Death Egg Strikes Back Saga Episode 8: Another Metal Assault

Not long ago, while Sonic and Sally fight off Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic, Eve is able to sneak inside of the Death Egg, and is able to make a program to change the course of the World Roboticizer. Having it backfired caused the Roboticizer to be destroyed beyond repair and part of the Death Egg is damaged. Luckily, Sonic, Eve, and Sally are unharmed from the explosion. However, it's revealed that Eve's entire left arm, and her left dreadlock have been roboticized due to the malfunction of the machine. Sonic and Sally are in a state of shock to see what has happened to Eve.

"Eve… how… What happened?" Sonic asks, stunned.

"Well, this is kind of the only way for us to stop this. With Nicole's help invert the beam to the Roboticizer, even though the risk is high. Still, I know that it worked and the roboticizer was destroyed," Eve says.

"But…" Sally says on the verge of tears.

She gently touches Eve's new robotic arm, "Your… your arm…"

"It's okay. Having this kind of help me understand what my dads and Bunnie went through. I'm just glad my immunity was able to hold out so I wasn't fully roboticized. However…" Eve says.

She then holds out the remains of the computer pad, "Your computer is destroyed, but Nicole was able to get to safety before the blast."

"Oh Eve…" Sally says, and hugs Eve in tears.

"Sis, what you did was one of the craziest things you ever did," Sonic says.

He then gives her a sad smile and says, "Thanks. You really pull through for us."

"No problem. We Freedom Fighters have to take the risk upon ourselves," Eve says.

Suddenly, Eggman says, "Glad to see that you're having your moment…"

The three turn to see Eggman is standing before them.

"However, you forget. I'm still holding all the aces, and there's nothing you can do to stop me," Eggman says.

Then calls out, "Snively! Prepare for a full assault!"

"...But, sir…!" Snively's voice says through the speakers, and shows that it has problems.

Eggman shouts, "I don't care how damaged we are! I have the Death Egg, it's got a Chaos Emerald, and we can destroy New Mobotropolis before those Hedgehogs can do anything!"

However, Snively says, "That's just it! The Chaos Emerald is gone!"

"...What?" Eggman asks, as his slouch.

"I don't… when it happened, but the Roboticizer blew… and we're running low on power!" Snively continues.

Sonic, Sally, and Eve remain silent after hearing that.

"So much for having all the aces," Sally says.

"You can say that again," Eve says.

Sonic then says, "Come on girls, let's blow this Death Egg before Eggman wastes more of our time." and picks up Sally.

"Yeah. the others might need some help outside," Eve says.

With that, Sonic and Eve dash off to get out of the Death Egg and help the others.

Eggman grows furious, "Of all the blasted… and just when I thought I had that 'Chaos Factor' in my favor!"

Then he shouts, "Full Retreat! Launch Project 'Titan' and 'Deadly Cuddles' to delay them! I'll meet you on the bridge."

Then Eggman storms out with anger.

Meanwhile, Sonic, Eve, and Sally speed through the Death Egg and soon find the hole where the World Roboticizer has blown up.

"There's our exit," Sonic says.

"Yeah. Let's get out of here," Eve says.

Sonic turns to Sally, "Hang on, Sal."

"Don't worry, I will," Sally says and holds on to Sonic.

Sonic and Eve then jump through the portal and fall out of the Death Egg. Soon, they see the Tornado Flying towards them below. And the three are able to land on the plane's wings safely.

"Thanks for the save, Tails," Sonic says.

"I'm just glad to spot you while flying by," Tails says.

Then asks, "What's going on? What happened?"

"Well, the good news is that we managed to stop Eggman's plans," Eve says.

"Yeah. The Nutcase decides to try altering the world so he can conquer it and tries to use a World Roboticizer to turn everyone into robots. Good thing with Nicole's help, Eve is able to stop it and it totally destroys the machine and Metal and Silver Sonic," Sonic says.

"That's great," Tails says.

"However, knowing Eggman, he's going to launch another assault on us with another one of his robots," Sally says. "And…" then slowly turns to Eve. "Well…"

"Did something happen?" Tails asks, concerned.

Eve sighs and turns to Tails with her arms to show him what happened, "She's talking about this…"

Tails gasp in shock to see what has happened to Eve's left arm and her left dreadlock.

"Eve… wha-what happened?!" Tails asks, shocked.

"Eggman's world Roboticizer became the cause. As well as have the machine backfire on it, and this is the result of it," Eve says.

"Are you… going to be okay?" Tails asks, worried.

"I think I'll be alright. Besides, I think we're going to have more worries on our hands," Eve says and points to the Death Egg.

Sonic, Sally, and Tails look up to see the hatch under the Death Egg opens, and a large red metal ball drops down from it. Then crashes at part of the wall to the city, mainly the city ntrance. Everyone begins to scream and panic as they see what is forming from the metal ball.

