Chapter 19: Rose Raid Pt 1
Anabel gets in contact with Wes and N in a forest at an unmarked location. "So, you managed to take out the Admin of this region?" she questioned.
"Yes we managed to do that," Wes said.
"Are you bothered by that madam?" N asked.
"Sort of, I wanted to get some intel from him but knowing his character. I doubt I would find anything, just hitting brick walls," Anabel said.
"I am not fond of working with cops since you were deeply connected with shady people," Wes said.
"You are right, Cipher has connected with many big players around the world. My unit is formed in secret and operates on our own without much help. I have a big feeling there are some moles in Interpol to keep Cipher's main leadership and operations a secret," Anabel said.
"Seriously?" N asked.
"Yes, we can't be too careful. My team is limited but they are capable and have my back," Anabel said.
"I see since Cipher is a mutual enemy. Once we clear up Galar, we would be working together to stop Cipher," Wes said as Anabel nods her head.
"I agree since your girlfriend is very capable with that Burst Heart. She should be able to take care of the Mother and makes this case closed," Anabel said.
"So, who is part of your team?" N asked.
"Oh, there is Looker who is an old dog cop but he is cool. When I got sent into the past via Ultra Wormhole, he found me and took me under his wing. He is like the dad of the group," Anabel said.
"Seems nice to have a good father figure unless my unlucky self," N said as he has a chill thinking about his foster father Ghestis and all the terrible things he has done in Unova for 'Pokemon equality which was all a façade for his quest for power over the legendary dragons of that region.
"Then there is my boyfriend Michael or Mikey for short. He came from Orre just like you Wes and was a very capable battler. He managed to win several tournaments in Orre and even beat Mt. Battle fighting over a hundred highly skilled trainers in a row while taking breaks with sets of 10," she said feeling proud of him.
"Damn really, I fought the Mt Battle and it was brutal," Wes said as he remember going up that cruel trek with Liz and Biz by his side taking down tons of ultra-strong Pokemon back to back.
"Yeah I am pretty lucky to catch a man like that," Anabel said. "Also the last member of my team is Katherine who was a young lady who was abandoned by her rich family due to her cursed powers," Anabel said.
"You mean she is psychic," N said.
"Yes, I took her under my wing. She is like a little sister to me. She has a real touch for Ghost Types and is very good at it too," Anabel said.
"Are you psychic too?" N asked.
"Yes, I am. I have been born with special powers and abilities which made my connection with the Psychic type pretty obvious," Anabel pulls a branch with her mind and made it float beside her to take it in her hands. "The time is near for us to raid the Rose Tower and arrest the big cheese himself along with his Cipher partners here," Anabel said.
"Yeah, we will rest up and get ready for the main event," Wes said.
"Right, I will see you with the rest of the Gym Leaders in the capital city," Anabel said as the trio disembark from each other.
"Working with Interpol seems like a bad idea with Cipher running around," N said.
"I know but Anabel seems like someone we can count on for now," Wes said.
"This chapter is almost over with Galar. We need to get our game face," N said.
"Yeah, hopefully, Lillie is ready to raid the tower with the Gym Leaders," Wes said.
"Knowing her powers, she is more than ready for this," n said.
"Mother is still out there and she is close to completing her task to birth the Supreme Being and we can kiss all life on this planet goodbye," Wes said.
"Lillie fought Mother before. She can do it again and win," N said as Wes nods his head.
"Yes, she has grown since she joined us," Wes said.
"Yes, she is a bit of a firecracker but a sweetheart deep down," N said.
"Yeah, Sunshine did put some light into this team. Hopefully, we will see more of it when we push forward onto our journey," Wes said as they teleport back to the hideout.
Lillie and Serena are playing with their Pokemon using a ball. Tinkaton hits it with her hammer with Delphox catches the ball with psychic powers by focusing through her stick wand.
Lillie catches the ball with her hands to toss it towards Serena to kick it away as Tinkaton slams it hard to crush the ball on impact. "Tink, you hit it too hard," Serena said as Tinkaton is very impish to giggle at this.
