"S-Sasuke, I need to go to the h-hospital. Now." Without hesitation, the Uchiha stood and scooped her up tenderly into his arms before carrying her out the front door and to his awaiting car; fear gripping him as he raced her towards the hospital. Running every single red light along the way.
"Sakura? Sakura! Where in hell is she!?" Her best friend's voice carried towards them from down the hallway and the pink-haired rolled her eyes but smiled while Sasuke let out a deep sigh of resignation. With his hand clasped tightly in hers, Sakura gave it a firm, yet reassuring squeeze just as Ino dragged herself into the room; followed closely behind by a panting, out-of-breath Naruto. "Oh my god! What in the hell happened to you," the blonde cried hysterically as she made her way to the pinkette's bedside. "How are you and how is the baby?"
"We're fine, Ino. No need to worry yourself over us."
"No need to— SAKURA HARUNO! HOW CAN YOU BE SO CALM AT A TIME LIKE THIS!?" Sasuke sighed again and rubbed his hand down his face before moving it up to tussle his hair. Sakura shushed the hyperventilating girl by pulling her close with her free hand to sit in the plush chair opposite of Sasuke's.
Naruto, who was surprisingly quiet, had moved to the seat right next to her fiancé's and plopped down noisily in it as his gaze focused on her face.
"Are you okay, Sakura," he asked; genuine concern oozing from his body, as his muscles seemed taunt with anxiety. "I didn't want to intrude, but I also wanted to come with Ino to make sure that you and the baby were both okay. Sasuke, he sounded a bit…frantic…over the phone earlier when he called us to let us know that he took you to the hospital."
"We're both doing fine. My blood pressure was fluctuating too much, causing the cramps and dizzy spells. My doctor is keeping us overnight for observation, but said I should be able to go home sometime tomorrow morning!"
"That's great news!"
"Yeah, I'm glad it wasn't anything more serious…," Sakura sighed, and a small frown tugged at her lips. "But I have to remain on bedrest for a few weeks… with minimal activity. I'm not really excited about that part of it."
"It won't be too pleasant," Ino agreed with a slow nod, "but don't worry, Sakura! We will be there for you and we'll visit you as often as we possibly can to keep you company and keep you updated on what's what. Won't we, Naruto!" The other blonde nodded and gave her a soft smile. "So, you're sure you and the baby are fine…," Ino said as she brought her hand up to cover Sakura's free one. The pinkette tried for a reassuring smile to ease her friend's worry.
"Yes. They have me hooked up to a bunch of monitors to keep track of the baby's heart rate and whatnot. You can see it there," she indicated after withdrawing her hand to point at the machine to the side of Ino's chair. The blonde tilted her head as she gazed at the zigzagging patterns on the sheet of paper for a moment before nodding.
"I see. Well I'm glad then. If they weren't taking it seriously, I was going to have to fight someone for your honor, Sak." The pinkette laughed at this, a genuine fit that caused the others (apart from the Uchiha who snorted) to follow suit.
After their laughter had died down and joyful banter was exchanged between the group of friends, Ino decided to ask her, "So, has your mom called you yet to check up on you?" Sakura's mood instantly shifted, and she narrowed her eyes while her left hand closed into a tightly bound fist. Her fiancé to her right shifted uncomfortably in his seat but held onto her hand protectively as she began to speak.
"Of course not. I tried to call once I was settled in here and they had checked me out, but it went straight to voicemail." Ino's expression softened, turning slightly sad at the news.
"I'm so sorry, Sakura. That isn't right. She should call you back. I mean what if you had lost the baby or something! How would she have felt then?"
Sakura snorted and shook her head. "I'm not surprised. It seems to be that she's forgotten she even has a daughter, now that she's lost her husband… and is focusing more on her "work" and friends." The mood has shifted dramatically and the atmosphere was now both heavy and thick with an array of different emotions.
But it was soon disrupted by one of the blondes.
Ino's fist smacked her open palm with a resounding thud and her gaze grew determined. "Well… who really needs that woman anyway when you have us by your side. Don't you worry about a thing now, Sakura. We'll always be here to take care of you. Cross my heart. I promise!"
"Ino," Sakura breathed out slowly, her heart swelling from what her best friend had said. "… thank you." In that brief moment, with her friends there to keep her company, she forgot all about her troubles; focusing instead on the love that surrounded her, and the joy that she felt with them by her side.

