A/N: All right, I know that I am horrible at updating. I worked at Old Navy over the break, and working retail around Christmas is both mentally and physically exhausting. I'm back at school now, so updates so be more regular for the three fics I currently am working on.

As always, review to let me know what you think!

Ember smiled to herself as she led him to where Freakshow was waiting. In all honesty, she had no idea where Lydia had taken the goth girl, but the plan was finally beginning to work. Once Danny was completely on her side, nothing could stop them.

"How much longer, Ember?" Danny couldn't believe that he was trusting her to show him where Sam was being held. He wasn't a complete idiot—his muscles were tensed and ready for an attack. It was just a matter of how the attack would come that worried him. For all he knew, she would try to seduce him again, and he didn't know if he could resist.

"Patience, ghost boy. They aren't hurting your girlfriend. They had strict orders." Her eyes rolled as she made a turn towards the old train station that was a mile or so away from the town. She dove towards the ground gracefully and tuned around so that she was flying backwards, "The ghost gang is just to hold her long enough to draw you in for an ambush."

"So aren't we flying right into the ambush?"

She laughed, "Danny, they wouldn't have had time to put the ambush together by now. You really don't know very much about the way these things work, don't you?"

He ignored her insult, "Sam is in the old station, being held captive by at least four ghosts, and we are just going to fly in there, grab her, and go before they can prepare for anything?"

"Yeah." A smirk played on her lips, "Don't screw it up."

Danny narrowed his eyes but held his tongue so he wouldn't give her anything else to throw in his face. Sam was the priority. Nothing could get in the way of saving her. She would kill him if he didn't. He focused on the station and prepared for a quick and easy fight. The ideal situation would be to just phase in, grab Sam, and phase out. Life wasn't an idea situation however.

The station was dark and empty when the two ghosts landed inside. There was not a clue of Sam or the other ghosts anywhere. They crept through the entranceway into the larger hallway quietly, each highly alert or pretending to be at least. The light from the few holes in the ceiling created dim spotlights scattered throughout the building. Danny halted when he spotted a figure that looked to be tied up in the middle of one of such lights.

"Sam!" He rushed forward with his hand outstretched. When his hand fell on the figure's shoulder, he realized that it was too boney to belong to his Sam. His reaction was too slow from the shock, allowing the figure to quickly twist around and grab his wrist.

"Danny-boy!" Freakshow sang out with a grin, "How nice of you to join me. I admit that I am probably not as attractive as who you were hoping for, but I think you will want to listen to what I have to say."

"Where's Sam?" He tried to phase out of his grip, but something was stopping him.

"She's safe, dear boy. Don't worry about her. I am going to give you the tools to make sure she lives a long and happy life."

"What do you want?"

The golden scepter was picked up from the shadows of the floor, "I want your help with a little project. You see, a friend and I have had this plan for a while now, and you are the only piece of the puzzle left."

"What friend? Who would work with you?" His green eyes narrowed, "And what do you want from me?"

The man sighed, "Ember, why don't you explain it to him?" The jewel on the rod began to glow.

The rockstar's eyes flashed red as she approached the men, "Danny, it's simple. You will do as Freakshow says, or your little girlfriend will become ghost girl. Just look at the pretty glowing sapphire and let your girl be safe. It won't be too harmful to your precious relationship."

Danny let her words process in his mind. He tried to think of a way out of the situation, but Freakshow was still preventing him from phasing away somehow. There wasn't much he could do at this point. His shoulders slumped in defeat and disappointment, "Fine, but if Sam gets hurt, then I'm out."

"She'll be as safe as anyone could be." He grinned, "Now just take a look at my glowing stick, and we will begin."