"She is adorable," she said bending over to pat the pink gremlin to show a goofy smile for Lillie. The two women noticed N and Wes teleporting back into the cavern. "So how did your meeting with Anabel go?" Lillie asked.
"Pretty good, we will be working together in the future but they are working alone from Interpol in secret," Wes said.
"Secret?" Lillie asked.
"Yeah but we got allies overseas after this is over," Wes said.
"That is a good thing," Lillie said.
"Indeed, things are only going to get tougher after this," Serena said as everyone gets some rest to prepare for the operation tomorrow.
Peony and his daughter are in a hotel with the Gym Leaders getting ready for tomorrow. An Ultra beast Pheromosa sneaks into the hotel to swiftly head through the hallways silently. "Time to use the girl as bait," a woman said as the Ultra Beast kicked the door down. Peony jumps up from his bed to see a tall slender female bug looming at the broken doorway to swiftly go to the girl's room.
"Dad, Dad!" Peonia shouted as she gets captured by the Pokemon.
"Baby girl," Peony shouted as everyone is getting up from the kidnapping. Pheromosa breaks the window to leap outside to head back to her mistress.
"I managed to capture the girl," Lusamine said on the radio.
"Good, we need to bait them to the Rose Tower and give us extra leverage. Wes and his gang will not leave that tower alive," one of the Cipher Elite Peons said.
"I came back to clean up Morpheus's mess he left behind. The Mother is almost done with her role and absorbing Eternatus empowering her the means to give birth to the Supreme Being," Lusamine said.
"Yes, we are almost close to the goal. Hopefully, this project is not a failure," the Cipher Elite Peon said as Lusamine has a dark smile to retreat to Rose Tower with their prize in hand.
Nessa comes into Peony's room to the older man pouring out tears from his eyes to see his daughter has been kidnapped by Cipher and their forces. "Gee what a mess," Nessa said as she goes over to Peony. "Hey Peony, what happened here?" she asked as he is holding back his tears.
"My baby girl, they took my baby girl," Peony said as he gets over his shake to get the fire up over this.
"Damn it, they are making their move now. We got to go forward with the plan tomorrow," Nessa said.
"You are damn right; I am not letting those bastards get away with this. Not when my daughter's life is on the line," Peony said.
"Okay, we need to rest up and head for Rose Tower tomorrow. We will get your daughter back," Nessa said. "Gee, things are getting bad to worse," Nessa said.
Within the hour, Peonia is in a room with Lusamine looming over her. "Hello little bird," the blond-haired woman said as the young woman is inside a cell.
"What are you going to do to me?" she asked.
"You are nothing but bait for the others and my forsaken daughter to come to the rescue. To be overwhelmed by the security forces and perish. I hope you enjoy the fireworks," Lusamine said as she places a device on her forehead to wipe her memories of Lusamine being there.
In the morning, Wes and his gang meet up with the Gym Leaders to be on the outskirts of Wyndon to see Rose Tower in the background. They were posted about Peony's daughter being kidnapped by Cipher. "Damn it, this is getting out of hand. We need to get in there fast and hard. To stop this," N said as Sonia is on the comlink.
"Yes, we will end this today and bring Galar back to normal," Sonia said as they meet up with Nessa and Peony along with the others.
"You made it," Nessa said as Lillie feels sympathy for Peony losing her daughter via kidnapping.
"Sorry sir, we will get her back," Lillie said.
"Yeah, I will be helping you within the tower. I got some strong Pokemon to back you all up," Peony said.
"I and the other gym Leaders will be fighting around the tower to make sure no one else can get inside," Nessa said.
"That is the plan we came up with," Sonia said as they head into the city for it's very quiet there.
"So, you have come to my fair city," Rose said as his face appears on the billboards all over the city. "I am on the verge of solving the energy problems here in Galar and yet you try to interfere with this," Rose said as his private security forces along with Cipher Peons came in to surround Wes's Gang and the gym leaders.
"Damn it," Nessa pulls out her Dive Ball to summon a Golisopod to use a Hydro Pump to blast apart a group of enemy Pokemon. "Keep going, we will support you," Nessa said as her Water Bug slashes into a Shadow Pokemon to cut it to ribbons with its claws.
