Luna kicked a rock down the dirt path, trying to pass the time as she, Gilly, and Heidi walked together. The still-rising sun was lit above them with only the sparse shade from the tree branches to keep them from being blinded by its bright light. In the not-too-far distance, a mountain was visible beyond the treeline in front of them.

"It's just another thirty minutes, right?" asked Luna.

"Yeah, we should arrive at the base of Breeze Peak in about twenty minutes. We can restock on anything we need at the plaza at the base before making the trek up the mountain!"

"Have you been to Breeze Peak before, Gilly?" Luna turned to her friend.

"I have! It's been about a year or two since the last time I came!" she pushed up her glasses, "There's a bunch of cute Pokemon we might get to see going up the mountain too!"

"I don't want to spoil it for you! But they're super friendly."

As the two approached the base of the mountain, many trainers were congregating around the Pokemon Center and the nearby shopping plaza.

The variety of different clothing, food, and jewelry around her got her all excited as she looked around. Luna walked up to a blue tent-like stall that had fabric adorned on the shelves inside.

"This is perfect!" said Luna as she grabbed something off the shelf.

Gilly finally managed to catch up to Luna with Heidi, following just behind her.

"Would you slow down!? You're gonna kill me if we keep going at this pace!" Gilly pleaded, still breathing heavily from the earlier jog.

"Sorry!" The redhead apologized, "I just get kinda excited when I'm going somewhere new!"

"I'll show you!" Luna summoned forth her three Pokemon from their Pokeballs.

Casper, Slither, and her Ledyba all appeared in front of her eagerly awaiting any orders that Luna had to give.

Luna swiftly affixed three different bandanas to her Pokemon. Tying a green Bandana around Casper's neck, a Red one around Slither's right arm, and another yellow one around Ledyba's right arm.

"I got them Bandanas!" Luna looked at her Pokemon with sparkling eyes. She couldn't hold herself back as she scooped them all up in a bear hug, "I love them so much! Look how cute they are!"

Gilly smiled, "They do look cute. Nice job there, Luna."

"Thanks!" Luna gently put them back to the ground; Slither stumbling a bit, still frazzled from the hug.

The two trainers shopped for another hour, mostly just to look at the cute trinkets and good food before heading over to the small Pokemon Center across the street.

As Luna walked towards the automatic sliding doors they opened up and before she could react, Luna walked face-first into a taller woman exiting the building in a hurry. After a short wait for their Pokemon to be restored to full health, the two trainers made their way to the start of the mountain path. A slow incline up the mountain was visible but disappeared beyond the trees. The number of trainers passing through died down in comparison to the plaza, but there were still a few trainers and what looked to be a family making the trek up the mountain in front of them.

"Alright!" Luna turned to Gilly and Heidi, "You two ready, or what!?" She pumped up her arm.

Luna rolled her eyes, "It does when we get to the top! So let's go!" Luna pointed to the top of the mountain proudly as she began marching up the path.

After a couple of hours, of an inclined walk up the side of the mountain, Luna picked up a sweat, and Gilly's sweater was in much need of a replacement with how drenched it was.

"I always wear sweaters! It's my thing!" Gilly panted as Heidi held her hand to step up the wooden steps planted in the dirt.

"About six to seven hours depending on how much we have to stop," replied Gilly.

"That's a hard one for me!" replied Luna, "I just like so many Pokemon out there and there are so many that I don't even know about. A-And it feels like they find out about another hundred or two every couple of years! S-so it's hard for me to say..."

Spike shook his head from side to side.

Heidi held her shoulder softly yet firmly as she smiled and handed her the whiteboard, which read, "It's okay! I can sense his aura nearby! I will go and get him, it's dangerous to travel at night."

Gilly didn't seem too worried with her Pokemon venturing off, "Just use Thunder Punch if you need us. I'll come running, 'kay?"

Gilly yawned as she opened her tent to enter it, "Not really. She's pretty independent and wouldn't listen to me if I told her not to help anyways. Plus, she's strong I know she can handle her own."
