The Story of Glaceon
Chapter 15
Giratina and The Powerstone Beam Origins
Glaceon and Shaymin appear inside a maze which appears to be a dungeon in The Reverse World.
"Are we in the Reverse World?" said Glaceon.
"It appears so Glaceon, but I had no idea we would end up in a dungeon. Come on we have to find a way out of here so we can save Lucario." said Shaymin.
Glaceon follows Shaymin around the dungeon. After reaching many dead ends they finally find the stairs.
"Shaymin look!" said Glaceon.
"Finally!" said Shaymin.
"Lets get Lucario back."
Glaceon and Shaymin walk up the stairs only to find that the stairs just lead to another floor in the dungeon.
"You have got to be kidding me!" said Shaymin.
"I guess we have to find another case of stairs." said Glaceon.
"My Grandpa told me a lot about Mystery Dungeons, they're a real pain if you don't have a map."
"It's ok Shaymin. This dungeon isn't going to stop me from finding my friend. I have faith, and no matter how long it takes I will find him, I will always find him."
Shaymin smiles. "You're right Glaceon. Lets get through this dungeon together!"
As the two Pokemon reach many floors they finally make it to the middle part of the dungeon. Before proceeding to the final floors of the dungeon they decide to rest for awhile.
"Hey Shaymin." said Glaceon.
"What is it?" said Shaymin.
"Can you tell me more about this world? I never heard of it, and why was Lucario sent here?"
"That I can't explain, but I do know some information about the Reverse World."
Glaceon sits down with Shaymin as he tells her about the Reverse World.
"Have you noticed as we were exploring the dungeon there wasn't any solid ground?" said Shaymin.
"Yeah actually now that you mention it." said Glaceon.
"The Reverse World may be connected to our world itself but it's different in many ways. It's almost as if we're walking gravity like if we were in outer space. What I find more interesting about this place is whenever imbalance takes place in our world for example, what happened with Team Galactic it takes in abnormal pollution from the our world, which in this world is the form of poisonous clouds, and then corrects them to maintain the balance between time and space."
"Time and Space? You mean Dialga and Palkia?"
Shaymin nods his head. "However the Reverse World is the home of Giratina, and he doesn't like it when these toxic clouds take over his world. To stop imbalance in the Pokemon World, Giratina took some of Dialga and Palkias powers to create The Powerstone Beams to be giving to entrusted Pokemon to keep balance in our world. This is because Dialga and Palkia are also in different worlds, and Giratina thought that there needed to be the power of time and space in the Pokemon World not only to bring peace and balance, but happiness within Pokemon even Humans."
"So what you're saying is that we have the power of the legendary Pokemon Dialga and Palkia?"
"Yes Glaceon. I have the power of Space while you have the power of Time, but like I said before in the wrong hands The Powerstone Beams can cause imbalance in The Pokemon World like what happened to you and Lucario."
Glaceon sighs. "So it really is my fault that Lucario's birth was reversed. I shouldn't be trusted with his kind of power."
"It's not your fault Glaceon. If anything my grandpa trusted me with this power, and I failed him."
"No you didn't Shaymin. We both got our Powerstone Beams back, we stopped Team Galactic, and we're making up for our mistakes now."
"My Grandpa was the only Pokemon Giratina could trust a long time ago when all of this took place. I think that's why the other Powerstone Beam was placed in the Evolution Stone back in Snowpoint City."
"See Shaymin? It was all meant to be!"
Shaymin puts his head down.
"You really don't want this power do you?" said Glaceon.
"I think we need to give our Powerstone Beams back to Dialga and Palkia so nothing like this ever happens again. Maybe Giratina was wrong for creating them in the first place."
"Shaymin.."
Shaymin stands back up. "We should get going."
Glaceon nods her head.
Glaceon and Shaymin get through the second part of the dungeon with no troubles at all. As they climb up the stairs to the end of the dungeon they find Lucario (still a Riolu) laying on the ground.
"Glaceon look!" said Shaymin.
"Lucario!" said Glaceon.
Glaceon runs over to Lucario to make sure that he his still alive. Glaceon shakes him, and shakes him but he doesn't wake up.
"Lucario please! Shaymin he's not waking up..."
"I have an idea. Take my paw."
Glaceon puts her paw on Shaymins.
"Now concentrate. The Powerstone Beams took Lucario's life in the hands of Team Galactic. Now that they're back in our hands it's time to give his life back. Are you ready Glaceon?"
