"Are you pissed at me or something?" Emmett asked. We were coming off the stage after our final performance.
"No, but I wish I'd known. What if she thinks I'm some kind of freak? Most girls haven't been understanding."
"Yeah, but you're more settled now. And Alice has something in the works for next year or the year after that would make it even better."
"She won't tell me much about her big plan," Edward admitted.
"Because she doesn't want to disappoint you. I'm content to be on the road, but she knows you're feeling tired with the constant travel."
"You understand why, right? It isn't that I don't love performing, but I want to be able to have a life outside of the winter months."
"Maybe with a cute brunette girl?" Emmett asked.
"Maybe," I answered.