"We will do our part," Wes said as he summons his Biz and Liz to take down several Pokemon. Liz is using waves of Psychic energy to knock enemies both Pokemon and Humans alike to smash them into walls. Biz is using Iron Tail to bash into several targets to knock their butts onto the ground dead as a doorknob.
Peony summoned his Steelix to trigger Stone Edge to tear up enemies with stone spikes erupting from the streets. His Steelix uses Earthquake for a wave of earthly power to smash through groupings of grunts.
Lillie summons her Galarian Rapidash to conjure Mystical Fire to burn through the Cipher minions. She uses Megahorn with her large horn glowing with power to slam into a Shadow Pokemon to gore through its head killing it instantly.
James calls on Mime Jr to use Psychic to blow away foes with ease as them getting closer to the tower. Jessie uses her Gourgeist to unleash blasts of ghostly energy to blow down a path to the tower. Meowth uses his claws to slash and dice several Pokemon to use Pay Day to pepper energy coins to take out flying enemies.
Serena summons her Tinkaton to use Brutal Swing to spin around like a top with her huge hammer in hand. She is smashing into groups of enemies as she stops her spinning to swing her mallet into a group of Pokemon to crush them into a bloody paste.
N summons Indeedee to call out a Tri-Attack with beams of lightning, ice, and fire smashing enemies to pieces.
"Damn it, they are getting close to the tower. Shore up the defenses," Rose said as Wes's gang managed to get to the tower.
"Gee, this place is huge," Lillie said as the other Gym Leaders catch up to form a circle around the building to guard the entrance.
"Okay, we will hold the fort here. You all go into the tower and take out Rose," Nessa said as Wes and the others as well as Peony nod their heads to go into the lobby of the building.
"Okay, baby girl. Here I come," Peony said as his Steelix smashes through the lobby to see a bunch of Pokemon trying to stop them.
"Damn it, they managed to breach the lobby. Madam Oleana, it's Wes and his crew along with Peony," the security officer said on the radio as there were explosions in the background.
"They are going to the lift. Corner them there and wipe them out. I am not going to let them ruin my boss's plans for Galar," Oleana said feeling nice and calm despite her mind going nuts from all this is happening. "Damn it, why now. They made their move too soon. Doesn't matter, we can wipe them out here and put an end to this nonsense," she thought as she looks down at her Burst glove holding in a Salazzle inside the green gem.
The Gang went into the lobby to see Marco Cosmo security there using their Steel Types to hold them back. "Damn they got Steel Types," Lillie said as most of her Pokemon are weak to Steel. Galarian Rapidash faces off with a Magneton using Thunder Wave to stun the unicorn and use a Flash Cannon to score a super effective hit doing some great damage.
"Oh crap," her Rapidash is trying to dodge the incoming thunderbolts but she is stunned causing her speed to decrease allowing her to be slammed by Thunder attacks knocking her out.
"Oh no," Lillie returns he defeated Pokemon back within her Heal Ball to switch to her Magearna. Indeedee uses Psychic to send the Magneton flying into a wall with Liz and Biz uses Iron Tail at the same time to deliver a powerful twin strike taking out the metal beast.
"Roast them Delphox," Serena summons her Starter Pokemon to let her witch fox use various fire attacks to burn and tear through groups of Steel-type Pokemon to clear the way.
"We need to head for the lift which will take us to his office," Peony said as his Steelix is smashing through the hordes of enemy Pokemon.
"Alright," Wes said as Liz unleashes a wave of psychic energy along with Indeedee to swipe away the guards and their Pokemon to the side.
"Hey Boss, let us hold the fort here," James said.
"Are you serious?" Wes asked.
"Of course, we got this," Jessie said.
"I believe they can do it," Lillie said to have faith in the Team Rocket Trio.
"Well, give these guys hell," Wes said giving him a thumbs up.
"Right boss," the three said with a salute to get into the lift for the trio to guard the entrance to fight off the rest of the guards remaining.
"Who the hell are you jokers, get out of the way," a guard said.
"Not without a day, brace yourselves," Jessie said as she and James were back to back tossing out all their Pokemon along with Meowth to get ready for a fight.
"We are prepared for a fight," James said.