Cream hugs her mom and says, "D-don't be frightened, m-mother… I'm sure the Freedom Fighters will save us."

What everyone sees is an enormous red robot that resembles both Sonic the Hedgehog and Metal Sonic, but has a more hefty design. It is red and gray/silver in color and possesses sharp claws and teeth. It also has red and black colored eyes, and it looks terrifying.

Above, the Freedom Fighters on the planes are in a state of shock to see what Eggman has launched upon the city.

In the aircraft, Antoine and Bunnie are seeing what's happening.

Antoine is shocked, "Did he just… shoot a gigantimous Metal Sonic at ze city?!"

"You concentrate on flyin' sugah! I'll take care of that thing," Bunnie says as she leaves her seat.

Bunnie quickly runs to the back of the aircraft as the hatch opens. Bunnie jumps out of the plane and uses her rocket boosters to fly towards the robot.

Amy calls out, "Hit it once for me!"

Bunnie flies down and prepares to fight the Titan Metal Sonic.

From above on the Tornado, The group are shocked to see what kind of monster Eggman has unleashed.

"That has to be the biggest Metal Sonic he built, and it's not even good looking either," Sonic says.

"We gotta stop that monster before it destroys the city!" Sally says.

Eve says, "I'll go help, the rest try to help in the air."

"Be careful, sis," Sonic says.

Eve nods her head in reply. She then uses her Chaos Energy to lift herself up and flies down to the Titan Metal Sonic.

Down below, the citizens of New Mobotropolis are running in fear and panic. Nicole and the royal guards do their best to evacuate the buildings before the robot destroys it. They also plan to evacuate from the city. Luckily, Nicole is able to create an exit allowing everyone to escape to a safe area.

Soon, Bunnie and Eve fly down from different directions. Bunnie uses her blaster from her robotic arm to blast at the Titan Metal Sonic. Eve is on the other side and uses her Chaos energized fist and her mechanical fist to pound at the Titan Metal Sonic's left side of the head. Then Eve jumps up and spin dashes it at the head.

"What in the world is that thing made of?" Eve asks.

"Eve!" Bunnie calls out.

Eve turns to see Bunnie flying towards her.

"Bunnie," Eve says.

"Sugah, are you okay? What happened on the…" Bunnie asks, but notices in shock, "What happened to your arm?!"

"Long story, but right now. We gotta kick that robot mechanical butt," Eve says.

"Right," Bunnie says with a nod.

Eve and Bunnie then fly down and begin to attack the Titan Metal Sonic with all their might.

In the X-Tornado, Rotor, Sonia, Manic are flying in the X Tornado and see Eve and Bunnie are fighting back.

"Bunnie and Eve are really going at it," Manic says.

"We gotta help them," Sonia says.

"Right. Sonia. Manic. It's time to get this into Battle Armor Mode," Rotor says.

The X Tornado soon transforms into battle mode and gains two robotic arms. Rotor takes the center, Sonia controls the right arm and Manic controls the left. The X-Tornado flies down and Sonia and Manic use the mechanical arms to grab hold of the Titan Metal Sonic.

Rotor holds the control and says, "Sonia, press the red button."

"Right!" Sonia says and presses the red button.

Just then, coming out of the robotic arm's sleeve is a spear.

"This could get interesting!" Sonia says.

With that, Sonic swings the arm and pierces it against the robot, creating a large hole right through the chest and back. When that happens, the Titan Metal Sonic is starting to show signs of losing control and signs of short circuiting. Sonia quickly pulls the spear out and grabs hold of the Titan Metal Sonic.

In the cockpit of the Death Egg, everyone is practically in a panic.

Snively cries out, "We've lost contact with Titan Metal Sonic! The X Tornado damaged the controls. And the Tornado and Aircraft are still attacking us."

"Put the engines on reserve power! Put everything else into the Egg Annihilator Beam and Fire on New Mobotropolis!"

"But…" Snively says, trying to reason.

But Eggman shouts in rage, "Just do it!"

"Um yes sir," Snively says, nervously.

Just then, the Death Egg begins to turn as the bottom area with Eggman' face begins to glow.

"After all that… what else does it have?" Sonic asks.

"I don't like it," Sally says.

Meanwhile, the glow has gotten everyone's attention.

"Oh no," Eve says, worried.

"What's going on now?" Bunnie asks.

In the X Tornado…

"Eggman is going to blast the city!" Manic says.

"We gotta stop him!" Rotor says.

"But how?" Sonia asks.

"We also need to get that thing out of the city," Manic says.

He uses the control and punches the Titan Metal Sonic out of the way. Sonia also swings the other arm. The two hedgehogs continue to punch the robot until it's out of the city.

Eve turns to Bunnie, "Bunnue, see if you can destroy that thing from the inside. I gotta go find Nicole."

"You gotta sugah hog," Bunnie says.

