AN: Here I am back with another chapter! I particularly liked this one, had a lot of fun writing it. I know the fandom isn't active right now, but I know some people will still read this. Also who knows, in the future when the second movie releases, this story could get more views hehe. Anyway, enjoy the chapter and see you at the end for my closing thoughts.
After a long week of constant work, it was time for Riley and her Emotions to relax. Their week had been rough, some ups and downs. Riley went to bed and woke up the next day knowing she was free. A very well deserved Saturday morning: no school, no need to get up early. She could just stay there and rest in the safety and warmth of her bed, with no one disturbing.
Inside Riley's mind, her Emotions were still sleeping, all but Joy. She was indeed on dream duty. She was sitting on her chair; her expression is one of unusual energy radiating from it. Somehow, she did not feel tired, staying up all night acting as Riley's guardian. The other Emotions would usually fall asleep halfway through their night watch. Joy stretched her arms and legs out. Being quite early in the morning, she goes to fetch a glass of milk. She makes her way to the fridge and takes the milk out, pouring a glass for herself. She was about to drink it when she noticed Sadness looking at her, with a tired face. Still within Joy's corner vision, she invites her to take a sip with her. The blue Emotion slowly nods, with a faint smile.
"Cheers!" as Joy poured a glass of milk to her beloved co-worker. Sadness responds in a low tone. For some reason she preferred sleeping in her usual corner, rather than her bed. Joy kept questioning that decision: it just looked very uncomfortable.
"The others are still sleeping?" asked Sadness, putting her glass down and wiping her lips with her sleeve. Joy shook her head in disapproval and gave a tissue to Sadness.
"Yes, they are! Fear had a stressful time this week with all the prep work and studying with Riley. I would have helped him but I suck at maths, sooo." She explained, scratching the back of her head.
"What about the other two?"
"Oh, you mean cute little Anger and beautiful Disgust? They're usually early in the morning, but I think this time they want to stay in bed a little more" speculated Joy. She continued. "Anger would usually come down about now and read his newspaper. Grumpy old man!" chuckled Joy.
Sadness raised an eyebrow. "Old man? Well, he surely acts like one… grandpa Anger…" just the thought of that made her laugh a bit. Joy bursted out in laughter.
"That's a really good one! It shall be his new nickname." Grinned Joy, rubbing her hands together.
"Did you see how he and Disgust were so friendly to each other the other day?" whispered Sadness.
Joy's eyes widened, her grin growing larger when she realized.
"True! So true. They usually yell a lot at each other but yesterday… they were just laughing and chatting the entire time. I didn't pay much attention to it though. I'm glad you're this observant." Concluded Joy.
"But Joy, what if-" she then walked a little closer. "What if… they got a thing for each other?"
As Sadness finished the sentence, Joy could barely contain her excitement. Her whole body was shaking in happiness, she had a hard time keeping still. "THAT'S EXACTLY IT! IT HAS TO BE! IT ONLY MAKES SENSE WHY ANGER WAS SO WEIRDLY NICE TO HER!" yelled a frenetic Joy. Sadness covered her ears a bit but she was smiling wide too.
"CHECK THIS OUT! What if we just arrange a thing for them? Like a date." Proposed a still excited Joy.
Sadness finally felt part of something bigger. She loved it when Joy would involve her in one of her crazy schemes. She made such good friends with Joy after the incident at HQ. It wasn't like her to be this optimistic about something.
"Let's do it then. We just need to be careful because those two can smell plots from very far away!" warned Sadness. Joy reassures her but as they were talking, they heard slow footsteps coming from the stairs. Joy regained her composure and went in front of the stairs to check. It was Fear. His face indicated tiredness, despite having slept a lot the other night. His steps were slow and methodical, his back hunched forward. He gave a weak salute after getting at the bottom of the stairs.
"Hey Fear! You okay? You look like a zombie!" called Joy.
Fear slowly turned to her "Uh yeah I'm-" his expression immediately changed when he realized what Joy just said.
"ZOMBIES?! WHERE?! YOU'RE NOT TAKING ME ALIVE!" shouted a hysteric Fear, running around in search for cover.
Much to Sadness' enjoyment, she had to calm him down.
"Okay there there now. You know zombies don't exist. It's just an urban legend… something like that anyway." Explained the teardrop.
