After much deliberation and having been stuck in a writing rut for almost three months, I'd first and foremost like to apologize to those of you who've waited patiently for an update, for those of you who've been here since I uploaded the incoherent ramblings that were chapter one, for folks who've only just now found this fic. I'm sorry you'll have to wait a bit longer. I want to produce something with a quality and coherence I can be proud of, and my attempts at chapter nine seemingly continue to fall flat at that. Thanks to a lot of my early commitments over ANs, storylines, and concepts, I've written myself largely into a corner and I can't find much of an outing other than to go back to the beginning. So that's what I'm doing. I hope I can return with chapter nine to a fresher, more refined work, something I can be proud of. Your feedback has been something I've relied on, and I hope I can continue to as I try to refine and restructure my story. A few changes I'm considering for rework are Jaune's origin and departure from Cascadia, team balance, Ozpin's storyline regarding Frostfall, and continued focus on the overarching plotlines.