It shouldn't have bothered her this much, she thought as she glanced out her bedroom window; a soothing breeze blowing some loose strands of hair to-and-fro around her cheeks as she frowned at a bird perched on a nearby tree branch; plucking at its feathers to clean them while a small agile squirrel searched for food on the ground beneath it.
Her own mother never went to see her once while she was in the hospital… hadn't even taken the time to come home since getting the news to be honest and it angered Sakura more than she cared to admit; but she had been choosing to ignore her feelings and focused on how much time and effort her fiancé was devoting to taking care of her every single need. That made her giddy, not angry; like thoughts of her mother did. Sasuke… he was different. He was so good to her.
Cooking for her, helping her dress and bathe, bringing her drinks and books in bed, or carrying her to the living room or to the library just for a different view, so Sakura wouldn't have to walk there or exert any energy. Being on strict bed rest was starting to weigh on her though… and after a few days of it, the pink-haired was already beginning to feel a bit sircrazy being held up in her home like this.
Having her friends over occasionally was helping loads, as well as having Sasuke over 24/7; that was a godsend. But still, none of it was the same as being able to go out, enjoy the fresh air, or a nice walk in the park to deplete some of her excess energy. Not to mention her hormones were still out of whack, but of course Sasuke was refusing to touch her after bringing her home; his excuse being he was still fearful he would cause another fit and send her right back to the hospital again. (He blamed himself. She wished that he didn't.)
She knew that he was just worried, but she also knew that he didn't need to be. She knew her limits, and she was so tempted to corrupt him into helping ease the full ache that was gradually growing stronger and much more noticeable between her legs.
Her musing was interrupted by the sounds of her bedroom door creaking open and she turned her head in time to see that Sasuke once again was bringing her something to eat. This looked like takeout though, which she wasn't opposed to. She thanked him softly as he sat it down in front of her on a tray before taking a seat on her mattress. "How are you feeling," he asked for the upteenth time that day after taking a long sip from his water bottle. He placed it at his feet before leaning his back against her wall and stretching his legs out in front of him; parting them slightly.
It took every amount of strength inside of her to keep her eyes focused on his face… eyes instead of inappropriately lowering instead.
"Bored," she huffed after taking a small bite of her burger. Sasuke shook his head and smirked when she gave him a dirty look. In retaliation, Sakura tossed a fry at him… which he easily caught in his mouth and began munching on it. "I hate this whole bedrest thing. I just feel like I'm wasting my time doing nothing productive. I'm itching to get out of here and go for a walk or something."
"You can't," Sasuke sighed. "Doctor's orders." She knew that he was only following what the doctor said, but it still upset her nonetheless. Not feeling hungry anymore, she shoved the tray of food to the side and shifted to rest her back against the partially opened window with a loud huff.
With her eyes closed she detected the slight movement as her mattress shifted under his weight, before a shadow fell across her. Keeping her eyes closed she crossed her arms and pouted her lips as a response to his approach. Sakura felt him move into her personal space, his heat enveloping her as he placed a hand on either side of her thighs. "What can I do to help you, beautiful? I hate seeing you like this."
An idea formed in the back of her head, one she was sure that Sasuke wouldn't agree to, but she needed something, anything to get her mind off of being trapped in this house for another week or so. She cracked an eye open and took note that he had bent to her level, his nose within inches of her own as his breath fanned across her face. She shifted slightly on her seat and opened her legs… spreading them wide apart as she leaned back further, until he had to bend his head slightly downwards to keep eye contact. "Distract me," she purred before biting her bottom lip suggestively. It had the desired effect when she witnessed his body tense and his pupils dilate.
Sasuke closed his eyes and sighed, but remained in place. "Sak, you know that I want to… but we can't. Not right now at least. We need to wait until—"
"Until when? Until the baby is born? I can't wait that long."
"It doesn't have to be— I just don't want to send you back to the hospital because we were being too reckless." She felt like crying, her mood constantly shifting as she averted her eyes, and her bottom lip began to quiver. "Don't be like that…," he spoke softly while bringing his hand up to brush across her lips. "I just don't want to hurt you or the baby."
"It won't."
"Sakura—"
"Just forget it." She made to grab her food tray again when he quickly grasped her hand tightly in his, forcing her gaze to meet his as she waited to see what he would do next.