Bunnie flies to the Titan Metal Sonic, while Eve flies to Freedom Fighters HQ. Bunnie soon flies inside the robot and begins to blast it from the inside. Eve reaches Freedom HQ and rushes inside.

"Nicole, are you here?! Nicole!" Eve calls out.

Eve reaches the computer, "Nicole, are you alright!"

Soon, Nicole appears on the screen.

"Eve, oh I'm so glad to see you," Nicole says, relieved.

Then notices Eve's arm and dreadlock, "Did the roboticizer did that?"

"Never mind that, Dr. Eggman is going to blast the city to pieces. We need to put a very high force field or anything to protect the city," Eve says.

"Right!" Nicole says. "I'll have to put the dome up in order to protect the city from the blast."

Nicole then uses the computer program inside the system to create a large metal dome over the city.

Then Nicole asks, "Eve, do you think you can use your Chaos Energy for extra support? I left a small opening for you on the top of the dome."

"On it," Eve says, and hurries outside.

Eve uses her Chaos Energy to fly up over the dome and find the opening. Eve then flies inside. With all her might, Eve uses her Chaos Energy to create a large bubble that covers the inside of the dorm and over the city for protection.

Soon, Dr. Eggman's cannon fires and ends up breaking the wing of the Tornado and the Airship. Antoine focuses on flying the aircraft and soon crashes to the ground. Tails acts fast and is able to grab Sonic and Sally as he flies out of the plane before it crashes to the ground.

Just outside, The Rotor, Sonia, and Manic in the X-Tornado and Bunnie are able to break the Titan Metal Sonic and it falls to the ground beyond repair as it explodes from the inside.

Then the beam under the Death Egg hits the dome and the dome is on the verge of breaking. It ends up breaking through but Eve is still hanging out with all her might against the blast until it's all used up. Once the blast is gone, Eve is able to use what's left of her strength to fly out of the dome and uses the Chaos Energy from her right arm to create a spear.

She then shouts, "Chaos Spear!" And throws it at the dome.

The blast of the Chaos Energy strikes at the bottom hatch causing it to shut down and explode on the bottom.

In the cockpit, Snively shouts, "Sir, the beam is damaged."

"Let's retreat for the time being! We have too much damage," Eggman says.

"Yes sir," Snively says.

With that, the Death Egg takes its leave as it floats away. The citizens of the city look to see the Death Egg is leaving and the city still stands, despite it being badly damaged. Seeing them gone, Eve lands on the ground in the center of the city and soon falls to her knees in exhaustion. During this time, the remains of the dome disappears and the exit and entrance open.

Meanwhile, Tails with Sonic and Sally fly towards the crashed airship as the X-Tornado lands on the ground. Rotor, Sonia, and Manic quickly climb out. Bunnie also lands on the ground and rushes over in concern.

"Oh man, this is serious damage," Sonic says.

"I hope no one is hurt," Sally says, concerned.

Tails calls out, "Hello…? Hello?! Can anyone hear me down there?"

Suddenly, Amy's voice appeals, "I said 'OPEN'!" and the hatch has been burst open to reveal Amy is holding her hammer and uses it to break the door.

Everyone who's been in the aircraft begins to climb out. Bunnie checks on Antoine and he seems fine, a little dizzy from the crash.

Sonic asks, "Is anyone hurt?"

"I think we're all okay. Antoine was amazing. What about the tornado?" Amy says.

"I'm afraid the Tornado has been damaged as well," Sonic says.

"And it seems the airship suffered some damages as well," Sally says.

"I think we're all okay, but that was a bumpy landing," Fiona says.

"Where's Eve?" Sonic asks.

"She should be in the city to help Nicole with the force field," Bunnie says.

"Thanks Bun, I gotta check on her," Sonic says and zips into the city.

Sonic soon rushes into the city and tries to find Eve.

Sonic calls out, "Eve! Eve, where are you?!"

"Sonic!" Eve says.

Sonic then rushes over and sees who has collapsed on her knees and looks very exhausted.

"Eve, are you okay?" Sonic asks, and rushes toward her.

Eve slowly looks up and is practically sweating and answers, "I'm okay, just very tired. Using that Chaos Bubble and that Chaos Spear really took a lot out of me."

"It's cool sis. You really did great out there," Sonic says.

"Thanks. You did great there too," Eve says.

Sonic then picks up Eve and says, "You should head home and get some rest. You've deserved it."

Then looks at Eve's robotic arm and artificial dreadlock.

He then sighs and says, "Eve, I'm sorry about this. About what happened to your arm."

"It's alright Sonic. I suspected it might happen. Even the risk I might be fully roboticized. And yet. I've decided to take the risk. It is either losing one, or losing everyone and our world being destroyed," Eve says.

Sonic then hugs Eve and says, "I know. And don't worry, we'll find a way to restore your arm. That I promise."

Eve nods and hugs her brother back.