Fear stopped dead in his tracks and turned to Sadness. His expression returned to his usual composed one. "Oh yeah uh… of course." He laughed slowly in embarrassment. "I knew that. Dead people walking don't exist, was just testing your attention in the morning."
"Yeah yeah yeah, fun stuff. Anyways did you hear what me and Sadness talked about?" questioned a curious Joy, inciting Fear to answer. The raw nerve raises an eyebrow. Joy's arms at her sides, waiting for an answer.
"N-no… was it important?" he hesitantly questioned. Right after that, Sadness tugged Joy's arm, before she could answer back to Fear. The two looked at each other in the eyes and immediately understood each other. Joy turned her gaze back to Fear.
"Nah. Just some work-related things, boring stuff." Lied Joy.
"Right. If you need me for any of that jazz, I'll be here making a cup of coffee. Maybe two."
Joy waves along as Fear disappears behind the corner, hearing him fiddling around.
"Oh Fear, I forgot to tell you."
His head pops from the corner again. "Yes Sadness? Make it quick." He urged, as he was right in the process of making his coffee.
Sadness nodded and simply asked "Why are you awake this early? It's weekend." Reminded Sadness. Of course, Fear knew that. He always paid attention to Riley's schedule, possibly more than Disgust or Joy.
"Yeah. I know, it's just… I couldn't sleep last night because those loveable two were planning to prank me and I had to keep my watch on the door. They turned the lights off, and stole my bedside light! I JUST COULDN'T SLEEP!" explained a frightful Fear.
An attentive Joy laughed upon hearing it but then she questioned "Wait a sec, they stole your bedside light?" She then puts her arms at her sides again and gives a sassy smile. "Fear, aren't you too old for that now?"
Fear blushed and turned around. "N-no! I just need it, okay?! Got a problem with it? It's my personal light and it just annoys me that they stole it!" yelled Fear in frustration.
Joy raised an eyebrow before giggling. Fear gives her an annoyed look; he then goes back to make his coffee. Joy and Sadness make their way to the couch, discussing the Anger and Disgust situation further. They planned to get the two of them closer. Luckily for Sadness, Joy is a natural at figuring out plans, especially if they involve-
"PARTY!" shouted Joy with excitement, standing up from the couch. She turns her head towards the kitchen and immediately sits down again. Fear poked his head out once more, but shook his head and continued on his task. Sadness weirdly approves of this decision.
"Why not, it'll be fun… I think. I hope there'll be snacks and drinks. I guess we deserved it after this long week." Stated a timid Sadness, fiddling her indexes together. Joy quickly gives her a couple of happy nods. She calls out to Fear once again.
"Hey there Fear! You done with that coffee yet?"
Fear shouts 'yes' then walks out of the kitchen with 3 cups in his hands. He carefully makes his way to the couch, and sits in between Joy and Sadness.
"Careful with the handles there." Warned Sadness. Fear gave one of the cups to Joy and she gladly accepts, thanking Fear. He then proceeds to pass one to Sadness, however she kindly refuses. He simply then puts the third cup on the mini table in front of them.
Joy takes a sip and pats Fear's shoulder as a way to say 'good job'. He gets a bit alarmed at the sudden gesture though.
"Onto serious stuff now." Said Joy, after putting down her cup on the mini table. "Fear, me and Sadness thought of organizing a little party for us."
"For us? A party? Now that's something we don't do often." Smiled Fear, thinking that a little relax time would do well to him.
"Yeah! It will be the greatest ever, you'll see. It's also a good chance for all of you negative Emotions to loosen up a bit, live a little!"
She excitedly jumped from her seat. "Well, I'm up for it. I hope those two will be as well. AND HOPEFULLY THEY DON'T PULL ANY PRANKS ON ME!" worriedly yelled Fear once again.
Sadness reassures him. "Don't worry, they'll probably knock it off at some point…"
Fear sighed and did not feel very reassured. Sadness turned her gaze to Joy, hunching a bit forward to make eye contact, since Fear was still in between. "I'm not great at these parties though. I'm not the greatest at having fun, you know." Declared Sadness with a low tone.
Joy simply shook her head and said it was fine.
Some time passes, and the three Emotions keep talking about the party and how best to organize it. Fear agreed to go resupply their snacks and drinks. Disgust and Anger finally make their way to main room. Joy, still delighted for the intel she caught on them, proceeds to have a little chat with them.
