Chapter 13
The Evil Side of The Powerstone Beams
After a long night of hurtful events everyone was finally asleep. It was dawn, both Glaceon and Shaymin were once again dreaming. They both woke up inside their dream next to each other and knew immediately that The Powerstone Beams were trying to contact them.
"What? I'm dreaming?" said Glaceon.
"Glaceon I think our Powerstone Beams are trying to get in contact with us." said Shaymin.
"I think you're right Shaymin."
"Hello you two." said Glaceon's Powerstone Beam.
Both Powerstone Beams appeared very faintly.
"How are you both here?" said Shaymin.
"We managed to get through to you guys for a very short time." said Shaymin's Powerstone Beam.
"Yes but we're loosing you both all ready so we'll say this quickly." said Glaceon's Powerstone Beam.
"Team Galactic is located on top of Mount Coronet." said both Powerstone Beams.
"You must beware of..." The Powerstone Beams start loosing connection.
"Beware of what?" said Shaymin.
The Powerstone Beams disappeared.
"No don't go!" said Glaceon.
The dream ended and both Pokémon woke up right away in a panic that wakes up Lucario as well.
"What do we have to beware of Shaymin?" said Glaceon.
"I don't know but whatever it is..."
Lucario interrupts Shaymin. "What are you guys talking about?"
"Follow me to the pond you guys." said Shaymin.
The three Pokémon went to the same pond from last night to talk about the dream Glaceon and Shaymin had.
"We had a dream last night!" said Glaceon.
"Yeah our Powerstone Beams were able to contact us!" said Shaymin.
"That's great you two! What did they say?" said Lucario.
"They said that Team Galactic is on top of Mount Coronet and to beware of something but I don't know what." said Glaceon.
"Yeah we lost contact before they could tell us." said Shaymin.
"Well let's get the others and head up there asap!" said Lucario.
"Come on guys!" said Shaymin.
Shaymin heads back up to the campsite to get the others. As Lucario follows him Glaceon stops him as if she wanted to be alone with him.
"Lucario wait." said Glaceon.
"If this is about last night now's not the time to talk about it." said Lucario.
"Lucario there's plenty of time when it comes to this."
"We can talk about this after we save Sinnoh."
"But what if we never come back? Then we'll never get to talk about it."
"Glaceon, of course we'll come back you have to trust me on that."
"Lucario!"
Lucario finally gives in. "Okay what?"
"The truth is I really like you. I was just hiding it because I was embarrassed."
"Why?"
"I, I don't know. I guess it's because I never had these kind of feelings before."
Lucario smiles at Glaceon. "Me neither."
Glaceon smiles back. "I guess what I'm trying to say here is...If anything is to happen I just wanted to..."
Lucario walks up to her closely, kneels down and kisses her!
"You don't have to say it. I already know."
Glaceon was shocked on what just happened. "Did you? Did you just...?"
Shaymin calls out to them. "Eevee and Riolu come on! We're leaving!"
"Did he just call us by our old names?" said Glaceon.
Lucario shook his head "Ugh I swear they're doing this on purpose! I guess we better get going."
"Psst. Don't tell anyone about this ok?" whispered Glaceon.
"It's alright, I don't want anyone to know either."
Glaceon and Lucario met up with the others as they get ready for Mount Coronet.
"Whatever Team Galactic is planning there's no way we'll get on the top in time!" said Flareon.
"Shaymin you still hadn't told us what they might be doing up there." said Espeon.
"Do you know Shaymin?" said Umbreon.
"Guys I'm getting anxious here!" said Leafeon.
"It'll be alright Leafeon." said Vaporeon.
"Yeah no need to start panicking yet." said Jolteon.
"Okay guys quiet down please. I didn't want to say because I just don't want to assume the worst." said Shaymin.
"Shaymin just tell us." said Lucario.
"Okay. Well as you all know Team Galactic took away me and Glaceon's Powerstone Beams. As you notice both Glaceon and Lucario are back to their pre evolution forms. That is because the Powerstone Beams together have the ability to reverse the evolution affects of a Pokémon when fallen into the wrong hands like Team Galactic.
"That makes sense." said Lucario.
"Shaymin is there anyway for us to return to our original forms?" said Glaceon.
"Do we have to just start from the beginning? Like do I have to train again? said Lucario.
"And does Glaceon have to touch the ice stone again?" said Espeon.
"Unfortunately no for both of you. Only the Powerstone Beams can turn you back to normal once we get them back but also when in the wrong hands it may be able to do something far worse." said Shaymin.
"What could be worse than what happened to Glaceon and Lucario?" said Umbreon.
