The Story of Glaceon
Chapter 16
This Isn't Goodbye
The Eevee's watch as Team Galactic is being taken away by the police. They are also anxiously waiting for Glaceon, Lucario, and Shaymin to return.
"Oh where could they be?!" said Espeon.
"I hope they're ok" sad Vaporeon.
"It's been awhile," said Umbreon.
A portal appears and Glaceon, Lucario, and Shaymin come out.
The portal closes.
"Guys!" said everyone.
"Are you guys ok?! What happened?" said Flareon.
"Lucario! Glaceon! You're back to normal!" said Leafeon.
Jolteon nods his head."And snuggling" said Jolteon.
Glaceon and Lucario give each other some space.
"Come on Glaceon we all saw it coming"
"Jolteon! Enough!" said Vaporeon.
"Vaporeon it's okay," said Glaceon.
Lucario smiles.
Everyone walks out of the cave.
"Wow look at that sunset!" said Espeon.
"Oh my gosh it's so beautiful!" said Leafeon.
"I believe it's time for me to go home now," said Shaymin.
"Will I ever see you again?" said Glaceon.
"Of course you will. You'll all see me again. You and I are like family now."
"Guys! All of this Team Galactic battles and the Powerstone Beams made me forget that we still have to see Professor Rowan!"
"You're right! We have to get to Sandgem Town immediately!" said Umbreon.
"There's snow on the ground...did we miss Christmas?!" said Leafeon.
"No, but it is coming up soon though," said Glaceon.
"Then let's not waste any more time. Hop on again guys!
"Shaymin are you sure? Last time you carried all of us you were so exhausted."
"It's worth it. I don't want your owner to spend Christmas without you"
"You'll have one less Pokemon to carry," said Lucario.
"What? You're not coming with us?" said Glaceon.
"I'm afraid not. I think it's about time I went back home to Veilstone City. It's been so long ever since I've been taken away by Team Galactic."
Glaceon sighs. "I understand, but what about us? We finally reunited after years. It's going to be harder now..."
Lucario looks over at the group.
"Is it alright if we have a moment alone?"
"Come on guys! I see berries over there," said Jolteon.
The group leaves Glaceon and Lucario alone.
"I knew eventually you would want to go back home. So do I really..but I can't stand the idea of us being apart again. Especially now that we..." said Glaceon.
"Love each other?" said Lucario.
"Yeah"
"I want to go home. I've wanted that more than anything until I reunited with you"
Lucario kneels down.
"Glaceon. Is there any way you would come with me? After your visit with the professor and Christmas of course"
"Lucario I..."
Glaceon sighs.
"I don't know if I can. It's too hard to leave my family behind. Robert wouldn't be able to let me go either."
"And it be too hard to leave Maylene."
"Oh Lucario how are we going to make this work."
"I don't know but I'm willing to make it work. We could always just visit each other occasionally."
"I suppose. It's just..."
"What is it?"
"It's just going to be too hard Lucario! We want to stay with our families, but we also want to be together."
"What are you saying?"
Glaceon looks away.
"Don't do this please."
"It's clear that we can't be together..."
Lucario shakes his head.
'Look at me"
Glaceon faces Lucario.
"There's no one else I want to be with. I'm willing to wait. No matter how long it takes I'll never stop waiting."
Glaceon blushes and smiles.
"Glaceon. Will you wait for me?"
"Yes."
They kiss and Lucario hugs Glaceon.
"Thank you. Thank you."
Lucario stands up.
"I should go."
Lucario slowly walks away.
"I love you Lucario!"
Lucario looks over at Glaceon.
"I love you too. I'm going to miss you."
"You too."
Lucario smiles and runs away as he begins his journey back home to Veilstone City. The Eevee's and Shaymin return from their food break.
"We brought you back some berries!" said Shaymin.
"Hey Glaceon where's Lucario?" said Flareon.
"Did he leave?" said Umbreon.
"He's on his way back home."
"Are you okay Glaceon?" said Vaporeon.
"I'm fine. We'll see him again."
"I have no doubt"
"Are you guys ready to head to Sandgem Town?" said Shaymin.
"Yes!" said the Eevees.
Everyone grabs ahold of Shaymin as they take off for Sandgem Town. After a half an hour they arrive in Sandgem Town.
"Are you alright Shaymin?" said Glaceon.
