"We have a lot of catching up to do, don't we"?
He wondered what Kira meant by that and strangely put up a mental block to block anything more than a sense of her general feelings towards him. That was unusual for them. They typically left their minds open to each other and their force bond allowed them to know what the other was thinking.
Then of course the revelation of Scourage's returned humanity and confusion over the wave of emotions that had hit him, certainly didn't make things easier for Erguso. He was always ready to help a friend, but he had to admit that these revelations of the Emperor coming back and his friend's return had drained him quite a bit.
At least he was about to clear things up with Kira.
As they walked through the Odessan command center, to the Force Sensitive Enclave, Kira said, "Nice digs, beat the places Scourge and I stayed throughout the years you were missing".
He said, "You guys stayed together then"?
Kira replied, "Yeah, us and Master Kiwiiks, she joined us not long after you disappeared".
He said, "I'm glad that she is okay as well, or did something happen? You didn't mention her when you struck down Vititate's original body".
Kira said, "She is fine, almost fully back to her old strength before Tatotine She was otherwise occupied at the time", she quickly changed the subject before he could ask what.
Kira said, "You know… I wasn't exaggerating earlier when I said that I would have torn through the whole galaxy looking for you".
Orguso said, "I know. I would have done the same for you. All throughout my time back I've had agents trying to track you down. I've missed you".
Kira replied, "I've missed you too… I even stole a ship to rescue you, but Scourge and Master Kiwiiks talked me out of it. She doing it was expected, but you know, for a sith, Scourge is kind of a wet blanket".
Orguso laughed at the mental image as Kira continued.
Kira said, "Nothing felt right without you. Life lost its color, you know.
Orguso said, "I'm sorry I put you through that".
Kira said, "No…No. I'm not trying to make you feel guilty. What I am trying to tell you how much I love you. Every night I went to sleep missing you. Then I woke up missing you. It wasn't until.." She stopped and gave a signal.
Orguso turned around and to his surprise found Master Kiwiiks with two children at her side. The children were approximately 10 standard years old and looked like twins. He saw the little details in their face. Both had Kira's blue eyes, though the boy had a touch of green that made his eyes look like the waters of a tropical sea. They both had auburn hair, with the girl's hair resembling copper while the boy's was more subdued. They had his ears and smile. They were his children.
Kira said, "I found out I was pregnant a little over a month after you disappeared. As the others departed, Scourge remained saying that he swore an oath to protect and train your children. After we found a suitable world to hide in, I contacted Master Kiwiicks. She helped through the pregnancy and labor, along with of course providing her own style of training to them".
She stepped forward to stand beside him and said to the children, "Orgus. Lya. Come meet your father".
The children stepped forward, initially hesitant. Yet they reached out in the force to touch Kira's mind and then his. Then they ran to him and embraced him.
He was in tears, as he never expected this. A family with the woman he loved.
Kira embraced all of them as well saying, "My… Our children are the only things that kept me going. I remembered that you mentioned that if you had a son you would have wanted to name him after Master Orgus and if you had a daughter then you wanted to name her after your mother. I dreamed of them finally meeting their father. Now, it almost feels like I do not know what to do".
Orguso looked at her and said, "We can live… as a family". He then kissed her.
Orguso knew that the galaxy may be chaotic and war torn, but with his family and the Force. He didn't fear the future.