"That is right, let's do this," Meowth said as the trio go headlong into the crowd of guards to fight off all the strong Steel Types.
Elsewhere Oleana is watching the footage to see Wes and his gang on the lift. "Damn it, send in the Shadow Pokemon. Tear them to pieces," Oleana said as an order as they drop a powerful Pokemon onto the lift Shadow Mawile who goes Mega quickly.
"Oh fuck, this is not good," Wes said as Mega Mawile uses a Fire Fang with two of her big mouths to tear into the huge Steelix causing terrible damage due to Mega Mawile's Huge Power doubled her amazing striking power easily knocking down Peony's Steelix with two hits.
"Not good at all," Lillie said as Magearna is weak to fire due to her Steel type. Delphox is using her Fire Blast from her wand trying to hit Mega Mawile but she gets hit by a powerful Sucker Punch doing crazy amounts of damage to knock out Delphox with ease.
"I am sorry Serena," Delphox said as she faints onto the floor of the lift as she returns to her ball.
"Mega Mawile is not a joke," Wes said as his Cyclizar would be useless against it. The Shadow Pokemon goes after Liz to grab the psychic fox in one of its two fake heads' mouths. Liz is yelping with pain as she took a full power Crunch to break her back and toss her onto the floor a bloody mess. "Damn it," she thought as he returns her to the Pokeball.
Tinkaton is heading for Mega Mawile alongside Indeedee trying to damage the small Fairy type. Biz is getting in on the attack as well to back them up. Magearna is about to use Zap Cannon as she waits to use Lock On to focus on her target.
"Hold her back, Magearna is going to use Zap Cannon to knock that Pokemon out," Lillie said as Biz uses Dark Pulse to slam into the Mega Pokemon but doesn't get pushback much. Mega Mawile goes in to use Play Rough to take down Biz with ease while using Crunch to grab onto the Indeedee to deliver a powerful blow enough to break the small Pokemon's body making him faint.
"Anytime now," N said as Magearna readies her move and unleashes a powerful Zap Cannon from her chest to slam into Magearna stunning the Mawile in place.
"Okay, time to take it now," Wes uses his Snag Machine to transform a Pokeball into a Snug Ball to steal and capture Mega Mawile. "Thank goodness, that worked," he said as the lift is cleared. Wes takes the ball thinking he would love to have this powerful little Pokemon on his team when it is clean of corruption along with that Dragonair from before.
"Wes, you should keep that Mawile. It's pretty strong," Lillie said as she is quite jealous of the powerful Fairy Type in Wes's hands.
"Yeah but first, it must be cleaned up from Shadow Corruption to be useful," Wes said as they get ready to head for a floor where it would lead to the central area where Rose will be held up.
Wes, Lillie, N, Serena, and Peony rush into a huge area that stretches upward to see a single woman in their way. "So you managed to get past our defenses," Oleana said as Peony is pissed to see his brother's second in command and Vice President of his company Marco Cosmos.
"Oleana, where is my daughter?" Peony demanded.
"She is comfortable within the holding area where she is safe. We need to bait you here, we can wipe you out and then cover up the whole thing with the International Pokemon League," Oleana said as Lillie, N, and Wes transformed into their Burst forms.
"We are going to go through you and get to Rose. To end this madness," Wes said as Oleana's normally calm face erupted with deep anger.
"Oh really, I am going to enjoy smashing you all to pieces. Burst!" Oleana shouted to be emitted into a tower of energy infused with her Salazzle becoming a hybrid. "I am going to swamp you all in vents of poison," she grabs a Pokeball to begin Gigantamaxing her Garbodor. "Drown in despair," Oleana unleash blasts of fire from her hands with them dodging the incoming fireballs.
Wes is shooting beams of water from his pistols as Oleana uses fire whips showing out of her wrists to burn away the beams of water. "We will handle Oleana while you two handle that living pile of garbage," Wes said as Lillie flies towards the large Pokemon with Peony backing her up with his Bronzong.
Serena sends out her Pawmot to support N and Wes using her fists and lightning bolts to keep Oleana on her toes. "Little rat," Oleana said as Pawmot uses Thunder Wave to paralyze her. Wes blasts her with beams of water with N using a Night Slash to cut into her back.