"Of course."
Both Glaceon and Shaymin begin glow, and charge up their power.
"On the count of three. One." said Shaymin.
"Two." said Glaceon.
"THREE" said both Shaymin and Glaceon.
Out of the Pokemon came a light with every color in the world that contains life for Lucario. Lucario rises up by the power of The Powerstone Beams, and the light enters him. Lucario is transformed back to it's final evolution form, opens his eyes, and returns down to Shaymin and Glaceon. Glaceon runs over and hugs him.
"Lucario! It's you it's really you! I'm so glad you're back I...I never thought i'd see you again." Tears come down Glaceon's eyes as she hugs him tighter.
"It's okay Glaceon. All that matters is that the world is safe, and that we're together again." said Lucario as he hugs her back.
Shaymin smiles. "Listen Glaceon about what I said earlier..."
"You wanted to give up The Powerstone Beams right?" said a voice that cut Shaymin off as he was speaking.
"What? Who are you?" said Shaymin.
"Show yourself!" said Lucario.
Giratina appeared right in front of him!
"Ahh it's Giratina! Please don't hurt us! We were only trying to get our friend back!" said Glaceon.
"We promise no harm will come to your world! Everything is fixed now." said Shaymin.
"Brace yourself you guys!" said Lucario.
Everyone prepares to defend themselves against Giratina. He looks at them like they're stupid.
"Relax I'm not here to fight. At least not today...calm yourselves." said Giratina.
"Then what are you here for?" said Glaceon.
"While you and Shaymin were in one of my Mystery Dungeons I happened to be watching you, and I heard you both no longer wanted to hold The Powerstone Beams is that true?" said Giratina.
"No Giratina it was actually just Shaymin who thought so" said Glaceon.
"It's true Giratina. I did feel that The Powerstone Beams should be kept within Dialga and Palkia so that nothing bad ever happens to The Pokemon World again because when something does happen it not only affects our world, but it affects your world as well. That's why you took half of Dialga and Palkia's power right? Because years ago they started a fight that sent dangerous negative energy to both worlds. To prevent this from happening you trusted my Grandpa Leafeon with the power so that he could keep peace within the Pokemon World." said Shaymin.
"Then shouldn't you keep The Powerstone Beams Shaymin? What if Dialga and Palkia fight again one day, and the whole thing just starts all over again?" said Glaceon.
"I agree with Glaceon. Look...bad things have happened with both you and Glaceon as the keepers, but nobody is perfect. Remember I did some bad things with Team Galactic for the longest time, but I've made up for those mistakes now. You can't just give up now. Would your Grandfather want that?" said Lucario.
"I guess not no...but Lucario I'm only trying to do what is right." said Shaymin.
"Shaymin I'm afraid I cannot allow this. The Powerstone Beams belong in The Pokemon World." said Giratina.
"But I'm not like my Grandpa. If they have to stay in our world can I give it to someone else? I don't trust myself." said Shaymin.
"I'm afraid I cannot allow that either. Your grandfather made the right choice by trusting you with this power. The Powerstone Beams are meant to keep the world at peace, and bring positive energy to both Pokemon and Humans. In the wrong hands, The Powerstone Beams bring nothing but negative energy, and the worst of things can happen." said Giratina.
"I know I know."
"So then why give it up?"
"Giratina is right Shaymin. You're too hard on yourself. You may not be exactly like your Grandpa Leafeon, but we all know that you're the right person for the job! I believe in you, and I believe in myself too." said Glaceon.
Shaymin smiles and nods his head. "As you wish Giratina. Glaceon and I both will continue to keep balance within The Pokemon World to make sure your world is safe too."
"Then it's settled then. I believe it's time for all of you to go back home now, and to continue keeping your world safe." said Giratina.
Giratina disappears.
"Thank you Giratina." Shaymin looks at both Glaceon and Lucario. "Okay you two lovebirds lets go home!"
"Wait what? What makes you think..." said Glaceon as she blushes.
"We're not...ugh...it's useless to try and hide it." said Lucario as he blushes as well.
"You guys are funny. Get ready Glaceon."
"Right. Grab on Lucario!"
Glaceon and Shaymin begin to charge up their Powerstone Beams, and teleport themselves as well as Lucario out of The Reverse World and back home to The Pokemon World.
