The Story of Glaceon
Chapter 10
The Stolen Powerstone Beams
Espeon and Hoothoot arrived at a very important part of the forest. A place of Evolution, the place where an Eevee can become a Leafeon, and that is the Grass Stone.
"Well, here we are." said Hoothoot.
"This place is perfect! Good thing it's nice and sunny out." said Espeon.
"Let us begin shall we?"
Espeon nodded her head.
Hoothoot demonstrated the power of Sunny Day to Espeon. The forest area becomes more brighter than ever.
"Wow"
"You ready to try it out Espeon?"
"Yes I'm ready!"
Espeon starts to perform Sunny Day like she was a natural.
"Now to perform Sunny Day you have to feel like the sun. Be the sun Espeon."
Espeon's light became stronger.
"That's great Espeon! Keep it up!"
Espeon has performed Sunny Day successfully.
"I did it! I did it!"
"Well down Espeon! You sure are a natural at this."
"Thank you so much Hoothoot! I should meet back up with the others and make sure they're alright at the mansion."
"Please come back anytime you want. You and your friends are always welcomed here."
"I will."
Espeon made her way to the Haunted Mansion. Meanwhile Glaceon and friends were still shocked on the big news that they heard from Shaymin.
"I would like to explain. Pikachu, and friends. Will you leave me and Glaceon alone for now?" said Shaymin.
"As you wish. This way everyone." said Pikachu.
Everyone followed Pikachu as well as Lucario who looked back in concern for Glaceon, and then continued to follow them.
"Shaymin, I have so many things to tell you." said Glaceon.
"I know Glaceon, but there's something important I need to tell you first."
"What is it?"
"I fear that our Powerstone Beams are in great danger."
"I know." said Glaceon as she puts her head down.
"No, you really don't Glaceon. I'm sorry but I mean... Shaymin took a long pause.
"Shaymin?" Glaceon looked worried.
"Our power is going to get stolen from us!"
"Oh no!" It can't be!" cried Glaceon.
"I don't even know why I have this power in the first place Glaceon!"
"What do you mean?"
"I'm sure you are aware that a Leafeon should be carrying this power."
"Yeah I think so. All of this is just confusing to me."
"Well I am about to tell you a very painful part of my past."
Shaymin took a deep breathe and began his story. "This is when I was still a little Shaymin. It was a nice day, and I was outside playing. I wanted to ask Grandpa Leafeon to come play with me.
"Wait! You were this Leafeons grandson?" interrupted Glaceon.
Shaymin nods his head. "Yes, he was the best Grandpa a Pokemon could ask for."
Shaymin continues the story. "Anyway, I went to the garden to see Grandpa but when I arrived he didn't look so good."
"Little Shaymin, I need to talk to you." said Grandpa Leafeon.
"Grandpa what's wrong?"
"My time has come."
"What?! No, no, Grandpa no!" Shaymin started to cry.
Grandpa Leafeon gave Shaymin a big hug. While hugging his grandson a light came out of the Leafeon. This was not his spirit, it was The Powerstone Beam.
"Shaymin, this is my Powerstone Beam. I want you to have it."
"But Grandpa.. I don't know how to use it, and I don't think I'm the right Pokemon for this power.
"Don't worry, you are the right Pokemon because you're my grandson, and I believe in you."
The Powerstone Beam went inside Shaymin.
"I'll take good care of it grandpa!"
"I love you Shaymin. Thank you.."
With tears coming down his eyes Shaymin finished the story. "Then he passed away right there."
"I'm very sorry for your loss Shaymin." said Glaceon.
"I always thought I would be alone without my grandpa. But that was before I met Pikachu. We became bestfriends, and he protected me like brother."
"It was great that you met Pikachu. I have a question. Do you have these dreams about your Powerstone Beam?"
"Yes, I do."
Meanwhile Espeon arrived at the Haunted Mansion to make sure her group was doing alright. She went inside.
"Hello? Leafeon? Jolteon? Umbreon where are you? It's me, Espeon. It sure is dark in here.. kind of scary."
"ESPEON HELP!" shouted the entire group.
"I'm coming!"
Espeon ran as she heard their voices and found them trapped on a spider web.
"Espeon! I'm so glad you're here." said Leafeon.
"What happened to you guys?!" said Espeon.
"Grr that Ariados is going to pay!" said Jolteon.
"Ariados?"
"Well at first it was a Spinarak."
"I'll explain." said Umbreon. "We were exploring, and the mansion looked really cool but scary at the same time. Then a Haunter appeared, and it scared all us out. Right when we were about to escape, we ran into a huge spider web. Then a Spinarak appeared. Jolteon here got it angry, and it evolved into an Ariados!"
"How was I supposed to know it was going to evolve?!" said Jolteon.
"Would you help us out here Espeon." said Umbreon.
Espeon used Psybeam to rip apart the web and freed the Eevees.
"Let's get out of here before Ariados comes back!" said Umbreon.
They made their way back to Floaroma Town. Glaceon, and Shaymin are trying to figure out why their Powerstone Beams are in danger.
"Do you hear something Shaymin?" said Glaceon.
"I actually see some people!"
"Oh no! It's Team Galactic!"
"What!?"
Saturn jumped in! "Toxicroak use Hyper Beam."
Glaceon and Shaymin got knocked out by Toxicroaks Hyper Beam! Then Lucario came back running over to Glaceon and Shaymin.
"No, guys!"
Toxicroak used Hyper Beam on Lucario too. He tried to protect himself but it was too late!
"Do it Charon!" said Saturn
"Let's see if The Powerstone Beam Remover works."
"Ugh it better!"
Charon used the machine. Out came the 2 Powerstone Beams from Glaceon and Shaymin.
"Hurry! We have to meet up with Cyrus at Mount Coronet!" said Saturn.
Team Galactic left for Mount Coronet.
