A/N: It's short. It's late. Blame a ten page research paper, tests, insance amount of homework, work, and other on campus obligations. College is hard, guys.

Tucker grinned at the belt laid out on the table in front of him. It had been a nonstop twenty-four hours with Maddie Fenton, and now they had a device Danny could use, "I think it's ready Mrs. Fenton."

"Yes." Maddie mused, "but don't you find it odd that Danny hasn't stopped by since you came to help me? He made it pretty clear that he needed protection from Freakshow."

"It's only been a day. What kind of trouble could he get into in a day?"

She sighed, "That's what I am afraid of. Grab the belt and get to the RV. I'll grab Jack and try to get a hold of Danny on his phone." Standing, she said, "Oh, and let Jaz know about the situation here. She shouldn't be kept in the dark."

"Yes ma'am." Tucker let her go up the stairs before taking the belt. As he ran up the stairs, he pulled out his phone, "Call Jaz."

After two rings, a familiar and irritated voice sounded in his ear, "What do you want? I have a lab test in the morning that I am trying to study for!"

"Danny may or may not be in trouble. Freakshow is in town, and he's working with Ember McClain for no apparent reason other than ruin our lives."

"So why are you calling me?"

"He's been missing for about a day without checking in. Your mother told me to let you know."

There was a pause and a sigh, "All right. Thanks, Tucker. Text me updates, and I'll help after my test tomorrow if you still need me."

"Will do." He hung up his phone and tried to get into the RV, "Wow. They actually remembered to lock it this time."

He didn't have to wait long before Jack and Maddie burst out the front door. Jack pressed a button on his keys and the doors opened, "Everybody get in! We got a ghost to catch!"

"You mean Danny."

"He is a ghost!" He grinned as if he was making a good joke, "And he needs to be found and brought back home. We have to catch him!"

Tucker groaned, "Any luck with the phone, Mrs. Fenton?"

"None. Sam isn't answering either. I fear that something bad has happened while we've been working on the thing that could save them."

Red eyes reflected off of the glass that protected a collection of diamond rings. It was the third jewelry store in the third city of the morning. Danny grinned as he smashed the glass to pick up a handful of rings, "Why are we doing this anyway?"

Lydia hushed him, but Ember whispered, "It's training to some sort. Just grab them and let's get out of here."

A black diamond made him pause, "Sam..." His eyes flickered back to green for a brief moment, but they were red again with a shake of his head. After scooping the jewels into a bag, he floated upwards and over the unconscious bodies of the jewelers.

The rockstar gingerly collected the diamond and pearl necklaces into a bag of her own. Adjusting her guitar on her shoulder, she joined Danny in the air, "We should be done with this shit soon. There's no way Freakshow needs this much bling."

"Especially with the time gauntlet gone. The jewels don't have any use to him."

Lydia glared at them, "Shut up, and do your job. We have to get back for the show that you," she pointed at Danny, "took too long to actually perform last night!" As she flew away, she muttered, "I liked this better when Freakshow didn't let you all question things. Now you're a pain in my ass."

The other ghosts followed her away from the store and back towards the circus. With Lydia so grumpy, the flight was done in silence. As Freakshow's right hand, she had power over them. No one wanted to see what she was like when she got really angry.
