -" she started but had to stop.
Brick came inside and looked really angry. "It's better if you leave now Blondie." He snapped at her. He made Bubbles scared, I could see that from her body language.
"Sweetheart, go back to your cabin, I'm sure Boomer is back. Please take care." I said and hugged my sister tight. I glared at Brick when our eyes met during the hug.
I brought Bubbles to the door, and turned around as I closed it. "What the hell Brick?!" I yelled at him and came closer to him.
"What now?! I'm in a fucking bad mood right now!" He yelled back and he came closer to me. His eyes were in a deeper shade of red, it was unusual. And his facial express wasn't normal either.
And he also looked more buffed up right now. "What happened that you're in the bad mood?! Before you left the beach everything was fine!"
I noticed that it was hard for him to control his actions. He took my wrists really tight. An unusual might was in them. He tossed me to the wall but then he held his head.
"Shit, Bloss get outta here!" He suddenly was calm again. I didn't move though. "Bloss, I'm serious, GET OUT!"
I snapped back to reality and did as told. I ran out from the cabin, I was looking for my sisters.
I was almost giving up. I've been looking for almost a hour. I climbed up to a tree. You should know, the animals here are dangerous in the night. Suddenly I heard someone's cry.
I followed the sound of this someone and it turned out to be Bubbles! She was sitting on a giant root of a tree and cried into Buttercups shoulder, while she was hugging her.
"Oh my god, what happened?!" I ran up to them and hugged them both.
"Those idiots. They attacked us." Buttercup growled. My eyes grew wide. "Oh no, not you two too." I took Bubbles in a hug, so that BC could rest a little bit.
It was a long silence, we could only hear Bubbles' crying.
"Brick seemed different. He wasn't himself." I said, and told her what happened before I ran out of the cabin.
"The..same *sniff* happened to us too..." Said Bubbles, between her sobs.
I knitted my eyebrows. "Girls this is really strange. Let's go to Monk Kukai. He will know what's going on."
Both of them agreed. "And see, I'm always right when something strange is gonna happen." I told them.
We needed some minutes to the temple. It was dark here, unlike the last time. I created a fireball and lit up our way
After finally reaching the temple, our breathes stocked.
"Monk Kukai!" We yelled in union.
So, this is the end of chapter 9! I hope you enjoyed this. It took me the WHOLE day to write it!
Lots of love