"There you are! Old man and his beloved wife!" cheered Joy, calling out to the chaotic duo.
"Do not start with this crap in the morning! It's my day off." Reminded an annoyed Anger. He sits on the side sofa, and grabs the remaining coffee cup, and gulps its content in one quick sip, much to Joy and Sadness' amazement. Disgust lightly taps him on the shoulder and proceeds to remind him that no days are days off for them.
"I KNOW! I just… like to think of it that way, okay?!"
Joy couldn't help but laugh. "Oh Anger Anger, always so mad! That's how we like you! Looks like tonight you'll get to have a lot of fun cause we're having a PARTY!"
"Do you have to shout that every single time? I heard you earlier." Complained Anger to Joy's obnoxious excess of excitement. As he finishes that sentence, he lifts his newspaper to his eyes. Disgust inquires.
"A party? Well. Everybody move aside. The queen of fashion will put on a beautiful dress!" said a triumphant and strangely excited Disgust. As she stands up to make a fashionable pose. As soon as Anger sees that, he snickers sarcastically.
"Yeah right, fashion queen! And I'm the governor of California."
A very annoyed Disgust then slaps Anger's cheek! "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" he rubbed his pained cheek.
"That's gonna leave quite the mark there." Commented Sadness, showing a slight smile once again. Disgust simply crosses her arms and looks the other way.
A little smug could be seen on Joy's face. "Aw that's no way to treat your best friend, Disgust! Weren't you two having so much fun yesterday?"
Disgust's arms return to her sides. "Perhaps I hit him way too ha-UGH WHAT AM I SAYING?!" she realizes and goes back to being mad.
"What is it? Showing concern for me now? Hehe." Smirked Anger, still rubbing his cheek.
"QUIT IT! How could I ever be concerned for such a mean brickhead!" shouted Disgust, right at his face.
Joy hangs back more in her seat and put her hands behind her head. "I don't even have to do anything. Those two are just meant for each other, Sadness!"
"Y-yeah…" shily replied Sadness.
"Let's change subject." Intervened Disgust. "So where is this party happening? Is it fashion Island? Family Island maybe? I actually would love to-"
Joy puts her index on her lips to shush her. She then dances back and forth around them and indicates the floor with a big smile. "RIGHT HERE! YEAH!" she kept rocking back and forth.
"WHAT?!" shouted Anger and Disgust in unison.
"What is the meaning of this? I demand an immediate answer!"
"Because I like it in here! We can do so many fun things!" explained Joy, her glow intensifying. She then jumped back to her seat next to Sadness.
"That isn't a valid explanation…" said Disgust in defeat.
"You know what, Joy? It's whatever." He puts his newspaper back down as he notices that Fear has been very silent.
"Where's that idiot at? I thought I heard him earlier while I was upstairs." Questioned Anger, scanning his surroundings searching for Fear.
"Joy sent him to buy snacks and drinks. She said she can't party without the right atmosphere…" explained Sadness while cleaning her glasses.
"Now that's just a lie. Joy could party anywhere, even at a funeral." Laughed Disgust. Anger let out a little giggle too.
"Nah! Of course I wouldn't! I'm Joy but I have my limits!"
The four of them kept chatting for quite a while. Joy still wanted them to dress elegantly for tonight's party. She also kept teasing Disgust and Anger being an obvious couple. Joy later receives a call. Apparently Fear got lost on his way back, and Joy has been asked to go 'rescue' him… from himself.
LATER THAT NIGHT...
"I could have gone so many magnificent places! Here I am instead, locked in this stinky HQ with you." Complained the green emotion, getting herself ready for the party. Anger was outside her room, with his right foot resting on the wall.
"I don't see why that would be a problem." Grinned Anger.
"Ugh, first Joy and now you! Get over it, I don't like you in the slightest." Her annoyed sigh could be heard from the other side of the wall.
Anger giggled and blushed slightly. A little spark of fire could be seen erupting on his head. He did actually like Disgust. No one else like her could get him so mad.
"Think about it! With our immense hatred for the world, we could overthrow Joy and become unstoppable!" joked Anger. Of course, he got the classic 'never in a million years' answer.
"That beanpole… getting lost. How does he still manage to pull this stunt every single time." Groaned Anger.
"I know right? We did such a good job stealing his bedside little light! The screams he emitted when he realized it were so good."
"There's no one else that could frighten me like you do, Disgust." Smiled Anger.