Lillie flies away from the blobs of poison from the giant Garbodor as Bronzong triggers Earthquake to do some serious damage. Lillie uses Expanding Force to unleash a focused wave of psychic energy to slam into the huge beast. The strike knocks the living garbage into a wall crashing into it.
She opens her mouth to unleash a pulse of ghostly energy to put pressure on the giant monster. The Garbodor knocks Lillie away to spew out geysers of toxic sludge trying to poison her but she manages to faze through the position geyser just in time.
Bronzong uses its psychic attacks to strike back weakening the monster further. Lillie slashes up the beast as she tosses several Shadow Balls to bash into the body.
"Ally Switch," the Bronzong teleports where Lillie was to switch places with the giant Garbodor about to attack with a blast of toxic sludge. The Pokemon uses its Steel Type to block and negate the Pokemon's poison attack protecting Lillie. "I got your back kid," Peony said as he ordered Bronzong to use another Earthquake to do major damage against the enemy Pokemon.
"Thanks," Lillie fires beams of psychic energy to slowly weaken the beast. She focuses on one of the arms of the Pokemon with psychic energy to blast it off to crash onto the ground.
N and Wes use a combo of close range and long range along with Pawmot aiding N in putting pressure on Oleana. She uses her fire whips to slam into both N and Pawmot. She uses Toxic to spit out a gob of purple liquid to hit N to be badly poisoned.
"Oh no," N said as his movements slow down with his body feeling like it was on fire and sweat building up across his skin.
"Venoshock," Oleana hits N with a powerful poison strike which doubles in power when the target is poisoned. N got hit very hard enough to knock him out, Wes did not like this.
"Wrong move," Wes is rushing at her to fire bolts of water, ice, and darkness. She is using her fire whips to vaporize them but the Dark Pulses slam into her stunning her for a moment. He fires water beams to score major hits with Serena coming up to N to take out an antidote from her bag.
"Don't worry. I got you," Serena is treating him while she summoned Tinkaton to protect her while treating N's poison.
Pawmot uses her Signature Move Double Shock with her big puffy hands to emit all of her lightning energy to hit Oleana and deliver very powerful two punches. She gets stunned and got badly injured with Pawmot shortly losing all electric energy from the double attack.
"Snipe Shot," Wes focuses to fire his precise water beams to cut through her vital points to deliver powerful shots. Blood burst out of her wounds with her using her fire whips but only hitting Wes's water clones. He focuses energy on his twin pistols to prepare for his final strike.
"I will not let you ruin his legacy," Oleana said as she rushes towards Wes with her twin fire whips about to tear him to pieces.
"Scattergun," he fires both pistols to unleash a barrage of water pellets like a shotgun blast catching Oleana off guard to get the full force of the attack. She gets blown away to slam into a wall knocking her out of her Burst form to be onto her knees.
"Damn it," Oleana spits blood onto the floor to see her favorite Pokemon Garbodor getting rag dolled by psychic strikes from Bronzong and Lillie. Bronzong is powering up getting ready to deliver the last blow.
"Let it come, Stored Power," Peony commanded as his Bronzong unleashed a full-powered psychic blast which one shots the giant Pokemon taking it down.
"Wow, very impressive for a former Galar Champion," Lillie said.
"Thanks, kid. you are not bad yourself," Peony said as they go over to see Oleana has been knocked out.
"N," Wes and Lillie hand over to see the green haired young man has blacked out from the insane poison and powerful Venoshock attack.
"I managed to heal his poison with an antidote but he has blacked out. You three need to go forward and confront Rose. I will keep watch over him," Serena said.
"Okay, thanks Serena," Wes said to feel relished his friend and partner is okay.
"We need to deal with my brother and his crazy plans," Peony said as the three head off to go further up the Rose Tower with Chairman Rose watching this from the camera feeds.
"So, they are coming to stop my goal to save Galar," Rose said as he looks down onto his Burst Heart in his glove. "I need to end this and put Galar back on the right path to a good future. They will not stop me," Rose said to show a dark smile ready for his guest to come to his office.