"I'm not liking this guys!" said Leafeon.
"Team Galactic is planning to rid the world of Pokémon..." said Shaymin.
"What?!" said everyone.
"Shaymin it sounds to me like our powers are just evil." said Glaceon.
"They really aren't Glaceon. The Powerstone Beams are supposed to bring nothing but happiness and peace within a pure heart of a Pokémon. That's why it must be kept in the right hands because if the owner has a dark heart, the Powerstone Beam has one as well it's just how it works I'm afraid."
"I can't imagine this world being any different. Why must Team Galactic have such a goal like this?" said Vaporeon.
"Being with Team Galactic for awhile I'm not so surprised." said Lucario.
"We better start climbing you guys." said Flareon.
"There's no need for climbing Flareon." said Shaymin.
Shaymin transforms into it's sky form.
"Climb on you guys! This is an emergency."
Everyone hangs on to Shaymin and takes off for the top of Mount Coronet.
"We're going so high up! Are we there yet?" said Leafeon.
"Almost! I've never had to carry this much Pokémon so you know!" said Shaymin.
Shaymin finally lands on the top of the Mountain more exhausted than the last trip.
"Are you alright Shaymin?" said Glaceon.
"I'll be fine." Shaymin looks at the cave straight ahead. "Team Galactic should be inside."
Everyone runs inside the cave and sees Saturn, Charon, as well as the leader Cyrus.
"Ugh it's those Pokémon getting in the way again." said Saturn.
"I believe they want the Powerstone Beams back but not a chance!" said Charon.
"Let's defeat them once and for all." said Cyrus.
Cyrus snaps his finger and Charon pulls out the machine containing The Powerstone Beams.
"You guys we have to get out of the way now!" said Shaymin.
"Run!" said Jolteon.
Everyone runs out of the way instead of Glaceon.
"Just as we planned." said Cyrus.
"Right Cyrus sir." Charon pointed the machine at Glaceon!
"Glaceon get out of the way now!" said Shaymin.
The machine fired at Glaceon. Suddenly Lucario jumped in front of her to take the attack of both Powerstone Beams for her.
"Noooooo Glaceon!"
He took the attack for her and vanished into thin air. Much to Cyrus's shock he didn't seem to care which Pokémon it was as long as the power to reverse the birth of a Pokémon was possible.
"It, It works!" said Saturn.
"Lucario! Shaymin?" said Vaporeon as she looks at Shaymin. "Is he?"
Shaymin nods his head in fear and sadness. "He's gone."
"This is horrible." said Espeon.
"How could this have happened?" said Umbreon.
"Lucario.." said Flareon.
Leafeon starts to cry. Everyone starts crying. Glaceon put her head down but no tears. She closed her eyes tightly not knowing how she felt. She did feel sadness, and pain but more anger. Glaceon put her head up with angry eyes, more like the eyes of a hurt Pokémon as she had just lost her best friend.
"Seeing these Pokémon cry is pathetic get rid of them all at once Saturn." said Cyrus as he walks away.
"As you wish. Go! Toxicroak, Weaville, Crobat, Honchkrow, and Houndoom!" said Saturn as he throws all of his Pokeballs.
Out came all the Pokémon that the Eevees have battled before. Even though the Eevees and Shaymin were devastated on what happened they had to stop themselves from crying to fight.
"I don't care what you do just get rid of them!" said Saturn.
As everyone is ready to fight Shaymin notices Glaceon following Cyrus.
"Glaceon looks angry that's not good.." Shaymin starts following her but then turns around. "You guys alright with them?"
"Yeah you go on!" said Jolteon.
"Okay." said Shaymin as he catches up to Glaceon.
"Glaceon I know you're not ok at all but I've never seen you like this before." said Shaymin.
"Cyrus is going to pay for doing that to my best friend! I lost him...he's gone forever." tears finally come down Glaceons face as she falls down crying.
Shaymin comforts Glaceon and thinks to himself, "Lucario can't be gone. There has to be a way."
Shaymin hears a voice inside his head. "Shaymin, your friend is not gone."
"Grandpa Leafeon!"
"He may not exist in this world but he exists in another world. Take back what is yours and find him. There's still hope." said Grandpa Leafeon.
"Glaceon! Lucario is alive!" said Shaymin.
"What?" said Glaceon.
"Come on we have to break that machine and take back what's ours!"
"Where's Lucario?"
"In the Reverse World...Come on let's catch up to Cyrus!"
Glaceon and Shaymin catch up to Cyrus with a Gyarados!
"Gyarados FLAMETHROWER now" said Cyrus
"Shaymin I can't do this!" said Glaceon.
"Take cover!"