"That's right. No one else."
Meanwhile Sadness, Fear and Joy were in the main room, setting everything up. Fear came up with the great idea of arranging a bunch of mixed memories next to the projector to make an improvised disco ball. When he actually completed his creation, he looked at it with pride. The room was now illuminated by many different colours, spreading around in a certain pattern.
"DISCO LIGHT, LET'S GO!" Joy high fived Fear, for he came up with such a brilliant idea. Sadness liked it too.
"I only wish the light was dimmer, and slower…" she then slowly continued to arrange snacks and drinks.
"I love my creation!" he paused then realized. "Ugh I bet those two are just stalling upstairs and let us do all the work!" he complained.
"C'mon, it's not that bad! Also remember Disgust always takes longer to get ready." Reminded Joy. Fear couldn't help but look at her new dress. It was yellow, just like her original, but decorated with flowers of the same colour, it also had some glittered dots all around it. Sadness didn't want to wear a dress, so she just used her casual outfit. Fear had a classic white shirt, covered by a dark blue suit with a bowtie. Pants were also of the same colour, with his shoes being black.
"I really like your dress, Joy! Makes you stand out." Complimented the raw nerve.
Joy blushed and thanked him.
As they kept arranging decorations, they saw an elegant Anger rushing downstairs.
"Ahem! Ladies and crybaby! I now introduce you… the beautiful Disgust!" smiled Anger proudly.
The Emotions stunned by Disgust's beauty, descending the stairs. Her dress was lime green, with roses on its side. Fear just stood there, mouth agape. Joy and Sadness clapped hard, with Joy shouting.
"You are beautiful!"
"Thank you, Joy. Still, I wish we had gone outside but this isn't so bad."
"Because Anger is here?" teased Sadness.
Disgust ignored her and made her way to the rest of her friends, alongside Anger. He had black suit and pants, with a white shirt under, and his beloved red tie, for special occasions. They couldn't help but notice that Sadness didn't have a dress. Sadness just shrugged as to say that she doesn't care much. Good thing she didn't feel out of place. Their little party kept going for a while. As it turns out, Disgust and Anger quickly grew bored. There wasn't much to do for them. They danced a bit together, but they did that for 2 hours straight. Fear, Joy and Sadness also danced, with Joy still going at it. The remaining Emotions reunite at the table and couches, and sit down. Moments later, Joy joins them.
"So how are you guys liking this party?" she asked to the group, getting a mixed bag of answers. Fear was having a little fun, Sadness was somewhat enjoying it, Disgust said it was ok, and Anger said that he wasn't enjoying himself.
"I HAVE AN IDEA THEN!" she rushed upstairs with an ungodly speed, and came back with a bunch of sticks, held in her fist.
"What are you doing?" questioned Fear.
"Are we playing a game now? That sounds boring." Sighed Disgust.
"WE! Are playing the king's game! Whoever picks the special stick becomes the king." Joy jumped in total happiness.
"I refuse. There's drinking involved, and I hate it." Growled Anger.
"Don't be silly, there's no alcohol in these! Plus, we are playing my version of the king's game."
The Emotions eventually gave up and picked their stick. Sadness happened to draw the 'special stick'. It was just a regular stick, burned on the bottom, probably by Anger or something.
"Look! I'm the king." Said a surprised Sadness, showing her stick to everyone.
"Doesn't that mean you're the queen actually?" corrected Fear. Anger rolls his eyes and keeps drinking.
"Don't spill any on my dress, or I'll kill you." Threatened Disgust. Anger gulped it down in one go and quickly had another. He was also eating quite a lot, getting crumbs on his suit.
"Yes Sadness, you're the queen! Now if you guys noticed, you have a number carved on your stick, do not reveal it to anyone!" She then turned her glass to Anger, asking him to pour her another. She drinks it and her cheeks start turning red.
"Where was I? AH! The king or queen calls a number, and they must do whatever the king asks, NO TAKE BACKS!" shouted Joy, dancing to the tune of the music in the background, but struggling to keep balance.
"What a dumb game… let's just get it done with." Sighed Disgust, looking at her stick to see her number.
Everyone now awaits queen Sadness' order. Her word is now absolute.
"Uhh… I command number 4 to carry me on their shoulders." Yawned Sadness.
The rest of her friends looked down at their sticks, surprised at Sadness' order.
