Chapter 14: Double Date Part 3

Hello.

Yes, I do have a lot to speak for not updating for around a year. It was mainly a series of various stuff. Like writer's block, writing for other fics like Infinity Crisis spin-off's, and not motivated to write for this fic sometimes as well.

Anyway I'm back now. I'd like to thank 61394 for helping me and giving me the initiative to write this fic again. So beifall to you.

The Doctor grinned his iconic smile at the three robbers. He always loved it when said those three words.

"What the heck!" Thad cursed as he kept trying to pull the trigger getting angry as nothing happened, "Whose the Brit and what did he do to our guns."

"Brilliant deduction figuring out I'd disabled your Kryptonite firearms" the Doctor said "however I'm not technically an Englishman."

The girl grit her teeth and snarled "I don't care who you are you're the reason that the alien behind you isn't sleeping with the fishes!" she said as she pulled out an ordinary pistol clicking off the safety "Now move out of the way or you can join her." she threatened.

The Doctor unimpressed with the thieves threat merely smiled again, "Well, now that death threat wasn't the most creative I've heard but I'll give points for the delivery." He said turning his neck to the side as a bullet passed by him.

The leader snarled before she rapidly pulled the trigger again and again with the most minor of steps and movements, bullets filed past the Doctor bouncing harmlessly off the wall clattering to the ground.

Thad, the blonde bruiser, rushed at the Doctor with a knife clenched between his fists throwing a punch at the Doctors stomach with quick reflexes. The Doctor grabbed his wrist with a sharp tug disarming Thad of his knife before socking him in the face, knocking Thad unconscious.

The remaining two criminals then realized that they were outmatched with the equipment they had now, with the rest of their stuff in the van.

The Doctor then said, "Also before any of you blokes can do anything else, I got a friend of mine to call the police. They should be arriving anytime now."

Then police sirens were then heard. So the female member of the robbers said, "Screw it." So she and her remaining accomplice that was conscious decided to make hast and leave.

"What about Thad?!" The other robber said with worry about his friend in his voice.

"We don't have time! The cops are going to arrive any minute now!" The female thief said. "Now run!"

So the two thieves ran out of the bank and quickly drove off before any cop cars showed up. The Doctor approached the Kryptonian girl who was beginning to recover from exposure to the kryptonite.

"Uggh, my head." she said looking up at the Doctor narrowing her eyes in suspicion an understandable response considering just minutes ago she'd been shot by kryptonite. "Who are you?" she demanded with narrowed eyes that were beginning to glow red.

A bluff to use her heat vision that Kara would never go through with both for moral reasons and because, while the solar energy in her cells was focused on healing energy taxing abilities like heat vision were temporarily turned off.

"Impressive glare did you learn it from your cousin or a mutual friend we have in Gotham? Has he showed you his collection of Grey Ghost memorabilia?" The Doctor asked. Kara's glare dropped hearing that little known fact about Batman.

The only people who did were the ones were in the know about Batman being Bruce Wayne.

"Give him my regards next time you see him." The Doctor says with a small smile as he walked away. Kara looked away for a second and the Doctor was gone

'Well if I didn't think he knew Bruce before I do now.' she thought before the police came in to grab the one thief laying unconscious on the floor. Kara gave a brief summary to the men leaving out the Doctor before she flew off changing into her civilian clothes meeting up with Wendy by now Danny and Peter were back the three of them were talking.

Meanwhile in Amity Park, Sam Manson was walking to the book store. Mainly to get a new book on Goth Poetry, but also to get away from her snobbish and elitist parents.

Ever since… that incident in Gravity Falls. She had been mostly depressed. The one friend she had known since Kindergarten, along with Tucker, had chosen someone else. Not that she was in love with Danny or anything like that. But it still hurt though.

As she was walking back home, she just happened to run into Jazz. As soon as both noticed each other, there was an awkward silence between the two former friends.

Sam was the first to speak, "So… umm… hey…"

Jazz just sighed and said, "Hey."

"So how's Danny?" Sam asked without thinking. She immediately covered her mouth upon realizing what she just said.

"My brother is doing fine. Don't do anything else that'll hurt him." Jazz responded with some anger in her voice.

"Look I'm…" Sam said.

"Sorry." Jazz finished.

"Well I don't know. A part of me wants to say sorry. But at the same time I want some compensation for my part." Sam said.

"For what?" Jazz said, "For trying to find dirt on Wendy. From what I've heard from Danny, you confessed your love towards that shape-shifter while it was in Danny's form. Face Sam you were jealous that my brother choose someone else."