When he moved to his knees before her, she had to force herself to swallow soundlessly as he moved in to kiss her inner thigh; his lips pressing while his eyes lifted slightly to hold hers. "Just because I don't want to get you worked up with my cock, doesn't mean we can't do other things."
She felt her cheeks heat and heartbeat violently skyrocket as she shifted her hips up when he hooked his fingers into the waistband of her shorts. They easily slid down the full length of her thighs… before coming to rest on her ankles. Sasuke massaged her flesh and worked his way closer to her cunt. Feeling suddenly embarrassed, Sakura tried to clamp her thighs around his head to stop him and grasped onto his hair to tug him backwards. The pinkette licked her suddenly dry lips when he looked up at her questioningly. "I didn't mean for you to— you don't have to—" Sasuke put a stop to her rambling by nipping at her flesh.
"I want to," he growled. "Just as you are gluttonous for me, I am just as famished when it comes to you. Let me do this for you… please."
Finally, she relented and with a slow nod, she let her legs fall open for him; though her fingers remained locked in his silky hair. Her fiancé ventured closer… taking extra care to place his tender, loving affections to her inner thighs which always seemed to be so, so sensitive when his mouth was near. She let out a shaky sigh and leaned back further until her back slid down to lay flat on the window seat. With her gaze skyward, she had to focus more on her other senses to detect what he was doing.
She jerked slightly when his tongue took an experimental lick of her lower lips, and gasped lowly as he pressed the tip against her clit right afterwards. Sasuke held her down by the thighs, and began to torture her with painstakingly slow movements. Her grip on his tresses tightened as she tried to lift herself upwards to help ease a little of the ever growing tension coiling in her lower belly, but he simply refused and she let out a disgruntled huff while tugging at his locks desperately. "S-Sasuke, stop teasing me please. It's torture. I need to—"
He didn't acknowledge her desperate plea with words and instead chose to silently release her thighs, before working his hands down slowly to rest underneath her butt; placing them respectively on either of her rounded, plump cheeks then lifted her up as his tongue delved between her slits; in and out as he lapped at her cunt in rapid succession; like a young man who'd been deprived of the pleasure of tasting an oasis spring in the middle of a desert for far too long… eager to quench his thirst.
Sakura lifted her legs up to rest on either of his shoulders, while placing the heels of her feet in the middle of his back on either side of his spine; using the leverage to rock her lower body as she aided him in bringing herself to climax. Having no other options but to focus on her other senses, everything seemed heightened when she came.
The feel of his silky hair gripped between her fingers as she tugged on it fiercely.
The sounds of his tongue lapping at her while they both moaned in unison and pleasure.
The scent of his cologne surrounding her like nothing else did.
And the sweet taste of his name on her tongue—
Her lungs burned when she screamed his name, her legs shaking as he continued to work her body until every last drop was consumed and she had collapsed back onto the seat in a sated heap. He let go of her and lifted himself up into an upright position on his knees as he looked down at her with a smirk, before whipping his mouth clean with the back of his hand. She had a soft smile on her lips and was panting heavily, completely spent and happy… for the time being that is.
"Better?"
She chuckled tiredly before her smile grew. "Loads."

"I'm finally free," Sakura giggled happily as she swung the front door of her home wide open, taking in a deep breath before stepping onto the porch. Sasuke was close behind and locked it behind them before taking her by hand.
Her few weeks of imprisonment were finally up (much to Sakura's delight) and so her fiancé had sweetly planned a dinner out to celebrate with their closest friends… Ino and Naruto. He guided her over to his car before helping her into the passenger's seat.
"So," she prompted when he'd sat down and buckled his seatbelt. The sounds of the engine coming to life was brief before an upbeat tune began to play from the stereo. She turned her gaze toward him and continued. "Where are we going? You never would tell me, babe."
Sasuke rolled his eyes and began to drive. "If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise now would it."
"Oh come on," the pinkette pouted like a petulant child by crossing her arms and jutting out her lip. "You know I don't like it when you try to surprise me like this, Sasuke. It's not fair."
He chuckled and flipped on his turn signal. "I don't think you'll be disappointed. Trust me." Sakura only shook her head and smiled softly before she turned her gaze to the window.
He was right though in the end. She wasn't disappointed.