"I'm number 4…" Fear hesitantly stood up. He turned around to a seemingly drunk Joy. "Do I have to do this?"
"YES! THE QUEEN'S ORDERS ARE ABSOLUTE!" she shouted, still dangling around.
"Yeah Fear! Show us how you carry Sadness!" growled Anger. His tone of voice different than usual, he sounded drunk like Joy. Disgust looked at them and rolled her eyes.
"Guys, you do realize there's no alcohol in these, right? I have been drinking it too." She reminded.
"I bet they got 'drunk' because of the atmosphere…" speculated Sadness, awaiting Fear to carry her. Sadness climbs up the tall Emotion. Fear holds her up high and carries her around with fatigue.
"Gee, you're even heavier than you look." Complained Fear. Sadness didn't take that very well however. She smirked a little as she gets an idea.
"My servant, bring me close to Anger." She demanded. Fear, with a little bit of terror, carries Sadness close to Anger.
"Uh? Me? What is this about?" questioned Anger, now out of this realm. His cheeks also turned red, but they weren't that obvious, probably because he was already red.
"Please Anger, pull Fear's nose as far as you can, then let it go."
"WAIT!" Fear quickly turned to Joy again. "THIS IS NOT HOW THE GAME WORKS, SHE CAN'T DO THAT!" screamed Fear in desperation, pleading for his life. Joy simply shrugged and looked away, bobbing her head to the beat. Disgust smiled and reminded Fear of a rule.
"The queen's orders are absolute! DO IT!"
"My pleasure." Anger stands up from his seat, struggling to keep his balance too. He pulls Fear's nose pretty far and starts twisting it. Fear's face grows with pain as he does all sorts of facial expression.
"Enjoy the ride!" waved Joy to Fear, as Anger lets go. Fear loses his balance and instinctively reaches for his nose, condemning him to fall under Sadness' weight.
"That's for calling me fat." She high fived Anger and went back to hear seat.
As Joy gives the sticks back to everyone again, Anger and Disgust kept laughing at Fear's nose. Joy was apparently succeeding in her objective. Weirdly enough, Anger and Joy are still 'drunk', though Joy was visibly drunker. Her voice trembling too, and occasional hiccups. Everyone draws their sticks, with Anger making a particularly pleased face.
"I'm the king!" the brick exults with triumph. Everyone reacts in shock. Who knows what his orders could be. Sadness then nodded to Joy.
"RIGHT! Anger, I forgot to mention that your order now should be even more extreme than Sadness' order. That's how the game works!" explained a drunk Joy.
"Ugh, just please, no weird stuff-" Disgust finds herself interrupted by Joy's constant yelling.
"I was thinking of having the lucky one sit on your lap!" suggested Joy.
"How about you have them hug you?" Sadness also gave her suggestion.
Disgust then intervenes with her own. "I would pay to see Fear smooching you!"
Fear rolled his eyes. "This is ridiculous. Anger, pick something more sensitive… please."
Anger simply stood up and started unbuttoning his suit and threw it away. He then loosened his tie.
"There he goes!" a very excited Joy stated, ready for the big moment.
"I really like you guys' suggestions. I'd pick kissing someone, I'd have 3 in 4 chances of getting a girl, but I don't want to risk it. Instead-" he then pulls out a dart, fully loosens his tie and throws it away as well. He throws the dart with scary precision past all of his friends, and hits the dartboard behind them, which they were playing with earlier. Anger hits number 2.
"Number 2… my lap is yours."
Everyone once again checked their sticks, when…
"It's me… number 2 is me…" softly spoke Disgust, blushing madly.
"The king's orders-" started Sadness.
"ARE ABSOLUTE!" continued Joy.
Disgust shily makes her way to Anger, who was now sitting down, waiting for Disgust. She was now standing in front of him. Joy has been teasing them all day long and it looks like she will now finally get what she wanted. Disgust turned, and looked forward, then sat on Anger's lap. She refused to look at him, she just looked straight ahead of her, blushing madly.
"How I wish I was you right now." Commented Fear. Anger's face appeared smug; he was really enjoying himself.
"COME ON DISGUST! SIT CLOSER UP!" dared Joy.
"S-shut it!"
"Nuh-uh. You're not putting enough effort." Joy stands up and makes her way to Anger, sitting next to him, with Disgust still on his lap. "Look Disgust, you can hug him like this, too!" Joy sits on her knees and wraps her arms around Anger.