Sam just sighed, "Yeah, I was dragged on a stupid trip by my parents with no contact with any of my friends. And when I return, this redneck has taken the place of Danny's girlfriend. So yes, I was a bitch to Wendy. Sue me."

Jazz smiled, "Maybe I'll forgive you. When you apologize to Danny and Wendy. Besides Sam your better than this." With that Jazz walked away from Sam.

Sam thought and pondered for a long time before returning home.

Peter was the first one to notice Kara smiling handsomely at Wendy as the former got back. Kara smiled back, "Everything all right Kara?" Wendy asked "you were gone a while."

"Oh yeah, sorry about that Wendy my cousin called. Said it was a family emergency, but it was just him checking on me." Kara quickly came up with on the spot not remembering the excuse that she gave Wendy, when she first heard the bank alarm go off.

"Yeah, family can be like that." Wendy answered with a cool smile smiling at Danny for a second. "Did you have a hard time ditching the press after the bank robbery?"

"No, it's second nature by no…" Kara stopped as she realized what Wendy had asked. Kara was about to send a betrayed look to Danny for telling his girlfriend her secret but he looked just as surprised as she was. "How'd you figure it out?" she asked.

Wendy looked Kara in the eye. "You mean besides you looking exactly like her and both you and Supergirl being in my hometown on the exact same day." she asked quietly and sarcastically "I'm not a detective like Dipper, but I could connect the dots there."

'Kal's going to kill me. Kal's going to kill me. Kal's going to kill me.' Kara thought. First Danny figures out her secret identity on their blind date earlier in the summer, now his girlfriend figures it out after a couple of double dates. "Please don't tell anyone." She pleaded.

Instead of answering Kara, Wendy mimed zipping her lips locking them and throwing away the key. "Tell anyone what?" Wendy asked, playing clueless for a second.

Danny and Peter sent her a reassuring look and Kara finally let out the breath she didn't know she'd been holding. 'Oh thank Rao.' she thought

"So Kara, any cool sights we should see?" Danny asked

Kara's stomach rumbled hungrily wanting extra calories to purge the kryptonite weakness from her body doing a brief look around Kara spotted a familiar little restaurant she'd been to with Kal and Lois. "Anyone ever had Halo Halo?" she asked.

No one knew what that was and Kara was quick to introduce it to her boyfriend and her new friends.

Halo Halo, pronounced Hollow Hollow, was a popular dessert from the country of Palau. Made with shaved ice milk fruit and ice cream Kara got seven from the girl behind the counter three for her two for Wendy and one each for the guys

After their desserts they walked around seeing some more sights. Including a gift shop that catered to Superman merchandise where Danny got a shirt that would be tight on a Tetramand, or any other large alien species, in orange with her family's shield on it for his dad, making Kara wonder how someone with a big father had a son of average height.

'Must be from his mothers side of the family.' she concluded.

After exploring Metropolis and it's sights. Everyone was about to call it a night. Wendy talked to Peter to about the latest his life was offering at the moment, while Danny and Kara talked to each other about the latest status quo their lives had to offer at the moment.

"So your girlfriend is nice." Kara said

"Thanks." Danny said "Your boyfriend would get along great with my friend Tucker."

"But not your friend Sam." Kara asked "I remember you mentioning him."

"Her." Danny corrected before frowning slightly, "And right now things are kind of complicated with me and Sam"

"Sorry to hear that are your complications power related." she asked.

"Sam's known about my powers from day one." Danny answered "Since kindergarten it was just me, Sam, and Tucker, fighting ghosts, hanging out, or dealing with homework. But I found out she did something awful behind my back and I just got so mad." Danny sighed sadly. Kara could tell this weighed heavy on him.

"Okay without knowing all the details is this something worth ending your friendship over or is it something you'd want to fix." she asked Danny didn't look like he knew how to answer or even if he wanted to answer

"Don't give me an answer think about it really think about it and then give yourself the answer. You'll know when you know." She told Danny.

Suddenly, a giant explosion rocked the entire city.

Danny said with worry in his voice, "That can't be good."

That's a cliffhanger for you phans. Anyway, hope you guys like this chapter.

I'm cool with the Doctor using martial arts to take down his foes, mainly because the Third Doctor did it commonly as well.

It starts out as a simple DC and Marvel crossover (specifically Arrowverse and MCU), but it soon explodes into many franchises across it. It was initially written by Michael Weyer, but other authors, including myself admittedly, have also contributed to this saga. It has a TV Tropes page for anyone interested in checking it out. Sorry if it just seems out of the blue, but it is so good IMPO.
