Chapter 32-Grace
Emma sat at the table while making the hat. Jefferson sat across the table from Emma.
"Why do you want me to make a hat?" Asked Emma. Jefferson didn`t say anything and Emma stopped working and made a run towards the door. Emma got to the hall when Jefferson grabbed Emma and took her back to the room.
Jefferson let go of Emma and walked towards the telescope. "Let me show you why I need you to make the hat."
Emma walked to the telescope and looked through to a little girl having dinner with the parents.
Her name is Grace, here it`s Paige but she`s Grace my daughter."
Mary Margent, David and Lily walked to the place Lily last saw Emma.
"This is a last place I saw Emma. Lily said.
The three of them looked around for anything that could tell them where Emma is. After a few minutes of looking, The three of them spit up .
Back at Jefferson`s house, Emma is looking through the telescope. "I don`t get it. Is she in foster care?"
"No, it`s the curse. She doesn`t know who I am. The life before the curse."
"I know what that is like, I`m living with my mum and she doesn`t know. I grow up wanting to find my parents and now I have and they don`t know. I know what it feels like, the way you look at Grace. No one has ever looked at me like that. That is why you want me to make the hat, you want to take Grace home."
"It`s the only world we can be together."
Jefferson turned to get the hat when Emma grabbed the telescope and used it to hit him across the face.
Emma ran out the room and to the front door. The front door is locked and once she unlocked the door and opened it, before she could step out Jefferson grabbed her and shut the door.
Jefferson took Emma back to the room.
"I want to go home." "What home, you said it was foster home. You help me get my Grace back I will help you get your parents back."
"I don`t know, I have been wanting to meet my parents since I was three what if they don`t match up to how I thought. What if I don`t . Under the curse I have a really nice foster mum. I don`t know what to do?
Outside David heard someone scream and saw someone grab Emma and bring her back inside the house.
He sneaked around the house looking for a way in.
Inside the house, "What if there is a way to show you that your parents do love you."
"How, how are you going to do that?" Emma asked.
"Want to take a trip with me in the hat."