"Actually I'm not tired at all. I feel stronger than ever."
"Good"
"This isn't goodbye guys. Thank you so much for this life-changing adventure"
Shaymin nods his head as he flys home.
"Professor Professor!" said a voice.
"Who was that?!" said Leafeon.
The Professors assistant runs over to the Eevee's.
"The new Eevee is here! Come quick!" said The Assistant.
Professor Rowan runs over.
"Why hello there Glaceon. Your owner called us about your arrival. Please follow me" said Professor Rowan.
"The Eevee's walk with Professor Rowan to his lab. They all go inside, however, Professor Rowan only takes Glaceon to his studies room while the rest of the Eevee's wait outside of the room while Professor Rowan studies Glaceon.
"I wonder how long this is going to take," said Umbreon.
"It shouldn't take too long," said Espeon.
"Well, I'm going to take a nap until then. Defeating bad people Team Galactic makes a guy tired. Goodnight!" said Jolteon.
"I'll say," said Flareon.
"Me too," said Vaporeon.
"I'm not tired! So I'll keep waiting for Glaceon to come out," said Leafeon.
Leafeon yawns.
"You sure about that Leafeon?" said Umbreon.
Leafeon lays down and falls asleep.
"She's funny," said Umbreon.
"Yeah. This certainly was an adventure. More things happened this year than our other explorations." said Espeon.
"What do you think will happen next year?"
"I don't know Umbreon, but I do know this one was my favorite. We worked together as a Team to help Glaceon with her destiny, we defeated Team Galactic, we made new friends, and I learned a new move. I love our family."
"I agree with both"
Espeon and Umbreon fall asleep.
An hour later has past and the door to Professor Rowan's research room opens. Professor Rowan and Glaceon walk out.
"You're a fascinating Eeveelution. Thank you for coming," said Professor Rowan.
He pets Glaceon and the laughs as he notices that all the Eeveeloutions have fallen asleep.
"You and your family must've had quite the adventure. I think it's time you all went home"
"Do you need anything Professor?" said the Assistant.
"Yes. Will you fly the Pokemon back to their home in Snowpoint City"
"But Professor! I thought we were going to put this new Pokemon on the news along with your research?"
"I've gotten plenty of pictures of Glaceon. They need to get home for Christmas."
"Yes sure"
Glaceon walks over to the Eevee's.
"Hey guys wake up!" said Glaceon.
"Glaceon!" said Leafeon.
"It's time to go home!"
"I can't wait," said Flareon.
Everyone gets up from the floor.
"I think we're taking a blimp back home," said Glaceon.
"Perfect! That'll get us home in no time," said Vaporeon.
The Eevee's then get on a blimp and head home to Snowpoint City. It took a few hours to get there, but they were just in time for Christmas Eve. The blimp lands as close to their home as possible. The Eevee's are escorted off the blimp. As soon as they get off they run over to their log cabin. Robert opens the door for them.
"You're all back! Just in time for my big surprise! Come in." said Robert.
The Eevee's enter the log cabin. They see a basket near the fireplace. They walk closer to the basket and find a new baby Eevee!
"Say hello to your new friend"
All the Eevee's smile and greet Eevee.
"Aww, she's so adorable! Hi, little one. My name is Leafeon!"
"I'm Vaporeon."
"I'm Jolteon."
"I'm Flareon."
"I'm Espeon."
"I'm Umbreon."
"And I'm Glaceon."
"Eevee!" said Eevee.
Everyone laughs.
"All of my Eevee's are together," said Robert.
Vaporeon notices that Glaceon isn't as happy as everyone else is.
"Are you okay Glaceon?" said Vaporeon.
"I'll be fine. I just miss Lucario already. I hope he got home safe and is happy to be back with his trainer." said Glaceon.
"I'm sure he's happy to be back home, but I also know he misses you too."
"I know."
Back in Veilstone City Lucario walks into the Veilstone Gym and see's Maylene. Maylene turns around and bursts into tears as she runs over to hug Lucario. Lucario hugs her back.
"I thought you would never come back Lucario!" said Maylene.
Lucario smiles.
Shaymin also returns home as Pikachu waits for him. Shaymin returns to his landform.
"Shaymin you're back! How did it go?" said Pikachu.
"It was quite the adventure," said Shaymin.
"Your grandpa would be proud."
"I know."