"Hey! Isn't this against the rules?" Fear demanded to know, only to get ignored by everyone.
"Sadness! Come on, you should do something about this! They could… get hurt or something!" shouted Fear.
"I guess I should go too then." Sadness stands up as well and Joins Joy and Disgust next to Anger. She just sits next to him.
"DUDE! YOU CAN'T HOLD ALL 3 OF THEM AT ONCE!" yelled Fear. Maybe he was just jealous.
"I can. Because I'm the king." Reminded Anger.
Shortly after, Joy demands one last round. After everyone went back to their place, they once again drew the sticks. This time, Joy was the queen.
"Please Joy… no more, I don't like this game." Said Fear. Disgust didn't say anything but looked at her stick, and roared in frustration when she found out she wasn't the queen this time. Joy was still sitting next to Anger hugging him. She probably didn't give it too much thought because she's currently 'drunk', otherwise she would have never stayed this close to Anger. Of course, the red brick didn't complain one bit. He was much more loosened up too, thanks to all the drinks, which again, had no alcohol.
"There's only one order I can give! NUMBER 1, KISS NUMBER 3! ON THE LIPS!" ordered Joy. Anger, next to her, apparently unfazed by what Joy just said. Sadness rubbed her hands together, knowing what would happen next.
"NO WAY! THIS ISN'T POSSIBLE! ME? TWO TIMES IN A ROW?" barked Disgust.
"Woah careful there! You're becoming so red you look like Anger now!" joked Joy, commenting as Disgust's visible blushing.
"I'm done." Fear stood up and made his way to the console to put Riley to bed.
Anger felt a bit of pity for her though. "You don't have to do it if you don't want to." Reassured Anger. Joy looked at him quizzically.
"But Anger, the queen's orders are absolute! Don't let me down now!" begged Joy. Disgust was now standing in front of him, feeling a bit uncomfortable.
"Like I said, you don't have to-" he was interrupted by Disgust's lips, pressing against his. The kiss only lasted a second, as the two pulled away. Disgust looked away, her face burning up.
"Woah… I guess that works too. Thank you."
"I-I didn't do it for you, stupid brick! Who knows what Joy would have dared me to do next." She quickly explained herself.
"Suuuuure" smiled Sadness.
"I'm serious!" firmly said Disgust.
The HQ was now a bit of a mess. Fear was already taking care of it, cleaning the floor and removing decorations. He turns to Joy and nods to her as to say 'nice party'. It looked like he wasn't having fun, but he actually did. Joy fell asleep next to Anger, while Sadness went upstairs.
"Hey… you wanna talk about it?" asked Anger, worried for Disgust.
"Let's just… go to bed, okay?"
Feeling bad, Anger stood up and sat next to her. Disgust refused to look at him.
"Sorry. I hope I didn't make you too uncomfortable. You know, I'm glad we stay friends. I was just joking today, you know?" explained Anger, making sure no one else was around or listening.
"What?"
"I said I'm sorry!" shouted Anger. He covers his mouth upon realizing what he had just said.
"That's better." She finally turns around, and gives Anger a little hug. "You're my favourite dumb little angry and occasionally cute brick."
Anger was surprised. Disgust called him occasionally cute! That was a big compliment to him.
"Well, I… uh…" Struggling to find words, Anger simply looks down at his feet.
Disgust lightly taps him on his head. Anger met her emerald eyes once again. His smile returned on his face, as he was getting ready to leave. Disgust then tugs his arm, and an evil expression appeared on her face.
"Wanna get revenge on Joy?" she proposed. Anger grinned and nodded to her.
"Heck yes!"
The next morning, the Emotions woke up and reunited at the console. Sadness and Fear were questioning where Joy was. Anger and Disgust grinned at each other and said nothing. Meanwhile, outside of HQ, Joy woke up. She rubbed her eyes and took a look around her. She was apparently in the middle of Riley's long-term memory.
"Where am I? Guys? Hello?!" called Joy, wandering back to HQ. Anyone could imagine Anger and Disgust's laughs when she came back.
AN: And there it goes. You might have noticed that the king's game scenes are basically a re enactment from a famous game. I wonder if you know what it is. That said, I hope you guys liked it and that the end doesn't feel too rushed. I was really dragging the story at some point. Too much fun while writing it! See you next time!
